👤My teenage son likes this. He can't use loud shavers because they hurt his ears. This razor is very sharp. Saving on his skin was smooth as well. I ordered 3 more for my family for Christmas. Is that what it is?

👤Only like this. I have had all the electrics. I washed the razor and put the shaving head in the box. I have never had a better shave. I have a "dimpled" chin with all my razors. I had to use tweezers to get my chin and ears when I was on Honor guard. My chin and ears were cleared by this razor shaving head. The forehead, nose, and neck are smooth. I got a perfect shave. That is worth more stars.

👤I don't have a nose hair trimmer, so I bought a razor worth 100 dollars. It looks great and is not worse than my $ 100shaver. I don't need to worry about charging because my nose hair is clean. I trimmed my nose hair twice and it still has 98% of the power. The charger is easy to use. I have to find a Japanese outlet to charge my Panasonic shaver. My Panasonic shaver is more comfortable for shaving my beard. This one can be used at a relatively small angle when shaving. The cleaning ability is the same as the other one. I think it is worth more than the cost of a single nose hair trimmer.

👤I wanted to love it for the price. It was weaker after the first charge. The second charge was worse. 3rd wouldn't finish the first shave and wouldn't hold a charge. The concept, features and price are great. It falls short. They always bought Norelco's and needed a new blade by the end of the year, but they ran and ran.

👤After a while, this was no longer working, so it was switched back to electric/cordless. The power button stopped working. I returned the old one after requesting a replacement. You agree to mail it back. Will update with how it works after receiving the ne one. Customer service is excellent. Thank you so much!

👤I shaved a 2-day beard and closed it after using this product. My old Norelco shaver cost roughly the same as this one, and I replaced it a few months ago. I'm hoping to try it with a wet shave, but I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

👤I loved that this came charged, it shipped very quickly and it works well, I will definitely purchase this again for my family.

👤It was only used a couple times, but it's really good.

👤Gert hat 3 verschiedenen Aufstzen. Langschneider, Rasur, and Aufsatz are related. Ohr und Nase ist, ebenso Netzteil. Bequeme Reinigung, da alle Teile Abnehmbar ist. Is rasiert sanft, supersanft, toll. Macht spass ist perfekt. It was absolute. In 2,3 years, es will stop in Betrieb. Allem des Accus ist hier an fachgerechte.

👤I had high hopes that this would work for me, but it didn't. It was hard to use. I think the blades are not very good. I bought a more expensive one and it was 100 times better than the price.

2. Philips Norelco Multigroom Attachment MG3750

Philips Norelco Multigroom Attachment MG3750

After 2 years of use, the steel blades remain as sharp as they were on the first day. No oil is needed to maintain high quality performance. The automatic voltage is 100-240 V. All hair types haveblades and guards that are easy to detach and rinse. The blade is made of metal. The Multigroom 3000 series has a model number that is indicated on the packaging.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤I used this to shave my entire body and ended up with a big ball of hair. I flushed the big hairball down the toilet because I didn't want anyone to know I shaved myself. This was a mistake as it ended up in the drain. The bathroom floor is flooded and the toilet is malfunctioning. 10/10 would buy again.

👤I bought the product a month and a half ago and have been writing this review ever since. This product worked well for that time period. The trims are very good. As I am writing this review, I am hearing a buzzing of the trimmer stuck in the "on" setting. I don't know what happened but I heard the trimmer turn on this morning. The button on the front is no longer working. There is no way to stop it. I'm just hoping it dies soon. The product was probably the best I've ever used, but it was unfortunate. It's the most annoying thing in my apartment.

👤It was purchased in June of last year. It was working well. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped working. I tried to charge it, but there was no response. It won't turn back on. I thought it would last a long time.

👤This is a great trimmer, don't spend a lot of money on it. I like to stay well groomed and this is the perfect trimmer. I use a nose hair accessory and several guards to trim my hair. It has a great battery life. I couldn't afford to spend $300 on a Wella trimmer that I could get for less. I decided to buy this after reading reviews and researching. I got my money's worth from the product. This would be a great gift.

