Brand: Razor

👤I had a lot of questions before I bought this, but I didn't get the answers I was looking for, so here is my review. Why is this not a power wheel? The frame is metal, the motor is a solid unit, and the tires are rubber. The motor moves twice as much as the power wheel, which lasts a little shorter. Is it more dangerous than a power wheel? There is a It is faster, more ridged, heavier, narrower, and will coast on hills. The breaks will lock up because there is no speed limit. There is a lot to learn. Kids reception? This wasn't a jump on and go for him. He was familiar with his power wheel at 2 and it was easy to use. He never fell on his power wheel and never learned anything. It took him a long time to get on the Razor. The Razor was his job. He had to learn to drive at a slower speed, not lock his breaks, and pay attention. He felt like it was a chore at first. The power wheel went into the shed as he got better and could do more on it. When he rides, he shifts his weight and keeps his head up, he is 3 now and loves it. How to keep it safe? I attached a tow strap to the rear handle so I could adjust his steering or lift up the rear end. It felt like it was 6 to 7 mph when I ran with him. He got a real helmet and goggles, the Razor straddles the line between a toy and an ATV to make it not mandatory. Is it reliable? The bolts come loose because of the shaking. The chain has a shroud on it for protection. I called the warranty number to get the bolt that fell off, but it took six weeks to get it. If the motor fried tomorrow, I could get another one and replace it.

👤This thing is built to be an electric cart. There are real tires and brakes. It fits my son perfectly. Our driveway is a hill in the video and it runs right up. May 28th he is still going strong and everything is holding up. The battery is still strong.

👤The quad's frame is solid but the quality of the batteries is terrible and the customer service is worse. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade who spends a lot of time dealing with electrical systems and components so when I tested the batteries and found them unable to hold a charge, I was disappointed to say the least. I called up the phone number for customer service expecting Razor to replace these, but I got a person from India who told me that I was doing something wrong. You should charge the batteries overnight. After I explained that I had already done this several times and the longest life we can get out of them is 10 minutes, I was told that my son must either be too heavy or the terrain is too rough. I told them that my 45 pound 5 year old was light enough and that the flat asphalt neighborhoods roads shouldn't be causing that much energy to be spent. I was sorry to hear about your situation, but the battery life is only about 30 minutes. I told the individual that they should research the products they are supposed to be supporting and hang up. After spending $400, what an awful experience. If you're going to buy this item, you should spend $50-$60 on better batteries.

Refer to the product details below for warranty information for different parts.

Brand: Segway

👤I bought 2 Segway scooters for Christmas 2020. I didn't have a plan to ride them until the spring. We took them out for a 10 minute spin in the high 40s on a nice day in January. The fender/braking system snapped off of one of the scooters. On January 14th, I chatted with a person on a Segway. The person I talked to said the scooter is under warranty and the part would be shipped to me within 20 days. The rep was given 4 pictures of the broken fender. I have no part after 2 months and 2 weeks. I've called Segway 3 times. I email them at least 12 times. I asked a supervisor to get involved. He said my trouble ticket would be assigned to him, but still no resolution. The communication from the Segway representatives has been terrible. No one sends me updates. Unless I chase them, no one makes contact with me. I asked if the part was still being manufactured. No one knows the answer to that question. It was suggested that a used part could be shipped to me for repair. I inquired about an exchange and was told a refurbished scooter would be what I would receive. I don't think that's a real resolution. I requested a full refund this morning after I received my purchase receipt. The supervisor from Segway said a box and label would be sent to me because the scooter is under warranty. I was reassured that the company I was buying from was trustworthy. I am warning anyone looking to purchase from Segway that their customer service processes are garbage.

