👤My dog was saved by a collar. I tried to call my dog into the house after a black bear came into our yard. The bear passed us as we ran to the door and my dog chased it. She only wanted the bear, I couldn't call her back. The only thing that stopped her from getting tangled with the Maine black bear was the collar. I took a picture of the bear on my camera. You just need to turn the collar on to connect it and the battery will last a long time. Before using, read the directions and test them. I didn't like the way my dog was treated and now we are both happy and playing in the yard that is her own. She wouldn't come in the house when she was called, so I lowered the perimeter and she came in once it woke up. The neighbor is not showing up with his dog anymore because of the training device. I had to write a review after the bear incident. I took her to my parents beach. I was able to plug the base in so she could swim and play around it. She couldn't go up on the busy street by the house. I took the dog and collar to a friend's house. The collar needs to be reset next to the base. The dogs can play on the same signal if you go.
👤Two years have passed since we got the pet system, and both of our dogs are breaking through the perimeter. We had purchased the PetSafe Stay & Play Wireless Fence for Stubborn Dogs Collar and we fully charged the collar, and I walked up to the perimeter and it told me it was working. My neighbor told me that our dog was hit by a truck and died in the road. My dog died because of a false advertisement.
👤The Giant Schnauzer has the same energy level as the Tasmanian devil and is like the size of a horse. I had to spend the money on this collar after having multiple encounters with our neighbors from her roaming through their garden and playing with their chickens. It was our final option. I wish I would have done it sooner. I started training her for 30 minutes a day. She was on a leash when she wasn't training so she couldn't run outside. I started out with the beeping tone and it didn't seem to bother her. After working with her, I turned the shock level to 2 and then 3. I found that level 4 was perfect for her since she is so stubborn and large. I didn't have to go any higher. She ran back to the house after going past the perimeter a few times. She did not like it. She is acting better now that she won't go close anymore. She is listening and respecting our commands. Positive enforcement is a must while training. No more tension with neighbors and no more stress.
There is 1/2 Acre of circus coverage. The range can cover up to 1/2 acres if the portable indoor transmitter is placed there. There is no wire toBURY. A wireless boundary is a great way to protect your pets without the hassle of burying wires. There is static-free resale. The wireless fence allows your pet to return home without being corrected if they pass the boundary. This portable system is great for camping and vacation homes. The roof is waterproof. The waterproof collar is compatible with all PetSafe Wireless Fence transmitters. Long battery life. The PetSafe RFA-67D-11 battery lasts up to 2 months before the low battery indicator warns you to replace the battery. Your dog's collar setting should be tailored to you. Your pets can stay in the secure play area with a sound only training mode and 5 levels of static on his receiver collar. You can add more than one pet with the addition of unlimited number of collars.
👤The Petsafe Wireless Containment System has been with us for two years. It was purchased on Amazon. We followed the directions as we trained our German Shepherd. Things worked well at first. Our dog knew where she was. The system worked when it was needed, and our dog knew to run back to the house when she went too far. The system became more and more inconsistent as time went on. Consistency is important for German Shepherds. The system would start to shock her when she was inside her zone. Sometimes the system wouldn't shock her when she went beyond her boundary. We tried plugging the transmitter back in. We changed her batteries. We tried to make her circle smaller. It would go back to its old ways eventually. The last straw was today. A man and his dog walked by as I was outside with our German Shepherd. My dog ran to the other dog because the system has been so inconsistent recently. I was able to call her back right away, but I could tell the other dog owner was a little scared. I don't blame him. My dog should have stayed indoors. The system did not work. The collar started zapping my dog as I brought her into the house, safely within the containment system. She is terrified to go into our kitchen and back door after she freaked out. I'm done with this product. I can't recommend it because it works for people who love their pet. It can cause more damage than good. I would like it to work. I wish it fulfilled its promise. I paid for something and wish I got it. I have a dog who gets shocked inside the house, but is safe inside her circle and doesn't get shocked when she goes outside.
