👤They are decent scooters when they work. The problem is that they are very cheap to build. The entire brake mechanism just fell off when one of these broke after 5 hours of use. After contacting the manufacturer, they want us to pay for shipping back to them to fix their product. This company doesn't stand behind their products. If you are looking for a nice present for your kids, I would not recommend this scooter, it is not designed to last and you have no support if it breaks after 30 days.

👤I bought this scooter for my daughter. She is only 2 years old. It is perfect! The product is very sturdy and the wheels are quiet. I recommend this product to other mothers and it's great!

👤The scooter is great. It's so easy to assemble and un assemble, it rides well, and it feels a lot more expensive than it is. The front is too straight. My toddler ran into the back of my foot and caused me to scream in pain and not be able to wear closed shoes for a few days. I can't think of a reason why this wouldn't be smooth. I'm working on the toddler, but I'm sure she's not the only one to do that. Will show it in pictures. We love it and would recommend it. Don't let anyone get too close.

👤This is perfect for my daughter who is 5. She received this as a Christmas gift, and it has been used a lot for the last 5 months. It has held up well and still looks great. One of her friends has a razor with 3 wheels, and in my opinion, this scooter has much better function. Most razors are metal, but there are plastic pieces. It is a nice bonus that the wheels light up.

👤I think my daughter has forgotten how to walk since I never see her not on this thing. She dances all over the place, from the driveway to the bathroom to the refrigerator. She can't let it go. She is so cute on it that I might have to intervene. The build quality is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Even after 2 months of constant use, the wheels still light up.

👤After my son's scooter broke, I decided to buy a cheaper one on Amazon. I researched and picked this scooter. It was easy to assemble. My son wasn't very fond of it at first. The previous scooter was more difficult to stear. I gave this scooter a second chance because of the complicated return system. I'm glad I did. My son loves the scooter and has no complaints. I compared it to our friend's scooter and it was the same way.

👤My mother gave this to my 3.5 year old for Christmas. I tried it because I barely maxed out the weight capacity. I would love to have one. Oh yes. My 3.5 year old and 18 month old love it. The 18-month old can pick it up and adjust it whenever she goes into the grass on the sidewalk. They would have to lean over the handle bars and put their weight into it to turn to steer. All 3 of us enjoy this little device.

👤The last 3 months have been the best of my 7-yr old's life because she was able to ride her new electric scooter. She took great care of it, it was her most precious possession. It was always inside after a ride that others were not allowed to ride on it. And then it broke. She is very sad. She is not the only one that has a 1* review. It will not help to call the company and ask for a replacement scooter. Which hurts my heart. If it had broken down in the first month, I could have returned it to Amazon and ordered one that would fall in the 98% of happy customers. My little girl is crying.

👤Purchase: Beware. I bought two. One died immediately after first use. The scooters were plugged in with a red light on the charge. The light was green for 3 hours before being removed. On the second day one went about 100 yards and died. I plugged it in again and was given a green light that it was fully charged, but the scooter was dead. I am 100% positive that it is a faulty scooter since I have two and both went through the same charge cycles. I can't say if it's the electronics or the battery, but it's definitely not a problem. Poor quality control on these scooters. Fortunately, Amazon took the scooter back without question and promptly gave me my money back. I started a ticket at GoTrax and it was a complete disaster. You can't call a number to talk to someone. They will give you a run around with 72 hour gaps in responses and a meaningless exchange consideration process. If you buy through Amazon, you at least have the return window so it's worth the risk. If you buy directly from GoTrax, you are likely to be on your own if something goes wrong. It doesn't take much to get outside the warranty window. Just saying. I have two children with one functioning scooter and the death watch begins. Hopefully it will happen before the Amazon return window closes. If the guts just worked, the scooter seems to be solid and a quality build. The company has not resolved whatever this is and allows it to continue as a common flaw. Have to believe that they don't care. Law of large numbers to them. I will not replace it with a GoTrax scooter. Only purchase from this company. Don't buy if you're warned.

