The Cabinet Gas Grill has a 2-burner, 24,000-BTU capacity. 300 square inches of primary cooking is done on cast iron grates and 100 square inch swing-away rack. The UFC has a lid with a temperature gauge for added heat control. The cooking system is continental. Fast and reliable startup ignition is electronic. Side shelves fold down when not in use. Convenient access storage to hold propane tank and accessories. The grill is on 4 caster wheels, two of which lock for mobility and stability. Weight: 82.50 lbs
👤A friend once told me that I end up using what I have because I already have it. I had an old BBQ that I suffered with for many, many years. I decided it was time for a new Q because the burner was shooting two feet high on one side. Why did I wait so long to get this new thing? The grill is 18 x 16 inches, just right for us. If we have people over, I can still make eight or ten patties. The cast grill is very even heat, so no raw meat in one corner, a charred briquette on the other, like the wire grill on the old BBQ. It rusted up every six months. The grill and related parts are below the burner tubes. I don't think I will see rust on this barbecue. A push of the lighter button makes the light go on instantly. I was expecting a snap type Piezoelectric lighter, but this one uses aAAA battery that machine-gun snaps while you hold the button, and when you hear the whoomp of the burners, you just let go of it. The top has a heat shield. If you accidentally lay a hand on it, you won't get an instant burn. That's a big plus. I was surprised at how easy it was. I had everything I needed, but only a #2Phillips. Most places use nut-serts, and everything lines up correctly. A certain brand of flat-pack furniture always seems to have no half-moon holes when assembling. The hardware is on a piece of cardboard and labeled. There are four screws in a blister Pod if you need them in a certain step. Do you need eight? You just cut open the one you need at a time, because there's eight in their Pod.
👤So far, so good. We grill on this thing a lot. We love how small it is and how easy it is to maintain. People complained about how hard it was to clean. Things are going to stick if you get food on the grate. It is time to cook. To prevent this, oil the grate with vegetable oil. The grill doesn't seem to get super hot like some fancy grills, and this may be our fault. It doesn't char things well. Pack lava rocks around the burners to increase the heat. Search it. The more we use the grill, the more we learn how to cook. I don't know, we're the type of people that don't really care for the fancy grills, so this works well for us.
👤There is tons of space for a tri-tip on the grill. Needed a small grill for a first house and never really needed all the space of a three or four burner. The Cast Iron grills and cabinet hide the propane bottle and store accessories. I have used it for a few months and cooked it a lot, it heats up quickly and stays consistent. There's nothing I'd change about the grill. If you want to cure the cast iron grills, make sure you cook something really fat the first time you use it, because the cast iron grills can stick. I got a grill cover to keep it clean and prevent it from being peed on by the cats. The grill has been great for five years. It's been the perfect little grill, and there's not much more to say. The body is strong. The grill has been used a lot and has received a lot of food. The burners need to be replaced but that's normal maintenance. Everything else is working well. If I took better care of it, the grate and burners would probably be alright, but being what it is, it needs a lot of work. It's easy to replace parts for it.
Road worthy and easy to travel on. The cast aluminum firebox and lid has a temp gauge. The frame has legs and carry handles. There was no flare-up of the TRU-Infrared cooking system. 200 square inch grilling grate.
👤If you don't add the valve you will ruin the grill. I could not get the temp to go under 450. I called Char Broil and was told to only cook hamburgers on the grill. It's ridiculous. Not an acceptable answer. I read a lot as I considered another grill. The review was read by me. I had to get 2 brass adapters after buying the control valve. Less than $20 I can turn the grill down for steaks and chicken. You will need to do a soapy water test for leaks. Very easy stuff. The new valve is available on Amazon. It's intended for use in propane grills so you don't have to worry about it being questionable. A lot of the smaller grills have the same issue. I like the features of this grill. It's worth the fix.
