The support warranty is for 2 years or 20,000 times injected. King Size and 100mm Size are the sizes of Tubes that can be made. Quality Notes: All fresh Hawk-Matic Injectors must be inspected in the production process. There was a display that recorded the times of injected. The count is between 5 and 50. It means that it was inspected and qualified. Solider because of the aluminum alloy mechanism. The machine is easy to use and makes perfect smokes. It is easy to use. The flip-top hopper is large enough to make a lot of smokes.

👤It feels like a quality piece of tech. It's small but heavy. The tray that comes with it is great. I rolled 26 cigarettes out of one. No cigarette had blank spots or jam or tear tubes. It is quiet, and you can pack the machines with your fingers instead of using a plastic one. You can't tell how much plastic you have. I will recommend and purchase again if it holds up for a year or two. The tools that come with it are even better. I like it. All for less money than its competitors. It makes up for that when you don't have to re roll smokes or fix jams on humid days. Try it! It is worth your time and consideration. I'm happy I did.

👤I have been rolling my own for a few years now and have purchased two models of manual rolling machines and one electric machine. This is by far the best! It's very solid and sleek. It has a soft brush for cleaning and a tool for clearing jams. The rolling is the best part. We've rolled over 200 cigarettes and they were all filled with no gaps or weak spots. It used to be a chore, but now it is enjoyable. We look forward to using it. It's so simple and fast that you don't have to use your arm to slide the filling lever. My daughter and I both developed shoulder and arm pain from this repeated motion. That has ended thanks to the Hawk-Matic. What more could you ask for? Don't waste time, money or pain. The Hawk-Matic is for you! Click the Buy Now button if you want to. You will be happy you did. I haven't been paid for this review.

👤It was fast to use. I can do 25 in 10 minutes. Works well with 100s. Even better. If you use kings, there will be tobacco at the end. It's a lot. You would probably need to trim with scissors. The machine works perfectly with either 100s or 100s only. House brand tobacco and tubes is what I prefer. The cost savings by changing to RYO are shocking to me. The product is exceptional. If you have bad experiences with those little cheap handheld crank roller machine thingies, then you should not be on the fence. This machine is amazing. It doesn't fit in with the conversation like those old crappy little handheld injector things. There were no loose cigarettes. There were no cherries falling off. Being put out early and relit later makes it stiff. You have to be careful not to overstuff them because this machine is strong and will pack them in too tight if you overfill it. You should feel no resistance when pulling the lever. Try less and see how it works. You will find what works for you. I like it.

👤The Hawk-Matic Electric Cigarette Injector device was purchased a few days ago. I replaced a manual device that I used for about a year and a half. The premier never worked well. I would get a perfectly rolled cigarette. It was messing with every cigarette. I probably got one out of 10. Terrible product. I have been using the Hawk-Matic since I opened the package and it has been working perfectly. I roll 100's and it's easy to use. Put the tobacco in, press down with your finger tips for a few seconds, then pull a lever and a perfect, tight, full cigarette every time. Not a single badly rolled cig has been reported so far. I believe the device relieved a lot of anger and frustration I had for the premier. Thanks for a great product that does what it's supposed to do.

👤I work on ships. I've tried different rolling machs. The hand roller works well. The tube bends. If you can fix it, it's not a problem. There are 2 elec rollers. I am on a ship all over the world and they did not last a week. Many smokers work for me. I have this mach. It is great. The crew is on a ship. I have a mach. Any one can use the log office. It gets used a lot. I'm pretty sure there are more than 12 cartons rolled a week. This mach lasted 14 months. There were no problems at all. There is a The gear broke. I got a new one. There is a If you want a good mach. This is it. C/E David.

👤This product is very easy to use. You need to pack the tobacco into the slot, but not over pack it. It can take some time to figure out how much tobacco you like. My husband has arthritis. He can use this machine easily. He takes about 15 minutes to roll a pack of cigarettes. This machine has been with us since June. It's still working great.