👤There are three main reasons why kids switch from one mode of transportation to another. Boys prefer any kind of transport that gives them faster speed. The present scooter gives us the same speed uphills as a regular scooter. neighbours are interested in how much we got

👤I was shopping for a scooter for my daughter. I was considering buying a full size scooter, but they are only meant for kids 13 and older. There are many more controls which could overwhelm someone coming from an unpowered kick scooter. If you have a curious child, you can limit the speed to 9mph. We looked at some razor options, but they were either too expensive or too awkwardly styled for my daughter's tastes. The Gotrax GKS fit the bill perfectly here. It is very reasonable for a well built electric scooter. Four bolts were used to hold the front wheel on, and four bolts were used to put the handlebars on. The handlebar is self centering during installation, so I like that. We put it on the charge after that. We tried to wait for 5 hours, but the light on the charging station was green, so I let her go for a ride. She found it very easy to ride, the switches on the deck were easy to push down, and she didn't have to change her riding style. It was very quiet. We thought it wasn't working at first, but then she accelerated off with no sound. It is smooth. She was happy with the way it decelerated after you kicked it. It's easy to brake. It was easy for her to feel safe with the brake on her kick scooter. Feel heavy. She doesn't mind the heft at 17 pounds. It does seem to glide fairly well, despite being a bit more effort when pushing around unpowered. I'm glad we didn't go with a bigger scooter, the ones that were looking at it were 27 to 30 pounds. It looks pretty cool. This has enough blue to make her happy. I asked her if she was going to put a sticker on it, and she said that it looks good. We're off to a great start, but we'll update this review once we know more about battery life and reliability.

👤My son loves it, it is easy to assemble.

👤My daughters are 4 years old and 1.5 years old. Excellent build, really nice. I got the pink Y-200 for my 4 yo and the red Y-100 for my 1.5 yo. I noticed some differences. You can see pics as well. 1. The Y-200 needed assembly. Two steps. Attach the collar clamp with the handlebar/steering rod. The Y-100 will just fold down to travel, while the Y-200 requires a disassemblement to do that. The Y-200 is easy to disassemble. Both are easy to transport. 2. When fully extended, the Y-100 is 0.2 in taller than the Y-200. The seat on the Y-200 is wider. I did not adjust the seat height yet, but the Y-200 goes highest according to the manual. I believe it's possible to double check the exact height differences of the two cases. The Y-200 has a slightly wider foot deck. It's not sure if it's an optical illusion. You can see for yourself in pictures. 5. The two back wheels on the Y-200 are different from the one back wheel on the Y-100 6. The Y-100 seat twisted into the front when it flipped up, while the Y-200 seat only flipped up. 7. There is no music or disco light in the Y-200. The Y-100 has a disco light. There are 8. Both have flashing light wheels. There are 9. Both have to tilt their heads. I haven't given these yet to my girls. Will need to write a follow-up. Very pleased with what we got. I hope the pictures show the differences between the two.

👤My grandson loves this dog. I got it for his birthday, but he found it early. It's a shame. He said my schoo is cool.

👤My son can't get enough of it, I bought it for him. Light up wheels are very cool and great quality. It's very strong and safe. Will recommend this item to my friends.

Hover 1 Aviator Electric Folding Scooter

The built-in reflectors ensure a safe ride in the dark. The scooter is stable and skid-free because of the disk brake and electronic throttle. The fun e-scooter is reliable and enjoyable for all. They recommend wearing proper safety gear at all times.

Brand: Hover-1

👤I used the scooter a little longer to make sure my decision to return was solid. I like riding this scooter and it looks stylish. The suspension is not very good on bumps. Again, it is the cheap scooter. I'm thinking of going back to get a more expensive scooter. I like the color. I would like to see more scooters with a variety of colors. If you have to go uphill and ride on different types of road, the scooter battery will give you a solid 4 miles. It makes barely 5 m/h when you ride uphill. The speed is on a small hill. I had to help push the scooter with my foot because of the bigger hill on the street. The beautiful scooter is only a toy, but it will not allow you to commute in the city. I got it to replace my car when I need to go to the grocery shopping or my work, but quickly realized that it won't be transportation. I bought the Mi365, which is more reliable and less pretty.

👤The brakes on the scooter went bad a month after I bought it, so they went under the 90 day warranty, and I had to cut wires from the motor and send pictures, and they would send me a new scooter. I bought a scooter with cut motor wires and no response from the manufacturer, so I am very disappointed in this purchase.

