👤I had a grill for 35 days. There is a It was cooked 4 times. It's the same thing. It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing There is a difference. Light usage broke the handle. The non-stick coating is getting bigger. I didn't see any temperature controls on this place, like I thought they would be. I only had this thing for a month. Do not buy. It's not safe to eat from this if it's bubbling up.

👤Exactly a year after my last review. The handle broke where the screw is that connects the handle to the press. I have a problem of flipping over when I pressed it. I can't get in touch with the seller since they don't have a phone number or name. I love this maker. I don't like the fact that it wants to flip over when I close it.

👤It is not an expensive press, just keep that in mind. I have an expensive one. I bought this for some of the kids to make something. There are no settings and it gets too hot. I am good because they love it. My daughter said no, they love it. I feel like the unregulated heat dries out the product, be it bread, rice frittata or something. They still have it. Hope it isn't stuck in one of their cupboards.

👤The press worked well until it broke. I took it out to make another sandwich. By the pictures you can see that it broke in my hand, all I did was open it. The return window and replacement window were closed on May 21st. I'm going to call Amazon to find out what the seller will do. I like the product so I want to replace it.

👤I have had a panini press for a while now. My boyfriend uses it all the time. We use an electric stove top to heat tortillas. It's perfect for grilled cheese.

👤This is a nice long grill, and they call it a "2 slice", other stuff called 2 slice have a wall to separate the sandwiches. I have made several panini's and used them as a counter top grill for chicken and burger patties. It's very basic, no knobs or switches, plug it in, the red light comes on, and then the green light comes on to say that the temp in the factory set is reached, the grill bars are a quarter inch apart when closed.

👤Just what was needed. I make great sandwiches with this. It's easy to use. I wish it had an ON/OFF button, instead of having to plug it in every time. You can't leave it plugged in because it will stay on. That is my only complaint. It is an awesome little kitchen accessory. It is very easy to clean. You should clean it around five minutes after you plug it in. Food particles won't get stuck onto it. I use a soft damp sponge to wipe the plates.

2. OXO Grips Electric Grill Panini

OXO Grips Electric Grill Panini

It is the sign of a George Foreman Grill. Excess fat can be removed for tasty meals and healthy grilling. It's ideal for cleaning waffle makers. The bristles are flexible and safe for cookware. Even when wet, the handle is non-slip. The heat resistant silicone blade is not harmful to delicate surfaces. Not for use on outdoor grills.

Brand: Oxo

👤The scrub brush I used was awesome. I bought the one that cleans pans that are more abrasive. I bought a new brush and maker for my daughter for Christmas. Oxo never ceases to impress! There is a great find on Amazon. I bought 2 more brushes. These brush are gentle on my daughter's toy chihuahuas when they are bathed. They love the gentle message and it cleans them better than a dog scrub brush. They love bath time more than ever now that they have a relaxing spa time.

👤I use this on the non-stick plates in my Griddler. I bought replacement plates since the first set was showing silver specks where I'd brushed the covering off. I decided to use the brush on my old plates first since I was going to clean them when the package arrived. Thank you, God, I did. The old plates were much worse off than they had been before the brushes took off a lot of coating. I wouldn't use it on my plates.

👤I use a wet brush in my sink to clean my electric grill, but it's not safe for high temperatures, and should be used after grilling or cooking, as it melted in my sink when I used it under 400 degrees.

👤A year ago, we got one of these brushes. There are a lot of good things about this little guy. Since the other one was worn out, we ordered this one. This brush lasted a long time. We used it to help clean some rust out of a rusted dutch over, but we couldn't get it cleaned after that. The little guy has strong bristles that are good for a lot of things, from cleaning a grill to just prepping potatoes. It's definitely a heavy duty scrubber for those who are hard to clean. The size is large. It's small so you can get it in smaller places or not get a long handled item. It's easy to maneuver. The grip is easy to use and great for anyone. It's a good size, so it won't slip around in your hand, or be too big to hold comfortably. This brush is great for the price and will last you a long time.

👤This is the second brush I've owned and it's amazing, it's perfect for all of your non-stick cookware, including your air fryer, and it has soft heat resistant bristles.