👤This Segway is the best for two reasons: it's best for short commute to and from work, and it's best for bringing up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment or down the subway stairs. I have lighter scooters, but they can't take the pounding of the potholes and atrocious road conditions of Brooklyn, NY, as well as this one does. I bought a heavier scooter that was too heavy for my frame, but it was too heavy for transportation. The compromise is the ES1L. A full charge will get me about 9 miles, but if the weather is cold it will be less. I have to charge it every day to get enough juice. It has a sport mode that can speed you up to 24 kmh, but I haven't used it, and the standard mode is enough for that. I find the 20 kmh speed at standard mode quick enough to get me through the 4.5 mile commute in 35 minutes. The headlights it came with are just bright enough to alert drivers in front of you about your presence - I bought a separate one to illuminate the road in front of me during night time trips. Attach some good ones to your backpack or helmet if you don't have rearlights. The corner of the platform is starting to lift up, but that can easily be fixed. The scooter is light but sturdy. The electric brakes have started to fail a month after purchase. The stroller is kept in the brakes unless you push the brake throttle back up. Customer Service stopped taking a charge after contacting them. I have a dead scooter. I have been waiting for a box to be sent to me for 2 weeks. Segway needs to improve their customer service. Will say how the refurbished unit performs. After a year of regular use, the battery is no longer working. It only lasts 6 miles per full charge on standard speed mode. It is more sensible to replace the battery at the repair shop than it is to do so at the store. The longevity of Segways is not the best.

3. Razor EcoSmart Metro Electric Scooter

Razor EcoSmart Metro Electric Scooter

Brand: Razor

👤The battery died in 85 days and was found out of the 90-day return window. No one followed up. Oh, Ah!

👤I was not sure what to expect. I've seen many reviews of videos on the internet. The weight is my only critique. It is heavy. If you have to carry it up the stairs every time you use it, I don't recommend it. The parts are readily available from local bike shops. They are standard bike parts. Powerful enough for most use. It's fast enough to get around the city streets. The top speed is 18mph. On a good day, 21mph on a level street is very heavy. It's about 80 lbs. I wish the range was longer. You can get around 10 miles average range for this E scooter, but it takes longer to charge than you would like. Don't trust it most of the time. Did I mention it is heavy? I strongly recommend this scooter. It is not the best looking or the fastest, but it does get the job done. I plan to upgrade the battery to lithium in the near future. It will add more range, less weight, and faster top speed. I hope this review helps you. Have fun!

👤I learned a lesson when I didn't read reviews. Everything seemed to be fine when the product arrived. We put the gift together so the kids could play with it. Everything worked well after we followed all the directions. We plugged it in when it was done. The scooter didn't respond when we went to ride it two days later. We plugged the charge in correctly and charged it up again. Nothing. We had to repack the heavy scooter and exchange it for a lighter one. This is something that happens often and the only thing that was offered was a refund. We were told to take it to a store that would ship it. No way that was happening. The box is large. They agreed to have the delivery company pick it up. We received our money. I wouldn't want someone else to go through the same thing. I want you to understand the risk before you buy.

👤72 years old and learning new things. This razor is what I needed for taking along with me when I go camping or just getting around my neighborhood. I'm about 142 pounds. The one thing that caught me by surprise was the speed at which it accelerated when first taking off, as this razor has a lot of power, so it's important to keep the knob on the handle slow. We camp a lot and find our old legs can't power a regular bike with many gears. The razor has made a huge difference in that regard, and we turn heads when we answer questions about its cost and power. The weight is a big deal for us as we have to load and unload. The Ford Explorer is perfect for the Razor. The Razor doesn't fit in the back of the Honda CRV we tried to fit it in. The two Allen screws that hold the handle bar on help the Razor to fit better in the back of our explorer and gives us more room to fit another bike in with the Razor for travel. The Razor isn't light in weight so it's heavy to carry. It takes two people to do this task. We saved for a second one for my husband because we were so happy with the Razor. Before I bought this Razor, I had to read every review and it came out ahead in power, cost and reliability. The extra two year warranty was a personal choice for me. I received my Razor on July 5th after purchasing it on July 1st. I waited until now to give it a review because I wanted to make sure my review was based on more time used than other reviews I've read. I was very excited to ride my new Razor. I took my first ride after charging it for three hours. I was sold. All my neighbors had questions about it. I was very proud to answer all of them. My Dad gave it a try. He is 5'10 and 170 lbs. We didn't adjust the seat or bar height for him. The razor pulled him with ease and he had no problem with it. When I climbed the small hills around camp, my indicator light showed me a low battery, but I went back to show him a good charge after the road straightened out. After that charge, I gave that Ohio hill another try and this time it was perfect. I put the trash in the basket on the back and take it to the dumpster. I keep my cell phone there as well. The roads in the campgrounds have been paved. One of our side streets was being resurfaced. I challenged the scooter to those bumpy road tests and it was still great, a tad bumpy but good. The wide tires and nice seat made a big difference for me. Everyone wants to know how fast it will go. It was fast enough for me. A lot of quality is found in this scooter. The directions indicate easy assembly. Hope this helps.

