Brand: Alesis

👤It seems like a set for kids.

👤If you use the right headphones or amplifier, it will sound great. It feels good to play. I enjoy the feature that I can play with music in the background, so I fell in love with playing with a real band. I am still learning and taking lessons from it. The bombo has a very low volume, so it is difficult to adjust to the other voices. The headphones are ok, but I would recommend to buy a better manufacturing such as Sony or Bose to fully immerse in the sound and feel comfortable during hours of play.

👤My son is learning to play an instrument. The drums take up less space in our home and won't bother anyone. Speaker coming soon.

👤The kit is not bad, but the bass drum pad is not as sensitive as before, so I have to hit harder just to the sound.

👤This is a great size for my son's 9th birthday. It is a bit cramped for me, but I am a beginner and enjoying learning. It is not too strong but good enough. The price is worth it for my purposes.

👤A kid is learning to play drums. Excellent customer service. The person I spook was very helpful and kind.

👤You don't need an accessory for your headphones. It has a 3.5mm audio jack.

👤I love this kit and my neighbours don't like it. It will be fun to set it up in the garden in the summer. It's easy to set up and it sounds great.

👤Des peaux maillées, un pedale de grosse caisse. Le module est simple d'Utilisation, le son est net. je ne regrette, achat. The batterie n'a rien envier. Le seul Petit bémol est le montage et le reglage du rack qui est unpeu fastidieux. Je recommande cette batterie. N'ayant pas un budget.

👤This was a Christmas present brought on behalf of a family member and they love it!

2. Portable Sensitivity Mac PC PTED01

Portable Sensitivity Mac PC PTED01

The digital drum kit is very useful. The portable drum set is a replica of an actual drum set and plays at a fraction of the size. You can play the drums or record your own. You can connect the drums table to your computer using theusb cable, which will allow it to function as a MIDI controller for your favorite computer software. You can play the drums anywhere. The drum kit can be powered by the included AC adaptor or you can go wireless and use the batteries. Take your drum kit with you wherever you go. If you want to play for a crowd or for yourself, you can either use the digital drum machine or plug in your headphones. There is an update and a record. The drums digital top panel control center comes with a ton of audio configuration controls that will allow you to create some truly unique and custom music.

Brand: Pyle

👤I bought a drum kit for my son. It sounded great and was what he wanted. Three months later two of the drums pad lost their sensitivity and were less responsive to play. I went to the website and was directed to their customer support page on Facebook. The customer support on Facebook gives you auto responses and answers tons of questions. Nothing else was resolved at that point. I got what looked like a person on Facebook, but then went back to auto responses. I called their offices and was put on hold or disconnected. It says you're 2 minutes from support, but it puts me back to 10 minutes. I've tried 4 times by phone. Never got through! Over the last 4 months, I've tried at least 6 times to get a response from Facebook. I refuse to pay an absurd shipping cost to get no guarantee of anything, and I will not send this back to them. I want some kind of support before I spend more money on this. If your product breaks and you are beyond the return policy, you will be out the $140. It's beyond frustrating. How does a company get a return customer?

👤I gave this to my niece on her 11th birthday because of the war. Haaaa! Mwah ha! This is the second time I have given her this unit. She was four or five years old. I warned my brother that I was buying her a drum set for her birthday, but I couldn't wait that long. No sound was produced from hitting the pads when that one stopped working. I don't know why or what kind of abuse it suffered to get to that point. I didn't mind buying the same set again because it's cheap. I don't have enough space for a full set, so I might get one for myself. My brother will send the kids to my house for babysitting in revenge so I can experience some of the percussion. I put him through. There are more loud instruments and kid birthdays coming up.

👤I was put off by how much space it took up on my desk, and I didn't really like this very much. It's an awesome piece of equipment after the first day of playing it. The sounds it has are very good. It's a good sounding instrument. It doesn't make a lot of noise in the headphones, which is good for my recording purposes. I think there is something to be said for actually playing drums in a song, as opposed to having a drum machine do it for you. The part that I don't like is the Midi aspect. When I plugged it into my computer, I only hoped it was better than it was. This is the biggest downfall of the machine. It still plays drum sounds when plugged in. It is too quiet when it is used as a controller. I don't know if this is Logic's fault or what, but I found it better to record the line through the headphones. This is a shame because I could have changed the drum rhythm if it had played well through Midi and quantized and added "swing" to the grooves. I haven't completely given up on the function yet, but it seems to be more functional using its own sounds. I think this is a really nice piece of equipment and recommend it to everyone.