👤I received two scooters for Christmas after purchasing them in October 2020. My kids loved them and used them lightly. The scooter's throttle broke this weekend. I submit a ticket through the website and they write it off as out of warranty. I asked if they could help me figure out which parts I need to order. There was no response. I've called the number several times, no one answers. I've tried to find a place that will look at it and can fix it. I've searched for tips on how to fix the issue on the websites, but no luck. I have a piece of garbage that is very expensive. It would be great if the company gave some guidance to its customers instead of leaving them high and dry after the warranty period.

👤The unit failed. The scooter will run for a short time than the brakes will stop it and shut the display off. It will work again after about 10 minutes of sitting. It doesn't feel hot or warm.

👤I love this scooter. I've purchased other ones before, but nothing beats this one's quality... My daughter received it as a gift and she is obsessed with it. It has a smooth ride, and she can't get enough of it.

👤The first scooter I bought was fine until the first fall, the main cable harness was damaged, it was covered by thin plastic, and the first one was working fine until the first fall. The fall was due to the handle bars, you need to add lock tight to make sure kids can't ride without them. The second scooter had a problem with the front wheel locking up, so it had to be returned. I'm not sure if they're good because the scooter looks beautiful and my daughter liked it. I tried to purchase parts to fix the first one but there is no support for the second one. I'm not sure.

The frame and fork are all-steel and will last for a long time. 54 lbs. The Razor E125 has a kid-sized deck and frame making it the perfect introduction to electric-powered fun. The pneumatic front tire helps smooth out rough surfaces.

Brand: Razor

👤I ordered this for my little man yesterday and it was delivered today. The setup was easy and we were able to ride it around for 30 minutes before it was time to come back inside. My 7 year old loves this scooter, it seems quick at first, but becomes easy to use once you get used to it. My son cannot wait until tomorrow to ride it again. I am 5'9 152 lbs and was able to ride it without a problem and the speed is still fast. The on/off switch was flimsy and the breaks could be a little better, but they still do the job. Great purchase!

👤The battery light turned green after 12 hours after the directions were followed. My son rode for 30 minutes and the battery died. He was able to ride again for 15 minutes or so after he charged the battery for 8 hours. The battery was charged for a full 12 hours. Completely dead. I contacted the seller to see what they recommend, but I will return. My child is very disappointed.

👤It took less than a year for me to start working again. Was used very little. The warranty expired if the battery won't hold a charge or it just broke. I would have expected it to last at least a couple of years if not more but this one quit working after 9 months. They won't offer an exchange since it's out of warranty.

👤The scooter did not work properly after it was assembled, so it was not returned. I don't think purchasing this is a good idea.

👤I love this scooter. I brought my daughter a Last Christmas gift and my son a really expensive scooter/bike for his birthday. Her scooter was half the price and it worked better. I bought two more of these after returning his. We have 3 for everyone to ride together. They are great. Even for me, speed is good. Sturdy and hold up well. I highly recommend them.

👤My 2 children are around 70 lbs. The scooter has a low center of gravity, which makes it easy to balance. So far great. I can't think of a negative thing about it. Will probably buy another one.

👤Shipping was fast. The scooter has a good amount of power. A decent amount of time has passed so far. I think this will degrade over time depending on the amount of charges put on the battery.

👤The on/off switch is located on the side. You think it's turned off when it doesn't stay lit. The on/off switch location makes it easy to hit with your foot and turn off. No complaints. Powerful and fast. I bought a Christmas gift for my grandsons. They said it was the best gift they had ever received.

6. Razor Power Core Electric Scooter

Razor Power Core Electric Scooter

The weight for riders ages 8 and up is up to 220 pounds. The Power Core technology has a hub motor that can deliver up to 10 mph (16 km/h) with the push of the throttle. The battery can be used for up to 80 minutes of continuous use. Balance control and traction are better with rear-wheel drive. A lightweight frame and fork with flat-free, airless rear tire makes this a great ride. Additional features include retractable kickstand and front brake.