4. Mongoose Kids Tire Scooter Grey

Mongoose Kids Tire Scooter Grey

The rear wheel drive has increased traction and control. This is not an electric scooter. 12 inch air filled bike style tires, rides over bumps on paved and non paved surfaces, riding around the neighborhood or urban cruising. BMX bike style handle bars and hand brakes are easy to stop and build confidence in. The wide foot deck makes it easy to balance and stable while coasting. It looks like a bike, but it's not inline skate wheel scooters. If you want to grind a side walk on the way to the park, you need the 2 axle pegs. The deck is 33" high at the handle bar and 48" long from wheel to wheel.

Brand: Mongoose

👤Make sure that you have all the necessary tools and the right amount of time to take it to a bike shop for assembly before you order this scooter. If it is not assembled correctly, your child's life may be at risk if they use it on Public Street. There are tools needed. The Allen wrench has a 6mm diameter. A box end wrench or sockets 3. Utility knife or cable cutter. There is an air pump or compressor. I paid for this scooter myself and was not compensated in any way for the review. It is larger than a kick scooter. It can handle riders of over 150 lbs. It is too big for a child under the age of 7. The box says age 8+. I have to put the rear seat down to get it in a standard car because there is no folding provision. It glides over most bumps, cracks, andIrregularities because it has nice 12” wheels. The storm drain covers are still dangerous. The packaging was good. The box said that it shouldn't be placed on its side and didn't show any signs of being damaged. The scooter had all the parts in a box and it was difficult to pull them out. I used wire scissors to cut off zip ties and remove paper and plastic from the parts. The wheels are not flat. There will be an air pump needed. The chuck on the valve stem would not fit between the hub and rim if the hand pump that holds it wasn't able to fit between the hub and rim. I needed to use my compressor. If your bike pump doesn't fit, take the wheels to a service station for air before attaching them to the frame The construction quality is comparable to that produced in China. The rear brake pads were tightened out of alignment. The brake pads are likely to be adjusted. The brake cable ferrules are not crimped correctly and will fall off. Put a drop of super glue in it, tap it in place, wrap the wire end in electrical tape, or use a short piece of shrink tube on the end. The handlebars aren't attached. You will need to position the handlebars. I was able to do this with one hand, but a second person would make it easier. The handlebars need to be tightened and the cables need to be attached. There are two cables on the right for the rear brake and one on the left for the left brake handle. It's not difficult to adjust the brakes, just take your time. 1. The cable is at the rear calipers. 2. Route the cables from the right brake lever to the upper cable stop. 3. The beaded end should be slid sideways into the detangler if you screw the barrel adjusters all the way into the upper cable stop. 4. Pull the brake cable from the calipers if the rear brake calipers are closed. 5. The cable clamp nut needs to be tightened. 6. The wheel will turn freely and stop easily if the brakes are adjusted at the calipers, lever and detangler. The front brakes, 1. The cable is at the front calipers 2. Push the cable up into the head tube to reach the brake lever. 3. Align the slots in the barrel adjuster, nut and break lever with the help of a screw. 4. Feed the cable into the slot on the barrel adjuster by opening the round opening under the break lever. 5. The barrel should be turned 12 turn. 6. Pull the cable tight if the front brake calipers are closed. 7. The nut for the caliper cable is 8. The front wheel will turn freely and stop easily if the brake lever is engaged. The assembly took 40 minutes from the time the box arrived. I provided detailed instructions on how to assemble the scooter so that potential buyers can make an informed decision. My daughter had a scooter. She was gauged to gauge her interest and ability. She didn't use her scooter much until she was seven. She has worn it out in the past 3 months. This is not a review of that scooter. She couldn't keep up with her friends and small bumps caused her to fall and she was afraid of the streets in our neighborhood. She can keep up with her friends now that she has the mongoose. The kids prefer her scooter over any other brand. My daughter says it is a solid 5 and I gave it a five because she is the one who rides it every day. I removed the axel pegs from the rear of the vehicle after she hit them with her ankle on her first test ride. I am not sure if I will keep them on or not after I reattached them.