👤I am an engineer by trade and bought the Powermatic ll almost 2 years ago. I had never purchased an electric injector before. I was very pleased with the product and I thought the cigarettes it made were perfect. It wasn't packing the cigarettes like it was in the beginning. The tobacco build up inside the product made it hard for the motor to push the injector and make bad cigarettes. I put some grease on the slide and taped some coffee filters over the breather slots. It was making cigarettes again. I went to buy a new motor after it died. I mistakenly selected The Top-Omatic Power Roll and it arrived on my door step. I could not believe it when I tried it. The machine makes ciarettes not perfect. They made a machine for one size. This is one of the reasons that Kings are so good, and it is built very well. I was able to make a carton of cigarettes with no jams and everyone of them were perfect. I think I got lucky because I received this product by mistake. The Powermatic does a good job, but it makes cigarettes twice as good as it does. I canceled the order for my Powermatic after I made the first 10 cigarettes. I already used the powermatic for two years and I learned how to fix it, so I would have some back up parts. I would love to open it and see the differences in designs but I will not touch a product that works so well. Sometimes I hear a plastic sqeaking sound when I make a tube, but I don't know if it's a lack of lubrication or a broken hold down button. I hope it is not wearing out. I have a full year warranty and I know that my waste factor on tubes will be almost non exsistant. When you have a jam, don't force the issue by trying to clean it out twice, it's not good for the motor, and these machines are good for that. I found a way to make these machines last longer and fix a jam quicker. If they could add a clean out button to the machine, you will not have to worry about scratching the tobacco chamber or the injector. I made a bypass for my Powerematic ll, which works great, but you have to use the clean out tools, because the chamber is really jammed, and you can't cycle the machine and clear it out. You have a great product and a happy customer. This is one of the worst mistakes I have made.

👤I researched a variety of lathes before choosing the Powermatic. After asking for feedback from members on various forums, all responses were very positive for this and other models. The quality of Powermatic equipment made in Taiwan is as good as it was in the US, even though they are no longer made in the USA. The lathe is heavy enough to do the job and runs very smooth. Go gold!

👤A friend has a lathe. I knew I wanted this one. The machine was very smooth.

👤I mostly do bowls on the short bed lathe. The extension was ordered to be used as an outboard turning set up.

👤The PM2014 Wood Lathe that I recently purchased is not acceptable due to the poor quality control and substandard accessory parts. The lathe and accessories contributed to a serious accident that resulted in personal injury, time off work and lost production. I don't feel safe using this lathe. This will result in not having a product offering for the first open Spring markets in years and a serious impact to my small company. The bed ways were poorly made and rough, making it difficult to position the Banjo and tail stock. The ways looked rough but were not given a final or finishing grind. I own two PM 3520's. Both of them had smooth final grinding patterns that were almost mirror finish. Warped casting at the end. The casting is warped. At the bed's vertical center line, you can see it outward. Not sure of the impact on use. It looks like a mistake. The owners manual states that the lathe mounting holes are located. The mounting hole patterns were not consistent and had to be cleaned out with a tap. There was a loud noise coming from the head stock. The sound seems to follow the movement of the machine. It seems to get louder and then quiet down. It seems to be quiet for now. This is a problem that is frequently reported. A loud noise comes from the nose of the lathe when the tail stock live center is engaged and a reasonable load is applied to the spindle. The sound gets louder as the force is applied. This indicates that the bearing is close to failure. This is a new lathe and has only been lightly used. The bearing specifications for the "6005 ZZ" bearings used to support this lathe spindle appeared to be a poor choice, especially considering the radial and axial loads that might be imposed when turning, a larger bowl blank that It might be an advantage to use two larger bearings together. Each would need to be able to carry the full load. A cascade failure could occur if two lighter bearings are used together. The spur drive and live center are of poor quality. The drive center and live center seem to be cheap. They have short stems. I don't know why. The drive center has a short center point and spur detail. The live center has a large 60 degree cone that would make a great log splitter. It will split a turning with ease. I know why reviewers said that. I should have listened closer. The accident happened when I was making a light finishing pass and a 3” dia x 14” spindles turning came off the lathe. The part was true and in balance. The tail stock is always checked for tightness. There was no reason for this part to come off the lathe. I have been turning professionally for many years, but never before. I could see where the spur drive had come loose when I inspected the part. I was struck in the chest by this moderately heavy, fast moving part. I received a bruise. I have a heart issue that requires me to wear an implanted pace maker. The part hit me on the chest. The jury is not sure if there was any damage to the device. I lost several weeks of prime production time because of the injury and the problems with the lathe. I will not be able to use the lathe because I no longer trust it to be safe. I have been a professional woodworker for over 20 years. I have used both 3520-A and 3520-B for many years. The PM 3520's that I owned prior to this lathe were built to a high standard of quality. They were fine lathes that were used with joy. I retired as a mechanical design engineer. The design and implementation of production equipment was my responsibility. I care for my equipment and design my work with care in mind. They are well looked after and treated well. Powermatic wood working tools have a high standard of quality. I have never seen a poor level of quality control on any other lathe. It would be a huge understatement to say that I am disappointed. I want nothing from Powermatic other than to have a lathe that I can trust and make whole again. The Gold Standard was called Powermatic. What happened to Powermatic? There is no reply from Powermatic. Thanks for reading my review, Larry Kunkler mechanical engineer, owner of Bridge City Woodworks, will soon have pics and sound files.

