👤As long as the battery holds charge, this works. The problem with this whole setup is that these guys don't sell their special battery pack with the exposed metal connectors separately. I contacted their support, but was ignored on all fronts. I have a controller stand. The official play and charge kit is from MS. Or any other company that supports their products.

👤You can't buy replacement batteries from this company. After a year of playing, you need to buy the entire kit again. It was incredibly wasteful.

👤I had a chance to get rid of the old Xbox as the holidays approach and the cold weather keeps me indoors. I have an X1 from the day it came out. The tv stand in the basement was a wreck and I wanted to get some new gear and play with the kids. Since it was from Amazon, I only got the Xbox authorized branded ones to prevent the headaches of dealing with junk. That is not the case at the moment. The dock looked good on arrival. The little light at the base was not indicating anything when I tried to charge the battery pack. When the cover on the base goes over the battery pack, the contacts in the base don't make contact with it. All works well when removed and the light shows charge. I would have expected this to be an issue for an authorized Xbox provider, but either the wrong plastic cover was supplied, manufactured tolerances have slipped, or just a shotty design are to blame. The dock is cool, but fails to charge as expected, and now requires modification. There is a message on this page.

👤The battery wouldn't charge on the stand. When I put the controller on the stand, the indicator light on the stand wouldn't light up orange for charging or white for not being fully charged. I tried a battery from a stand that was already charged but the base wouldn't charge it because it was from a stand that was already charged. I returned it because they don't sell replacement batteries for this stand.

👤You won't have to worry about it tipping over or falling off of your desk because it's heavy. It has a nice feel to it and the controller will fit perfectly on this. I have had no problems with the charging itself, it picks up right away. Premium quality look, feel, and design. It has a rubber base so it won't slip. The battery plate cover matches the dark gray and red one on the power cord. The controller will fit all the controllers. The controller won't slip on the charging stand. Immediately, begins charging. The controller will turn white when it is full charged. The battery pack is the only thing that concerns me, I plugged it into the controller and charged it up. The light is orange when charging and white when complete. I took the controller off of the charger and waited for about an hour to see if it was fully charged. It lost about 20 minutes of charge just from being off of the stand and never came back on. The charging stand won't recognize a full charge or the battery pack won't last long. I haven't tested to see how long the battery will last on a full charge, and will update my review when I have. Highly recommend, so far, 4.8 out of 5. The battery pack lasts a minimum of 8 hours, and I wanted to make a quick update to this review, and up my rating to a 4.8/5.0. I've been playing on this thing for 8 hours in a single session and it hasn't seemed to come close to dying. Sometimes the controller seems to lose connection or need to be power cycled, but this may be a problem with Windows 10, not the controller. The controller is amazing.

2. Xbox Wireless Controller Blue One

Xbox Wireless Controller Blue One

It's compatible with the following consoles: Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and Windows 10. There is a technology for gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets. A textured grip and a solid blue finish. The wireless range of the previous Xbox One controllers was less than twice that of the new one. The new wireless controller of the Xbox is more comfortable. It's compatible with Windows 10.

Brand: Xbox

👤We have never had a problem with the controllers. The first one that we received wouldn't hold a charge with our battery pack, so we assumed the charging set had gone bad. I ordered a new charging set for the controller and plug and play set for the Xbox. The controller at full charge would last for 30 minutes. We tested the plug and play battery and cord with an existing controller that we had and it worked perfectly with several hours of play before the controller died. When my husband plugged his headset into the blue controller, the sound was cutting in and out. The buttons on the controller were only used intermittently. We attached the headset to the controller that we already had and the sound was fine, all buttons worked correctly and we unplugged the headset from the blue controller. I don't know what the problem is with the blue controllers, but after trying two of them, we won't be getting a third. It was very frustrating.