Brand: Jetson Electric Bike

👤Cute. I had to return it because my dog refused to use it.

👤I bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it. The added light up feature in the handles with a click of a button is awesome, and the wheels light up when you scoot on it. At night time, it's super bright. The quality is excellent. My son takes a lot of wear and tear. The product is great.

👤This is a scooter that I love. It was nicely packaged and assembled. I had some trouble unfolding it but figured it out after a while. My son takes this scooter everywhere and can go nowhere without getting a compliment. The lights make it stand out, it's sturdy and well put together, and all for a great price. Will purchase another when he's done with this one.

👤The quality is good but the foot board is too short and the weight is distributed to the front so my kids are falling forward. 3 months later. The wheel came off completely. My son only hurt his elbow when he went over the handle bars. The lights are either not on or not turning off. Hunk of junk. His last scooter lasted a year before he was forced to pay a toll.

👤I bought this scooter for my nephew. The wheel fell off in 2 weeks. The wheels should not have fallen off.

👤My grandson told me that you have to put batteries in it. He was correct. There is a battery compartment under it. This is one of his favorite things. It looks cool. Highly recommended! The lights on the shaft don't work, but Grandson loves it, so I ordered it.

👤We couldn't figure out how to open it. I ordered a new one because I thought the first one was faulty. The same problem with the second. I tried to call the number that was listed, but there was a recording to send an email. It's so annoying.

👤When my kid starts rolling it, the battery powered light turns off. They only stay on when it is sitting. The color of light is different.

6. LaScoota Adjustable Handlebars Removable Anti Slip

This scooter is self-balancing. Children can steer the scooter by leaning. It helps to develop balance and coordination. The 3 wheels are fun and exciting. The wheels light up in a variety of colors as your child scoots. No batteries needed!

Brand: Lascoota

👤I ordered three scooters, LaScoota, ChromeWheels and Micro. The Micro Mini Kick Scooter is a good item, but I felt a little bit over priced. You get what you paid for. Quality wasn't high enough for a good price. LaScoota is the best price and quality.

👤We try out a lot of scooters and skateboards. My son is obsessed with this one. It came with a helmet, and it has the "cool factor" of the light up wheels. I'm posting a video so you can see how it works out with my son riding both sitting and standing with the seat attachment removed. He uses the toe of his shoes because he's not aware of the brake. I would recommend this scooter for a young child or a toddler who is very tall. The handlebars are high. He doesn't care.

👤I was hesitant to order because I thought the quality might not be as good as it could be. I was wrong. The quality of the scooter is great, the scooter came beautifully packaged. The frame is sturdy, the plastic is thick, and my sons enjoy the lights. My boys are very hard on their toys and we play outside for hours everyday and we will get many years of use out of this scooter. I bought it for my one year old who is able to sit on the seat and touch the ground on the lowest setting and it supports my weight when I ride it without the seat on. I highly recommend this product.

👤My son was excited when it came about 2 weeks before the original arrival date. He was checking the post daily. The quality is excellent. The wheels shine front and back as it turns. The board is large and it is easy to ride. My son loves the helmet and it is very cute. He has been inseparable since. He likes his scooter even better than before. He is a bit tall for the seat and his friends don't have seats, so he hasn't used it. I highly recommend.

👤My grandsons are 6 years old and live in LaScootas. The lights are easy to see indoors. I would love to see them in the dark. That might not be the safest time. . I don't like their construction. There is a lot of plastic. If they hold up, we will know soon. If you know what I mean, one of our boys is very destructive.

👤I bought this scooter for my niece. The product arrived on time but my brother in-law's wheels were not perfect and the light was not on. My niece loved it and wouldn't let it go, so returning it was not an option for me. I told the seller about the situation. She was very helpful after we had a couple of emails. My niece has a scooter with good wheels and all the lights are on, and she got a replacement wheel from her. The product is very good and the addition of the chair makes it even better. My niece drives it and it is very sturdy. The assembly was not a problem according to my brother in-law. The scooter had a helmet. The helmet was not very high quality. My niece is allowed to drive the scooter inside the house and in the backyard with the helmet. I'm giving them a 5 star for the product and the customer service they provide.