👤I followed all the directions to the letter. There are no large metal objects interfering with the transmission at our property. We don't relax when we let her out because there is no signal in certain areas, so we watch her constantly. This is against the purpose. She jumped high in the air when she reached the perimeter when I put it on the lowest setting. It was pretty brutal, I tested it on myself. I wish I could send this back, but first of all, they packaged it so you have to destroy the box to open it. Since we were very motivated to make this work, we hung in there trying different locations and settings, but it is past the return date. If you're lucky enough to get a functioning unit, this is a good price.
👤This thing is priceless to me, and I wish I had known that there was a wireless fence system that you didn't have to tear up your yard to use, because it could have saved me and my family from some serious heartbreak. We had two husky babies that we adopted from our local shelters and one of them was a wanderer, the other was a 6 month old male. One day he was outside playing with my husband and kids while they were washing the car and was killed by a truck not more than 100 yards from our house. I cried and my kids cried. It was one of my favorite purchases I've ever made for our family members, and I invested in it literally the next day. You can set the range to fit your yard and keep your family safe. My husky is a stubborn girl and it only took 2 times to shock her into realizing she didn't like that one bit. It felt like a shock when I tested it on myself. My girl has long hair and it just annoyed her more than anything. It was effective and did its job perfectly. She's not afraid to leave the yard on a leash, she knows if my husband or I are going to take her out of the yard, her collar is off. She's allowed to cross the boundary for a walk. Love it. It took about 15 minutes to set the entire thing up and 3 days for my dog to be completely trained, I wish I had heard of it sooner. I said it was a lifesaver.
The system is suitable for 2 dogs. Plugging in a Transmitter and connecting to Receivers without digging and burying wires is all it takes to create a dog park. When dogs jump over the boundaries, the training mode will start. The waterproof COLLAR is 100%. Petsfun's Collar Receiver is water resistant, which means your dog can get wet in the grass, or play in the rain. TheRADIUS is up to 984 feet. Petsfun's Wireless Electric Containment System will create a boundary with 16 levels to set up a large safe and free zone for your dogs to play in. For all dog sizes. The receiver collar has a high capacity battery. Extra-large, Large, Medium, and Small Breed dogs can use the collar. It can be used for the dog neck from 7 to 26 inches. Stable and safe. The signal transmission is more stable and accurate with the advanced 433 Hz Frequency Technology. The dog receiver collar is easy to set up. The receiver is powered by static electricity and has a voltage of 3.7V. Their dog fence is not harmful to their family members.
👤I wish I had found this a year ago. A great dog fence system. It works as described. I was worried because we moved to a new house with no fence and I have a high-energy boxer mix. I read the reviews before I install or train. The fence took me a few hours to set up, I set the receiver and measured the boundary holding a collar. It only took a couple of times going beyond the boundary for them to figure it out. We are on our third day of training and I take them outside 3-4 times a day and walk the boundary to praise them. They are a little freaked out after being shocked a couple of times, but I've been feeding them cheese while we are outside and they seem happy and stick close to me. I hope they will relax a bit more when in the yard. I don't have to mess with leashes when I take them out to do their business. I said "no" loudly and my big dog stopped short of the flags without getting shocked after he barked at his neighbor. I'm very happy with the dog fence system.
👤I have never bought a wireless dog fence system. We used to have an electronic dog fence system that was cheaper than this one. My baby is too smart to keep by a piece of Boundary wire. She learned that crossing the boundary wire by a fast speed will not cause her to be pulished but will allow her to avoid a lot of shocks. The dog fence system was useless to her. She will be pulished when she closes to the boundary and crosses over. She can't run away. Having my baby run away and have an incident is not a good thing.