👤This brush is the best thing to clean your panini press. #1 Never use spray oil on a non-stick surface. If you do, it will be difficult to clean. After it cools down and is washed with a paper towel or cloth, you should use the wet brush. The bonus tip is to leave 3 wet paper towels in the press during the cool down.

👤I use my cast iron skillets or Dutch oven to cook almost everything when I'm not grilling or baking. I have been accused of leaving the pans on the stove without cleaning them. I will state that this brush would be very helpful for you to use in the morning to clean the pan if you were to happen to be in that situation. I have used this tool many times for that purpose and it has always been my best cleaning option. Most people know not to use soap when cleaning cast iron because it can wash away seasoning on the cooking surface. The best way to clean cast iron is to slide a quality steel flipper under the food bits while the pan is still hot from cooking. When the pan has cooled, wipe them out with a terry-cloth towel. It was very easy and quick. A few seconds. You don't have to drag the pan to the sink. You don't need to apply oil if you used hot water. The 400 degree surface of the iron should sear away harmful organisms and any fears you had that such were there in the first place.

3. George Foreman 5 Serving Removable GRP0004B

George Foreman 5 Serving Removable GRP0004B

Perfect heat is the secret ingredient. You can set the temperature range on the temperature slide. Theremovable grill plates are all about making it easy to clean them. After cooking, just wash them in the dishwasher and they will be ready to eat. There is a lot to love about this coating. It is easy to clean and it does not need butter or oil. It is the sign of a George Foreman Grill. The grilling surface helps remove up to 42% of fat. The temperature indicator light is on. The grill is ready to cook when the light is on.

Brand: George Foreman

👤I can get 2 frozen patties on the grill. Two, not five, not three. I bought a bigger one to replace the one I had. Nope, the same size. I can live with that. It seems that items are quicker to oxidize on the right side than on the other side. Also a plus. The items were not with my last partner. I love the grills. I can just drop this into the sink because I didn't have cleaning implements.

👤I have an issue with cooking meat on the stove. Most of the time my meat on the stove ends up being burned on the outside and raw on the inside because I don't know what temp to set it on. I finally tasted grilled chicken when I got this grill. This product is the best cooking thing ever. If you follow the guidelines of how much time it says on the timer guide. It will cook the meat well. It still cooks perfectly even if you cut it a little unevenly. I think other people should buy this product.

👤The old hard to clean grill that had stationary grills was my first one and I love it. You can remove the plates to clean them. The grill portion is only 12 inches long by 6 inches wide, so it is not really large enough for 5 burgers, they would have to be burgers the size of a slider. There is only two of us so there is plenty big enough for us. It is easy to clean and large enough for two. This product would be a good one to recommend.

👤Cleaning is much easier with theremovable plates. The appliance looks big but it won't cook more than 2 or 3 burgers at a time. It's a far cry from being able to whip up quick food.

👤I love the model of the grill. The grill is easy to set up. The grill is very easy to clean, and it is the perfect size for my counter-top. The grill plates make it easy to clean the exterior with a sponge or damp dish cloth. I was impressed by how quickly the food is prepared on this grill. I can fit at least two of everything on this grill. There are no negatives with this product.

👤I absolutely adore my GFG. It cooks from below and above, it's genius. I can cook turkey burgers and chicken breasts at the same time. I believe it cooks chicken faster than burgers. The cord is short. Who could not use another 12 inches? There are limits where you can use it.

👤I enjoy cooking with the George Forman grills. I use it once or twice a week. I wanted the bigger one to go in the dishwasher because it was hard to clean. It is perfect for two people. Do you not know about the 5 serving? Hot dogs for 5 but other than that... This fits three chicken breasts for thighs at the same time. I have been using the Forman grills since they were introduced.

4. George Foreman 5 Serving Removable GRP472P

George Foreman 5 Serving Removable GRP472P

Not for use on outdoor grills. Theremovable grill plates are all about making it easy to clean them. After grilling, put them in the dishwasher to be ready for your next meal. Time for an upgrade! The key to their improved coating is ceramic. It is 5x more durable, stain- and fade- resistant, and free of PFOA. It is the sign of a George Foreman Grill. The sloped grilling surface helps remove fat from meat. The grill plates are replaceable. Cool-touch plastic grips make it easy to handle the grill plates. There is a tray. Excess fat and grease can be collected by the dishwasher-safe drip tray. That is nice. There is a tray. Excess fat and grease can be collected by the dishwasher-safe drip tray. How nice is that?