👤I have only used it once and I will not be using it again. I used it to trim the area around my beard. I had to use a razor blade to clean up the mess after I went over my cheek several times to get a semblance of a line. The groomer is incapable of making a clean line when I did my neck. I cut myself when I used it to clean up the area around my lip, that has never happened with any groomers I have used. I noticed my neck was bleeding. The guard was horrible. With the guard, I had better hopes that I can groom the beard. I combed my beard and used the groomer. My growth was ruined by it. I have had Norelcos before but this is the worst one I have ever had. Do not buy this product if you want a nice beard or values your skin.

👤It's awesome, but I can't vouch for battery life or functions other than the razor. The pros outweigh the loud noise. I've had brain surgery three times and the areas of my head are very tender. The little dude is very gentle on the delicate areas of my head. Because of the size, it's easy to hold and enable a more precise shave. I've tried at least four other razors and this one is the best. I was confused by the reassembly of the piece after cleaning, but it was very easy and convenient. I had a cord and loved it, and would recommend this to everyone. I wish it came with a case or bag, but that just means less waste when all is said and done. The price is unbeatable for what it does.

3. Philips Norelco S5210 81 Precision

Philips Norelco S5210 81 Precision

A close shave. The majority of men beat their shaving time. There is no turbo. Compared to the Click and Style. The MultiPrecision blade system raises and cuts long and short hairs. Flex heads can be used for a fast close shave. Get a dry or refreshing wet shave with Aquatec. The Smart Click precision trimmer is for mustache and sideburn trimming.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤I've been buying Norelco shavers for a long time. I will not buy Norelco razors because of these reasons. The motor that drives the blades does not improve over time. The Norelco razors of the 80's and 90's had fast and powerful motors that were 888-282-0465, so you could shave with 888-282-0465. I was shocked that they use weak/ low rpm motors to turn these blades. I took a long time to get down to a close shave. I felt like I was mowing my lawn with a motor attached to my lawn mower. The blades won't turn if the motors get slower. They have the audacity to offer models that have more power than the blade efficiency would allow. They steer customers to their more expensive razors with inflated prices that are only adequate speed to match the blade. They attach extraordinary value to the speed of their product, which tells me that they don't sell razors, they sell features to compensate. The baby boomers who remember when this was a no compromise quality product and not a con job on the consumer are leaving the market.

👤I used to be a huge fan of Norelco. There is a But not anymore. The shaver is made of plastic. I have to shave my face many times just to cut the hairs. It takes a long time to shave with this nonsense. Lift and cut? It shaves like a dull rock. Buy another brand if you want to save money.

👤The shaver I bought was to replace the five year old Norelco. I used the shaver for a couple of weeks and it didn't shave as well as my five year old did. There was a 45 day money back guarantee in the box and brochure. I called Norelco and was directed to a form on their website. I attached a scanned copy of my Amazon receipt after filling out the form. I waited a couple of weeks and didn't hear back, so I called them again and was told that they didn't receive my request, so I sent in another one. After speaking with three people, they found my requests and gave me two case numbers, which I will use to send out the return tag. I contacted them again with the case numbers, and after a few days they got an email saying they needed the Amazon receipt, which I had already sent them twice. I sent them the receipt again and didn't hear anything back. After two months, I gave up and went back to using my five year old Norelco shaver. The shaver was made in the Netherlands, but it was more like Chinese junk.