👤The blue controller worked fine for a day or two, then acted like the "A" button was sticking, and within a few minutes from that the controller wouldn't stay on and no buttons would work at all. We tried everything, from restarting the Xbox to changing batteries. The controllers are not useful. This blue version is not the only one sold from Amazon. I bought my kids two consoles for Christmas that came with white controllers. I bought one on Amazon and the other on Microsoft. I bought the controller from Microsoft for Christmas. We put up a white controller so my son could use it. The microphone port went out and the controller started drifting bad within 5 months. I took the $60 loss and started using the white controller that came with the console that we never used, because Microsoft's warranty on these controllers is only good for 90 days. The microphone port on the white controller stopped working in one week, and then the right controller started drifting in 3 months. I bought a blue controller for my son's Xbox One console because the white one quit working 6 months after purchase, which is the exact same issue as his white one. Four controllers went bad in less than 6 months and two went bad within a few days. This is ridiculous because of how much these things cost and the lack of wireless and headset capabilities from 3rd party sellers. We are stuck with Microsoft controllers. Microsoft, please use better parts. They should last years for $50. One of my sons has the original Xbox One console, and the controller that came with it, which is several years old, still works fine. It's an issue with the newer controllers.

👤I bought this because of the reviews that said it was a well built controller. The D-Pad on most of the controllers I have purchased has had problems. I am very pleased with the controller after testing it out and I have found no issues. It works great for plugging my headset into and all the features of the controller work as advertised, which is rare.

3. Xbox Wireless Controller Pulse Red Windows Devices

Xbox Wireless Controller Pulse Red Windows Devices

Experience the modernized design of the Xbox Wireless Controller, featuring sculpted surfaces and refined geometry for enhanced comfort and effortless control, with battery usage up to 40 hours. Stay on target with the hybrid D-pad and textured grip. The 3.5mm audio headset jack is required. You can connect using the port on the console or PC. There is support for AA batteries on the rear. Capture and share content with the Share button. You can play on the devices with either Xbox Wireless or Bluetooth.

Brand: Xbox

👤The controller works well with the PC. The feature does not work well with Steam. There are a few steps you have to take in order to get it to work. 1. The accessory app is available on the Microsoft store. 2. Attach the controller to the cable. The controller 4 needs to be updated. Pair with windows devices. It should recognize the controller as the Xbox Series X/One controller. 5(a) If you did the steps before doing it. Go to the next step and remove the device. It should work without an issue. The controller is very sturdy and has nice textured grips on the back. The size of the controllers is similar to previous ones. Since I just got it, I can't comment on battery life. I think many of you will have a rechargeable battery. I haven't had any issues with it since it was put in my bag. The range is good, I am close to my TV. It is a better controller than my ps4 controller. It works well with Windows 10 and once setup with Steam the buttons are mapped.

👤If you already have a blutooth capability for your PC, you don't need to buy a wireless adapter. The only thing you have to do is download the accessories app, turn on your controller and hit the button on the controller to find it. After that, open up your settings in the windows to make it a new device. I've used the accessories app to see if the buttons work. I haven't had any problems playing Ghostrunner or Yakuza 0 so far. The controller can be powered by a cable if you don't have batteries.

👤I didn't expect a controller that runs on batteries. I was expecting a cable. Something that comes standard with the PS4 controllers. Silly me. I thought microsoft should play nice together. No. It pairs easily but is not a good doornail for games that support the xbox controller. I hope I can find an affordable cable that will work. I'm not sure. The controller is heavier than the PS4 controller even without the batteries. I just bought a third party cheapo instead of this one.

👤The blue color and white back of the controller is attractive. The controller is nice. When you start gaming, you will barely notice the controllers. Minor iterational improvements are no different here. The controller looks and functions the same as the one on the Xbox One, except for the "share" button in the middle and a switch from micro-USB to USB-C. It still has the 3.5mm headset jack, accessory port, and runs on AA batteries. The feel of the controller is different. It now has a textured feeling, which extends to the bumpers. The bumpers used to be glossy and slippery, but now they're more of a matt finish. The D-pad is much better than the one from the Xbox 360 and feels tighter and clicky. It's similar to the paddle D-pad on the Elite Series 2. The controller feels smaller in the hand. It feels a tad different than the previous generation. The Share button makes it easier to save clips from the game, and it's also just a shortcut from pressing the Xbox button and manually navigating to share settings. This thing works with all of the consoles, as well as PC and bluetooth devices. It has a lot of different uses. It works great out of the box and I was able to adjust to it quickly. Again, it's barely different, so when I say I adjusted to it, I just mean I switched to it. I'm a fan of the controller. I have yet to experience the PS5's haptics, which sounds interesting, but in my opinion it is nearly perfect. I don't mind the AA batteries as they last a long time and you don't need to worry about aging internal batteries. If you have had issues with the controllers in the past, this iteration won't change your mind.