Brand: George Foreman

👤This is probably the first of the larger ones. It's a bit clunky, but that's a fair trade off for the grill plates. I have teenagers who don't clean things immediately. The day old caked on chicken-marinade-soaky-stuff slid off after I ran the plates under hot water. I waited to buy another one because of the difficulty in cleaning them without the plates. This sucker cleans up quickly. I bought this one after looking at one at WalMart that was about $10 more and the only bonus was that it would stand up on end. I think this guy will become a regular kitchen item in the near future as we cook more healthy in my house. There are 2 huge chicken breasts and one small strippy piece on the grill. The large breasts can easily be 2 serving each.

👤After years of use, a smaller George Foreman grill was time for a new one because my husband forgot to plug it in and burn food on it. The model I bought was advertised as a 5 serving grill, which I wanted a larger one for. I didn't open it for a while because I didn't want the same thing to happen to this one. I have been away from home a few times before. My daughter offered to grill hamburgers for my family on the day after Christmas. She opened the box to see the cooking surface and was disappointed. It only held two burgers at a time. It took her forever since there were 12 people here. I don't want this grill. I'm stuck with it because the return window has closed. I don't recommend this grill if you're looking for a new grill with a 4 or 5 serving cooking surface.

👤We had a family size grill for about 15 years and finally decided to get a new one as the non stick surface was wearing out and the cleaning was always a hassle. We thought the 5 serving model might be large enough for our family. It was a big mistake. I took a picture of it with two frozen hamburger patties on it. We can't get a third burger there. Grease runs down the top plate and collects in the hinge area, which is worse than the original grill. The only saving grace is that the grill heats up and cooks quickly, and the plates do remove for cleaning, but not for the grease that ran down into the hinges. Save your money and be patient.

👤The smaller cooktop was advertised as five serving. The cooking plates are smaller than the actual grill. You can fit two patties on the grill at the same time. I bought this product because I wanted the plates that were not in a larger grill. It is easy to clean. My kids made food on it and left it dirty for me to find. It sprayed off with no effort. The coating on the plates is very good. It surpasses any non-stick surface I have used before. I would not market this product as a five serving cooktop, but I would purchase a larger version that would cook four burgers at once.

Brand: Simple Living Products

👤I bought a "Power Smokeless Grill" from a store after seeing an ad on TV. It was worth a shot, I paid over $100 with sale discounts, and I think I paid a little over $105. I tried to use that one once and it wouldn't get over 250F, so I returned it quickly. I looked at the reviews on Amazon for the Simple Living model and the Indoor Smokeless BBQ. I wasn't willing to pay more for it because they were similar. The Simple Living model was given a try. I think the grill was a little excessive in my opinion, but it wasn't broken or damaged in any way, so I think I shouldn't complain too much. After unpacking the grill and reading the instructions, I turned it on. The instructions say to turn it to the warm setting for a minute, then to the high setting for a minute or so before cooking. It says that it may take longer to get hot. This is true. You should wait 10 to 15 minutes before cooking. It took me 15 minutes or more to get my temperature over 400F. The grill marks were very light because there was no grease for fat in the meat. After cooking about 3 lbs of meat, I turned it off. I made four ribeye steaks that were about 12 ounces or more each. I put a bit of tenderizer, seasoning and olive oil in them and let them stand for a while before cooking. I put the grill on and let it warm up for a while to make sure it was hot. I grilled the steaks for about 10 minutes per side. The internal temperature was about 150 to 155F with grill marks on them. I was pretty happy. A regular grill has that burned fat smokey flavor that you don't get on this grill. If I would cook to a higher degree of doneness, I would have gotten more of that caramelization, a ribeye would be that one steak I might try that with. It was better to fry in a pan on the stove. The grill is good, but I don't think it's hot enough for me. I might expect too much. There is a plastic protective covering on the tray, but I don't think the manual talks about it. Remove this before you cook the first time. I did not. It was difficult to get off. Hope this helps someone.