3. Signature Music Double Pedal 7199

Signature Music Double Pedal 7199

Silent action, horizontal frame brace, Double Chain Drive, carpet locks. One-hand spring tension adjustment, Beater angle and beater head adjustment. Roller bearing assisted pendulum is metal construction. The heavy duty angled floor base plate is tapered for comfort and control. Spring lock system, quick release hoop.

Brand: Signature Music Instruments

👤They look great out of the box. It was easy to make adjustments with the included drum key. My son, who is just learning to play double pedals, used them for 12 minutes before one started wiggling. There is a missing part on one of the pedals. The pin is pressed to make it impossible for me to fix it on my own. I will return tomorrow for another set because of the quality control issue. Hopefully that set doesn't have the same defect. I think that the pedals work well for this price point, but you should check them over before setting them up and adjusting them for your kit, I think they look great for this price point.

👤I have no bad things to say about these pedals. I've had them for two days now and have no issues. If you have dual bass drums, they can be used as two seperate pedals, because they are sturdy and quiet, and there is plenty of surface area for your feet on the pedals. I'm not sure why people are having issues with their pedals falling apart, because you have to finish assembling them to use them, since they come packaged as two pedals, two beaters, and a key.

👤I'm a casual player and use an electronic kit. The pedal was easy to attach to the bass drum. Squeaked from the other side. The cam assembly on the right side of the main pedal was loose after a day or two. There isn't a way to tighten it into place. Returned and ordered a brand name that was about twice the price and it was a quieter motion.

👤Our son has been playing the drums for a year. We had to swap the hardware on the pedal because he is left handed and plays on a left handed kit. It was easy to do. The pedal works. This was a great buy for a beginner.

👤I have played drums for 55 years and have had a brand pedal for the last 5. The best pedal I've ever played. I've had some big name brands. While trying to find a product under the wrong name, I lost the left pedal on a gig and have been playing single kick for several months. I'm whole again after finally finding it. It is as fast and intricate as my foot will go. The pedal plays as loud and delicate as any other pedal. There is no side-to-side play. I'm not sure what I'd gain by spending $400 more on the other pedals.

👤I practice on an electric drum set. The pedals have worked well so far. I believe you can use them with any set. My issue is that my delivery was missing the bottom and the spring on the side. With a little common sense, you can set the directions up with ease. Please send me something. The top spring has a missing nut.

👤This is great. Both have chains. The kit is very heavy. It performs as well as its $400 equivalents in my short experience with it. The quality is good for the money. The pedals are very smooth. Even at double the price, it's still less than half of the big guys, so I would buy again. If you have a single bass pedal.

4. Drum Workshop Inc DWCP3002 Double

Drum Workshop Inc DWCP3002 Double

The system has dual-chain drive. The spring rocker assembly is bearing. There is a patent for a dual-adjustable tocket. The single post casting design is a patent.

Brand: Drum Workshop, Inc.

👤My first kit was a double bass. I switched to a single bass kit after 8 years. I have used a double pedal for 20 years. I have played double bass drumming with 1 or 2 bass drums before. Double pedals are not cheap and you should get what you pay for. I had to replace my broken double pedal after I assumed I'd get a DW9000 or an axis double pedal, but I broke it at the wrong time and it took me a few days to replace it. I checked out some floor models at two local music stores, but this wasn't a floor model I was going to try out. I ordered this pedal after crossing my finders. I made the right decision. Reviewers are saying this pedal is slow. The mine was sluggish, but I adjusted the beater position and the springs flew as usual. I like how the dual chain keeps the pedal from rocking from side to side, which happened on my 7000s, but I won't knock it off a star because I'm reviewing the pedal for it. The connecting rod is cheap and may not survive a tour if you don't have a protective case with a foam interior.