👤It feels better on my face than the $30 Norelco I've been using for 16 years. Everyone says that there is no flip-up sideburn trimmer, but that is not true of all the newer razors. It's annoying to have to remove the shaver head from the trimmer to put it back on. It works well and lasts 2 weeks on a charge, so I like it. I don't see a reason to get a shaver that is more expensive than this one, since replacement shaver heads for some of the more expensive shavers are quite expensive. This one's replacements are cheaper. I've never tried a shaver like this before. I don't know if it will work better. I used the cheapest one for 16 years and got along well. This one is better in that it glides smoothly and doesn't yank my hair as much. It shaves me to the same degree of smoothness and time as my old razor, but it takes less time. It feels smooth and that's about all there is to it in terms of functional reasons to upgrade from a cheap model. I don't think this will last as long as my last one because of the way the head has to be pulled off and put back on, and because the batteries tend to wear down more than corded ones. We'll see. I like it for now.

4. Philips Norelco MG7750 49 Rechargeable

Philips Norelco MG7750 49 Rechargeable

The all in 1 trimmer is for beard, head, body, and/or face hair styling. The dual cut technology has 2x more self sharpening blades that last up to 5 years. The all in 1 trimmer has a full metal motor and a drive train reinforced with steel to deliver maximum power and Torque. Their cutting guards are reinforced with strong fiberglass material to prevent them from bending. The battery can deliver up to 5 hours of run time per charge.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤It's great, keep a long charge, lots of good attachments, and very sharp. My husband didn't know that he could cut his balls off.

👤I bought this from the Norelco Multigroom 5100 because it was the "newer" version of the model I had before. There is a glaring flaw in this unit that no of the head attachments have the ability to adjust. Want to go from 1mm to 2mm? You are expected to remove the head and replace it with another one. You have to store 23 pieces where some aren't even labeled as to which length they are. This trimmer had potential, but the major change in common sense and user friendly made it an insta-return for me. Anyone who has ever used an adjusted length trimmer head will not tolerate this design decision. Even worse, there is no head compatible with this model.

👤I was very pleased with the quality of the box when I opened it. The lack of ability to buy additional guards in different sizes limits the usefulness of this product. I bought this to replace my norelco beardtrimmer which was starting to die and felt a bit cheap. I thought the "All-in-one trimmer" would be an improvement. This wasn't the case. My old trimmer had a wheel that allowed you to move the guard up/down with each click, which made it possible to pick your length. They send you a set of guards in different sizes for your different trimmer attachment with this model and all other multigroomer models. The "hair trimmer" guards jump in size very quickly. There are 9mm, 12mm, and 16mm. I like my beard bigger than 16mm, but I can't go longer than 12mm, and the difference between 16mm and 12mm is a bit much. If norelco offered additional guards in other sizes, it wouldn't be an issue, but they don't make additional guard sizes. Despite being a very nice, and what seems to be a quality groomer, I have only had it for a month and there is plastic where the trimmer connects to the motor. I would really like to go with another brand that has additional guard sizes. It's up to poor research prior to purchase. Someone asked this question and was answered by a person who said they were from an official guards reselling company. If you want to trim your beard or hair to a specific length, look elsewhere.

👤No matter what you do, there will be blood. I started with sensitive areas because I want to make sure I'm at the top of my game. First touch? It was nicked. The angle should be changed. It was nicked. Okie dokie... I'll use a body guard. Nick. Why G*d, why? It is taut. Nick nickity nicknick. It's fine. I might be able to use this for general body grooming. There is a The. Very. First. I got a toothy cut on my chest. I swear, this thing was after my drink. Let's try the beard. A big guard. Even that hurts! There is a scratch on the surface. My face is red and the trim is not straight. I look like DDL's character. It's really sad. I'll wash the hair I trimmed and the blood off. Oh my! The burn was very intense. Well played. Well played. Is it coming back to me? I will be taking my money back.

5. HATTEKER Cordless Precision Waterproof Rechargeable

HATTEKER Cordless Precision Waterproof Rechargeable

A multi-functional grooming kit includes a beard/hair/nose trimmer. The beard trimmer comb has a set of knobs for fine tuning and a set of combs for adjusting. The standing and moving blades are made from the same material and don't produce high-temperature scalded skin. It takes about 1.5 hours to charge up to about 60 minutes shaving time. It is possible to achieve high performance anywhere. The long- lasting battery is perfect for travelling. The whole body is fully washed for easy cleaning. Let it dry naturally and take on protective cover after each use. You get a beard trimmer with blade guard, a body trimmer head, a hair trimmer head, a precesion trimmer head, a nose trimmer head, a chargig dock,6 guide combs, barber comb, and instructions.

