👤I bought this tool because I wanted to prove that it was as good as the one he had. I was correct. I am happy I bought this tool since it is 1/3 of the price and it is as good as his very expensive SNAP ON tool. I'm very satisfied with what I've seen so far and I'm eager to write my 1 Year Ownership Review since I can predict that this tool will age and hold up very well. They made the extended version. Hope this review serves well and encourages others to purchase it.
👤Less than 6 months old, used less than 10 times the battery charger. The tool is rendered useless by works. The return window is closed and there is no option to contact kimo. Don't waste your money on this scam. You would be better off going to harbor freight and getting one that will fail in 3 months but at least they will replace their products when they fail. Kimo won't sell just the charger, it's a scam to get $118 dollars.
👤It breaks less than a minute into use after being bought. It was stored for 3 months and now it happens. I had a replacement sent right away after I was contacted by their customer service via email. Everything worked well with the replacement. I'm happy with it, but I'm even happier with the effort that was put into making sure I was taken care of. If you purchase a faulty ratchet, they will replace it without questions and honor their product warranty. The customer service is great.
👤I bought this Kimo tool after doing a spark plug change on my truck. I believe it was a real pita without this tool. After completing the job I decided to get a tool to use on my other vehicles. I read several reviews on Kimo tools and watched a few videos. The Kimo brand was somewhat liked by other people. I'm usually not sure. I decided to give Kimo a try after a few days of research because I don't mind spending a little extra for quality tools that get the job done right. The extended version arrived the day before I started the brake job on my wife's Lexus. I can't say anything else. I was impressed with the Kimo Power Ratchet. The tool is of the highest quality. It made the Lexus brake job easier. I've used the Kimo Power Ratchet to assemble steel garage shelves, spark plugs changes on 2 other cars, and disassemble a neighbors hospital bed since I had this power rachet for 21 days. The Kimo Power Ratchet was flawless. I regret not purchasing it sooner. This is the first Kimo tool I've ever purchased, but it won't be the last.
👤I work as a service technician. Always in need of a tool. I was looking for a new 1 on Amazon when I had a snap on the electric 1/2 threp. I kept seeing this in ads and wanted to read reviews. I wanted to try it out after reading the information about the tool. Shipping was fast. I was impressed when I took the tool out of the package. The finish is amazing. It feels like it will hold up. The Alex is bright. The ratchet is not loud. The mini tool bag has sockets, batteries, and a charger in it. I am very impressed with the quality. I will write a new review once I remove the bolts. I have some engine jobs lined up to put this bad boy to work.
The AirCat Line is the most significant advances in pneumatic power tools. The Premium XR 2-Kit has a DCF894 1/2 in. The mid-range impact wrench is in the same size as the DCF890. The impact wrench is compact. Up to 330 ft-lbs max of fastening Torque and 600 ft-lbs of break away Torque is available. The design is lightweight and comfortable when working in tight spaces. The Precision Wrench Control can be used to prevent over-tightening and run-off. The DCF890 is a small and lightweight tool with a head length of only 5.5 inches. The DCF890 is a small and lightweight tool with a head length of only 5.5 inches.
👤I can't believe that you have to read the fine print to figure out that the kit only has one battery and two impact tools. The way to cheapen a kit is deceptive.
👤There is a lot of power and light weight. I am a professional master mechanic and the price and power is better than expected.
👤I bought them for my job as an auto mechanic. Both of them are great tools. I wouldn't use the 1/2 inch for my primary wheel gun. It is nice to not have to carry an air line.
👤The dewalt keeps his money in the shop. We have used them against each other and the dewalt is as good as the snap on impacts.
👤I got this for a graduation gift and he loves it, it was a great price and he can get a 4 year warranty with it. Amazon makes it easy.
👤Great power. Powerful and smooth. Slow down so bolts don't fly off.
👤It makes my job easier.
👤100% of the productos are recommended.
👤Cumple estoy fuertes, pero desempe estoy un exelente.