4. Xbox Wireless Controller Daystrike Special Windows

Xbox Wireless Controller Daystrike Special Windows

You can make your own controller by using the app. There are supported consoles, Windows 10 PCs, phones, and tablets with wireless gaming technology. There will be support for the iPad in the future.

Brand: Xbox

👤It's official: Microsoft has ruined and killed the xbox controller. I've purchased two controllers in the last 2 months. I can already tell that it will suffer the same problem as my other two xbox one controllers, even though this is my first day using it. There is a small foam strip that is cheap and glues underneath the Right Trigger in order to make it harder for the Trigger to hit the plastic and cause noise. It took 3 weeks for that strip to fall into my hand while I was playing a game. My previous controller took a long time. I give this one a month because it feels like the pad is coming off. Is there a solution? Yes. Guess what? The newer controllers were harder to open than the xbox 360 controller. Instead of using a cheap tip to remove a couple of screws, you have to pry the controller case open. Then pray that you don't break anything. You have to remove the foam and clean the glue off. The registration issues on the left joystick made it useless for either single player or multi player games. I only use this for Rocket League on PC, and when it starts having issues like the ones stated, it is useless. The build quality of these newer controllers is abysmal and it's insane that this is Microsofts standard for quality now. The rubber pads for the buttons on the xbox 360 controllers wore out before anything else. I take great care of my gear, the controllers were never dropped or abused. Avoid like the plague, that's my advice to you. Purchase new stock. The controller will break if this is not worth the money. I can't believe it, but it sticks. I think the controller was subjected to high heat and melted the glue holding the cheap thin foam. Returned...

👤This is a very sturdy controller. It's a nice weight and it stays connected to my PC all the time, unlike my previous Xbox controller which cost over 100 dollars. If you are on the fence, I would highly recommend getting this controller. The build quality of this one is just as good as my PS4 controllers, and I can happily say that I'm coming from using a higher quality controller. The camo design looks great and the plastic is not cheap, I will definitely be buying another controller for my son. You won't regret it if you just buy one.

👤The controller is beautiful! The grips are topnotch and the design is vibrant. Great purchase!

👤I used a faulty gamepad with my PC. If you already have the bare controller, you can save $10 by re-using the Microsoft-brand rechargeable battery pack and wireless accessory. The mini-usb cable is used for charging. The item came in the original box and functions well, and gets firmware updates, so it appears legit.

👤I thought I had ordered a brand new controller, but it seems that the buttons and anolog sticks don't work. Sometimes the xbox controller won't let me depress the buttons enough to execute the action I need for each button. I've pressed it several times, but I never pressed it at all. The sticks don't move as freely as they should. I thought that if I used them more they would be more flexible and that I just needed to break them in, but I don't know what is.

6. Wireless Controller Astarry Gamepad Joystick

Wireless Controller Astarry Gamepad Joystick

You have more room to move if you have a 2.4 GHz wireless connection. You can feel the action with action feedback. Action feedback can be adjusted for a longer battery life. A new look with a black finish and gloss accents. A more comfortable gaming experience is provided by award-winning compact ergonomics. PC gaming at its bestPrecise thumbsticks, two pressure-point triggers, and an 8-way directional pad help you stay in control. The new shoulder buttons are easy to use. It's compatible with PC and gaming devices. The controller is compatible with Windows 7 and 8 and 10PC and delivers a consistent and universal gaming experience.

Brand: Astarry

👤This is a near perfect copy of the old official controller for the Xbox. The dimensions are the same. The buttons are the same. The sticks are the same. The battery compartment is the same as the one used for the first-party controller. It works perfectly with all your recent PC games, even if you don't have a PC, because it's mapped as an Xinput device and you need the receiver to use this with PC. I weighed the controllers. It's a good bet that they have the same or nearly identical parts inside. Control feels good. The buttons are responsive. There are a few differences between this and the official controller. The Astarry doesn't have an X on the Home button or an Xbox logo on top. There is a place for the hologram, but not on the Astarry. The Home button light blinks in a pattern instead of staying on. It's all over. I like the controller. It's everything I hoped it would be, which is to say I wanted an official controller for the game, but for the lowest price possible, and this is as close as you're going to get. It's great. The blue one is more expensive than the black one. I would have liked blue, but I can't see paying more for a different color. This doesn't come with the PC receiver for the controllers. That is sold separately. I own an official one and a cheap knock-off, and both of them work with this controller. I don't own an XBOX, so I can't test it on the console, but I assume it will connect to the XBOX without a problem. These are replicas of the original controllers, but they also have two well-known issues, one of which is that the analog sticks are super-sensitive, which makes delicate movements in some games hard, requiring you to set up low sensitivity in game. The D-pad is an 8-way disc-style pad. Sometimes you might find yourself pressing left or right when you want to be pressing down or up. It's not a "flaw" that this requires getting used to the controller's design. This is the best choice if you're looking for a low-cost alternative. I'm also saying that. This is an excellent controller. Five stars if you understand what you're getting.