Brand: Hatteker

👤My husband was getting a hair cut. I decided to order this set because I didn't have any barber experience. He had all the bells and whistles and could use his mustache. I plugged it in over night to charge it. We went to get my first haircut. He told me which combs to use and I started on the sides. This thing did a great job. I went through the hair with ease. He likes a close cut on the sides. I changed to a longer comb for the top. It was perfect for what he wanted. It is easy to clean with the brush that is included and a small tube of oil to help keep the blades sharp. He said his mustache worked great. I might just start giving him his haircuts at home.

👤The cutting power of battery powered trimmers was limited compared to AC powered trimmers, which felt like the motor was under powered. I've used many battery powered trimmers in the past but this one ranks at the bottom as far as how powerful the motor is. It has a good battery life because of the week motor. I think I used around 55 minutes on a single charge, which is the same as the rated 60 minutes usage. The trimmer blades are easy to swap. The base doesn't hold all of the accessories that it comes with, so you have to be careful about which accessories you want available more often than others. The trimmer is easy to clean and does a good job, I think it's a decent value.

👤Four of the all-in-one trimmers/clippers were bought. 1. Braun All-in-one trimmer. The hair cutting kit is for men. There is no model listed for the Rechargeable. Hatteker Mens Beard Trimmer has a hair Clipper. Men's grooming kit waterproof is in 1 for men. My previous trimmer was an old Panasonic ER2343, and it had no blade oil needed. The publication is for the Hatteker. One million pieces fell apart after opening the box. There is no upside. Change each piece every time you want to make a change. Thumbs down. 2. Hatteker clipper has a box with three layers of plastic, loose pieces and it's hard to get back into it. Its stand is not a good one. The button in the middle did not work. The body trimmer did nothing. Beard trimming is not unusual. Thumbs down. 3. Hatteker trimmer is in good packaging. There was no body trimmer. The stand looks nice. It is a cheap plastic stand that needs to be removed from the stand to charge. The trimming is ok. To make the edges neat, you need to remove one part of the beard every time you trim it. I did not test the hair clipper. 4. Braun body trimmer works if it catches long hair, but it can cause a lot of pain and make you bleed, which happened to me. This did not make me bleed, but it felt like it was pulling the hair. It's a pitty, as it's good as a beard trimmer. It's very cumbersome to trim the beard every time, because you have to add and remove parts to make it neat. The first two were terrible, the Braun was cumbersome and made me bleed, while the Hatteker trimmer was the best of the four, but not better than my old Panasonic ER2403 for trimming. If one needs a trimmer/clipper, #3 is ok, but if only looking for a clipper, go for something else.

6. Philips Norelco Electric S6880 81

Philips Norelco Electric S6880 81

The Norelco Shaver 6800 is designed with your skin in mind. Their shaving system protects your skin with its ComfortGlide rings and SkinProtect blades. MultiFlex heads that are in 8 directions can easily shave hard to reach areas like your neck and jawline. You can shave wherever you want, whether it's in the shower or in a dry shave with gel or foam. 50 minutes of shaving time with a 3 level indicator, and the power of a corded shaver without a cord, is provided by the rechargeable battery.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤It was a very disappointing purchase. I have been a loyal Norelco customer for 30 years and have noticed that their products are getting cheaper and stingier every year. The almost $100 shaver doesn't come with a flimsy storage pouch anymore to keep it protected, and it also doesn't come with a cleaning brush. I got a travel case from the manufacturer in the late 1980s, but I'm not talking about a really strong case. From year to year, the cases turned into pouches. Not even those anymore. Somewhere along the line, the free charging stand was dropped to. How much does this shave off the profit? Good luck traveling with this and relocating the loose flying parts when you need them. There is a version of this shaver with a travel case and stand that costs $30-40. For a box made of plastic? I don't need a beard trimmer. There is a case of false advertisement, where the images on Amazon show a razor head under a faucet for cleaning. The razor head is not hinged, so you can take it off. It comes off completely. Maybe you want to keep the shaver open to dry. Norelco finally got rid of the clumsy, bulky cleaner contraption that seemed to have the primary purpose of further increasing the price. This is not good. I'm so disappointed that I'm considering returning it and checking out Braun for the first time in 30 years. Norelco doesn't seem to care if they can make a few more pennies on the bottom line. At some point, my patience is at an end.

