Makita DF001DW 3 6V Lithium Ion Screwdriver

There is a mini electric screwdriver, 55 precision bits, 1 extension rod, 1 Magnetizer, 1 magnetic pad, and a storage case. If you have an issue, please contact them. They will solve this problem for you. It is a perfect birthday gift for family and friends. Straight barrel or folds can be used. The 1.5Ah battery is charged by a charging adaptor. The accessory bit set is standard.

Brand: Makita

👤This is a great tool when used in the correct way. I use this to drive screws into control panels. It would be great for an electrician to install device covers or an instrument technician to build panels. I bought a second one because I like it so much. People are having problems with this because they are trying to use it in ways that are not designed to be used. It's not a driver that drives deck screws. It is not a drill that pokes holes. Impact guns and drills are designed by Makita and many other manufacturers. Most people don't need a tool like this. This is a great option for those who do.

👤This is a small tool that can be used to take screws out. It has a lot of power. There is no speed control or Torque setting. You don't have any control over how tight the screws will be, so you can't really use it for that. It's great for Ikea furniture where you have a lot of screws and sometimes they're very long. It's not good for putting up shelves where you want to be careful with the screw. The motor assembly has some intertia, so if you tighten something and let go of the button, it will run for a moment and cause the driver to twist. If it is in the long position, it will roll off any un-level surface. Hanging it from a tool belt or on a workbench is not convenient because it doesn't have an accommodation for a wrist strap, and you have to hunt down your own loop if you want to hang it. If you're on a roof, you might want a wrist strap. A regular driver won't roll off a roof. It's great for things like taking apart computers. Not good for work.

👤I have an old Craftsman 3V powered screw driver that I wanted to replace. I like the tools from Makita and purchased the DF001DW. It has pros and cons. It comes with an impressive assortment of bits that will address anything I will do around this house. The Asian model seemed to be what I got. I can only assume that it came with an Asian electrical plug and an American one. There is no indication of battery life and the charging port is difficult to use. It worked well in the light duty situation I was using it in. It's not as convenient at the Craftsman to have a charging system that is annoying. The selection of bits gets 4 stars.

👤I had an old school version of this. I bought the dewalt gyro turn after it died. Most of my tools are from Makita. I gave it a try. After a few uses, I find myself choosing the dewalt over this. It's under the sink for small jobs.

👤Put it in the box after it was charged. No reverse was used. Amazon referred me to a 90-day warranty from Makita. I was sorry to hear about your tool. This tool will have to be sent back to Canada for a quicker warranty repair because it looks like it is a UK tool. It will take a while to get it into the Factory Service Center because we have to order parts from Canada. It's a good thing to have a warranty, bad if you have to use it, and worse if it's worthless. The box was a waste of money.

2. Pink Power Rechargeable Cordless Screwdriver

Pink Power Rechargeable Cordless Screwdriver

The PP121LI drill has a 3/8” keyless chuck to make changing drill bits easy. This drill has 18 Torque settings, a forward and reverse drilling feature, and two speed settings, which will give you the precision you need to tackle any project. The screwdriver set includes an electric screwdriver with attached bits, a pink magnetic bubble level, and a charging station. It is a great addition to any hand tool kit. There are bits appended to the sledgehammer. The Pink Power 3.6 watt screwdriver has a patented head that holds six screwdriver bits, two of which are connected. The pink screwdriver has forward, reverse and locked positions. It has a two-position handle and a light. The power level is returning. The 3.6V battery in their screwdriver is more powerful than similar electric screwdrivers. The gauge shows the battery charge. There is a small magnetic buoy level. The handheld battery powered screwdriver helps with hanging pictures and small jobs. The magnetic bubble level helps improve accuracy and precision. There is a small magnetic buoy level. 👤This is irreparably broken after a year and a half of very light use. Even if I could solder all of the broken wires, the flaw is not worth the effort. The flaw in the mechanism that allows the handle to be moved from a pistol position to a screwdriver position will break for you too. This is supposed to be a restricted rotation, only in one direction and then back, but it is a tiny piece of plastic that acts to prevent the handle from rotating freely. The plastic will wear down as it did for me. As you adjust its position, the handle will spin around and around. You won't keep track of which way you spun it, and always reverse the turn back and forth. How could you? The handle is connected to the motor via tiny cords. Engineers solved this sort of problem using no brush mechanism. Since they used a bundle of cords to connect the power supply to the motor, these cords will eventually form a tight spindle, and you'll wind up spinning this thing around and around over time. The seller sent a new screwdriver. I expect the new screwdriver to perform better than before. The mechanism for keeping the rotation in check feels very strong. I will upgrade the rating and revisit it if there is bad news.

👤I love this screwdriver. The bits stay attached so you never lose them. I bought the pink one because I wanted my husband to be too embarrassed to use it. He assembles shelves for stores. I'm happy with the purchase because it's the best one I've owned. The led light and reverse switch are easy to use. The pink level was a pleasant surprise. I want to keep it in a pink case. It is well made and pink. I love it!

👤I am very happy with my purchase. I am not a handy person. I got this for myself because I will be moving out to live on my own and I don't own any tool sets, so I need a set. Is light weight and feminine. The bits are attached to the drill, it makes it very convenient for me. I am a bit clumsy. If the bits came separately, I will probably misplace them. With this guy, you won't have to worry about losing them. It does the job despite being not as strong as a typical drill. It can do the basics, like putting furnitures or desks together, but it's not very strong, but for me it works. I fit in my hand at 4 feet 11.