👤If you have read the reviews, you will know that it is too hot. If you read the Sept. 8th review that recommends the Bayou classic control, you will agree. You can cook moist chicken breasts and perfect slow cooked ribs with this valve because you can reduce the temp to whatever you want. If you spend $20 more on this valve, you will be happy with it.
👤I am pretty happy with this grill and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a little upkeep. Read on for more details. The grill is good and I want it in a grill. I have a grill from Charboil that has 4 burner flames. It was difficult to cook for 2 people in a multi-floor home, so I had to use the big grill downstairs. I can't remember a time when I didn't wait for the big boy to heat up to 500 to grill. I don't slow down on the grill. I would use the oven or smoker. When I grill, I want the sear marks to be nice. I would just bake my food. When it came to heat, I saw that this grill was on steroids. I did some tests after buying a Mr. Heater aftermarket regulator. The grill got to 600 in about 7 minutes with the original regulator. That is a bit much. It took a long time, reaching about 500 degrees on low. That was better than the others. When I cook food on the grill on low, I noticed it stayed around 450, which is fine for chicken and pork chops. I got to 600 in less than 9 minutes. I used a skirt steak for Asada taco. You can see that the grill did a great job of getting the char ans flavor on the outside, but you can't see that it kept a gorgeous medium rare on the inside. This is not a 2 inch steak. It is a thin piece of meat. That is awesome! The bad news is that I am not crazy about the so-called grate. It is the lowest grade there is. After the first cook, I accidentally left a little meat juice on the grate. It showed signs of rust the next day. It was cleaned off and re-seasoned. I keep the heat on high for a few minutes after I finish cooking to make sure the grate is burned off, and to maintain it like a cast iron skillet. After you have burned off the residual, add a little coconut oil or canola oil to it. There are other comments on the grease holes in the grate. I have a better grill brush that I use after cooking, but I have to take the grate out and give it a wash, because about 3-4 cooks are in. The lowest maintenance compared to porcelain coated cast iron grates was not terrible. I had to get a maintenance routine for the grill and an aftermarket regulator. I am ok with that. It is a great grill for my balcony, it is very fast and it gets a good sear on my meats. I would buy it again. It was finally made with chicken wings and chicken breasts. I was able to make some delicious chicken with the help of the aftermarket regulator. This has the ability to do chicken breasts right, and the power to do mad-sear steaks. Ps. I put a few chips on the grill to get a nice smokey flavor to the chicken. It was great!
Extra storage and prep space can be found on metal side shelves. For increased style andDurability, there is an exclusivestainless steel finish. TRU-Infrared cooking technology cooks food juicier and prevents flare-ups. The primary cooking space is 450 square inches. The porcelain-coated grates are easy to clean. Reliable push-to-start electronic ignition and swing-a-way warming rack.
👤Some Char-Broil grill models have a Tru-Infared element that is a single sheet below the grilling surface. The grilling surface on my grill has Tru-Infared elements. Cleaning is more difficult when the Tru-Infared element is attached to the grilling surface.
👤This grill is great. The box has straps around it so that it can be easily carried. I had no problem putting it together myself because of the ease and time it took. I was surprised at how hot the grill got after I connected the propane tank. After a short preheat on high, the temperature gauge said 650-degrees. This grill is perfect for our family of four. I easily fit 7 burgers, 5 brats, and 4 big ears of corn on the grill with my friends over the weekend. The cooking grate on this grill is really cool. There are small holes in the grate, but flames can't come up above them. Every time grease drips from the food, it sizzles and smokes on the grill grate. I think this is a cool feature. Food was great. Did chicken breasts. They were really juicy. A great grill.
👤Worst grill ever! There is a The food tastes like it's been cooked indoors. The grill needs to be cleaned and seasoning every time it is used. I hate it!
👤I received the grill on Wednesday after ordering it on Monday. The assembly took 30 minutes and there were no issues. The grill cooks great. I am very impressed with my first grill. I don't have to worry about burning the food because there is no way for the flames to get to what I am cooking because the grill temperature is so hot. If you follow the instructions you can clean up easily. This grill is very good.