👤I bought a shaver with high expectations. The reality has made them think differently. My older Norelco three-head shaver was replaced by this razor. I was looking forward to the wet shave function. I didn't like the wet shave results. I get a smooth shave when I dry shave. I think the shaver can deliver a better shave than my old Norelco. It's very close to my old Gillette razor. So thanks for that! Cleaning can be difficult. I simply popped the button and ran water over the blades and the shaver clippings area, I was done. I have to disassemble the new one, wash the blade assembly, and then snap it all back together. It's not good. The shaver has a mustache and sideburn. One must remove the entire blade attachment and attach the trimmer. My eyes can't find a way to attach the trimmer without my glasses. I re-attach shaver blades. It's Meh! I don't have my glasses when I get up. I need them now! The Norelco had a built in trimmer. You're ready to go if you push the button. Huh? Why don't you keep that feature? The shaver's saving graces are the close shaves and good battery life. I give it 4 stars because of it. The battery indicator was rudimentary. The new one has an indicator. One can't shave when the battery is on. The new indicator should give me enough time to start a charge. I have had this thing since the end of May and it has not required a charge, so time will tell on the battery charge issue or even if there is an issue. If they fixed the issues I mentioned, this would be a great shaver.

7. Philips Norelco Electric S1560 81

Philips Norelco Electric S1560 81

The closest electric shaver in its class. For a close dry shave, use self-sharpening blades. Every curve of your face and neck can be easily shaved with the 4 directions of the heads. One touch to rinse under the tap. The maximum power year after year. The automatic voltage is 100-240 V.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤I usually use a safety razor to shave, but after a short time using this shaver, I had the most painful shave of my life. Since I don't grow much facial hair, I thought an electric shaver would be a great way to shave off time and effort. I couldn't have been more wrong. I had a shaver that was not able to get rid of the small amount of hair I have. The picture speaks for itself. I have never left a review for a product in my life, but I am sitting here with a bloody chin to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else.

👤This is great. You can't beat the price. I stopped using a straightedge because of ingrown hairs. I highly recommend this because I tried it out. The green letric shave is needed in order to have a smooth shave. Before you use the shaver, make sure you put a warm cloth on your face. Put the shaver under the hot water to warm it up. Letric shave on your blades and face with a cotton ball. You will have the best shave ever if you follow this process. Hope this helps.

👤The cost. It depends on what you shave with. This is more expensive if you use the cheapest 2 blade disposables. If you use fancy 5 blade shavers, this is a little cheaper. A man shaves. Not as close as a blade. It's difficult to move around your mustache and sideburns. A battery. It takes me 2 to 3 minutes to get my shave in and I can get a dozen shaves on a battery charge. It takes 8 hours to replenish. Convenience. This is the best part of the razor. No standing over a sink, no having lather up, no having to rinse your blades, you can shave anywhere.

👤I'm very impressed with this razor. If I tried to get a close shave with normal razors, my skin would get irritated. The razor gives a very close shave with almost no irritation. I have had this for 1.5 years and it works like it did when I first got it, just a quick rinse after use. The battery lasts about a week on one charge. I don't think it gets better than this. It takes longer to use this blade than a normal blade, but it is worth it because it is not as bad for the skin as a normal blade. I highly recommend.