👤I wanted something with a little more weight and speed, so I went for the leather strap or nylon strap. I was looking for a feeling that this one did. I had a Pearl Export pedal from a church drum set that was very nice. One of the best kits I play is a Yamaha Stage Custom. I wanted the right kick, it's a mid 90s era. The bass on this set is very deep. I landed on the DW 3000 after trying a few different pedals. It's features make it very versatile. All the changes and then some. There are times when you want the drive and this pedal is the one for you. It's well priced and performs well for what you want. I use it on my drums. The base is solid. It stays where you put it. The bearing action is very smooth. The dual mallet can be used for many things. I like both sides of it, but I don't know which is better. It's one of the best out there and for the money, it's a no-brainer. The weight is fast and just about right. There were no cons. Should I buy it? Yes, you won't be disappointed in it, and it feels to me like it's as good as the high dollar pedals which sell for much more but aren't really that much better. There will be happy drummers as long as they keep making it. I'm definitely one of them.

👤Needed this item for a show. I almost thought it was the Righty model because of the box graphics, but it was a Lefty. The big issue is that the two beaters come in a separate bag, and the beaters are supposed to have a memory lock, which comes attached to them. One didn't have it. It was not in the bag or the box. The balance is off and the beater doesn't have the extra security that is needed. I contacted Amazon and they were happy to give me a credit to buy the piece, but it doesn't come in for another week. I was really disappointed in the quality control.

5. Carlsbro CSD130 Electronic Realistic Pedal

Carlsbro CSD130 Electronic Realistic Pedal

There are 250 high-quality percussion voices. Line output, Headphone output. There is a device with ausb interface. In/out.

Brand: Carlsbro

👤I love this kit! It's worth the money for everything it does. The pads have basic parameters and the sounds are great. You can save 10 of the "user kits" if you set up your own kit. One of the best features is how small it is. I have a large closet and this is able to fit next to my computer. The boom arms can be adjusted in height and angle to fit any space requirements. I can lay down basic drum tracks in a few days after watching a few videos. Quite enjoyable. Excellent customer service. I contacted Carlsbro customer service via email with a short video about the situation and they FedEx'd me a new unit. Good customer service is a huge plus in the world of on-line purchases. Cheers.

👤I am very pleased with the kit. The price of this kit is 300 bucks. Do not expect miracles. Some of the features that are not on similar kits in this price range are for the price. The Midi outputs are connected to theusb connection. The kit looks and feels better than expected. The pads have a nice rubber padding, smooth and silky feel, better than some of the sticky pads I've played on before. The drums are small and portable. I can't believe I didn't go this route decades ago. Load-unloading a big acoustic kit and hardware is nothing worse than sound checks. I fit the whole thing in one half of the back seat of a corrolla with this electric kit. It is what it is. It's cool that you can modify 10 of your own kits. It has a feature that makes it sound realistic. I'm using this kit to play live in the near future, and I'm sure it will perform great. I plan on purchasing a second one of these to have as a backup, because you can have 2 of these for the same price. The only negative is that you have to assemble the kick pedal. It is more of an adjustment issue with the beater.

👤I'm not blaming Amazon for this. This is an issue of Carlsbro. I was so excited to make sounds with the kit and check them out. Within seconds of turning on the module, it died. I tried to find a solution. I am angry and upset. I've heard horror stories about electronic drum kits. I own a traditional acoustic drum kit. Do not buy this kit. I will be sending the kit back for a refund.

👤Not bad for a beginner set. The snare drum is very quiet. It doesn't give much more if you slam it. It's easy to hit it lightly and not get a sound out of it.

👤I have played this drum kit for hours. I tried to contact customer service to get a replacement for the symbol that stopped working, but I don't think this company exists.

👤The only negative thing about this purchase was that it was damaged. The way it was handled while it was being shipped was more or less what it was. I was able to fix it myself rather than return it. I was not a person. The drum parts were not affected. This is a great piece for the beginner. I was very happy with what I got. Highly recommend this set. If there were replacement parts from Carlsbro on their website, I would be interested in that. I did not get an answer. I am very disappointed and recommend not buying this brand.