👤This the best RYO machine on the market today. I have rolled over thousands of cigarettes. It is a real time saver that the tubes are filled perfectly every time. It takes about an hour to roll 250 cigarettes with the PM3. It took me all day to roll that many with the PM2 that I had been using for years. My cost per pack is now 70 cents. Update! 26,450 cigarettes were rolled and still going strong. I received my PM3 on March 14th and will buy another one if something happens to it. The price tag is more than reasonable considering how much I save on every carton. I am getting close to 75 packs out of 2 pounds of tobacco at a cost of just over $50. There is an update! I have rolled over 42,000 perfect cigarettes since I got my PM3 and it is still going strong. The rubber that holds the tube on the fill sleeve is as good as new, and only had one minor issue with it. Over 65,000 rolled and are still going strong! The only problem I have is the rubber sleeve on the arm that holds the tube to the nipple is wearing out, hopefully someone knows where and how to get a new one. I have no complaints.

👤I have tried all the machines there and am new to the roll game. The old school slide type is one of the things I own. The pm3 takes the cake. The pm3+ makes it easier to make cigs. We're trying to save money on cigs, not making them every minute. A caveman can do it with the automated process. Just fill the Hopper with your favorite beverage, select your cig size, slide a empty tube on the nozzle, and press the start button. Ready to smoke a cig. I like to hand pack them more after the process so I can get close to a perfect cig. The automatic compression and injecting makes this much more enjoyable than a crank type machine. The pm3 fits on my McDonald's tray, but is bulky compared to the other machines. The same cleaning tools as the pm2 are used for clean up. The piece counter adds a nice touch to keep track of how many you have made. I'm not like some of the other reviewers who brag about how quickly they can make cigs, but this machine definitely cut processing time in half, and I can make 40-60 cigs in about 15 minutes, hand packing each one while watching my computer. The pm3 doesn't have the 5 stage compression setting that I hoped for, which was standard on the non-plus model. They now only have three different sizes of King, King mid and King mid. I guess? And 100s. After testing all settings on King tubes, I found that King setting rolls a lill on the loose side, King mid rolls a lill tighter, and 100s rolls the tightest. How dry or moist it is one of the things that varies on your tabacco. I usually switch back and forth on these settings while making my cigs. Your tabacco choice and prep are important. The reviews on this machine said to prepare your tabacco before using it, and I found them to be quite serious. If your tabacco is too moist, the Hopper will light up every 4-5 cigs. The machine only tempers for a set amount of times, so if it takes longer then what's programed to fill the slot for your set cig size it will turn on the Hopper light. I've found that moist and longer cut tabaccos cause thissue. I use Ohm and The Good for now, and it helps to let it dry out in the open air for about 10 minutes before making cigs. This machine doesn't pack the tabacco all the way to the filter. This something that has bothered me since I started rolling my own, and I've tried every machine possible. Hand packing after injecting is a must for me, but still not perfect. It makes cigs more enjoyable. I think most people in the RYO community just deal with it and look at the cost savings, then have your tabacco touch the filter. It's a great investment if you roll your own, it will pay for itself in no time. The pm2 is a great investment for people who are budget minded. If you're looking for less time invested over cost, the pm3+ is a must have. The pm3+ is still going strong! The counter reads 8407 cigs rolled and still counting. It has made rolling my own cigs so easy that I have saved a lot of money. Within the first month, Pm3 paid for it. I noticed that at the beginning of the year the injector started getting louder, like dry parts rubbing each other sound. It is almost like it needs a lot of cleaning. With no service access, I continue to use it. Sometimes the Hopper light will come on which is supposed to indicate you need more tabacco, but you open the door and realize you still have half full Hopper? Even with properly prepared tabacco it still does this, I found that you can shut the door and press the start button again and it will complete the cig, but it will be packed way to tight. If you keep the door open and press start, the machine will push out the injector and you can complete the cig without it being tight. This way doesn't show up on the counter so I believe I'm up to about 10k cigs rolled. In my initial review, I stated that I go back and forth on the settings while rolling. I switch the setting of my cigs to "king +" for a few puffs until I find a setting that works for me, but on occasion it rolls too loose and I have to stop. I still hand pack each individual cig even though the 100's setting is tight on king tubes. I noticed at about month 4-5 that it spits the tube off early if the tabacco is too small. I have made a change by pushing the filter towards the machine as it injects, which will help get the tabacco further in the tube, but also keep it on the nozzle. That's it for now. You just have to learn how to make your own cig, I still love this machine. If this one fails, I will buy a back up machine in the next month or two. I hope my long-winded review helps some people. Look at it this way. I used to spend about $500 a month on store bought cigs, but now spend about $60 a month on tabacco and tubes. If you ask me, it's not a brainier.