👤The electric shaver is very nice. The design of lightweight is great in my hand. I prefer a straight-edge shave but sometimes an electric razor is quicker and easier. I've used this shaver more than I anticipated, and am happy with the shave. If you forget to charge your shaver, you're out of luck until you replenish it. The blades do not come with a brush. I don't think any electric shaver should come with a cleaning brush, even if you can clean the blades by running hot water over them.

8. Philips Norelco S9721 84 Packaging

Philips Norelco S9721 84 Packaging

Each shaving head has 8 directions to follow. The superior contouring helps capture up to 20% more hair in a single pass. The state-of-the-art shaving system cuts hairs up to 30% closer. * The newly designed blades shave closer and more comfortably by collecting hair in the optimal cutting position. Slow, Medium, and Fast are the speed settings that fit your skin and hair type. The premium user interface puts you in control of your shaver's performance by automatically lighting up and displaying: battery level, cleaning indicator, battery low indicator, replacement head indicator, and travel lock indicator. The SmartClean System cleans, lubricates, dries, and charges your shaver at the touch of a button, keeping it performing at its best. The Multi-Display Indicator tracks the progress of your shaver through each step.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤I use this shaver daily. The close shave and the ability to use in the shower is what I like about it. I have used this shaver for three years and never dropped it. The back of the shaver popped off when I dropped it. I took a photo so people could see the black mold that was growing inside my shaver. I think this was leaking out and getting on my hands at some point. This is a major flaw for a shaver that is to be used wet. I don't like the fact that the shaver is sealed. I used the cleaning apparatus after every shave. It kept the blades clean and removed the hard water deposit. The cost and availability of replacement blades did not impress me. It is almost the same as a new razor.

👤I had a wonderful Norelco that I used for a long time before it broke. It wasn't bad because replacement blades only got more expensive. I need a triple head shaver that is easy to clean and waterproof. When I shave in a confused haze, half asleep, I will do a better job with a big shaver. Most triple head shavers don't conform well to the face. If you're coordinating your wrist well, this is fine, but for me, a head that pivots around is better. I have tried a few different shavers and none were as good as this one. It saves me a lot of time. The razor can change the speed of the motor. The slower motor catches and cuts the hairs on my neck when my beard is a bit longer. I initially thought it was a dumb feature. The manual says slow is more sensitive, but for me it means the shaver is slowing down to give hair a chance to get into the razor. Sometimes I use it in the shower with foam and sometimes it is dry. Either way, it works. I rinse the blades with water before setting them back on the cleaning pedestal. I believe this has extended the life of the cleaning fluid because of the amount of hairs that come out of the shaver when I do this. The mechanism for self cleaning is awesome. I know it means I'll be buying more accessories, but it's still awesome. Every time I reach for it, my shaver is clean. The razor is worth every penny, despite its high price.

👤I have had many different shavers over the last 30 years and this is the best one I have ever owned. It works and works well. No stray hairs, no breaking out the blade to clean up missed hairs, and no tough to get hairs. The unit is topnotch. You won't get it if you buy it.

👤My rating is going up. My prior review was updated about 10 months ago. The Smart Clean device stopped working because the pump that fills the top of the basin to clean the shaver head stopped working. I have been using the cleaning device only with the correct cleaner, and I have replaced it monthly as I used it daily. Not very happy about this, and will go to the hospital for a new one. I called the company and they will replace the device and send it to me. I have to return the broken one to them. I had to provide all the information again after I registered the product, so the service call was not speeded up. I have been using the Norelco shavers for over 30 years and this is the best one yet. It makes my face feel better and gives me the cleanest shave I've ever had. I've never bought one of their expensive models, but I don't regret the extra money. This one shaves really well. The "Smart Clean" feature keeps the shaver very clean, and it's possible that it keeps the blades sharper and lubricated. I used to wash and shake out the hairs on the blades before changing them. The cleaning process works well. I cleaned the shaver on my trip and it came back clean. The Cartridges are not expensive and are supposed to last 3-6 months. I'll see if they make it that long on a daily cleaning run. The best shaver so far. There was an update on March 24th. The 3-pack of the shaver will cost about $5.50 per month if the cleaning cycle lasts one month. After the first month, I tried to clean it every other day, but the shaver was still clean. If you're not too fussed, you can lightly brush the side groves of the shaving head once in a while to remove the cleaning process from the hair. As a final note, the cleaning cartridge leaves a visible proof of how much was cleaned. I have owned and recommend the greatest shaver I have ever owned.