6. Tama HP310LW Speed Cobra Pedal

Tama HP310LW Speed Cobra Pedal

The long footboard has a double-chain DriveSpring Tension Adjustment Beater. The playing surface has a smooth surface. It is possible to achieve a perfect balance between the chain drive's motion and lighter action with the help of the recessed setting position. The pedal has a round shaped rocket for smooth action. This version is 40% lighter than Iron Cobra's sprocket.

Brand: Tama

👤I love these pedals. Awesome 4 stars. The DW 9000 double bass pedal was a great pedal in its own class, but it was expensive and I used to have it. I prefer this much better than the DW. It arrived in 24 hours. Fast. The main beater was loose and wobbly, but I was able to fix it, so I am keeping these and I love them. Problem solved!

👤I have three drum sets. The new Tama speed cobra longboard is made of iron cobra. I love this pedal and it easily beats the other two.

👤I replaced my cheap and used Sound Percussion double bass pedal. Couldn't be happier with my decision. I have always been a fan of her. Their heavy duty hardware is high quality. The Speed Cobra Pedal is the same. Heavy metal will ensure no movement during use. The actions are very easy to do and work well. It has all the adjustments you need, and also has a slightly longer pedal board, which is good for shoeless drumming or drumming with your biggest pair of boots. I am glad I bought the PowerPad double pedal travel case. The pedal will probably last a long time.

👤It's easy to install. It would be great if sellers included a beater pad to apply the bass drum head. I used a spare pad I had on hand, but I think most drummers don't have extras. The pedals are great. I am still tweaking the springs and angles. I am very pleased with the performance so far. The responsiveness is fast, and there is a lot more feel than my previous pedal, which surprised me a little since the 600 is supposed to be a level up in their line.

👤Some plastic components may make it less durable. It has been great so far.

👤The same as the speed cobra, but with less features. As soon as I tried the pedal, I didn't miss them. Wow! The pedal is fast and powerful. The larger footboards are lighter than my previous double pedal. The springs are easy to adjust. Can't go wrong with this pedal.

👤The product is great. I've wanted to buy this for a while. The extra long footboard is better than my old pedal because one of my best friends has this exact pedal and I have a size 14 feet. I would say that the pedals from Tama hold up well. I like the way it feels. I would recommend these to anyone. These are great for people just starting to play double bass or seasoned players. These pedals are very good. I was considering buying the demonator pedals from pearl, but I found them to be more my style.

👤The product arrived as expected. Well packaged. This pedal works well. It is of good quality. A less expensive pedal already wore out. This seems better. Would recommend to others.

👤I bought these for my son who is a very good drummer and he has been using them for several months now.

You can connect the table drum to your computer using ausb cable. It has a phone out jack for the amplifier of the headphones. You can play the drums anywhere. This portable drum kit comes with an AC adaptor and a battery that can be used to run it on a wireless network or on a battery that can run on a cell phone battery.

Brand: Pyle

👤I bought this on the spot. Rock Band was the only drums I've ever played. The drum kit didn't last, but I enjoyed that game. I was reminiscing about the fun times I had with Rock Band while I was going through a tough time. I bought this set for fun. It's been a blast. I'm too busy having fun listening to music and banging along with it to even bother with tools to learn, because there are so many great functions on it. I have figured out that I can watch old Rock Band drum songs on the internet and follow along with the drums. Yowza! Even if you're too old to start something new, it's still a lot of fun. I put my drums on a wire rack with a towel under the back end to tip it forward. The wire rack allows me to have the drums at a comfortable height and also gives me a perfect place for my laptop to sit. I can follow along with the Rock Band videos. There are pros and cons. No matter what your skill level is, you can play this right out of the box and have a lot of fun. There are some things that are CONS: The pedals are a pain. I would love to replace the pedals. I would love to be able to kick it without having to tap it twice. It's too hard to do it right. I have found that I have better control if I place the pedal backwards. I take the time to write reviews because I know that I rely on honest reviews when I make purchases on Amazon. Let me know if my review helped you.