👤I love this grill. It is perfect for cold winter days in NYC. I was impressed with how quickly everything was cooked. The meat never dries out. Everything is moist and tender. I was blown away by how delicious the lamb chops were. It was perfect, I did shrimp and salmon. The grilling surface is larger than expected. The grill and dripping tray are washed. It uses a type of technology that makes it heat up quickly. This grill is very good. I'm looking forward to eating some delicious veggies and burgers soon. -Melissa.

Brand: Omaiga

👤I bought this for the purpose of making grilled sandwiches. It was important for me to have both sides. They are easy to clean. They say the dishwasher is safe. I usually wash my hands right away. I started using a George for grilled sandwiches and it is better now. It's great for quesadillas as they cook in half the time and require no flipping which means no mess compared to a standard stovetop griddle. It cooks evenly and it's nice to have the temperature control. I should be able to cook fresh baked tortillas at a time, with this I should be able to cook for at a time, since I was only able to cook one at a time on the stovetop.

👤I teach cooking and knife skills and am a professional home chef. I take all of my kitchen items very seriously. I am very careful in evaluating and rating the items I test and review. My reviews are not biased. Good is bad. This grill/panini press is a marginally good grill/panini press that will work well for cooking some medium-temperature foods when opened flat or with the various Press settings. The product page states "Stainless Steel", but there is very little steel in it. There is a lot of plastic and aluminum. It's cheap and it's not easy to control the various features. The Grill will be great for pressed sandwiches like grilled cheese and similar items, as well as sauteing veggies and thin meats. * The panels are easy to remove and clean. It's important to use non-metal cooking tools so that they don't scratch the grill panels. * A simple setting slide is used to adjust the thickness of the top over the bottom plates, as well as lock the two sides together when transporting or storing. Less than optimal or bad. * The grill never exceeded a temperature of 400F anywhere on either panel after being tested repeatedly and heating for long periods. The MAX setting had an average temperature of 387F. You will not be able to sear with this grill. * There is no fan or blower, and if you use a number of different foods, the grill will smoke without capturing or disseminating it. Unless you have a powered vent above the grill, your smoke detectors will sing. There is a * The short power cord makes it difficult to use in places that are not appropriate for a hot grill to be placed. If it reached 2000 watt, you would not be able to use an extension cord less than 14AWG, and a standard circuit breaker is designed to trip over 1875 watt. If you have other items working on the same circuit, this is important. The grill housing is made of plastic and cheaper materials. I don't think this grill will be a mainstay in the kitchen for a long time. I mentioned that this grill does have some utility benefit for cooking some foods and at some temperatures, but it is not up to doing all that it claims and as such, I rate it with a cautious three stars and suggest looking at other similar products in the same price range. It's Bon Appetit. If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the "helpFUL" button below.