👤The rusty grill is 12 years old and needs to be replaced. I did the research. It is awesome. It arrived in time for Memorial Day. I didn't expect it to be easy. I don't have a problem with the model not having an enclosed lower area. This has been a pleasure to grill with. Steaks, salmon, mahi mahi, burgers, brats, baby back ribs, and pineapple wedges on top grid with no problems controlling the heat, are just some of the items on the menu. I'm sold on the fact that it allows better grilling control and it's easy to clean up. The provided scrapper was used to clean the grill groves and then wipe them clean with paper towels before turning the heat on. Great grill!
👤It was easy to assemble. I liked that the connections were sealed separately. I lost one of the washers trying to attach the handle. They fell inside the lid, which was made of metal and was difficult to remove. I went to my local hardware store to get a new set of screws and washers for a dollar. The nut found a way to recover the lost screws and washers after I got the handle attached. The instructions are good. The grill lit perfectly once assembled, and has continued to do so. The grill works as described. I'm hoping it will last a long time, though I would buy again.
There is a 3-year limited warranty. The small size is 120 Volt. The carrying handle is 17 pounds. It's great for family meALS. Cooks 8 burgers, 8 steaks, 6 to 10 chicken breasts, or 4 pounds of fish at once. TELESCOPING STAND: The portable electric grill has a grilling area of 145 square inches. PowerfulRILL: The burner and grill grate are porcelain-enameled. Plugs into standard electric outlet; stand sets up and leaves in seconds. A spill resistant tray is included. There are ships ready to go. There is no assembly required. A portable grill with a grilling area and stand.
👤This item is not what it is described to be. The steaks were not as hot as advertised. It's impossible to clean because we don't have a screw driver big enough to remove the big Phillip's screws and there are no wing nuts. This item is not what we were expecting.
👤This grill has been used 6 or 8 times and we love it. It maintains a set temperature according to where you set the dial. The light goes off and on. MAX is where we usually leave ours. It gets ready when you preheat on MAX for about 5 minutes. There are great hot dogs and hamburgers. Sear marks are there for us. I allow ours to burn off on MAX. I use crumpled aluminum foil to clean the grate. Follow up with a paper towel. I use a grill brush to clean the bowl. The burner needs to be removed by removing the 2 screws. After removing the grease cup, I use a small brush to sweep the drippings to the grease catcher hole. We use ours on a carpeted patio, so we never use it when it's wet. Grease will catch fire if it is excessive. Always keep the unit in view. It's important to sprinkle seasoning on meat. I'll buy a new one if the control quits working.
👤This was the perfect solution for having fun at the BBQ this summer. Not allowed to have non electric grills on high rise terraces so we can now have a burger, hot dog or anything grilled to perfection on this wonderful grill. It's small enough for my terrace to hold enough surface space to make dinner for four. The clean up is easy because I didn't have any trouble putting it in place. I have a lot of cuisinart products, but this is my favorite.
👤I like the way it folds up and can be tucked away after use. The small pan didn't cause any problems for me. The grill doesn't get hot enough to sear a steak, which is what you want to keep in the juices, and I have only used it twice. I haven't cooked chicken or burgers on it yet, but the two steaks I did cook needed to be finished in my oven as it was taking way too long. It's not a bad grill if you can't have a gas grill, but I didn't give it four or more stars as of right now. I wish I went with the gas version of the appliance because I think it's made by Cuisinart. It's not a bad grill, but I would stick with gas/propane as electric just can't compete for cooking temparatures.
👤The legs did not extend as depicted, so I only gave it 3 stars. Maybe I ordered a different version from the pictures? The versastand model was selected to get a standing grilling height. The legs are only half as long as depicted. The lower half of silver is not on my grill. The grill is about knee-high for me. I am not happy. It cooks well and is a great option for a beach rental, as well as a townhome grilling experience. I ordered the portable stand from Cuisinart. I got the height by spending an extra $75.