Brand: Max-t

👤I am impressed. I have been using Norelco shavers for a long time. This one is out of the box and gives a more comfortable shave than my last one. The prices of premium shavers have become steep. There is a display of remaining battery charge that is a lot to like about this one. The shaving quality was lousy after five months. The cutting blades were cleaned and made usable again. Sometimes a little water is needed. I contacted the seller about my concerns. They sent replacements even after I told them that the originals were fine. Recommended!

👤This shaver was received on March 6. Today is May 28, 2019. I have had enough time to give a good evaluation. The shaver is the same as described on Amazon. The shaver was fully charged and had an LEDs meter. The shavers I've received in the past usually took 24 hours to charge. This was in the box and ready to leave. The first shave used 30% of the charge. The shaver has become used to my beard since I've been using it. I shave using about 12% of the charge, which has greatly reduced shaving time. My previous brand shaver took a long time to refill. The MAX-T Electric Shaver Quick Rechargeable takes about 8 minutes every day. It is easier to clean this shaver. The shaving head is removed, the shaver is tapped against the side of a trash can, and most of the shaving head falls out. I disassembled the shaving head after about a month to clean it. I remove the shaving head, tap the shaver against the side of a trash can, and then use it again, it seems to work. I plan on cleaning in 90 days. There was no shaving burn or rash. I have been using shavers for 40 years. This shaver is the best I have ever used. I would buy it again.

👤The battery in the 4 year old Norelco would no longer hold a charge. The shaver provides a close shave. It is a shaver. The shaver's power cord connection is delicate, not a two-pronged one as in other shavers, and you need to be careful in making the connection or you can break the internal-handle male part. I haven't had time to know how long the internal battery will last. Replacement is more affordable than the Norelco. It is a good price.

👤I only dropped the battery by 5% after it was fully charged. I am tense and closed up.

👤I have not used a shaver before, but I am tired of the razor blade cuts. None of the expensive name brands had an overall 5 star rating. Dr. Bronner's liquid soap Max -Tcare shaved as close to a 3 blade razor as possible.

👤I will not rate the shaver because we returned it undamaged. We don't buy items made in China because we don't like them. I typed in to find electric shavers made in the USA and found one. I bought it. My husband opened it and saw that it was made in China. We returned it. I got my money back. If anyone out there feels the same, please make sure you know when the item gets delivered that it is made in the USA.

Brand: Philips Norelco

👤My first Norelco shave lasted nearly 20 years before an essential part broke and could not be fixed. The battery in my next shaver would no longer hold a charge after 14 years. My third shaver, aPhillips Norelco 3100, lasted almost 5 years before it started sounding like a lawn mower. I bought aPhillips Norelco 2500 for my next shaver. The shaver is much cheaper than the 3100. I charged the batteries after unpacking the shaver. The battery light started blinking after my fourth shave. When they say batteries last 45 hours on a single charge, they don't mean 45 hours of use, just 45 hours. The shaver is a waste of money. Don't bother. It does not deserve a single star.

👤I was excited about this razor because of the good reviews. I turned it on and it sounded like it was barely running and it was very slow. I thought it was supposed to be like that and shaved. I might have shaved with a butter knife. It didn't do much. A $10 razor from Walmart would be better. I shaved with a disposable razor blade and packed it up and will be sending it back to the seller in the morning. Don't waste your money, it's a piece of junk.