7. Cuisinart GR 4N Griddler Silver Black

Cuisinart GR 4N Griddler Silver Black

Their mouths are used for many things, from teeth grinder to football mouth piece. The 5-1 griddler is a contact grill, panini press, full grill, full griddle and half grill/half griddle. The griddler plates are dishwasher safe and are easy to use, they act as a drain for the grease for cooking more healthy. It is easy to store grease in the integrated tray. Also included: The red/green indicator lights are easy to use, the scraper is dishwasher safe, and the instruction manual has gourmet recipes. There is custom control. The handle with floating cover adjusts to the thickness of the food, there are temperature controls for grill or griddle, and the selector knob can be used for grill or griddle function. Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the product is free.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤I am sad that I can't give this a full 5 stars, but I must make sure the people are aware of the issues because I can't give a full 5 stars. I have bought two of them in less than 6 years. I have the original box and foam inserts in case I need to move it or send it back for warranty purposes. The plastic side buttons that you push to pop out the grill plates will break after a couple years of use. The metal is inside the machine and it's hard to get to it. I didn't keep the original receipt for the second panini grill because I didn't know if it was under warranty, but I was happy to see that it was still within the warranty. The cost was on me after I called the Warranty number. You're expected to pay an additional $10 to get a repaired or potentially new one back. I asked that the second fee be nixed, as it seemed unfair. I go to the U.S. Post Office with the machine. It cost $38.12 to ship via ground and $42 for priority. I was surprised. The agent joked to the other postal worker that she wanted to buy it from me because the box looked brand new. She dropped her jaw when I said it needed repair. She thought it was ridiculous that they wouldn't send me a postal order as the weight and that it would have to go cross-country. It didn't make sense to ship for more than half the price. I checked with the shipping company and they were over $24. I can see paying fifteen dollars for a product that is too expensive for a newer model, but it's too much money for a product that costs sixty five dollars. I explained my case to Cuisinart. I was told that if I wanted to use the warranty, I had to ship it. They wouldn't give me $34 for a new one. I am disappointed that Cuisinart makes their warranty policy difficult to honor. They didn't bother to respond when I contacted them on Facebook to see if they'd look into my case. I wonder if the extended warranty offered on Amazon would make me want to buy another one. I'm not sure if I'm wasting my money or not. The ethics of a warranty that costs you a fortune in order to be honored is not something I like. The pros of the machine are: -great for grilling meat/fish/vegetables; -great for nonstick plates; and -can make waffles. You're expected to pay $10 to get a repaired or possibly new one back.

👤I'm a chef, so perhaps my expectations are too high, but I was completely disappointed in this product. It looks and feels cheap, but it has so much promise. It is very light, and it rattles when you move it. I don't think it can last long if it is used a lot. The grease trap is difficult to remove. It doesn't cook well. It takes 10 minutes to heat up, but you can try 20 minutes. The grill is struggling to get up to temp for most of the cooking time because the temperature drops quickly when you put food on it. The pannini function is difficult because the top griddle is not heavy enough to heat the product effectively or to get good grill marks. I am a professional cook and would not recommend this product. A good cast iron skillet lasts forever. The Cusinart name has always meant good quality products that cook well and last a long time, and this one does not live up to that.

8. George Foreman 9 Serving 144 Square Inch GR2144P

George Foreman 9 Serving 144 Square Inch GR2144P

There is a tray. Excess fat and grease can be collected by the dishwasher-safe drip tray. How nice is that? Patented sloped design for cooking. The heating elements of the Signature Foreman are for faster temperature recovery. Add convenience by preheating the indicator light. The dishwasher safe drip tray is easy to clean.

Brand: George Foreman

👤This is a notice. I've seen people say that the grill isn't sloped enough or that the grease collects in the back. I don't think most people know about a stand on the back that can increase the slope angle. I didn't realize that this didn't have the same grill design as George Foreman grills for the past 15 years. This makes cleaning very difficult and awkward. I bought it because it can serve nine hamburger patties at once. It is twice as large as the next largest George Foreman grill that serves five. The old grill could only hold 3 patties. The grill is twice as big. 6 patties at a time can be fit in 72 sq. inches. It only takes me 12 minutes to cook 12 patties, but it takes more effort and a bit longer to clean. I don't care about the temperature sliders since I always left my old one at max, but some people might care. It's lighter than the 5-serving size grill and cooks in 6 minutes at a time. The grill is missing George Foreman's signature and it's a mess after 12 patties. I put it at the edge of the sink, use the back stand to tilt it towards the sink, and scrub the bottom tray while using the sink nozzle to spray. It is difficult to clean the top tray. I put it in the sink and scrub it.

👤When I first got this model, I was disappointed that it didn't have the same features as myGF 4 serving. That's a good thing. It's not a big deal. You can either wipe the plates down while the meat is still standing, or you can warm it up a bit after eating. I use paper towels and a damp dish cloth occasionally. It's much easier to remove, soak, wipe, and wash with the plates. I grill in bad or cold weather on top of the electric stovetop.

👤The George Forman grills are wonderful. This one has a large cooking surface which makes it easy to cook enough food for a family. It would be a good idea for anyone who is looking for less greasy food. As fat cooks, it runs off and is collected in a tray. It is easy to clean. No longer working. 5 months and maybe 5 uses stopped working. George Forman was very disappointed.