👤Our dogs, one a mixed breed and the other a rottie, would always run when we let them out. The mutt would chase animals and the other would just like to explore. We love to let our dogs out to get fresh air and do their business in our neighborhood. The first night I showed them the perimeter. They understood their boundaries. I had to reset it for some reason because it was hard to set it up at the beginning. Everything was set to normal after I reset their collars. It is one of the best investments I have made.
👤I bought this unit for my golden retriever. I don't want to fence the 1 acres on the edge of town. I couldn't get him to show them the flags and the collar when on learn mode. It sat for a while because I couldn't get anyone to help train them. I said to let the dogs figure it out and put the collars on the first position that shocks them. It works great after they did it. I use it for a while and my dogs don't run off when I put on the collar, they are not scared of it. They love the freedom. This product is recommended by me.
The kit can be expanded to cover 100 acres with more wire and flags. The collar has two-hour quick charge and one to two month battery life. The technology of the dryer. Contain an unlimited number of dogs with more than one collar. And up. Tone and vibration are given by the collar before moving to one of seven static stimulation levels.
👤Don't expect the dog to learn on their own. The dog will learn quickly if you put it on a fence. If you put it in the yard, it's confusing to the dogs and they might not use the full area. Don't use 24/7. Instructions say to not use more than 12 hours a day. If you don't take these off, the dog's neck will get sores and you'll be out of use until they heal. We know from experience. We try to give them more nights without them than with them, but we don't always take them off at night. They get a break. I'm sure they don't land on the same spot when we put them back on. Our dogs come into the garage at night. If you use a shock collar, I recommend you consider the same plan. There are many settings. If you don't know how to use these, you may return them thinking they don't work. How to turn them on, how to set the shock intensity, and how to set the boundary space are some of the things to learn. Depending on your yard size and dog attitude, you'll want to find the right setting for those things. When I need to charge it, I like the flashing green light and red light. The batteries last a long time. We're very happy with our purchase. We have two big dogs that work great at less than 12 the intensity. If you get these, read the instructions and start at the lowest level. My dog jumps up in the air and barks at level 4. Don't assume your dog needs full intensity, it's not the highest setting. These are great. The older version is better for size and functions, but they are smaller.
👤An 18 month old Doberman requires a lot of exercise. It has been a challenge to prevent him from disappearing into the woods. We take him to the dog park to blow off steam, but that's not always an option. We'd like to provide him with a lot of free space, but it's expensive. I ordered this product after researching the invisible fence. Installation was easy. The yard is large and surrounded by woods. We used up all the wiring. I picked up another 500' of invisible fence wire from the store. We looped 1500 feet of wire around the yard. We had a crack running across the driveway at around the halfway point between the house and the road that we filled with driveway repair goop. I used the edger attachment on my weed whacker to cut trenches and bury the wire in the rest of the yard. We used landscaping staple to secure the wire under the bushes and around the perimeter. Nature should do the rest. I used a drill to twist the wires that cross through the containment area and put them in the garage. The collar was set to be triggered by the transmitter at 5' away from the wire. The collar is set to the lowest level, which my wife and I tried on our arms to see what it felt like. It was time to train after everything was tested. We walked the dog around the perimeter. We would stop at random flags and say "no!", walk past them and then walk close enough to the wire to cause the static. That's all it took. I thought we'd be following the training guide for a month but he won't go near any of the flags if he's chasing birds, rabbits, balls, the kids or our other dog. He's on a leash. We get close to the flags and he stops and lays down. We couldn't recommend this more because it's a game-changer for us and our active boy.
500' of heavy duty AWG boundary wire, 50' of 16 AWG twisted wire, 50 flags, 2 splices, and a battery are included. The collar has 7 different correction levels, as well as a training level. The strap can be adjusted to fit different neck sizes. The signal field will be as low as 6 inches or as high as 10 feet, which is emitted from your boundary wire. This kit will provide coverage for up to 1/3 acre, with 500' of included heavy duty boundary wire and 50' of 16 gauge twisted wire. The USA manufactured electric dog fence has 7 days of American support per week. There are 40 page setup/training manual and instructional videos on the manufacturer website. 10 years warranty.