Brand: Fulihua

👤The paw patrol fire truck does not work with it. I ordered it for that. I searched for a fire truck that had a charging station, but it didn't work for me.

👤Cheap didn't work for my son.

👤During the move, the original charge was lost. I have been able to use our ride on motorcycle that had been collecting dust.

👤The charge didn't work on my daughter's Mercedes truck.

8. Razor 25143401 Crazy Cart XL

Razor 25143401 Crazy Cart XL

Allek Scooter aims to supply high quality products to make every child enjoy their play. They will try their best to resolve your issues if you are not happy with their scooters. The full-size adult version of the Crazy Cart is a high-powered drift cart for the kid in all of them. The Max Rider weight is 240 lbs. 36V sealed lead acid, quick change. The patented drift system allows the driver to control their drifting. A larger, more powerful 36V rechargeable battery system, a flag, and a lap/shoulder strap are included. The battery life is up to 40 minutes.

Brand: Razor

👤It is very difficult to find replacement rear wheels for this. It's not easy to buy replacement rear wheels on the Crazy Cart XL, but you can jump on the Razor's website. You can't find the replacement wheels on the Razor website, and when you call in you'll be told it's not a problem, but then they'll charge you for the wrong parts and send you the wrong ones. They will escalate the issue to someone else that won't be willing to help you if you contact them to get it corrected. You'll get the run around and waste a lot of time dealing with them, and in the end you won't get what you need. I wish I had not bought it. It would be difficult to get simple replacement parts.

👤The Crazy Cart is fun. My 11 year old got the regular crazy cart. This thing pulls me around like I am stuck on a fishing line, I am 6 feet tall and almost 200 lbs. Both carts do. The rear wheels can be upgraded. You can find Apollo longboard wheels online. There is a group on Facebook called crazy cart modders that has all the great tips and tricks. If you don't want to do the caster upgrade, just buy skateboard wheels. If you want to learn how to drive these carts, go slow at first and learn how to stop. There are great videos on the internet that show how to drive. If you're on the fence between this and a regular go cart, ask yourself if you'd rather have that drift bar to pull at your ready. If the answer is yes, you will not regret it.

👤I ignored what others said when I bought my son a Christmas gift. The ride-on is great, but within a few rides we had a tire issue. The small hard rubber tires blew up. There was no big deal fixing this because Razor included a few extra of these now. The main center rubber tire blew out a week later. You have to disassemble most of the ride-on to change that tire. It took me three hours to complete. It may take others less time, but I am not a mechanic and I really struggled with changing the tire, but once done my son was enjoying the Crazy Cart again. I am going to have to change the center tire again because the tube blew out after a few rides. I dread the task because I know it will take at least an hour. I bought a no-flat tire and tool to help with installation, so hopefully I'll have better luck this time. Maintenance costs and time it takes to fix things are high compared to things like his ride-on hover board and my ride-on lawnmower. He loves it and it is fun. It would be nicer if the center wheel was easier to change.

👤The crazy cart is very unstable and lots of fun. The wheels which others have commented on seem to last hours. We went through two sets of rear wheels in 3 days, and at $45 a pair it severely limits use.

9. Peg Perego Adventure Trailer Black

Peg Perego Adventure Trailer Black

The battery life is up to 40 minutes. The wheels are durable and rugged. Extra capacity for hauling. The weight capacity is 66 pounds. It is compatible with various 12 and 24 watt models.

Brand: Peg Perego

👤My son is happy with his new trailer. This is better than him trying to pull his wagon with a bungee.

👤I had a hard time getting this product together and it wasn't compatible with my child's ride on truck so I had to fake it. If you buy this toy, make sure there is a rectangular hole on the back as you may make the same mistake as me.

👤My son loves his RZR and had been asking for a trailer to haul sticks and things while he was driving. He loves the trailer that we bought for his birthday. It was easy to put together, and it was easy to hitch up. I don't think the red plastic pin will last long. It's cheap and feels like it will break. Hopefully we can find a replacement pin.

👤This isn't for the gators. I thought it could fit the gator, but it doesn't. I had to deal with customer service to get a new hitch piece.

👤This is a toy and not a sturdy carrier for wood.

👤My grandson was able to build this trailer. My job was to read the instructions. He was able to tighten the bolts with the included tools. It's great for moving bricks and firewood.