Brand: Razor

👤The customer service of the Razor company is the worst I have ever experienced. The customer service department is so rude that they are still in business. Santa gave me two Electric Razor Scooters for my twin boys. They were excited when we took them out for a spin on a Saturday after charging the battery. One of my boys crashed into a bench because the back wheel of his scooter detached and fell off while he was riding it in our neighborhood. There were many witnesses. He was banged up a lot. I had to put Band-Aids on his cuts when I ran over to help him. He said the back wheel popped off. The back wheel had no screws on it. I realized that they forgot to put the screws on the back wheel before they shipped it to us when I compared it with my other sons scooter. When we got home, there were no screws in the box. The instructions state that the scooter is assembled except for the handlebars and that you can assemble yourself. There was no mention of screws being added or tightened. This was a Saturday. The customer service department is closed on the weekend. When I called the 800 number, there was a recording that said they were closed for the weekend. I had to wait. I called them Monday morning. The first person I spoke with tried to transfer me to a supervisor because they felt it was urgent and they wanted to escalate it. I spoke to someone named Carl after calling back. I was transferred to a supervisor named Esmeralda. She acted like I was inconveniencing her. She didn't care about my sons injuries that were sustained from their DEFECTIVE product. She never apologized to me or offered any kind of compensation. I was told by Esmeralda to send her an email with pictures I had taken. I immediately sent her photos and a description of what happened. She didn't reply back to me. They kept telling me that she was at a meeting and that all the managers were having a party that week, but no one was available to take my call. I didn't hear from him for a week. The only reason I heard from her was by my 10th phone call. I spoke to someone named Joy. I told Joy that I wanted a different customer service manager. She apologized for my experience and left a note for someone else to call me back. I got an email from her. She came back from her holiday vacation a week ago. They wouldn't give me any kind of compensation for the damage done to my son, even though she said she would send me a refund. Santa gave him an electric scooter, but he was not able to use it. I hope the owner of the company contacts me. I've been in sales for a long time. I have had to deal with customers who are dissatisfied. I know that this is not the way to treat a frequent buyer of your product, who purchases helmets, protective gear and push scooters. My kids are very young and when I want to purchase products for them, I will steer away from the Razor brand and tell my friends and family to do the same. I will be posting this on my Facebook page and any other social media spot I can find. I advise you to train your people better or shut it down because you are going to get a class-action lawsuit and I will be happy to be a part of it.

Brand: Beleev

👤I was looking for a scooter for my son. I compared this one to others on the internet. I chose this one because of a few reasons. Price 2. I can go on with many more but these are the things that were the most important to me.

👤These were a great purchase. I wanted a scooter that could be used by an adult parent, and bought 2 different colors for my kids. I might need to get my own scooter. I read a lot of reviews on all the options, but I decided on these. Good balance of price and value. I prefer reviews with a brand name. The skate foot bed is longer so it's more comfortable. The lock mechanism feels more solid and is easier to use. The handlebars can be adjusted up or down. I can use it as an adult and lower it for my child. It's easy to use and doesn't require tools for regular use. We prefer to leave handlebars out, even when packing. The front wheels have a shock absorber. The back wheel guard has a foot brake pad. I think it could be a little thicker, or it could have some kind of insulation on top. It gets hot really fast when you go downhill, so be careful if you wear slippers. It's not a deal breaker to wear shoes. I would definitely buy again.

👤I would like to say that this review is my own. I paid full price for my review and I am not getting a discount or gift in exchange for it. I bought this scooter for my 10 year old son because we had too many razor scooters that broke and became unsafe to ride. My 10 year old is fond of the Beleev V5 over the Razor. The ride is very smooth because of the shock absorbers. It looks and feels well built, but only time will tell. It was easy to reassemble. You just pull it out of the box, push the lever to unfold it, pop the handle bars in place, and make sure the screws are tight with the included Allen wrench. As he grows, the height is adjusted so we can raise the handle bars. It has a carry strap and a kickstand. I read a lot of reviews and articles about the best scooters to buy, and I thought this one was too good to be true after having to throw away many previous scooters that didn't last. I am happy to report that I was wrong. Just order this one and save yourself some time.

👤My child is 9 years old and she absolutely loved the scooter. She wouldn't stop riding on it. We had to take her off the scooter. My other child loved it and wanted to try it. I rode on it and I am very impressed. The rubber wheels are very smooth on the ground. I wasn't expecting it to go so fast if you push it hard enough. The scooter's height is amazing. Anyone can ride it. If you're short or tall, you'll still have fun. The scooter is in perfect condition and the pink color is vibrant. The brake works well and stops when you want it. The scooter is shockproof, it is not heavy, and it is very sturdy. It's likely to last for several years, which is great. It's always great to have no assembly out of the box. I am very satisfied with my purchase of this scooter, and I recommend it to anyone!