👤I decided on this system after a lot of research. I've had other companies that had great molded rechargeable collars, but they were purchased by a competitor and then discontinued, so back to expensive replacement batteries. The fold-out installation sheet is not comprehensive enough for the two dog collar which you must train. My dogs were already trained to our previous dog containment system so no training was needed, but my older dog is always alert, even though she is near the fence. The battery on her collar is dead and it costs $10 to replace. The wire seems to be a better gauge than my last one and we will use it to slowly rewire our one-acre lot. The user's guide has become a standard for many electronic products. The collar is light and comfortable for my dogs. Customer service was great at resolving my problem. The fabric collar is hard to adjust in size and the dog smell is quick. The battery life is not long. YIKES! I miss the batteries from my previous system. The sheet that comes with the system says it's easy to train the collars. I need to read the online owner's manual to get more information. I would like to see a green flash to let you know that the collar is not dead. I wish I'd read more reviews before I spent the money on the complete system. It's too soon to know if this system is better than the competitors. I will update this soon. I was told to watch the video online on how to program the collar after a pleasant call from customer service. I followed the instructions the same way I alwaysTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkia I have a hard time hearing the tones because they are so quiet. A shock would help contain her. She is standing over the fence wire. My dogs grew up with other pet fencing, so this isn't a training issue. I don't think I need an engineering degree to program a collar. The other dog and collar are working normally. Customer service is willing to send another collar for a dog.
👤The documentation is not good. The install guide that comes with the kit is light on information and the manual on the manufacturer's website is not very detailed. I didn't think the kit's connectors held the wire. If you have the 14 gauge wire. I used different types of splice connections. One collar acted weird from the first day and my dog didn't seem to react as though she'd been shocked, even though I had programmed it to do certain things. After about 2 months of use, the collar is showing that a new battery is needed. The other collar worked well until the shock element fell out of it. I thought I was being smart by paying more for higher quality goods, but now I wish I had bought a cheap unit.
👤The pros are 1. The package was in great condition when I received it. It was contained in one box and came in 5 smaller boxes. The packaging was easy to unbox and neat. 2. I was able to train both of my dogs within about two weeks of one on one training, even though I accidentally let my dog get shocked before she understood what the training was all about, which made her a little scared to be. 3. Customer service was very responsive when I had to call them for some additional training tips to make sure I got the most out of it. The cons are 1. The system's instructions are not very clear. It took a lot of studying and online searching to make sure I was doing it correctly. The only piece of paper that contained instructions on how to get the system working was the one that was provided. 2. The system only came with a few lawn staple and I recommend buying more so that you don't have to stop instillation while you order more. The flags are the same. They are the most important part of the training and you need to order them. 3. The control box is one of my biggest issues. The wires that you have to insert into the surge protectors do not seat well. If you want your dog's safety to depend on them staying in with cheaply made fasteners, I recommend soldering them into place. I had to jury rig the power source that runs from the control box to the surge protectors so that it doesn't get damaged. I'm not sure why the company hasn't done anything to address this yet, I've seen many other reviews that cover this. 4. One of the two collars that came with the system for my two dogs was shocking the dog when she was inside the house and away from the wire. The first thing customer service said when I contacted them was that the dogs should not be wearing the collar. If they get out, it doesn't matter if you have a fence in the first place. I was denied a replacement collar. 5. The collars that are provided are cheap and do not have an attachment to put the dog's ID tags on. The batteries last a long time, and the receiver that is on the collar seems to be sturdy. The system is only half the price of having a commercial company install it for you. I feel like my dogs are well trained and ready to go.