👤This trailer is great. Our son helps with yard work. The only flaw is the screw that holds the trailer. We bought a longer one to make sure the trailer wouldn't fall off when my son drives it up and over hills.

👤Santa brought my nephew this for Christmas and I bought this for him. It was easy to assemble, and very light to carry from my house to him. It is sturdy despite being light weight. The kids pull each other around.

👤La marca una garanzia. Buone le plastiche e facile. Sembra una solido. Inutile dire quanto sia stato felice mio figlio di ricevere un piccolo rimorchio.

👤Ben fatto. I figlio di tre anni ne innamorato ci carica di tutto.

👤It was a prodotto. Mancava l'asta per le due ruote. I stato rispedito nel giro di qualche giorno. Sono comunque rimasto. Ottima sotto gli aspetti.

👤Unser war von dem Hnger total begeistert. The Hngers war relativ.

👤Prezzo ottimo, perfetto, spedizione velocissima.

10. Huffy Electric Battery Powered Motorcycle Training

Huffy Electric Battery Powered Motorcycle Training

The LEGO Creator Expert Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle measures over 20 cm high, over 18 cm wide and over 33 cm long. This cool motorcycle ride-on is ideal for ages 2 to 5 and a rider weight less than 65 lbs. The fun starts when your child hits the right red button on the grip, then the engine and the sound of the horn greet the rider, and the red button on the left grip is loud and clear. The frame's bright color is irresistible to the eye and the design seems so real. The ride-on goes up to 2 mph and has plenty of action for fun. The battery can deliver up to 40 minutes of continuous run time on a single charge. Convenient wall charging is included. The battery-charging port is located by the right footrest.

Brand: Huffy

👤The title says I'm not happy. When it came, it said 6Volt. They said I could have purchased a 6 V for less. 12 V. It took me 4 hours to get it all together, I didn't realize it was 6 V. It doesn't go through my grandson's yard, not happy at all!

👤A child that has been waiting for a toy to arrive was disappointed when most parts were missing.

👤It is hard to assemble. It's almost impossible to return an item for a refund if it's missing parts. It goes very slow even though my Todd was able to ride it. I don't think this is a good idea.

👤One of the sane parts should have been left. Right, but it's also the sam. I put a picture of the merchandise on the photo part when I put it out the box to assemble it. Thank you. I can either return it or fix it.

👤The battery doesn't stay charged for long. It is small and extremely slow and not suitable for a child over 4 years old.

👤My nephew loved the bike when he was 3 years old.

👤After struggling with the first bike, this one was a lot easier to put together.

👤It was the perfect size for my son. It does not drive on grass. Other than that. He likes it.

👤My son loves it, it is easy to assemble.

👤My daughters are 4 years old and 1.5 years old. Excellent build, really nice. I got the pink Y-200 for my 4 yo and the red Y-100 for my 1.5 yo. I noticed some differences. You can see pics as well. 1. The Y-200 needed assembly. Two steps. Attach the collar clamp with the handlebar/steering rod. The Y-100 will just fold down to travel, while the Y-200 requires a disassemblement to do that. The Y-200 is easy to disassemble. Both are easy to transport. 2. When fully extended, the Y-100 is 0.2 in taller than the Y-200. The seat on the Y-200 is wider. I did not adjust the seat height yet, but the Y-200 goes highest according to the manual. I believe it's possible to double check the exact height differences of the two cases. The Y-200 has a slightly wider foot deck. It's not sure if it's an optical illusion. You can see for yourself in pictures. 5. The two back wheels on the Y-200 are different from the one back wheel on the Y-100 6. The Y-100 seat twisted into the front when it flipped up, while the Y-200 seat only flipped up. 7. There is no music or disco light in the Y-200. The Y-100 has a disco light. There are 8. Both have flashing light wheels. There are 9. Both have to tilt their heads. I haven't given these yet to my girls. Will need to write a follow-up. Very pleased with what we got. I hope the pictures show the differences between the two.

👤My grandson loves this dog. I got it for his birthday, but he found it early. It's a shame. He said my schoo is cool.

👤My son can't get enough of it, I bought it for him. Light up wheels are very cool and great quality. It's very strong and safe. Will recommend this item to my friends.