👤The controller looks good, feels good, and I had no trouble connecting it to my system. The A/B/X/Y buttons are loud, sticky and require you to push them in farther than normal. The real problem is the analog sticks. They are not usable. The sticks are very nice and move well. The input deadzone is so large that moving the stick 50% in any direction doesn't register as an input. The next 10% moves at a slow speed, and the last 40% is at top speed. It is impossible to use in games as movement is not possible in real life. I hope the problem is described well. Other reviewers have mentioned the same difficulties, so I don't think this is a one time defect. Many of the five-star reviewers are either inexperienced or bought this controller as a gift. I would be happy to try a new controller if this is a defect. I will pick up an official used controller from my local game store for the same price as the one I will be returning.

7. Razer Universal Quick Charging Xbox S

Razer Universal Quick Charging Xbox S

There is a technology for gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets. The stand is designed with over charge protection to prevent overheating and short circuiting, and it is able to fully charge controllers in under 3 hours. Whether you are on next-gen or staying old school, the Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox works with all of the controllers. Magnetic Contact System: Mount the controller easily and never worry about its charge being interrupted thanks to a magnetic design that secures the controller to the stand. The charging stand uses the same durable material as the official controllers, and it shares the same striking colors. Plug the charging stand into your PC, or compatible wall plugs. One-handed navigation is designed to make it easier to use the controller while it is docked.

Brand: Razer

👤Before I bought this charging stand, I asked how easy it was to get a replacement battery. Let's face it, batteries go bad all the time. If the battery goes bad, I was told, I have to order a new charging stand. It's crazy right? A battery for $40? No way! I started to think. I have the controller gear charging stands and they are very similar. Maybe the battery is the same? I bought this stand on a hunch. The battery is the same for both. The battery replacement that works for the charging stand is the same one that controllers gear uses. I'm glad I bought this Razer because I can get a replacement battery for just 14 bucks. The stand is nice and the edition is great. U don't have to worry about the blocks going bad. You can use theusb-c in a surge suppressor, a TV with ausb port, or a phone with theusb-c. TheUSB C is a great choice for Razer since it is a universal cable. The controllers that are being used to match these are also similar to the Razers. The carbon black that I bought for my X series matches perfectly. These charging stands are for you! The price is right and you can get replacement batteries. The link is below. I've already tested the batteries and they are the same. The controller gear universal replacement battery pack is for the xbox series X

👤I wanted to pair this with my controller. The battery cover is white. Why would I want a white battery cover if I bought a blue color to match my controller? The battery cover wouldn't fit with it, so it didn't work. The stock series x controller is used by scuf. I put it on my controller to see if I would keep it. The cover was not perfect but it worked. The base is small. The elite 2 battery stand is better designed and is more compact. This was a cheap knock off. The material was cheap. I expected more from a company that charged a premium for all their products. Getting the controller on the stand can be difficult. The "magnetic" feature is not really a feature. It doesn't work. You have to jiggle it to get the light to turn on. The 2 base works better than the 1 base. I have to say save your money because I'm sending this back.

👤I have both black and red, and the red matches the one I have. It charges at a steady rapid speed, which is similar to the way it charges when compared to my anker brick. The battery life will last you a long time. I am not joking. I played forza horizon 5 and halo infinite from 10am to 11pm on Sunday and had 20% battery left. Don't worry about not leaving it in the charging station overnight because it will vary for some people.

👤My original review was 5 stars, but the battery never charged correctly. It stays orange when it is on the base. I woke up the next day and it was still orange. I get a notification that the battery is low after I play for an hour. I tried to remove the battery and place it back in order to make sure there was a good hold on it, but after two days I decided to get a new one. I think it was a bad batches because there are so many positive reviews. This one does the same thing. When it finishes turning white, it goes back to orange. I never had an issue with my controller. The halo limited one is the one I am currently using. That shouldn't matter but the only difference is that. The remote still works, but my OCD goes to 100% when it does this.