Steel tubing is durable. There are two integrated spacers. For a quick set up. In-line stop. It's possible to stop at pre-set depths without putting the bit to the base. The heavy-duty lectern can be installed to either side of the head. Work piece slippage is eliminated by stock hold-down with double-lock system. A quick-reaction cam lock will lock the fence in position with one movement. A quick-reaction cam lock will lock the fence in position with one movement.

Brand: Powermatic

👤I bought mine from Amazon. I was excited when it arrived. It was disappointing to see how hard it was to remove the protective coating. The table and fence had a rough texture. I assumed that would help hold the wood better. It was very difficult to remove the oils from the box. I finally got it because it wouldn't leave stains on wood. And started to use it. It was a pain in the behind. You cannot slide a small piece of wood over if you back the clamps off. I cleaned it so well that I ran into a problem. The table and fence started to rust. That was a big hassle. I decided to smooth the fence. Wood would slide easier if I solved my fence and table problem. After looking at some reviews online, I have determined that my machine did not go through the complete finishing process at the factory. The reviewers never mentioned working on their tables or fence, only that they should use some steel wool or light emery cloth to clean them up. The pictures are here. There are some milling marks on the fence but not the base. It was obvious that mine was rough to the touch. It took a lot of work to get a smooth surface. I wanted it over the Delta. I think I should have sent it back. I'm still thinking about smoothing out the table and fence. Will take more time with the discs. Or even a machine. When I use the cutter, it does well. I bought a bad tool and still have that feeling when I think of using it. After 10 years of light use. It's still working. It is hard to clean. It would take a lot of work to get access to those spots. I live in the NE and only heat when I am in the shop working with propane and wood stove.

👤Powermatic is known for their quality machines. I don't expect to see the head wobbling as I bring it down to the wood, the clamp wobbling as I move it forward or backward, and the wood sliding out from under the clamp. I have yet to make a decent mortise with this thing, because of the wobbling, I end up with mortises that gradually tilt to the left in steps. No matter what I do to keep it in line, there are too many variables in the shifting and moving around, and those variables have variables, so no shift or wobble or movement is the same as another. It's not possible to callibrate for that. The fence is at an angle to the table, which makes a huge difference. It's not adjusted by me. The wood slips out when I move the fence backwards and forward because the clamp cannot be tightened anymore. I'm really disappointed that I have to work at the mortises with a chisel after trying to save them, or repeat my passes up and down the mortise and then change my plans for the size of the tenons. It does cut well, but to be of real use it has to cut straight. I don't know what to do with the iron that's back to the router.

7. Powermatic 2042374 Mobile Base Jointers

Powermatic 2042374 Mobile Base Jointers

The California Air Resource Board has certified energy efficiency. COMPATIBILITY: It works with Powermatic 54A and 54HH jointers. The frame is made of welded tubular steel. It is possible. Mobility and independently lock are provided by non-marking wheels. In just minutes, Rearrange your shop for special projects.

Brand: Powermatic

👤My 54hh doesn't fit in this base at all. This picture is not accurate. When centered on this frame, the frame doesn't come close to touching the base of the jointer. I wondered if I was supposed to build an accessory or if I was missing something after installing the jointer. The mobile base is too wide and supports only a small part of the jointer. The opposite end of the jointer falls through if the jointer is moved against the edge of the base. The base of the jointer is placed on the mobile base. I worry that the jointer could fall through the base if it is constantly vibrated. I don't like moving the jointer on this base along my garage floor, and I wouldn't dream of moving the jointer on a bumpy surface. One of the cheap plastic wheel locks broke off because of the poor packaging. I had to break off the rest of the plastic and use pliers to open the wheel. I don't like operating my jointer on this thing, and will have to secure the base to keep it from sliding, which is what it does with all wheels locked. I'll be shopping for a new base and going through the hassle of moving my jointer.