👤The pedals don't work so this would be a great kit. If you read other reviews, you will see that there are multiple issues. It was laughable when we called customer service. The first rep put us on hold while he asked his colleague how the machine works. There was no joke. That is a direct quote. The second rep told us to return the whole kit to Amazon and hope that the pedals in the next box worked better than the ones we had. It's seriously. If we returned only the pedals, it would take weeks to get replacements. The rest of the kit is very good and this is a shame. My son plays in a band but can't go to college so he was thrilled to have this portable kit to practice on. It has good capabilities and good preset. He likes it, except for the pedals. We figured out a fix. The pedals are too close to the base, so there is not enough room to push the pedal down onto the button. We took a standard pencil eraser, cut it in half, and wedged it into the hinges of each pedal. This raises the open end of the pedal off of the base and provides enough resistance when pressed to sound just once, rather than the two times it sounds (or sometimes makes no sound) without the erasers. They act as a spring to keep the pedal off the base if you press the button with a foot. My son would rather keep the kit and deal with the pedals this way than have the next kit have the same problem. We tried to buy a different kit at a couple of music stores in our area, but other brands have pedal problems as well. The only way to avoid these problems is to pay more for a kit that is marginally better than this one.

Brand: Alesis

👤The bass drum started to go out after 2 months after it was bought. My bass drum is the only one that works. I contacted Alesis and they shipped me another pad the same day, but only on the phone for 5 minutes. Customer service is great. I might have got a bad pad. I still like the set, but buyer beware, alesis doesn't have the best triggering system. I love it, it's easy to set up and I love it.

👤I like the kit so far. I've had it for over a year. It's set up almost like my acoustic kit, I added a cymbal and Tom from my old alesis kit, and it plays great with it. I think I might upgrade the cymbals soon as a few of them don't register me grabbing to stop the sound anymore but they still work. The kit has taken a beating and is still rocking.

👤I put my foot down on owning a drum set after we moved into our new home. My husband's dreams can once again be realized after we found this one. It's easier to live with and tune out if he forgets to put the headphones on. Every boy that walks into the house has to play the drums. My sanity has been saved since my husband won't have to listen to my nagging wife. At least with this issue...

👤I liked it at first. The snare Trigger broke. Messed with every setting, but nothing. I tried contacting alesis, but they don't have a phone number. They never have gotten back to me after I tried 3 times. I wouldn't recommend this product solely because of customer support. You will think what I did was a good idea and you will have a useless snare drum that can't be used for anything, if you don't get protection or not.

👤I had a $350 nitro mesh kit for 6 months and no issues. The kick pedal broke within a week. I have to wait weeks for a replacement. What a pain to the ass. I understand that sometimes electronics go out, but what a disappointment. It ruined my hype. If I could play this kit would be amazing. The money and the hassle should be doubled.

👤I have gone through three snares since I bought this. The sensor doesn't pick up hits because they wear down.

👤Excellent price for durable dual-zone 2-ply mesh pads all around, chokeable crash/ride cymbals, great feeling 2-ply mesh kick, solid drum rack, and various other bits and pieces. The pads are all very responsive, thanks to the 4 [toms] or 6 [snare] foam contact points in each pad, as opposed to a singular foam cone right in the center on other manufacturer's kits. Dynamics are great, rim and head zones register hits, and they're quiet. The cymbals are not the strongest point pads. They register hits, dynamics, and chokes very reliably. They're just single zone, but they mean one zone for hits and the other for choke switches, and on the small side. The ride bell or edge doesn't sound out of the box. Otherwise, they're fully functional. The module has a lot of settings and sounds. The built-in sounds can be passed on depending on your circumstance. Many sounds fit the bill if you're just playing for yourself. It's difficult to find and tune sounds that will work well enough for a performance on stage, but it's impossible to blow anyone away. Unless you're going to use the headphones to drum the days away, don't buy it. Don't let that make you feel discouraged. The Command's hits/MIDI info can be piped to your computer with either the traditional or theusb-midI options. There are a number of free and paid options for drum software, including the free MT Power Drum Kit and Steven Slate Drums 5.5. I've upgraded my Command set with 3-ply white heads, a triple zone ride, and a 2-piece hihat and remote/cable pedal for a more natural and traditional hihat experience. I did experiment with a 10"RolandPD-105BK pad that I borrowed from a friend as my snare, and although it worked and triggered great, there was a heckin' hotspot in and around the middle due to the singletrigger cone. I tried to tune it out in settings, but there's no way around it. I went back to the stock Command snare. With minimal changes. You'll be blown away at how amazing this kit feels and sounds for the price--easily rivals the best of the best, but with mid and high-end modules you're not reliant on hooking up to a computer to get amazing sounds. The kit is perfect for the intermediate drummer who wants to practice and enjoy themselves. You can't go wrong!