There are hand stamped markings. The 1/2 inch impact wrench has up to 700 ft-lbs of max Torque and 1200 ft-lbs of max breakaway Torque. The DEWALT 1/2 inch impact wrench has a compact design and is only 6.0 lbs. The impact wrench has multi-speed control for a variety of applications. Heavy Duty 1/2-inch Anvil with a detent pin. The light has a delay of 20 seconds for increased visibility. The light has a delay of 20 seconds for increased visibility.
👤The beast is heavy, but that's how it is. The battery life is good. There is a The sockets are held in place by a tight detent pin. But after a while, it may loosen up. Hold on, it's a wrist twister. The Pros it's a wrist twister. There is a The battery and charging point are fast. The warranty covers a lot. It is working as expected so far.
👤Be careful with this impact wrench. There is a cheaper version of the 20V Max that is only rated at 300 ft-lbs. This one is over 700 lbs. If you are serious about working on things, the extra money is worth it.
👤I bought this for the purpose of removing nuts, but I would rather have more power than I need. I tried the second speed and it has enough power to get the job done, after I rotation my tires the nuts came off like butter. I recommend the 1st speed for fastening, you should always start by hand and use a Torque wrench to Torque to the specifications in your owner's manual. The 1st speed will save you from blowing something apart. It is very inexpensive when compared to other similar specifications.
👤The Impact Wrench has a lot of power. I have several Porter Cable tools, so when I needed a Impact Wrench, I went with Porter Cable. That was a mistake. I don't use an Impact Wrench often, I am not a mechanic, so I couldn't justify the cost of the Dewalt. I needed to remove the tire from the Porter Cable because it was old. The Porter Cable was not able to budge them; 105 ft/lbs seemed to be the limit of the Impact Wrench. I knew it was time for a change when it failed to remove the lower shock mount bolt. I settled on the Dewalt XR DCF899M1 after a lot of research. What a change. This impact wrench is still working for me. You can feel the power of the wrench by pulling the Trigger. The tire shop loosened the nuts after a few impacts. It is a pleasure to use the Impact Wrench and know it will remove the nut. This is probably the most money I have ever spent on a single tool, but it was worth it.
👤I removed my front tires, calipers and brackets. To be sure of which direction the bit would move, I had to be careful not to apply too much Torque. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to ditch the air tub. If you need auto repairs, remove a tire. After the work, the battery had plenty of life. Didn't charge it out of the box. There are 3 settings. I don't know the Torque per setting but be careful with the 3rd setting. Only use it to remove bolts that are stubborn. It is powerful!
👤Powerful! Reliable! It's versatile! An old man that can't always break loose machine tightened lug nuts will benefit from this tool. I saved the day when I had to change an RV tire in the middle of nowhere.
LIABLE DURABILITY. Every component, mechanism, and function has undergone rigorous testing to ensure long- lasting performance. The right angle drill adaptor has a front-to-back design. The right angle drill attachment has magnetism. Impact Drivers allow users to drill or drive with the DEWALT right angle attachment. Impact Drivers allow users to drill or drive with the DEWALT right angle attachment.
👤After using this, my bit got stuck in the slot, I was very excited to try it out. I intended to use multiple different bits with this tool, but it's impossible to remove it. This is a poor quality control and a big fan of Dewalt. Especially for this price point. When they reach back to me, I will update my review.
👤There is a hole in the back of the model. It was worth it to go to Lowes to get the recipe.
👤I tried to put a screwdriver bit into it, but it swallowed it up and stuck it in there, I know better now that it will only accept long screwdrivers, or use an extension. Considering that the most common bits are the shorter ones, combined with the fact that the unit itself needs to be somewhat compact, or it won't fit into the spaces you're using a right angle driver adapter for in the first place, I was surprised to see this. It works well if there is a problem. Extending it's size can't do anything other than decrease the likelihood that you'll find a space to use it in. milwaukee has some options that allow regular bits, as well as stand alone full time right angle drivers and also ones with twist locking chucks. I might jump ship to one of those now that I've experienced this one. There is a The driver attachment is the same cost. Stubbier bits would be accepted in the first place.