The eXtreme Dog Fence Max Wire is a 14 gauge wire with a full 60 mil high density polyethylene jacket for Max Performance and Max Life. 2000 Continuous Feet: Enough Underground Dog Fence Wire to cover up to 4 acres and can be buried, run above ground and secured with yard supplies. All Electric Dog Fence Systems are compatible with the wire component of an In-Ground Dog Fence. Don't let your wire be your problem. Go for it. The eXtreme Dog Fence MAX wire is also designed for other low-voltage outdoor applications. The eXtreme Dog Fence Wire is made in the U.S.A. and is proud of its American craftsmanship.
👤The thin stock wire broke over a dozen times within the year and I bought this to use for a robot mower boundary wire. I bought a radio wire finder tool to locate the breaks when the old wire broke. I replaced all of the wire with the max wire. It was staked down to the grass. It has held up well to the sun, extreme heat, and the light construction traffic needed to build a shed. There were no breaks in the 480 feet of wire. I didn't hesitate to purchase the same wire again because I needed another roll of wire to surround the shed.
👤I used 2000 feet of this wire. I was looking for a wire that could carry a strong signal. This wire does something. I had to keep the wire in the transmitter. The wire would slide out of the slot. It has been ok for several days after catching hold. I can either roughen the wires or file them down if necessary. I paid different prices per foot for each order I placed. 14 gauge wire is more expensive than the 18-20 gauge that comes with a kit and is more likely to break than the 18-20 gauge that is sold at most stores. I will not be frustrated by searching hours for breaks. The wire is thick enough to hold up in a fire. I am looking forward to the silence of the fence alarm on a cold, rainy day after my installation.
👤It is heavy. The wire is well constructed and won't break easily like the 20g wire I originally installed. You get what you pay for, even though you were Hated to shell out the bucks. It works perfectly with my fence transmitter. The field can be raised as you please. I like yellow color because it makes it easy to see wire when checking for a break since I lay most of it on open ground. I use horse shoe nails to tack on the occasional tree so it is easy to see when it is covered with leaves. Nature covers it for me, so let it lie on the ground. Great product.
👤This wire was installed for my dog's invisible fence system. The copper wire is of great quality. A few days after burying this wire, we had a large Duke Power truck service one of the poles on our property. Everything was turning to mud because of the rain. The power truck's tires sunk past the wire, but they didn't damage it. If I had used the tiny wire that comes with the fence kits, my invisible fence would have snapped. This product gives you a feeling that it will last a long time, justifying the extra expense.
👤If you want to save yourself some headaches, buy this wire first with your underground fencing system. We bought 20 gauge wire for our system. It worked for a month and then broke underground. It was easy to install and works amazingly well if you go deeper into the ground with it. I would have liked to have gotten this to start with and not have to install it again.
There are some things that areSPECS. This option is for a 500 foot continuous Spool of 18 gauge wire with a heavy duty core. This wire is not the same grade as the one you will find at a building supply store. This wire is resistant to the sun's rays. It is designed to perform in the elements and provide years of solid reliability. Most of their wire will last longer than your pet. It'sTILE: The Heavy Duty Core Wire Spools can also be used in Irrigation Applications, Low Voltage Lighting, and any other scenario. All of the eXtreme Dog Fence Brand Wire is made in the U.S.A., so you know you can rely on it for a long time.
👤Our farm in rural Clackamas County, Oregon, has about 20 acres of fenced perimeter and we have livestock guardian dogs. The wire was clipped to the tee posts used for livestock fencing. The product has been very durable. Not a single line broke after trees fell across the field fencing and snapped strands of barbed wire. During the Beachie Creek fire, the insulation melted in some areas but the wire remained functional. We have tried lighter gauge dog fencing but they have not stood up to the weather and other environmental conditions associated with an upland farm, and have required lot's of splicing to keep those sections functional. We replaced the lighter gauge wire in the fence perimeter with a 2000' spool of Extreme Dog Fence 18 gauge. We didn't save any money buying the less expensive products. "Why settle for the get-by when in the long run the good cost less?" was the advice that was once given by the man. This is a good product. Highly recommended for farm use. The seller shipped the order immediately after it was processed. The delivery estimate was not met by the spool.