👤I have had a Norelco AT810 for over seven years and it still provides more shave time per charge than this unit. I would never have ordered the unit if I had known the battery was so bad. I would have sent the unit back if I had noticed the poor performance of the battery during the free trial. I thought the battery performance would improve after a few charges. I don't think anyone should buy these units until the battery performance improves.

👤The 2500 S1311/82 and the Norelco 3500 S3212/82 are both triple head razors. Both came up short of the best. The 2500 and 3500 seem to have the same features, including an extra head pivot and full waterproof. Both suffer from only one blade track per head. Taking my time did not result in a close shave. I found shaving my head without it to be more annoying because of the omnidirectional pivot underneath the head assembly. A foil trimmer was quicker and shaved closer for flatter surfaces on my face. The Norelcos felt the best, and the only upside was that. Can't recommend their performance.

👤Looking for a replacement for $175 Norelco. This isn't it. Looking for a solution that doesn't cost a lot? This is a good choice. I've owned both expensive and cheap models. The expensive ones are worth it. The blades and screens that need to be replaced frequently cost over $50. Some of them are close to $100. The price of the razor is nearly 1/3. Buying a cheap one that has new blades and screens for less than the cost of a good razor is an alternative. Throw the cheap one away when it wears out. You can buy cheap ones for the price of their more expensive ones and have the same 10 years of use.

👤I have had a shaver for over a decade. At the time of purchase, I paid $50. It had a light that glowed green when full and orange when low and could be plugged in and used, a beard trimmer and could be cleaned under the faucet. A full charge lasts about 1.5 weeks. I saw the high prices for the same or similar shaver in the Norelco line and decided it was time to look outside that line. I had never heard of this brand, but it was around $50, which was my max. I decided to take a chance after looking at the reviews and questions. There is a The only cons I can think of is that they only give you a flimsy little bag to store the shaver in, whereas other makes give you a nicer case. I think that's why they cost more. This shaver is better than my Norelco. The blades are cheaper to replace. It is quieter than my old shaver. It can be used wet, although why you would want to is beyond me. The neat thing about this is that you will never have to use it. It charges in an hour. It has a battery life indicator. I have been using it for a week and it still has an average time shaving of about 3 to 4 minutes. It was a close shave too. I have no idea who you are, but you have sold me! This thing is still going strong with no issues, and we are 4 months into daily use. Full charge lasts for weeks, charge time is still fast. It's still far quieter than my Norelcos. Roman is my new goto for electric razors. You have been defeated! The Roman lasts longer on a full charge than the other ones. The Roman can go for 3 to 4 weeks before he needs to go back to work. The blades are less expensive. The Roman does everything my Norelcos did, but better.

👤Customer reviews and bad experience from my last Norelco purchase made me buy this. Past Norelco's lasted on average a decade, my latest was 90 days. I felt a difference in quality when I looked at it. The latest Norelco's were very light, looked cheap and had smaller heads. I bought a new $30 plug in at Walmart. It was mediocre and when I tried to shave my stubble within 5 seconds it made a noise and wouldn't shave. Waiting for Norelco to give me a decision on my warranty, I decided I don't trust their products anymore. My old battery wasn't that great. It took me forever to finish shaving after 1-2 shaves and I rarely got a blade like shave. First try with this, plugged in to a sockets, it zips through and blade close, couldn't believe it, a quick close shave! Same as before, tried a few more shaves. Without plugging in, the battery was the only thing tried. It's great, but be aware that shaving takes a long time once the timer gets to the 70s. I will always use a plugged in one for easier shaving. The new Norelco free replacement is in the box unused. Replacement blades are less expensive than the Norelco. I can get a new one for the same price as the Norelco blades. Will this last? It was just a month. I will let you know when I update. The original blades still cut great 1 1/2 years later. Highly recommended.