👤I used this product to make a hole and it works. The ability to change the length is nice. There are no problems with the bit getting stuck in the chuck.
👤It is strong. If you apply enough force with your thumb, it will work. The tool jumps out of the screw easily if there is a way to do that. If you work on wood that is very hard, this is true. It is important that you include the space for your hand when estimating the clearness of the tool. There is a small hole in the tool that allows you to insert a paper pin if you want to remove a short bit. This is nice. You don't need a needle nose plier to remove the short bit. I received a package that was carefully cut open so the tool could be removed from it and put back after I opened it. Someone had a need to use it for a short time and intended to return it to Amazon at the end of their purchase. Amazon might think it's still good enough to resell it as new to me if they didn't check it out to see if it was a used item. There are scratches on it. After testing the tool, I decided to keep it. I think he or she needed the tool to finish something important but couldn't afford it, but he or she had a good use of it. I try to think in a positive way.
The design is lightweight and compact for comfort. The design fits into tight areas. Visibility is provided without shadows by three (3) lights with 20 second delay after release. A hog ring anvil is used to change sockets. The anti-slip grip has a textured surface. The anti-slip grip has a textured surface.
👤This is the only Dewalt tool I have that is not a 5 star. I have a lot of different tools and batteries. The stupid ring to hold the sockets on is the only draw back. It takes a plastic hammer and banging to get sockets on. Why would you do that? It has a lot of power and batteries last a long time if you get a sockets on. I am breaking down a Ford engine that will only handle the head and main bolts. The exhaust bolts that have been on since 77 were broken loose. You have a winner if you fix the ring.
👤I bought this tool for work as I am a mechanic. I own other Dewalt products so the batteries are compatible, so buying the impact was a smart investment. If you don't have any other 20V batteries, you will need the set that comes with the batteries and the charger. I bought this for its convenience and the fact that I can do anything without a hose attached. It's great because the unit is small enough to get into tight areas and the flashlight on the front illuminates what you are working on without needing to hold a flashlight. The impact has a lot of Torque and has loosened most of the bolts I've seen, but it has a lot of Torque for most applications. I use a 2amp battery because it's lighter and I don't want to hurt my arm holding it for a while. It's not a big deal. I like the idea of having the 2 Amp batteries last for a week or so, but it depends on the job it is for, and I find the 2 Amp batteries last about one week. The purchase was a good one and the price was just right, as it has held up from various drops and bumps and it's still running strong. I'm happy that it's in my tool box and would recommend it to anyone.
👤I told my wife that this is the best tool I have ever bought. I have been wanting a driver like this for a long time, but my concern was that it might be too powerful, and so I didn't buy it. The size and weight are small and not overpowering. I ran it for 6 hours last weekend after attaching metal siding. It did a great job. I used a drill to do the job before I got this. The weekend before I used this, I removed all sorts of screws and nuts from my Polaris RZR. I find it hard to believe that some people use power to remove nuts from cars. I changed a tire on my moto over the weekend and it didn't break the 90 nm ones. It was great to remove and re-enact the broken lugs. This driver will be used a lot. I also have other tools that share the same batteries.
👤This unit and the 1/2 inch unit above it did not do what the company said it would do, and that's very sorry. Not close! The lawn mower deck has bolts on it to remove blades. It's not possible to put a car wheel on a car. They were sent back each time they thought the next one would work. It didn't. I was hoping that the simplicity of a small impact tool would make life easier. It looks like I have to use a compressor. No such luck with the 3/8" and even better 1/2". Thank you for your return policy!