👤I had to tell the person that I bought my sons and daughters these for Christmas several years ago, and they are still going strong. The ease of use and clean up has made these a go for both sons, who do the cooking in their families. My oldest uses theirs almost nightly. My youngest lives in a tiny house, and it takes up a lot of space. These are the most favorite gifts I've ever given them. If they ever leave, I'll either buy another or upgrade to a newer model. I don't know what to buy for boys. I grew up in a house full of females, but these are definite winners.

9. George Foreman 6 Serving Removable GRP99

George Foreman 6 Serving Removable GRP99

The temperature indicator light is on. The grill is ready to cook when the light is on. The grill has a cooking surface of 100 square inches. Embedded heat elements give consistent heat. The sloped design channels fat and grease away from food. The temperature control has a digital timer. The plates are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. A floating hinge, dishwasher-safe grill plates, and a drip tray are included. The product was built to the standards of North America. Refer to the preheating and usage guidance on Page# 1 of the User Manual before using the product.

Brand: George Foreman

👤I have used the George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine to cook 3 to 4 meals a week for the last 10 years. I decided the electronics were failing after getting warnings on the LEDs. I went to Amazon to find a replacement. I found the same model and design as the one I bought 10 years ago, which says a lot about the durable usefulness of this product. If you're an apartment dweller like me and can't just go fire up the charcoal or the gas grill, this is an efficient and low mess, low maintenance alternative that will get your steak done in under 10 minutes. I've cooked steaks, chicken, kabobs, sausage, pork tenderloin, burgers and bacon wrapped chicken, bacon wrapped hot dogs and (almost) always to perfection. There are a few hints. I use a cooking spray lightly on the food, or the grill plates, which can get a little messy, better on the food. For low temp cooking, I use olive oil, for high heat cooking, I use canola or another high heat oil. I found that food like hamburger sticks to the grill plate if I use canola. 2. Four burgers take about 7 minutes to cook. A 1 inch NY strip takes about 7 minutes to complete. 5 Italian sausages take about 12 minutes to make. You can use any kind of seasoning you want, and using high heat really gives it the nice sear. 3. I rinse the plates under hot water when they are still hot from cooking. Careful! They are very hot from cooking. I use a nylon bristle brush to clean up after myself. While you can put the plates in the dishwasher, I rarely do and found they don't get that clean and may have worn the non-stick surface, as some dishwasher detergents might. After rinsing, I put the plates back on the unit. This will help you decide.

👤It's very easy to clean. The grill plates make it easy to clean up. A good grilling surface area. The maximum heat setting seems to be lower than that. The center of the grilling plate is warmest with the lower temperature towards the side of the plate. The grills were better than before, but the plates on the grills are a big plus. I used the grill for a month. I want to love this device but it has flaws and some advantages. It doesn't get hot enough to act as a grill and, despite its size, doesn't heat to the center making it usable less than it would suggest. The electric cord is so short that you almost need to put the grill close to an outlet. The makers of this grill can't fix the problems. The non-stick coating and plates make cleaning easy, and the flexible hinge allows you to cook different thicknesses of food.

👤I didn't bother to turn it on. The 16 gauge cord is only 22 inches from the base of the rear feet. Someone said the cord was 24 inches, but they weren't measuring from the true back of the unit. I would have to put the grill on the granite countertop because the grease trap on the top of the stove is not good, and it will stain the countertop. This grill is almost the same as the one I bought 5 years ago, but it is made worse. The older version of the cord was at least 3 inches longer. They are cutting too many corners. I will buy a more expensive grill to try out.

👤I would like to give this zero stars. A piece of garbage. I have never worked and have had serious burns. The problem is that the top plate doesn't stay attached to the top once the grill starts heating and falls out, burning me badly. I am stuck with a piece of junk that is not usable because Amazon won't take it back. It seems like the top plate is attached, but when it gets hot, it falls and causes burns. I'm ready to quit Amazon because they won't allow me to return a product that is useless and dangerous.

👤I have had this for a week now and it has been great, I have tried all kinds of food. When the meal is done, I use tongs to carry the serving dishes to the sink and then wash them off, because I like to use tongs to carry dishes. There was no need for soap. Attach the top plate and spray of water to the drain board. There is a The smaller plate is on the bottom. I love that the drain tray is under the older ones so there is no mess. The cord is long. I don't have to change my counter space. The unit is in the cupboard and has a cord wrapped around it. Do not use anything on these. This will ruin the Teflon. Eat with joy.