👤It was used for my boundary wire. The wire was nicer than the landroid. I got the 500 ft because I didn't know how much I would need and have extra in case the line breaks.
👤I used this to re-wire my mower. The braided wire broke in the ground around the perimeter of my yard. The wire is non-braided and should hold up over time.
👤I needed more wire to complete the job. It is much cheaper than anything else I have found. Good quality too!
👤The cable internet guys clipped the wire several times and patches were failing. The wire made installation easy and cheap. If using a spade to trench in the line, make sure the ground is moist. The new line on zone ends works well.
👤I used this for my lawnmower perimeter cable. Works great so far.
👤This wire was used for ground radials. The wire was designed to be exposed to the elements.
👤Excellent insulation, quality wire.
The dog fence bundle includes a collar for two pets. 500 feet of wire is included. For large or stubborn dogs, there are 5 levels of intense correction. Includes 2 waterproof receivers, 500 feet of wire, 50 boundary flags, and a DVD.
👤If you've never used a restraint system before, please understand that it's not a training system at all. It takes a few weeks of work to teach your dog to respect the boundaries you have set for them, but with a little work they will and you will want one at every house you live in the rest of your life. If you have a large yard, renting a large edger is a better option than burry the wire with an edger. The indoor equipment is easy to install and the instructions are concise. Remember that your dog will likely stay several feet back from the line so keep this in mind when placing. If you want to train your dog, lay out the warning flags and leash walk for a week, then pull them back with a verbal warning and give them lots of reinforcement when they come back to the yard. The idea is to convince the dog that there is danger out there and make them want to stay within the limits, show them love and praise for coming back close to the house. I like to do this without the collar on the dog, after a week or so, I will hold the collar in my hand and let them hear the warning beeps, then I call them back inside the line and give them praise. Depending on how well your dog learns the training, it can be a tedious process. It will take time but they will learn once you start having the dog wear the collar and they get shocked for the first time. After a few weeks the flags are taken down as the dog knows not to challenge the line. This system will work every time if you follow the directions, follow the training steps and take the time to read them. I have seen my dog staring at people and other dogs and he won't cross that line. This system has helped him define the limits of his territory, even when I forget to put the collar on, and that makes him happier.
👤Rented a commercial edger and it was easy to use. Without it, it would have been a pain. It made the process a little more difficult because of the brittle nature of wire. It is awesome. I let my dogs feel the shock a few times and they will not run at people anymore. I have a French mastiff and a Great Danes, both of which stay on level 2.
👤Finally! A solution to keep the crazy dogs out of the house. They were leaving quickly every day. It's so annoying. We installed this along the bottom rail of the fence and they are doing well. We ordered upgraded 14 gauge wire. I didn't pay attention to the fact that it said solid core. We got twisted but used it. Hopefully the line lasts and the animals don't chew on the places we buried it. The fence changed our lives. You might think it's cruel. They were put on 4 and set loose to learn the hard way. There is a fence already up. They went straight for the fence after we let them out. After jumping back a few feet, I lay on the deck and chilled out for the first time in a long time. We showed them that it was safe for most of the yard, even though they were hesitant to go out again. Don't approach the fence or POW! They learn quickly. The 2 year old opened the front door and ran through the shock zone without looking back. When they were caught, we walked them back quickly. They were instantly fine after minor yelping. They were only on level 3 for correction. 3 is enough to get the attention of a strong stubborn dog. I'm not sure 5 is enough for our mutts if there was no fence. They need training again. We are very happy so far, because all this fixed our issue.