The high run time and long battery life of the M12 REDLITHIUM battery is excellent value. Their design is lightweight and powerful. The wrench is made with high-quality materials for fast and easy removal. A built-in light and an alloy steel head are great for work in tight and dark spaces. It's a perfect tool for construction, auto repair, and even home repair work. Their tool has a powerful 170 RPM (No Load Speed) that allows users to cover a wide range of different tasks, unlike other brands that only offer tools with singular features. The soft grip design provides comfort for long working hours and a secure grip for maximum control. Users can use the power tool with a safe, peace of mind because of the slim body design. 👤It's a go-to for most of my work now. The price and good reviews made me choose this over the Milwaukee series. Even though the batteries are small, the life of the battery is amazing. Can get through a lot of jobs with a single battery. I've used it for a lot of work. The bolts can be bust loose if the thread size and Torque is not right. Significantly cuts down time taking things down. Use this to crack it with impact. Zip it back on and use a Torque wrench to tighten it. This wrench is for love. The light is bright in dark places.
👤I have used air ratchets my whole life and this is the first time I have used a battery ratchet. This is the first time I have held a battery ratchet. It seems to be under powered. I only used it once to replace coil springs, which are always tighter than top engine stuff. The only thing that was impressive was that it bottomed out the nut on top of the strut. It wouldn't remove any other nuts, but I expected that because of the tight suspension. I am not very happy. I am not disappointed yet.
👤This item is being returned because it is so useful and handy, not because it isn't a good tool, but because I like it so much.
👤This is a brush driven motor setup and it is noisy. There is no potentiometer in the triggering circuit, so it is either full on or full off. The led light only comes on when the arbor is engaged. There is a This is not meant to be a fancy name brand and is not near the price of one. It does a good job. It uses li-ion batteries. It has served me well the past few months, but I can't remember the voltage. Do not use the electrical motor to break retainers. If you use a wrench or solid ratchet, use this tools action. I don't like seeing people misuse a good tool.
👤This animal is very large. It has a little weight to it, but it is doable, no matter what you do. It says it has 45 lbs of Torque. I don't know if it's true, but I think it's perfect for getting those hard to reach fasteners. I do not need a carrying case. For the money, it's pretty darn good.
👤I like the balance of the tool. AC Delco has great engineering and design, and is with my best pick Chevrolet Silverado truck. I expect years of great operation and great customer service. I bought the AC Delco electric ratchet because of that. Thank you.
👤I was able to use this between the engine and the firewall of my Buick enclave to replace my catalytic converters, but the shops wouldn't give me a price. The tool did it in four hours and it was carful in tight areas. I used the battery for 4 hours and never lost power. It works as a breaker bar, and acdelco hit a home run on it.
Led light and fuel gauge help you to work in dark areas. You can charge the battery in time if the battery indicator tells you the real-time level. There is a power tools accessory case. 72 tooth suck for high Torque. The grip bit driver is durable and comfortable for the mechanics tool set. DirectTorque Technology is a technology. The chrome vanadium finish is polished. The chrome vanadium finish is polished.
👤For the price they make you pay, I do love my DeWalt products. If you are at a mechanic just starting in the field, there should be more sockets for each size. If you have to wait an extra couple of weeks, then you should get a Kobalt/Craftsman/harbor freight 200+ piece set. Again, does the job, but not all the jobs.
👤I'm a late bloomer when it comes to fixing things around the house. Getting low on funds and having time on my hands gave me incentives to learn how to fix things. I always remember that millions of people before me faced the same difficulty and were able to make an appropriate repair. I usually sit back and think about the simplest solution. If that doesn't work, you can go to the internet and see how other people have tackled the same problem. I started using DeWalt's battery-powered tools when I was working on my landscaping in our large yard. I picked up some of their tools for work inside the house. DeWalt has always been considered to be putting together high quality products that are easy to use. I looked at DeWalt when I was looking for a new tool kit. The kit has all the sockets, keys, and tools I need, both in standard and metric sizes. I wanted a set that was tough because I can put a lot of Torque on a tool. These are made of steel and are engraved as far as the sizes will allow. The tool box itself is one of the major drawbacks of other sets. The DeWalt set is in a strong case. I don't like it when the tools in a set drop out of their intended places and have to be put back in. No problem with this set. I wouldn't consider this set overpriced for what you get. There is a large variety of sizes and configurations in the case. I don't think I've ever seen a more cost-effective price.