👤It is the first scooter for small children. I wouldn't recommend a child over 6 years old as it is short.

👤It's very heavy for a child to handle. A lack of kickstand is a big disadvantage. I was unable to tighten the two main parts. The lights are not visible. I can't recommend this product.

👤I bought the orange one and the blue one and it was nothing special.

👤This scooter is built to last. I would recommend this to anyone.

👤My grandson is 5 years old and loves this scooter. It is strong. It is heavier than I anticipated. The lights add to the fun.

👤I expected better quality for the price I paid. The scooter is built great, however just a month after purchase, the hardware that allows for the adjustment in height of the handlebars fell out. The handle bars were only adjusted once, because my son is 4.

👤It's easy to put together. Really nice scooter! My son likes the light up wheels. You can buy small razors, but they are much more stable. We were happy with our purchase.

👤Gets your child in shape. My kids like them. I can let them play on the sidewalk. The back is where the stopper is. The ride was light and smooth. The lights are bright.

👤The aim is to de l'enfant. Semble solide.

👤Quality product.

👤Looks like it's built to last. It is durable.

👤My grandson loves this scooter. His sister ruined his back tire when she held the throttle and the brake at the same time. I inquired about a replacement tire. I hope I can change it out if I get one. I talked to a person at VIRO. The tire can't be changed. The entire unit needs to be replaced. Customer service will respond to this. It took a lot of back and forth emails and paperwork, but they replaced the scooter! My grandson was ecstatic that they did.

👤Defective. It stopped working after my son rode it for 10 minutes. I tried putting it on a charge again, but it still didn't work. Customer service has been a joke. I'm still having trouble with them almost three weeks later. They are sending a new battery to see if it will fix it. It has been a week.

👤It says that most scooters battery lasts for 30-40 minutes, but it takes 12 hours to refill. I love the design. I bought used from Amazon. The colors pop. This scooter is supposed to go 10mph. Unless I kick it, Barley moves.

👤The first scooter that Little Tikes replaced quit running after less than 30 days of use. Within the first week of use, the replacement scooter has done the same thing. I've asked for a refund instead of a replacement. The look and design of the scooter is awesome, but not very durable or well built.

👤It is easy to assemble - less than 10 minutes. The colors are pleasing. The scooter is in perfect working order and is able to pull my weight, even though I am 150 lbs and the outer Amazon box came nearly destroyed. It was fun to ride.

👤My youngest son is 14 years old and I bought this scooter for him. The scooter has lights on the left and right sides, which he likes. Both sides light up. It is very smooth but not very well on the bumpy roads and sidewalks. I like how easy it was to assemble this scooter. The only thing I used was a small and large Allen wrench. It also has a charge. The motor of the scooter needs a small amount of gain before it starts. I was very happy with my purchase.

👤It took us 5 minutes to put it together. If you want someone else to put together, don't buy the extra. Total scam.

👤I bought it a couple weeks ago for my boy's birthday. The scooter is loud now that he has ridden it a few times. I don't know if it's normal. It still works, just this noise.

👤A damaged box prevented the scooter from turning on. I was hoping to have it for my son's birthday. They will get a chance to improve my rating if I return and order a new one. The new one works and looks really cool but it's not fast. The kid will have control and that will be a good thing for some people. I bought another popular kids scooter just in case this didn't show up on time and the speed comparison didn't go as planned. The razor one I got will keep up with bikes, but the runtime is twice as long, and not good for the house. The kid will be using the scooter in a certain location. The price will probably double if I want the power and range of the Razor with the VIRO style and size. Hope this helps.

👤Fantastic. The rides are well. I ride with my child when they are on their bike. My daughter has special needs. She is about 170 lbs. She can ride it just fine. Sometimes I don't bother breaking it down because it's not easy the first time, but I love the kickstand, I think it folds up and down reasonably well. It goes fast, the break is easy, and I love the big size of the floorboard. My daughter's foot is a size 9. It was easy to put it together. I could do it myself. I wish I had done that a long time ago. I have had fun in a long time. Get one!

👤This is a top quality scorpion. It's very sturdy, has a strap to carry it, and even has an awesome kickstand. Beautiful design! My kids are 8 and 5 years old, so I like that they can use it. I can ride with them in front if the bars go low enough. The breaks light up. I love everything about it!