👤The Extreme Dog Fence system took about 4 hours to install, but I am happy with the results for my mastiff. I was a little worried about the training, and made several calls for reassurance to the manufacturer, who I must say was absolutely amazing, even answering the phone on a Sunday and showing a lot of patience, and Johnny Allen who gave me amazing advice and instructions. It took about 10 minutes for him to understand the dog fence flags and Johnny told me not to let him off the leash until he was conditioned. We now let Brutus out for 4 to 5 hours a day, and he likes to chase squirrels, he is a big dog, and it is nice to see him lying in the sun and enjoying life. Many of my friends told me that it was cruel to leave a dog chained up in the house all day and that the electric dog fence was cruel. I have dealt with customer support overseas, where I spend a lot of time on the phone and rarely get my problem solved, and I feel less confident with the support I am given. It was refreshing to get American based customer support and an American made product. I researched many different products on the internet but chose extreme because of the reviews I found and the company who would support me during the selection, installation, training and long term support. I am confident that this won't be an issue, because I have received a high level of service so far. There are some highlights from my experience. Customer service and support are outstanding. Product 3 was very well made. 7 days a week phone support. I can honestly say that I don't know how I lived without this system after using it. My friends will be told about my experience. Team Extreme...you guys are awesome. The family is called the Blanchards.
👤When shopping for a product on Amazon, I rely on customers' reviews. The company will give a 1-year free supply of batteries to customers if they get a 5 star review. That may explain the high rating this product is receiving. This product is not more effective than the PetSafe invisible fence and is more expensive than other products. I bought dog leashes for my dogs. I could not use the collar to train my dog. I did not receive the promised number of flags. The size of the batteries is not standard, so you need to buy them from the company for twice the price of similar batteries. The batteries are always used even when the system is not connected to the electricity because the collar does not have a switch on/off. Everything else is similar to PetSafe and not unique to this company. The product keeps my dogs within the parameters. The company and customers who accepted the bribe were dishonest.
👤I did a lot of research before making a decision. My German Shephard mix is a very smart dog and she was able to get underneath the chain link fence and visit the neighbors at our new house. The chain link fence was never going to cut it with a houdini dog, so I decided to purchase a better deterrent. I chose this brand because of: 1. The price was competitive. 2. The thicker wire and lightening protectors were included instead of the nickel-and-diming ones. 3. The strength of the correction on the collar is very strong. 4. It was very convenient to have twisted wire. I was surprised at how easy it was to set it up. I separated the front and back yards by running it along the bottom of the chain link fence. This resulted in a slightly wider boundary from the fence than the rest of the yard, which did not bother me because this was the section of fence my dog kept digging under and pushing up. The programming was easy to understand and the electronics were easy to set up. My houdini dog has not escaped the yard since I installed this system a month ago. I was impressed by the company that called and followed me to see how the installation went. Great customer service.
PetSafe Wireless Pet Containment System PIF-300 is a 3-dog system. The package has a wireless fence transmitter and receiver collar. It is designed for dogs over 8 pounds. The neck sizes are 6-28 inches. There are 5 levels of static correction. After 30 seconds, the correction stops. Tone-only mode is used to alert your pet. It covers an area up to 1/2 acre. The receiver collar is waterproof.
👤Completely satisfied! We have three dogs, a 150 lbs Cane Corso, a 15 lbs rescued rat terrier, and a 10 lbs somethin that was dumped out here. We live across from a river in a neighborhood where everyone lets their animals roam. The dogs were running after people, cars, other animals, starting trouble, and we have had a dog die and a dog hit. It came in time. It was expensive for our budget, but we are glad we took a chance. It was easy to set up and the correction was effective. They understood within the day. We had a few instances of them brazenly running through the barrier when we would come back from a walk, but we increased the correction one level and it hasn't happened again. They do not chase cars, bunnies, neighbors, other dogs, or us. They haven't worn their collars in a while and they haven't run in a while. Our sanity was saved by this system. 10 stars!
👤I've never made an investment like this before. 3 very stubborn dogs were trained in a few hours. Even though our yard is full of slopes, it works great.
👤My dog ran to the neighbor's side yard after I put the parameter to large. The dog gets shocked walking inside the house if you put it too small. It is a circle around the entire home. Installation of invisible fence main brand is more expensive. The product is made by an invisible fence.