Reliable push-to-start electronic ignition and swing-a-way warming rack. Your purchase includes one Char-broil Performance Series Liquid Propane Gas only Grill, not convertible to Natural Gas, Rotisserie, cover orLP Tank are not included. The primary cooking area is 23” W x 18.9” D and the warming rack area is 175 sq. in. The weight was 114.9 lbs. The back of the cabinet is open. The grill has an exclusive Stainless Steel finish. Reliable electric ignition to fire up your grill allows for even cooking. The wheels have locking Casters. The porcelain-coated grease pan can be removed for easy cleaning.
👤The grill was easy to assemble, but it didn't get very hot when I first used it. I called Amazon, who was great, and after waiting for over an hour and a half, the representative told me that they couldn't help me. The customer needs to call directly. Can you call the Amazon rep who waited over an hour to transfer me? Nope... Everything was not provided. This grill may be good when and if it gets fixed, but it is the last Char Broil product I will ever buy.
👤I'm waiting for the BBQ to be picked up by the shipping company because it's painted black steel, not the metal shown in the ad and description. My bad. It was too good to be true. The other reviewer mentioned this. I looked closely at all the pictures to make sure there was no painted black steel.
👤I was able to put it together in about 2 hours. The grill is made of steel and should last a long time with proper maintenance. Looking forward to many BBQ's with this grill. I would recommend it if I had it for a few days. You can check back in a year for more information.
👤Wow, what a piece of garbage this is. The stand is very flimsy and had to add a stiffening brace. It wasn't worth packing up and coming back when you discovered how much of a piece of junk it was.
👤It was difficult to put together. It took almost two hours. Even with a full bottle, the grill doesn't heat up well. I will replace it with something else. I regret getting this grill, I had a Weber before.
👤This is the only piece of grill that is made of the steel, which was important to me because the rest of the grill fell apart. The grill feels a little flimsy, but it feels like it is. It cooks evenly with multiple burners and puts out plenty of heat. The back of the grill is open, which makes it less stable. I would buy it again if it was an all-stainless grill. I'm satisfied.
👤I put it together in the driveway. The gate and walk are 3' wide, which makes it difficult to roll it around back to the patio. The design for the wheels is two on the back. So it rolls smoothly, only pushing at its full width, which is to wide, to walk through a narrow gate. The side shelves are not made to be folded down to make it easier to move the grill on the narrow. The doors add no strength to the base and there is no back panel to add rigidity. The grill lid must be over the base to get a cover. The grease pan is flooded by rain water and the propane tank is also flooded.
👤The body is nice. The flimsy construction looks good but feels cheap as the whole unit wobbles and the lid is light weight, but it's not easy to lift because of the warming tray hinges. A competitor has a grill with a lid window as well as no lid side insulation. It should work for a long time because it is very stylish.
A 95 square inch warming rack is ideal for sides and buns, and a 310 square inch primary cooking space on durable porcelain-coated, rust-resistant and easy-to-clean steel grates. TRU-Infrared cooking technology cooks food up to 50% juicier. The metallic gray finish is exclusive. Storage space for propane tank, grilling tools and accessories can be found in a single-door cabinet. burner lighting can be fast and reliable with an electronic ignition. Convenient side shelves give added space for work and prep. The side shelves fold down when not in use. The burners are powered by propane,LP, gas, and are made from the same material as steel. The temperature gauge can be removed for easy cleaning, and it has a lid to easily monitor the inside temperature of your grill. Simple design and standardized hardware make assembly quick and easy. The tool has SAFER red nylon bristles. It's easy to move around your deck or patio with the four heavy-duty casters. The dimensions are 44.5-inches wide x 22.4-inches deep and 45.3-inches high.
👤It's a perfect size for a patio. It was assembled in less than an hour. The instructions were easy to follow. Works well. There was a cleaning brush.