👤There are so many great things I love about this set. It's about how well made everything is, how convenient having 3 different sizes of ratchets is, and how much I love having an extra storage box built-in for any extra bits and pieces I've collected over the years... I will not because I'm sure you don't have all day. I will get to the bad things. I wish the yellow box was bigger. That's all. I'm in love with this set. It gives me a workout when I use it. It's worth it. This is a nice set that has everything. I bought it because I wanted something that could hold a few extras inside the case so I didn't have them hanging around loose, and because I love the Dewalt power tools so I thought they'd make a quality set of ratchets. Check and check. If you don't want the box, they make a smaller kit that's just as nice. If not better than the Craftsman sets I've had over the years. I suppose they could have added a breaker bar. It's a good thing.
It is possible to have exceptional accessibilty. The top mounted dead handle gives you additional leverage for difficult underbody work, while the swept-back handle gives you excellent maneuverability and control. A hog ring anvil is used to change sockets. 400 ft.-lbs of maximum Torque to perform a wide range of fastening applications The fuel gauge in the XR Li-Ion batteries provides more capacity than standard packs. The electric brake provides user improved control. The electric brake provides user improved control.
👤Quiet and fast. The car's wheels were easy to take. It can be used to seat the lug nuts without over tightening them, which will allow a proper Torque wrench to be used for the remaining turns. The bolts and nuts of the car are usually higher in Torque than the bolts and nuts of the truck. An air powered wrench may be cheaper, but the cost of an air compressor, hoses, and fittings make the Dewalt an excellent option for casual brake and chassis work. The noise an air compressor makes is bad for home personal use and this makes it easier for me to deal with it. I have a lot of friends that want me to check out their brakes before they have them fixed, because they are afraid of being ripped off. I can take my floor jack and use it to zip the tires off and look at the brakes in about 5 minutes. It's portable when I need to help a friend change their tires. Great buy. I would use this more than my air powered tools if I still had an auto shop.
👤I love this thing. I have beenUpgrading my older 18v Dewalt tools and this has been a great upgrade over the 18v model. The forward/reverse activation on the 20v is a more traditional thumb button than the rockertrigger on the 18v model. I hated the PIA detent pin because I was not sure if they had a hog-ring style on the 18v and I purchased that one. The hog-ring uses a compression ring around the nub to get the sockets. It is easy to get sockets on/off but still snug enough to prevent accidental release. The detent model is designed so that you need a tool to push the pin in to remove the sockets, which for me was simply overkill for what I needed for my application.
👤The most expensive tool I have ever purchased. I think it is the best and most life saving tool. I have also bought it. This thing will remove most of the nuts and bolts from my Jeep. It comes with 2 batteries and a charger. . The indicator light shows how much battery is left. Is that a nut? It comes off like you tightened it. Don't use this to tighten things, it will destroy what you are trying to tighten.
👤The air impact wrench was hard to use, and I wanted to take off the wheel axle nuts, but I didn't want to drag the compressor and hose over. The batteries are interchangeable with my screw gun and impact driver, so I have 5 batteries between the three.
👤The batteries that come with this thing last for a long time. The need for a compressor and air impact has been eliminated. It is not as heavy as an air compressor, air hose and impact gun, but it should be enough for most people. I am pretty sure that it will break if left running. Curios will have to add that one soon to know how strong this is. It's funny. It was worth every cent.

👤I put the tool to use. One of the batteries was fully charged and the other was not. It was used to remove bolts from a truck. I wasn't expecting it to have the strength it does, and it did. I was able to turn the bolts with a few edges and then the ratchet spun them off with ease. The top speed is pretty high. I don't have a measuring instrument, so I got with the specifications. The blow molded box is better than a tool bag because you have to hunt for items. Nothing rattles or falls when the sockets are held firmly. I am pleasantly surprised, but it will take time to see how it holds up. The rear bumper was installed on a truck. M12 bolts are used. The bolts were tightened with ease with the help of the ratchet. As I use it more, I will keep updating. Hope this helps.