9. ROLAND Electronic Drum Set TD 1DMK

ROLAND Electronic Drum Set TD 1DMK

The kit includes Kick, Snare, Hi-hat, Hi-hat control pedal, Tom x 3, Crash, Ride, and a drum stand. The kick pedal and personal drum monitor are sold separately. The size includes sound module, kick pad, kick pedal and drum throne. The mesh heads have tension that can be adjusted for a quiet drumming experience. The built-in metronome has settings to help improve timing. There are 256 notes of polyphony. The preset drum kits have authentic, authentic drum sounds.

Brand: Roland

👤The first name in electronic drums is Roland. I owe a lot of drum kits for both acoustic and electronic. I bought this kit because I will be moving into an apartment soon and can't scare my neighbors with my regular acoustic kit. This is the kit to get if you want to cut down on the noise on a budget. The mesh pads have the same feel as a regular acoustic drum kit. The drums are double triggered, which means you can do rim shots and they are sensitive to how hard you hit the drum. The cymbals can be silenced with a hand grab. You might be wondering how a kit for half the price of most of their other sets can be put out. The drums and cymbals are the same quality as the more expensive kits. The drum brain is where they have saved money. It gives you 15 fantastic kit sounds, a metronome, and even some included songs to play along with. You don't get the ability to tune individual drums to a specific pitch or input your own sounds, or add additional drums. These were all good trades to make. I like this kit. I am very happy with this kit. It is portable and rugged. Are there any negatives? I wish it played a little louder from the jack as you can hear the sound of the sticks hitting the pads and cymbals even at the loudest volume setting with headphones on. There are easy work-arounds for this such as a cheap amplifier. The double drum pedal pictured in the photo does not come with the kit. The bass drum pad surface is wide enough to hold a double pedal, which is a huge plus. This is a fantastic electronic kit with an acoustic kit feel that is an incredible value.

👤The kit is presented in a way that makes you believe you are getting two kick pedals. I realized there wasn't even one after I finished assembling. It's rather frustrating. Prepare to get a throne, sticks, keys, and a kick pedal. The ad is not true.

👤I have dealt with Roland for many years and have never had problems with my purchases. I bought a Roland on 4/10/2018. I bought the Assurion insurance and was told by Amazon that I have a 1 year warentee with it. I decided to switch out the hi hat cymbals with one of my crashes to see if the response was different since I started having problems with it. I called Amazon to try to get through to him. They said they couldn't. No one called me back after I left all my info. I called Amazon again to let them know that my ride cymbal was malfunctioning, and then I left a message for both Amazon and myself. There was no response again. I was not going to take the discount offered by Amazon because I bought insurance for cymbals in the first place. I left another message with my information today, which I feel confident that they will not return my call. I am a disabled vet and this is part of my therapy. It makes me angry that I have to play a set that doesn't work correctly and no one wants to make it right. I will trash this thing in the heat of my frustration if something else goes wrong. This shouldn't be a problem with something that was made to be played by all types of drummers. These types of issues should not be seen for 4 months of playing. Thanks to you.

10. DW 2000 Double Bass Pedal

DW 2000 Double Bass Pedal

The single chain cam is very fast. The spring rocker assembly is bearing. There is a dual-Adjustable Toe Clamp. "Flyweight" Beater.

Brand: Drum Workshop, Inc.