👤On Saturday morning, my front door step was covered in super fast shipping. The assembly process began after unpacked. The parts where there, the holes lined up, and theInfrared worked great! This is a quality grill, so don't be shy about the lower price.
👤I was a little nervous about getting a grill, but this one is great for a quick dinner for two. The shelves fold down when not in use, so they are nice to have on my patio. I baked a cobbler in it instead of heating up my kitchen in the middle of a Louisiana summer because it holds a steady temp. It's difficult to get a temp below 275, but it's enough for smoked ribs. It was easy to assemble. I think it took me 30 minutes to finish. I was worried about cleaning but the ceramic surface wipes clean with minimal effort. The design of the drip pan is not a big deal, but the fact that I maxed it out cooking a split chicken probably had more to do with my novice status and less to do with the design. Highly recommended.
👤I love this grill. Cooks well and cleans up nicely. The pan and tray help clean up. This grill is definitely recommended by woukd.
👤The patio bistro needed to be replaced. I was lucky to find this one during prime days. I love the grills. The deep V grooves in the grate can be hard to clean, but for meats to come out as juicy and tasty as they do I don't mind. I got my grill from Amazon in 2 hours. Added on 6/28-21. The grills door will not close if you use a gauge on your propane tank. Hopefully the gauge will work.
👤I cook most of my food on a wood pellet grill, which is great for flavor and accurate cooking, but not good for hot and fast grilling. I wanted a propane grill that would complement my wood pellet grill and be used for things like burgers, grilled veggies, and steaks. The non-infrared version of this grill worked well for this purpose, but the heat distribution held it back. I upgraded to this version in hopes that it would cook more evenly and get hotter. I am happy to say that it is true. This grill is a great companion to a pellet grill because it gets very hot very quickly. It is one of the only small options available for this purpose, and it is larger than I needed or had space for. This is a great option if you are looking for a small gas grill.
👤The price at Lowes was more than the price at Amazon. stainless steel vs rust proof gray is different. I live on the southern coast of California. If it sits outside, the salt air is brutal. I am happy with the cover I bought for the grill. The grill was built out of the box in 1.5 hours, and the first test light-up was perfect. The grill was used for the first time. No issues. The directions were vague but easy to overcome. I am very happy with the small grill so far, and will be using it many times. It is perfect for a small patio.
Extra storage and prep space can be found on metal side shelves. You don't need to leave for delicious rotisserie. The Char-Broil universal grill rotisserie can be used to roast at home. Meat can be basted in it's own juices. The electric motor is durable and powered by one piece of rotisserie rod. Two meat forks hold meat in place. Most 2 to 6 burner grills have a universal design. The brackets are designed to fit on a grill. One mounts to the lid and the other to the grill grate. The length of the rotisserie rod was changed to maximize grilling space.
👤After 40 days, my rotisserie died. The turning stopped and the rocking stopped. I contacted Char. The Char-Broil Specialist said that Jake was not helpful. How can I help you? The motor of the Char-Broil Universal Rotisserie is dying and I purchased it on Sept 25th. It won't move. Only when you are back and forth. You bought it through Amazon. There is a Jake is sorry to hear that. Jake: Since the item was purchased through Amazon, you will need to return it through them. Amazon only returns it for 30 days and it has a 1 year warranty. I am over that time period. There is a Jake says that their accessories do not have warranties. Our rip-stop cover is the only thing that does. There is a Did you purchase a warranty through Amazon? Jake, are you still with me? I didn't purchase a warranty from Amazon. I don't think Amazon offered one. I was looking for a 1 year warranty. I just read that it did. There is a Jake is not sure what you are talking about. Our rip-stop covers are the only accessory that comes with a warranty. You can't help me with a replacement. There is a Jake: I can't. I apologize. You: okay. Jake: Is there anything else I can do for you today? No sir. Jake was glad he could answer your questions. Our Charbroil family would like to thank you for being a member. If you need assistance, please contact us. Have a great day! This product has a one year warranty. There is a new word for it.