8. EXtremeRate Chrome Housing Faceplate Microsoft Controller

EXtremeRate Chrome Housing Faceplate Microsoft Controller

The Ultra is not compatible with the Xbox One Elite controller or the standard Xbox One controller. The second picture of the listing is important. Fit the best by far; Completely fits flush on all sides; sit properly on all the clips. The package includes a faceplate shell, a T8H screwdriver, and 7 screws. It's important. The controller is not included. Customers need to disassemble the controller to install the front housing shell. Required customers are handy with controller modifications. There is a personalized feature. The metallic chrome shiny color looks amazing if you combine it with aluminum sticks and buttons. There are metal buttons in their store.

Brand: Extremerate

👤The back-side plates of the controllers are the most difficult part of taking them apart. The included screwdriver can be used to remove the front cover once those are off. Just replace the old one with the new one. The controller looks pimped out. The gold shines through the cracks, giving a new sense of "cool" to the controller, even with a Silicone cover.

👤Good case. The cover doesn't fit a standard xbox one controller. The controller buttons still function just fine even though the controller faceplate isn't fitting. There is a Customer Error. I thought it was a standart xbox one controller. The faceplace covers the controllers.

👤I feel bad giving only 3 stars. The skin was of good quality. The color was pretty and came with the screws. It looked nice when I put it on. The controller stopped working a day later. It wouldn't turn on anymore. I assumed something got moved or disconnected when I opened it to put the new plate on. After I put it together, it worked for a while. The controller was new. A few months old. This is a good hard case if you know what you're doing with controllers. The plastic it is made of is strong.

👤Awesome-looking accessory for your controller. The controller is not included. You can use this to replace the original one on your controller. It is easy to install, and looks great. The cool faceplate we have purchased to date!

👤For fifteen dollars. I thought it was a cover for the controller, but it's just a piece of plastic that you put on top of it. It looks cool, but not worth the money. It comes in a little bubble bag, and it doesn't come on a plastic package. It should have come on a nice package for just$15. I would give it at least 3 or 4 stars for the packaging.

👤I decided to read some of the reviews on here, even though I was a bit nervous. I didn't know these were face plates that you had to install and thought they were just skin. My brother helped me install it and the controller looks great with the blue. I hope it doesn't break easy because I drop my controller a lot. This product is a good one.

👤I didn't know what the x box one controller was. I would have liked those instructions included with the product, I had to go to the You Tube video to figure out how to disassemble. If my son hadn't been here, I probably wouldn't have put it together.

👤Simple upgrade is more affordable than buying a custom controller. You will need a bone tool or plastic pick to open the back straps on the handles, which I had from another electronic install kit, but it came with the screw driver and replacement screws.

👤My son asked for a gold controller and I bought this for him. I didn't know it was just the shell, but once it was on the controller, it looked really effective. My son is very happy with it. I'm a happy mom. If you don't want to spend over 100 dollars on a controller, I would recommend not buying one.

👤I haven't written a proper review since I received my controller. It looks great and feels great, but lacks lasting connection. The three-star review for me was due to the fact that I experience disconnections frequently during gaming, and I'm not sure if the Bluetooth is as strong. It's not long before my controller flashes, to connect to my computer, even though it's right in front of me. I would give this five stars if it weren't a problem. I upgraded my review to five stars after I noticed that I only had to update the drivers to resolve the random disconnections.

👤I've had to buy three of them in a year. The buttons keep failing. I don't have an engineering degree to fix them.

👤I bought this controller for my boyfriend as a gift and he absolutely loves it.

👤The best controller for video games. There was no need for a touch screen or a motion sensor. Thank you for the gift.

👤It was paid too much money for something that didn't work. The home button doesn't work at all. It was reset on multiple xboxes and 100% sure it was connected. Nothing worked. Don't buy this one because you will waste your money.

👤The controller has stopped working. The left thumb stick is out of my control. What a waste, you would think it was six months. Never again.

👤Solid, comfortable, and looks good.

👤When I first bought it, it was fine, but eventually it got to the point where it had to be plugged in to work, and the right bumper is starting to go out.