👤It was a birthday gift for my son who loved it. I thought it would be an upgrade from his Razor, that still works great but has seen better days after 5 rough years. Quality issues are the reason I'm not a fan. It looks great, rides well, and has great features. The features that sold me on it were disappointing. The kickstand wouldn't hinge up after the first ride because the spring came off. I returned it and received a new one. The strap broke as I picked it up after I removed the plastic from it. The strap has to be removed or connected to the top ring only. My son loves this one and I will not return it. I don't think this will last as long as the Razor. I will not purchase another one.

👤I bought this scooter because it had the largest deck. I thought a good length on the deck would make it easier to place my feet. The area where your foot can reach is the same as all others. I can only fit one foot on the deck, and the other has to either hang off the deck or hover over the brake. The unit is sturdy and rolls well. The graffiti finish is a sticker. You cannot turn off the rear light because it is actuated by movement. You get used to the weird grips. The scooter is a good buy.

👤I've been looking for adult scooters since my girlfriend wanted a scooter for her birthday. I ordered it because it seemed to have great reviews. The package was on it's way when I saw the bad reviews about the scooter tearing apart at the base of the handlebars. I weigh 190 lbs. I stood on it and bounced lightly to make sure I didn't fall. The metal was out of the box in 5 minutes. I went to Lowes and picked up a metal plate, 40 bolts, and 2 large washers for $9, instead of sending it back because I don't have the time. The scooter should be spared from ripping itself apart. I will replace the metal plate with the same width as the scooter. This needed to be done on a brand new scooter.

Brand: Segway

👤I bought 2 Segway scooters for Christmas 2020. I didn't have a plan to ride them until the spring. We took them out for a 10 minute spin in the high 40s on a nice day in January. The fender/braking system snapped off of one of the scooters. On January 14th, I chatted with a person on a Segway. The person I talked to said the scooter is under warranty and the part would be shipped to me within 20 days. The rep was given 4 pictures of the broken fender. I have no part after 2 months and 2 weeks. I've called Segway 3 times. I email them at least 12 times. I asked a supervisor to get involved. He said my trouble ticket would be assigned to him, but still no resolution. The communication from the Segway representatives has been terrible. No one sends me updates. Unless I chase them, no one makes contact with me. I asked if the part was still being manufactured. No one knows the answer to that question. It was suggested that a used part could be shipped to me for repair. I inquired about an exchange and was told a refurbished scooter would be what I would receive. I don't think that's a real resolution. I requested a full refund this morning after I received my purchase receipt. The supervisor from Segway said a box and label would be sent to me because the scooter is under warranty. I was reassured that the company I was buying from was trustworthy. I am warning anyone looking to purchase from Segway that their customer service processes are garbage.

👤This Segway is the best for two reasons: it's best for short commute to and from work, and it's best for bringing up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment or down the subway stairs. I have lighter scooters, but they can't take the pounding of the potholes and atrocious road conditions of Brooklyn, NY, as well as this one does. I bought a heavier scooter that was too heavy for my frame, but it was too heavy for transportation. The compromise is the ES1L. A full charge will get me about 9 miles, but if the weather is cold it will be less. I have to charge it every day to get enough juice. It has a sport mode that can speed you up to 24 kmh, but I haven't used it, and the standard mode is enough for that. I find the 20 kmh speed at standard mode quick enough to get me through the 4.5 mile commute in 35 minutes. The headlights it came with are just bright enough to alert drivers in front of you about your presence - I bought a separate one to illuminate the road in front of me during night time trips. Attach some good ones to your backpack or helmet if you don't have rearlights. The corner of the platform is starting to lift up, but that can easily be fixed. The scooter is light but sturdy. The electric brakes have started to fail a month after purchase. The stroller is kept in the brakes unless you push the brake throttle back up. Customer Service stopped taking a charge after contacting them. I have a dead scooter. I have been waiting for a box to be sent to me for 2 weeks. Segway needs to improve their customer service. Will say how the refurbished unit performs. After a year of regular use, the battery is no longer working. It only lasts 6 miles per full charge on standard speed mode. It is more sensible to replace the battery at the repair shop than it is to do so at the store. The longevity of Segways is not the best.