👤What a joke. It says 2 to 6 burner. Yeah, right. If you have a 3 burner, it's perfect. I called Amazon to complain. They said to return it and buy another item. I had them on the phone. They didn't tell me that I would have to buy it myself. I thought they did it for me. Its memorial day. I have ribs to cook. I'm sorry, all they said was that. I was given permission to use the item that didn't fit that day. Return it for a refund. I didn't have a choice, but I don't like doing that. The description for this item needs to be changed. It's making the customer look bad. The pictures will show what I'm talking about. It is going to be a long day. I have ribs. I have to cook two at a time. Each time it takes 4 1/2 hours. I have a lot of beer on hand.
👤Everything was great when I got it. The post would sometimes fall out. I was able to rig it so everything was fine. After about two and a half weeks, it was making an awful creaking noise, and while watching it would turn about 1/6th of a turn, stop, and go back the other way. Over and over again. What the heck? When I contacted charbroil, I was told that if something breaks, you have to go through the retailer. What company does that work for? It's not the retailer's fault that your product broke. The nice guy on the chat offered to start a case to see if they could replace me. Oh, ugh. I spoke with a chat rep at Amazon who immediately offered to send me a replacement and it will be here in a few days. I will never order from Amazon again.
There's a lot to like about George Tough Nonstick coating, it's easy to clean, and it doesn't need butter or oil. The easy-to-remove stand takes you from patio to countertop in no time. It is possible to control the temperature. The temperature probe can be used to get the best results on any kind of food. Your landlord will love the fully electric grill because it gives you high-quality grilling with no charcoal, no propane, and no flare-ups. The use and care manual was included.
👤My friend showed me the rectangular version of the grill that my family was looking for, which really impressed me. We used to own George Foreman Grills, but they seemed to ruin the flavor of the food we were cooking. This seemed to be the product I was waiting to see from George. We didn't have enough space to store a typical outdoor grill or to use it in the winter, so we went with this one. We liked that it was large enough for our family to live in, and that it worked well without the need for propane. Here are the pros. You will save money if you don't have gas to deal with. If you can't have a gas grill, you can't go wrong. 2. It usually starts to heat up within a few minutes. 3. It cooks food thoroughly and keeps it moist. It takes some time to get used to the temp settings. The cons were the reason it was stored in our basement for a year or so. I would have preferred the 12 serving version. I only use it for cooking 10 people and that is the only time I use it. If I'm not grilling the entire meal on it, it ends up being more of a hassle. The cons are listed here. The cleaning is tiring. It doesn't clean very well, but it barely fits in the sink due to its circular design. The 12 serving version would make cleaning the lid much easier. 2. The cord needs to be longer. Not much, maybe a few feet. I always need to use an extension cord. 3. Good luck if you plan to use this in your kitchen, because you don't have a lot of counter space. The circular design takes up more space than is necessary. I usually place it on the stove because it limits my use. 4. The grease channel in the middle is annoying. The grease just fills up the channel if the drain is blocked. Anything you put in the center area will be soaked and caked with drips. The design doesn't always allow for a limit on the amount of food in the center. 5. Don't forget the drip pan. I forgot to put the pan in when I cooked bacon. It is hidden on the inside of the lower grill, which makes it easy to forget. A pool of grease was on the floor. It was not on my list of things to do that day to clean bacon fat off the floor. 6. Burger patties are hard to cook. I like to make my own patties with different ingredients. Thick patties break apart and take a long time to cook on a traditional grill. Thin patties fall apart when you flip them on the grill. Adding ingredients to the patty structure doesn't seem to help. This is not a grill that you want to buy. I think the grill does a good job for people who can't have a gas grill. If you want to know if the 12 serving grill is better for you, you should check it out. It is easy to use indoors and outdoors, store and clean. I will most definitely be reverting to a gas grill once I have enough money and space. The taste of this grill is better than the practice of using a real grill. Hope this helps!