👤I read the directions. It's a good thing. After cleaning the unit and its plates, expect it to smell bad and smoke a bit. The top and bottom don't have the same temperature. If you open it and add food, it cools down again and you have to heat it up slowly again. The food doesn't have any added flavor like the pan, grill or oven. Pork chops and chicken come out pale and bland. It seems to keep things juicy. I put it away after using it a few times. Would not recommend it.

👤The grill is good. Not as good as the original. The fat doesn't drain off because there is almost no angle. This isn't a problem because foods don't get good grill marks and you can steam/braise more that grill. The dishwasher plates are easy to clean.

👤I have owned a lot of George Foreman Grills over the years and this was the worst. Poorly made and looked cheap. It's time to look for an alternative brand.

👤The mini sandwich was the original George Foreman. The plates didn't remove so cleaning them was difficult. It still works, but this one was much smaller than we expected. Oversight on our part. It seems a little chinchy. Our others were strong. This one is not very strong. I hope it lasts for the price. When we donated them, they were 12 years old.

👤The non-stick properties are great, at least new, but this one does not brown as well as the one it replaced. The plastic based non-stick was used in that one. It does get hot, but we don't know if it's the unit or the plates. I used an IR Thermometer to measure the amount on the plates.

The dishwasher safe drip tray is easy to clean. The George Foreman Grill is the Classic Plate Grill. The grill plates give you the power to grill your favorite foods. They made the George Tough coating stronger. It is easy to clean, and removes the need for butter and oil. It is the sign of a George Foreman Grill. The sloped grilling surface helps remove up to 42% of fat from meat. There is a tray. Excess fat and grease can be collected by the dishwasher-safe drip tray. That is nice.

Brand: George Foreman

👤grease can flow down into the tray if the George Foreman Grill is slanted. The grill is flat. I contacted the Attorney of George Foreman to let him know that his client's name is being placed on a product that is a fake. A serious crime is fraud. The Attorney General's office will also be contacted by me.

👤I tried out my new grill this morning. The chicken breast was still attached when I tried to cook it. The brests are thick. The heat is not uniform, the chicken was burned in a few places, and the heat couldn't transfer enough to cook the chicken in other places. The job was done in a frying pan on the range top. I would send it back. I'm 65 miles from the nearest store so this will be going to the Goodwill.

👤I had a foreman grill that worked for over a decade before it stopped working. I'm not sure if this is a real grill or a fake. It burns my panini before cooking it.

👤Everything was burned. It has no temperature control, so the outside of the meat gets burned, while you are still trying to cook it through the middle. I returned it for another model that has temperature control and easy to clean plates. It is a lot bigger. I didn't want it. They don't make the smaller grills with the temperature control and grill options.

👤I have had many bad George Foreman's. The grease gets so hot that it burns your food. Don't waste your time with this model, get another one.

👤I've grilled chicken breasts, salmon, and swordfish for two people, not four. I think the serving size is overstated because each cut of chicken or fish took up the whole grill area. The grill is very easy to use and it's easier to clean than our old gas grill. I'm giving 4 stars because I wish there was an On/Off switch, instead of having to plug the grill in to turn it off. The only indoor grill with a temperature gauge was too large for our kitchen, and I wish there was one. I don't know how long to cook the meat/fish since the estimated cook times in the booklet haven't worked yet. I'm going to try to cook smaller pieces in the future, but for now, I've cooked 1/3 of the time, then removed the fish and chicken and grilled it another minute or two. It's harder to estimate doneness when you can't see what's being grilled. The grill has been clean. The salmon came off easily, even though it stuck the most. I have not used spray on the grill. I bought an OXO Good Grips electric grill and press brush that works well without requiring any elbow grease. When I wash it, I put the grill over the edge of the sink and scrub it with the OXO brush, then reverse the grill to clean the other side. I use a wet sponge to go over the hinges. It takes less time than cleaning the outdoor grill, and it's even easier than cleaning a non-Teflon pan.