👤I love the tools that I have upgraded to Powermatic. You pay the top price and get what you pay for. The Powermatic name should not be on this base. The wheels are designed for the weight and the locking system for the wheels should not have made it through the first prototype. I don't want to get on my hands and knees and screw a bolt into the wheel, I am 75 years old. Hard on my knees. The small lock on the other wheel is hard to use. Both of the locking bolts had plastic knobs that were broken. If they were taped to the inside of the base, this wouldn't happen. The base was the only thing in the box.

👤This is the second base I have purchased from powermatic. The first was for a machine. The packaging is not excitant. There is no protective packaging in the thin walled cardboard box. The heavy metal base broke and caused the box to break. The cheap plastic lock knobs on the stationary wheels are broken on both bases because of the lack of packaging again. Powermatic customer service is great, but after spending money on a product that is supposed to be a premium product, this step should not be necessary. It would be better if the wheels were to rotation for easier positions in tight spaces.

👤The unit was larger than the base and could slide around. The wheels and hardware were able to break through the box because of no shipping foam. My unit had a lot of paint runs and dust when I opened it. I call it spray paint because it was not powder coated and I painted it with a spray paint can. There were a lot of scratches on the frame as well as a bunch of exposed bare metal that missed painting. The welds and grinds look like they were made by a middle school student. This thing is not cheap and should not have passed final quality control.

8. NEWTRY Cigarette Electric Automatic Injector

NEWTRY Cigarette Electric Automatic Injector

It is easy to use. The flip-top hopper is large enough to make a lot of smokes. This product is small in size, light in weight and easy to carry, so that you can make anywhere and anytime. The structure of the machine is easy to operate. A perfect gift, healthier. You can save a lot of money by making your own gifts. A perfect gift for a family member. The product is made of plastic which is not harmful to the environment. The material is transparent. Steel tubing is durable. The outlet is made of STAINLESS STEEL, which is not easy to rust, and has a long service life. The adjusted swing is ADJUSTABLE SWITCH---. The machine is able to adjust the tightness of the material.

Brand: Newtry

👤The machine makes a great looking cigarette, but when you light it up, it starts smoking. When tobacco is injected into a cigarette tub, it can be twisted or screwed. The flam or cherry is on the side of the cigarette. Any problem that comes in falls off an burn. You have to light the cigarette again. I burned my pants and seat in my car. The flam or cherry that burned my pants was the same one that burned the carpet at the store. The flam or cherry can be dangerous. I think the machine needs to be improved a little. The pictures show every cigarette I made. There are cigarettes with this machine. I would like to thank the return policy for their fast response. I'm looking for a better machine. Thank you and wish me luck. cli10

👤The system is made out of plastic, it takes about a minute to rope every cigarette if you use it, and it has a battery that can be charged from a power source. The time it takes is something most smokers don't want to wait, and for my sister who I bought a fork it became more of a nuisance.

👤This is not a machine. I tried to roll a decent cigarette but couldn't. It was a bad buy. Lesson learned.

👤I gave my mom a one of these. She likes watching it because it saves her a lot of time. I have purchased 3 of them and they have been worth it.

👤I'll give it 30% because it's not very good at making cigarettes.

👤It worked well for a couple of weeks. Just stop! There is a sad reminder of what was once my hard earned money. It goes into the trash. Another mistake! I give up. I will warn family, friends and the public to whom I speak if I recommend you.

👤The idea behind the machine was good, but it ends up making poor cigarettes, because it is screw driven, and the cigarette doesn't burn good, and the adjustment screw doesn't work. This machine is useless at making cigarettes, so save yourself $20 and buy a better machine.

9. Top O Matic T2MAC T2 Cigarette Machine

Top O Matic T2MAC T2 Cigarette Machine

The toughest cigarette machine. All metal is built to last. Better, Stronger, Faster than the original Top-O-Matic. 1 year manufacturer warranty There is a tobacco coupon inside.

Brand: Top-o-matic

👤If you pack the chamber too tight with tobacco, don't force it, the lever won't cycle. Stop! Go to the end of the tube. On. Go out of the chamber and use a tool that won't cause metal to go up. Too wet toBACCO, too dry toBACCO, or too Shake at the bottom of the bag are not recommended. Trust me, its not worth it. If you force a jammed chamber through the machine, it will never be the same. If you follow the rules, it will be clean. It will last forever.