200 square inch grilling grate. The cooking space is over the porcelain-coated grates. The cooking system is Convectional. The swing-a-way rack is 170 square inches. Three in-line burners for cooking. The Porcelain-coated steel lid and firebox are impervious to weather and the elements. Extra storage and prep space can be found on metal side shelves.
👤I was able to assemble this on my own because I have arthritis in my fingers. It took about 2 hours, but it was perfect, with all the parts and hardware in the box. Before you start, you should look at the hardware list and the parts list. The parts of the grill are numbered in the assembly steps, so you can pick them out easily. The bolts and nuts are marked on the back with serrated spots and are shrink packaged. Look over each step as you go, and gather the pieces and hardware you'll need before starting each step. You'll need a utility knife and a phillips head screwdriver. We burned all three burners for 20 minutes before using them. We are going to launch it over the weekend. We're very happy with the grill.
👤This grill was terrible. The flame shields fell off their brackets. The burner was rendered inoperable when flames started shooting out around one of the adjustment knobs. You get what you pay for. If you only want a grill that lasts a single summer, you should buy this one. Customer service wasn't helpful in replacing the parts that were malfunctioning.
👤I used this grill through October of 2018). It was always covered when not in use. The paint on the inside of the lid had fallen off after I removed the cover in April of 2019. I contacted Char Broil support to see if they could help with the replacement of the grill that is completely useless.
👤This is a decent grill for the price. We've always lived in apartment buildings where we couldn't have a grill. We moved to a house with a perfect spot for a grill, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on it if we wanted to go back to an apartment in a year or two. I decided against using a charcoal grill because they seemed too time consuming. I like the fact that I can get dinner on the table after a long day using a gas grill. We use the 3 burner because we like to grill meat and veggies at the same time. We thought 2 burners wouldn't be enough space when we had people over. When we had a dinner party with two other couples, cooking space got tight quickly and we were right to get the 3rd burner. The grill does not have as much temperature control as I would like, but it gets the job done. We will upgrade when we feel like we are permanently located, but we are very happy with this at the moment. It was easy to put together. If you are looking for an affordable gas grill, I would highly recommend it.
👤It's not the best grill I've ever owned, but it will work until it doesn't. I drilled a hole and installed this one because I didn't have a thermometer. I can no longer recommend it because they raided the price from $10 to $25.55 in the past 2 weeks. The grill is back to being used. The cooking grids are very small. Some hotdogs may fall through the space between the grids. Oiling is required before every use to cut down on sticking on the porcelain coated grid. There is not a lot of temperature control because the burner throttle knobs only turn about a quarter. Hot spots can be caused by the 3 tube shaped burners not burning consistently. The burgers on the left-front of the grill will burn more than those on the right-front. The temp is not set in stone. The good. I've used this grill about 6 times and it lights the first time. Big foods will cook better than small foods because of the size and placement of the cooking grids. I will be using this grill a lot over the next few months. I will update this review if I have more information.
Even the stickiest messes, like burnt BBQ sauce wipes, are easy to clean and reuse. It's dishwasher safe! There is an e-book included. You can learn tips, tricks and more with a free user guide ebook. 👤The grill is great for apartment living. Gets hot quickly. The aluminum foil makes it easier to clean. There were a couple grease flare ups. They died out when I closed the cover. Food is almost charcoal-cooked when it is cooked under the heating element. I found the best deal online. The Grill is still running. It's not the cleanest set up, but it works great. At the first TumBLE, LEGS BROKE very quickly. No problem, used them without the legs on the table. A 5 ELL GEILL THERMOMETER AND INSTALLED DRILLING HOLE was found. The heating element works perfectly for the price.
👤A good oven. It was easy to use. Plug in the power directly. You can change the size of your fire. I would like to eat a barbecue at any time. No more being roasted. It is easy to clean.
👤Is it an apartment or a house? This is perfect for balconies where gas and charcoal are not safe. This grill is easy to put together and clean. I advise you to use a bbq mat to keep grease out of the heating element. This reduces the amount of clean up. It won't ruin our summer fun. This purchase will not make you regret it.