👤I paid a lot for 3 receivers. The dogs only wear them when outside. Two of the three receivers no longer work. I bought a pack of batteries. The light is off on two of the 3 collars. I have to spend another 300 to buy two new collars. It is rediculous. It should last at least three months.
👤I received the product and realized the extra batteries were missing, I have 3 dogs on the system, 1 large dog and 2 large puppies and they have done very well.
👤This is the best invention ever for pet owners. My three large dogs are staying in the yard. They have more freedom than in the kennels. It's easy to use and I like it.
👤Excellent product. When the dog is near the boundary line, the collar will sound. The dog will retreat until the collar stops. I was amazed at how well it works. The collar battery seems to last a while before it needs to be replaced.
👤This is what we needed for our dogs. The dogs kept running after us when we moved into a neighborhood without a fence. Even with the collars off, the shock makes them not want to cross the boundary line.
WIRELESS BOUNDARY Creating a dog park and keeping your dogs out of your yard is easy with the Focuser Wireless Dog Fence System. Most sizes of dogs are supported by the focuser receiver collar. The Focuser Wireless Electric Containment System will create a Boundary with different levels. There are 25 to 500 meters. The collar is waterproof and recharged. The receiver collar has a built-in battery. This water-resistant collar receiver is rated at 67, which means your dog can get wet in the grass, mess with the sprinkler or play in the rain. Four levels of correction are used in the design of theFOCUSER wireless dog fence. You can adjust the levels according to your needs. There is no more over-correction for small puppies. The built-in safety chip prevents the Over-Correction to your dog and the backup battery from being lost. A wireless dog fence will allow you to keep your dog in the yard.
👤The fence works well. I put it on the wall in the backyard. Our dog enjoys most of the land in the back yard. We had to get an electric fence because he kept digging under our fence. The dog is supposed to be trained to come back from the collar. We let our dog get shocked once and he knows the means come back or else. The boundary has kept me from running through my neighbors' yards at night. 5 stars.
👤It was easy to set up by following the User manual. I set the receiver and measured the perimeter with a collar. When my dog approached the orange flags, I took him outside without leashes and said "no" loudly. He only had to go beyond the boundary once or twice. The most important thing to remember is to turn on the transmitter. I turned on the collar and it began to sound, then it shocked my hand. It was so awkward. After a few hours of training our 8-month-old dog, he was able to learn his boundaries in less than 48 hours and was able to remove the flags a few days later. We made this purchase to keep him out of harms way.
👤I have tried a lot of pet containments. I can't stay at my home for so long with my dogs because I work on the weekends. I tried to build a woolen fence around my yard. They dug down under the fence and fled to my neighbor. I can't bother my neighbor again because I was so upset with the fence. I tried the wireless containment for the first time, but it was not compatible with this system. That was not desirable since the collar was so hard that it pulled off the hair around kiki's neck. I am so sorry that I didn't notice it. I picked this containment system after it went through so many products. The training was long but they will return to the safe zone as long as they are near the fence.
👤My dog is protected from running into traffic. If my dog walks on the busy road to the left of my house, it will be very dangerous. I bought a traditional fence to keep my dog away from the road. It cost me a lot of money and time to put it together. I found my dog could jump over the fence with its growth. The fence was 5 feet. It was hit by the top of the fence when crossing it. I decided to try this product under the recommendation of my friends. This product was easy to set up and I only needed to follow the instructions to chasten my dog. My dog quickly learned what shocks mean. The problem was solved by my dog not crossing the flags.
👤The waterproof function is really good. I built a small swimming pool for myself and my dog at the corner of my yard. During the hot days, Coco likes to play balls in the pool. I like to read near the pool after swimming for one hour or less. The products that I bought before they failed to support my interest and the most durable one just lasted 1moth. The most durable one is this one.