👤The two brake caliper bolts on the rear of my BMW were removed with the help of this. It is a tight fit and you have to get a wrench back behind the brake caliper. The bolt connection can be loosened using the sockets 2 and 3. I've used a gimbal. It takes a while to get the bolt off. It was off in a fraction of the time. I'll turn it back on in a fraction of the time. I just put my Torque wrench on it and set it to spec. For tight spaces and for when I need a sockets for things, this will come in very handy. I can leave my portable screwdriver as a screwdriver and keep it in sockets. I would have to change my attachments. It has a lot of power and spends a lot of time. This is one of the best portable power tools I have. I think it's a good idea.
👤I was looking for a right angle drill. The Bosch, Milwaukee, and Dewalt were too expensive and you had to purchase the battery and the charger separately, which really increased the cost. I saw this one by Shield Pro and a few others on Amazon. I used it on my vehicles for general maintenance and it was worth the price because I could get in areas that were difficult or cumbersome with a wrench or regular handled sockets. I just completed installing a new battery, fuel rail sensor, and a new ac cooling fan in my vehicles, which was completed in less than an hour, and it was more convenient with this item! The product is great value and comes with 2 batteries. At a great price. It makes the job much easier to do without the headaches of messing with other tools that are hard to fit in some areas. Buy it and you won't regret it.
👤Every now and then, someone invents or develops a tool or product that stands out among the rest, that actually works and does the job intended, and a little bit more. The battery powered electric tool has helped me cut down on the time I spend in my workspace. I like that this design has a battery meter and a spot light that is pointed towards where the sockets are being used. Simple genius. I don't need to use my compressor or listen to the noise from my air tools. I wish I had that tool when I worked on cars. The batteries hold a significant charge and have cut my work time by half. I would love to see this come with a set of Allen sockets as well. The engineer's and designers did a great job. If they could make a car that could fix itself and cure the cold. It's funny.
Hello, welcome, you have worked hard! Thank you for choosing their product. If the product has quality problems within 2 years, please contact them before making an evaluation. They will give you a full refund. Thanks for your cooperation. 24 hours customer service is convenient for customers. 30% more Torque is achieved by the Brushless 3/8-inch Cordless Impact Wrench. The impact wrench is 30% shorter. The battery impact wrench has a brushless motor. There is a square drive. Control in a variety of applications is possible with 3 mode settings. There are 3 lights for illumination on the work surface. At 1.73 lbs is lightweight. The batteries have a state of charge indicator. The batteries have a state of charge indicator.
👤It's very easy to handle and it comes with 2 batteries. Torque and ft.per lbs are incorrect. The item and wrench can Torque up to 65 lbs per foot. Will not break anything over 69 lbs per ft.
👤Not strong enough to remove the suspension bolts on my honda civic. It won't take off the screws. It is for very light work. I watched videos of a guy going into a junkyard and taking bolts from cars. I couldn't charge my batteries on my own car. I don't think it would work for rusty bolts. I own a 18v ryobi that destroys things. I can take off the 80lb batteries with the dead battery on the Ryobi. It's light and good for taking off once you break the bolt.
👤Absolutely surprised by how strong this is. It's a lot smaller and lighter than my impact, and it's equal to my impact as far as taking the nuts off. I used it to change a crank seal, remove the crank bolt, and run a 3 jaw puller to remove the crank pulley, all on the day I got it. Then used it to reassemble everything and use 2 battery bars. Since it comes with 2 batteries, it's a good idea to finish the entire job on one battery.
👤The item from DeWalt is a quality item. I am confident that it will meet my needs when called upon, but haven't had the chance to see it yet. I will no longer use air tools for the cordless versions. I have invested in DeWalt 12 and 20v max tools for both garage and yard because my needs as a mechanic at home are winding down, and my air compressor is still going strong but the air tools are at end of life. It has been wonderful.