👤I received a grill a few days ago. It's easy to put together. The electric grill is the perfect size for an apartment balcony or small deck. The grill has a good size grilling surface, a tight fitting lid, and a variety of vent holes. The grill was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. I plugged it in to see if it heated up. We grilled the food and it was amazing. I would recommend this product.
👤The best grill I've ever used is easy to use and tastes like it came off a charcoal grill. The Electric Grill is a great option for people who don't want to use gas or charcoal. Plug the grill in and cook. It is easy to lift and transport. A good value.
👤Does what it is supposed to do.
👤I love it! I used it last night but had to have someone assemble as I have no mechanical ability. There is a It was a bit difficult to disassemble and clean, but worth it. I didn't want to deal with gas or charcoal, so I've put off getting one. The electric bbq is great.
👤I can not give this product a single star. Very disappointing. There is at least a hundred pieces. The instructions were hard to understand. You have to disassemble some small pieces in order to clean them. The bowl and lid need to be cleaned. The product might be ok for one use. The waste of $80 is the worst I have ever seen.
👤The bbq is really nice. I can cook a few steaks at a time on the warming rack.
The dimensions are 44.5-inches wide x 22.4-inches deep and 45.3-inches high. The kettle grill has a total cooking surface of over 300 square inches. The cooking grate is 22.5 inches in diameter and coated in porcelain. The lid has a mounted temperature gauge for easy operation. The bowl is designed to operate with less charcoal than others.
👤I know what I'm doing because I've been grilling my whole life. I thought fighting greasy flareups was part and parcel to charcoal grilling. I went to gas for a while and spent a lot of money to find out. I didn't like the flavor of charcoal. I read the reviews and found that there was only one legitimate complaint about the Kettleman. The front single leg is not designed to move. I will be adding some bracing soon to make the connection to the kettle more rigid. This grill is perfect, except for one minor flaw, which is very encouraging. I got one star for that wobbly leg. Don't let the leg stop you from buying this grill. I've owned a bunch of them and it's far superior to anything Weber sells. Weber has been the standard for decades and every other kettle is a Weber clone. Kamado kettle smokers are different. I bought a Kettleman after selling my smoker. I don't want to smoke with it. I have a Masterbuilt electric smoker that I use for my low and slow smoking. The rub is here. You can't ask any appliance to do everything well. I know Charbroil says the Kettleman is a great smoker, but a dedicated electric smoker will give you infinitely better temperature control and that's the game in low and slow. Smoking is all about temp control. Flareups and the charred mess they create are no longer a problem with the Kettleman. While you're in the fridge getting another beer, you can even grill high fat 85% hamburger patties. The vent system is part of Charbroil's innovation. It works better than a Weber tradition. I had doubts about the system, but as it turns out, it's the real deal. I had doubts because the coals are so close to the cooking surface. This thing is better than any of my Weber's. It's easy to grill marks and as pie. Even cooking across the entire grilling surface is not a problem. The heat is more evenly distributed than a Weber. My only advice to you is to use an instant read thermometer and not touch or sight the meat. I overcooked some expensive steaks before I got the hang of it, but no more, because the grill is so efficient that it cooks quicker than Webers. One last thing. Weber's are hard to clean out. If you've ever owned a Weber, you know that their newest design for ash removal is still inferior. It's still messy in the wind. The Kettleman has a cleanout pan. It's wide enough to allow the kettle ashes to fall to the bottom and then you can simply pour out the waste. It's perfect.
👤For the first season, I really liked this grill, it cooks nicely, no flare up. The grill is the best I've ever used for grilling vegetables. The grate is ceramic coated, it needs to be cleaned differently than other grills, I cleaned it according to the manual, but with use, the ceramic started to chip and flake, "no big deal, I'll just buy." Over a year has passed. The grill only works with the right grate. I wish I had bought something else.