👤I bought this pedal in June of last year to upgrade my cheap Pacific double kick pedal. I wanted to wait to use the new pedal until I had a chance to get used to it, as the action on the DW is different than I am used to. I play a lot in the summer. I am not a heavy double kick player and I do not play metal music, but I recently decided to spend 15 minutes a day practicing double kick rudiments with my feet. I have been using the pedal for this purpose. The attached picture shows how many sessions I got through before the pedal broke. For those doing the math at home, that's less than 4 hours of play time for a $200 pedal, which comes out to a little over $50 per hour. I have been practicing at a moderate volume, trying to develop control with my feet. I understand that this is an entry level pedal, but I would expect more from the DW name. My next step is to contact DW to see if they will stand behind this product.

👤I have been using the Iron Cobra double pedal for many years and have always been happy with it. I found the DW 2000 on sale for less than I paid for it, so I picked it up. The DW 2000 is built to a high standard. I put the beaters on it and attached it to my bass drum after pulling it out of the box. There was no need to make a lot of changes. The 2000 DW is my first choice.

👤I bought it for my Alesis Nitro electronic drum set, and it worked just fine until I started having problems with the basstrigger pad. I bought a second basstrigger pad and a Y splitter for the connection and it works great. The double kick pedals worked just fine for me. This is a good set for beginners.

👤I play the guitar and part time drummer. I have the same drumset since 1984. Since I only play drums, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a double pedal. I have seen pedals that go for hundreds of dollars more so I was skeptical of the quality of this pedal. The quality is more than I expected. All parts were intact after it was packed nicely from the factory. They look great from the asthetics. They look more expensive than they were. The metal parts are well constructed and the parts move smoothly. The pedals can be set to either wide or narrow. spurs can be set to keep the pedal from sliding The pedals from the factory have the same tension. The right pedal feels like the left pedal. I have not messed with the tension, but it appears easy to do. The beater heads can be either felt or plastic. I don't think anyone would want to spend a lot more on a set of pedals as they seem really good. I'm not a dedicated drummer so maybe I'm missing something. I'm happy that these do the job well.

👤If you're curious if this kit works as a Midi controller with Apple's GarageBand, it does, which was my primary need for this purchase. When I connected the drums to my MacBook, I was not sure if I needed batteries or if the power came from theusb port. If you are looking to use this in a similar manner, I hope this helps because I couldn't confirm either of the features when researching this and other products similar. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

👤They work well as a "tester" not an actual drummer. Our 16 year old daughter has started playing cymbals in the percussion section of her high school, and she got her start with these. She can practice without everyone being involved by using head phones. She should be able to use them without a plug because we were able to plug theusb into a portable charger. She doesn't have a computer at the moment so we wanted to make sure she could move around with them. I will update the review once she opens them. We think she will be happy.

👤The pads seem to be growing less and less sensitive after a week of use. The pedals stopped working within 48 hours of Christmas. My son is small and has trouble using the pedal. He was sad about that. I haven't submitted a claim through their website because the seller isn't reachable through Amazon, but it would be nice if the foot pedal could be replaced. It's a fun toy, but not thrilled with resilience.

👤I think this set is cool. I like the fact that it is small and easy to store away, but I think it is more like a real set of drums.

👤I thought this should be able to use batteries, like other similar units. It only has an ac outlet and a short plug so it's hard for me. It works well and is loud for a small unit. The short cord makes it hard for kids to use it.

👤I bought this product for my grandson. When he opened the box, he immediately set it up and began playing. The idea of a headphone jack was a great idea. The loud, obnoxious beeping when the volume is turned up or down is the only thing I don't like. This is an alternative to the full sized drum set.

👤My son is on the spectrum. It's great that it doesn't take up a lot of space.

👤Each drum size makes it difficult to use. You have to keep your feet under your feet. I wanted to buy headphones that would not amplify the sound of music. Can't use added music. It is very loud. The purchase was really bad.

👤I wanted to learn how to drum on this before buying an electric drum kit. There is an audio in and out port. You can plug in external speakers to get a better sound and also play music while drumming. I think it's a good toy for its price, but my main gripe is that the bass drum pedal is hard to control, so it's hard to learn beats.