👤I've purchased 5 Top-O-Matics in the past 5 years and this one was the best. I was very pleased and it was working well until 2 weeks ago, when it started not working in the same way as the others. I'm the only user of this one, and I only fill it half way and get it Jammed up. When my busy schedule allows, I will be contacting the company to see if they can help. In the mean time, wanted to buyer beware. I'm stressed out and disappointed.

👤The machine that I have been using for over two years has been strong. There is a The rubber grip that holds the cigarette tubes is too thin to properly hold the paper in place is the only con to this machine. It works well once I learned to hold my thumb over the end of the paper. The cigarette is pushed off the end by a large gap near the filter. Extra tobacco is spilling all over the place.

👤This is my second machine. The Top-O-Matic with the black finish was my first model. The roller was good for my first machine, but there were some issues. I decided to buy a second machine. The roller was completely different when I took it out of the box. The machine has a smooth rolling gear that rolls a great cigarette. I read a review that said the rubber base keeps coming off, but I made the purchase anyway. The rubber bottom came off as the review said it would. I had the same issue with the first machine, so I had to work around it. You shouldn't have to deal with a product problem at home. It should be fixed before it's sent out. The rubber bottom falling off is the same issue that has plagued my previous Top-O-Matic T2's. ManUFACTURE FLAW. The rubber bottom is off the machine from the second it is opened. They all have the same issue that the manufacture seems to ignore. The rubber bottom falls off when it's expected to dump the tobacco all over the place. I don't know if you should use a better quality rubber or brain storm at your corporate meetings, or if you should make the grooves deeper. You don't need a masters degree to know that the machine has an ongoing flaw. Consumers don't test their loyalties or be stupid. This is my third roller from this manufacturer and the same problem remains. Maybe it's time to research another machine. Finding a more reliable rolling machine may be easy because we live in a world of so many different products. Making the changes before the only ones rolling their cigarettes on your machines are your own employees is a short lived hobby.

10. Prestige Group Powermatic Cigarette Injector

Prestige Group Powermatic Cigarette Injector

There is a limited warranty on the cleaning kit. Titanium Plated Compessor. The parts are high quality. Regular and 100mm cigarettes are made. No more arm twisting!

Brand: Powermatic

👤I opened the box after receiving the powermatic. I was angry immediately. The Powermatic I does not use low grade metal connecting arms that can bend, H-Links that can potentially go out of alignment, or rivets that can pop loose, according to the product description. The crank handle is forged. All the lies! The crank handle is made of plastic. I have yet to roll a cigarette with this machine, and I am very skeptical about its quality. I will update this review after some use, but for now this roller gets a 1 star rating for lying to people. It's not a good way to keep customers.

👤I ordered this machine to be a backup for my un branded top-o-magic type device. The Powermatic 1+ device was a big mistake. The machine had pieces rattling inside when it was received. I found a screw and piece of a plastic screw post when I disassembled the back cover to remove the debris. The body is made of plastic. All of the screw posts are single use. The machine becomes non-repairable when the metal rods tear apart. The handle is made from worse plastic and locks in the down position, and one has to pull it up manually, because the spring is not strong enough to release it. I tried to use it for the first time, but the cigarette tube was not held in place, so the tobacco was pushed away, not allowing the last to be put inside. After the first try, I sent this machine back to Amazon. The reason for good earlier reviews is that these machines were OK in the past. The manufacturer did a terrible cost reduction that made these machines useless. I prefer to use my un branded top-o-matic, which is made of metal and is repairable.

👤The machine has been in use for almost 3 years. The key to keeping it working is to remove the rubber feet on the back, take out the 5 screws, and clean it out when it starts to stick a bit. I put a drop of sewing machine oil on the sliding part and worked it back and forth, then wiped the excess and grit with a tissue a few times. If you don't do this it will accumulate tobacco dust. The pull down handle is a lot easier to use than other machines and when it works well the action is very smooth. Ready to buy another one because this one is worn out.

👤I have tried many cig machines and have always found Powermatic to be superior to their competitors. Not anymore. Powermatic has cheapened the lever. They use a soft/pliable PLASTIC instead of a metal lever. The lever sways to the left and right when you pull it down. I measured the movement and found it moved between the left and right. If you make one carton of cig a week, you will have moved 10,400 time in a year. I don't think that lever will last for that many pulls. Sorry Powermatic. I will have to look at your competition for my next machine.