👤I use this for my car. It doesn't have the power to loosen the nuts on my wheel, but it does a good job of putting the nuts back on to be Torqued. It works well for removing the M6's from my Volvo. Think it can reach 20 lbs-ft with a few seconds of impact. It's small and fits into the small spaces in my car. An impact rated extension set is a must have. It's easy to carry around and the battery lasts forever for an average user like me. It feels good in the hand.
👤I haven't been able to remove the nuts with this. I didn't buy it for that. Works well under automotive fasteners and 13mm head size.
👤These are getting better and better. I decided to get the 12v version because I own the 20volt version. You would expect 12 volts from this thing. Slow ramp up, slow, and fast are nice. The batteries have charge indicators. And a bag. If you ever need a battery, just buy the combo pack, it will cost you 60 dollars. I mean for 40 dollars more. The pack has a second battery, a drill, a charging station, and a bag.

👤I'm returning the ARW1209 because I didn't fulfill the product description, and I haven't verified its robustness in use. "Variable speed paddle with electronic brake for control and flexibility." The variable speed feature is in the manual. The ARW1209 doesn't have a variable speed and doesn't brake when you release it. In constrained spaces, there is no way to gently push the sockets into alignment with the nut or bolt. There is no way to jog a nut or bolt slowly home. The 10-inch length is well balanced and light weight. I measured the weight without a battery, 2.35 lbs, and 2.75 lbs. Unlike some competitors, the ratchet has anLED for lighting the work. When you first depress the lever, other ratchets will show the LEDs, so you can see while maneuvering the sockets onto the nut or bolt. To get some light, you have to have the ramp running full speed because the ARW1209's Trigger is only on/off for the motor andLED. The single speed, lack of braking, and the only light being on while running all encourage you to jam the sockets onto the fastenings. This is the tool you get when there is only one on-off switch, with not even the minimal electronics that would make it work with you.
👤I received this product and I can't say anything about it. I can tell you that the electric wrench does not Torque to 45 Lbs/ft as stated by the manufacturer. I bolted a nut on a bicycle with this tool and then added an electronic torque adaptor and set a tracer that checks the setting just before it turns loose. The weight was 16.9 lbs/ft. On full charge, around 15-17 lbs/ft. I checked for accuracy with my click Torque wrench. I plan to loosen this after breaking a bolt loose and then Torque them to specifications. I hope I don't regret this purchase. I wanted to purchase this wrench to tighten to a light snug less than 10 lbs/ft of Torque so I wouldn't strip any bolt. Hopefully the batteries don't fail and the think doesn't fall apart. The fact that the Torque was false is a bit strange. The price on this should be more like $30 bucks if it is at 15 lbs./ft.
👤Last week, I received the new ACDelco ARW1209. This is a very well built ratchet. It is very well-made and feels heavy-duty. The manual says the tool weighs 1.96 lbs., but it feels heavier than that. It works great despite being a tad bit noisy. It's rated up to 45 lbs-ft. max Torque, and that seems accurate based on my use so far. It can be counter-clockwise or clockwise. You can tighten and remove bolts. I haven't had the chance to use it extensively on any large repair jobs yet, but just trying it out on a few bolts, it works great. When you press the variable-speed switch, the light illuminates and points to the anvil. It gives you more light for working in poorly-lit places. It only took a few minutes to top it off with the included charger because the Li-ion battery came with almost a full charge. The tool is well packaged, with a printed user manual, illustrated parts list, and warranty sheet. ACDelco has improved their game with this new piece of equipment. I am very pleased with my purchase so far. I will update this review after I've had a chance to use it more often. Reporting back after using this on a brake repair job. It was a huge time and effort saver. I used it to remove the bolts from the brakes. Once you break the bolts loose, the Torque was enough to remove all of them. I was able to remove and replace all the bolts without having to use the battery, so it had plenty of power and "oomph" to get the job done. I would highly recommend the ratchet.