👤Love, love, love this tool. When I opened the package, I thought it was small. I realized it fit my hand perfectly when I used it. I had never realized how much effort I was putting into balancing the drill of my husband's. I am not a small woman, but it felt right. It was adequate to hang up the shelving, towel racks, etc that I used it on, despite the smaller size. The ability to change the angle of the dril was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this product.

LBXR20 20V and the LDX 120 drill/driver are included. The MAX* power connect battery has a battery charger and driver bits. The screwdriver has a 220 RPM speed. The extension shaft of the screwdriver is used to access tight areas. The powered screwdriver has a light on it. 5 common driver bits are included. 5 common driver bits are included.

Brand: Black+decker

👤The device is built well and works well. Can work with batteries. It is not recommended to tighten the screws to the end so as not to destroy the wood, so this use is great. The device I received does not rotation straight, there is a curve in its base, I sent it back and asked for a replacement, I hope this is a point manufacturing defect on this device only and not something that happens on all devices. It is the same problem, very disappointed.

👤I replaced the screwdriver with a new one. I think I wore it out. The old model was priced about the same as the new model but it was built better and had stronger Torque. It came with an extension and some bits. The new screwdriver looks like it will last me a long time. It takes batteries. I don't use self-charging tools often, but when I do they need a charge. I used my old screwdriver for a long time and I expect the same with this new one. When you have an electric screwdriver, you will use it more than you think.

👤Even though it's decades old, the old Black & Decker screwdriver is still better than the one I have. The shallow bit holder on this version is different from the deeper one on the old version. The collar has to be adjusted to change the direction in which the bit turns, not the old version where there were two buttons. Do not buy this downgrade.

👤The Model BCF601 AA is a 6 volt B&D screwdriver. The tool being reviewed has huge disparity in user comments on the turning Torque. The extension bit holder was nice. The latter is the best extension accessory that I have seen. The tool operates off four AA batteries. It is more convenient to carry spare batteries. Now for the bad. The tool that I received has a weak turning power. I have a two speed dog. HP 44L. This is a 4 watt driver. It can turn a screw into a Douglas Fir 2x4 with speed if it is fastened tightly to the wood surface. I also own a Dremel driver. My Dremel driver is one speed only and does the same thing. The B&D literature refers to the speed of driving a screw into wood, so I tried that with this B&D. The screw could only be driven in one quarter of an inch. The extension end-light failed when the screw stopped. I did not have the packaging that referred to pine. I live in Douglas Fir. The #6 screw was driven by each of the other comparison drivers. The original Chinese set and the American set were used. They did the same thing. This tool is useless to me for any practical household use, and not for any use in my woodworking shop. Black and Decker should look at its production system and determine why so many buyers are getting a weak product while other users are satisfied. I use a lot of tools and am not satisfied. Why award two stars? Some buyers may get better performing examples. Another reason is that the extension bit holder is very handy. This is unique in my experience and could be very useful in some applications. The driver can be used without power as a hand-held screwdriver with a lighted extension. It could be useful in some applications.

4. Rechargeable Cordless Pistol Screwdriver Carrying

👤It's strong and compact. I bought a small drill to work on my toys. I decided to move forward with this purchase after some research, and I'm very pleased that I did. I got the larger kit because it comes with a lot of extras for the price, and I don't like wasting time looking for small bits. It's small and not as strong as my Dewalt drills, but it still feels substantial in the hand and has a very solid feel. The power is forward and backwards and it gets the job done. It's strong enough for light jobs that larger drills are just to bulky to do around tight areas. The only option I would have liked was to control the speed at which you drill, so as not to strip screws. I wish this was a variable speed drill, it's the only negative aspect that plays a roll, but, it's not necessarily a deal breaker for me, as most of these small drills lack this one significant option anyway. I deducted the one star because of that. I would buy it again. Definitely. I would definitely recommend it. It's fairly priced without the extra case and bits. To be clear. I never received an item from Amazon for my review. I reviewed this item because it helps the online community. There is no freebies or discounts here for a review. Hope this helps.

👤I have purchased two more for my college age children because we love our SKIL set so much. The small screwdriver with its many attachments can be charged quickly. Powerful enough for everyday use. It is easy to grab and go because of the sturdy case. The magnetic screw driver attachment is very useful. Positive things to say about this set. Every home should have one.

👤I decided to invest in a better power screwdriver for the job because I love putting together flat packed furniture and recently ordered a very complicated crafting cabinet and chose the build-it-yourself option. I have already used this thing multiple times and it is amazing. Since it arrived, I haven't had to charge it. I would have ordered it a long time ago.

👤I saw this on sale and decided to buy it. There are some small projects that a full size drill is too heavy to be used to remove and replace small screws. Very happy with this! It was easy to use and I used it while repairing a TV. The tips are not very magnetic. It was a great deal for the bits and carrying case.

👤I have owned this item for a long time and have used it to put together a bedroom side cabinet. It works great, and it is powerful, and it was held the charge for the entire project. Since finishing, I have it charging off of a block. organizing all the drives necessary for any conceivable job is an added bonus. It has a mini charging cable. It was easier to plug into my power setup. The power driver is light and easy to hold.

👤I've read all the negative reviews before buying this. Some reviewers surprise me with their ability to read and write. I've worked in the automotive industry for more than 20 years and am currently working in the Aerospace industry. The electric screwdriver is not a drill. If a screw doesn't loosen right away, break it loose like a screwdriver, then drive it the rest of the way out, like most electric drivers out there on the planet. And then it closes. My dog could figure it out. All the little bits have a little divit on them. If you can't figure out why your bits are falling out, then you need to go back to life studies. It also has a lock button on top to prevent accidental activation. The paddle buttons are locked when it is pulled back. The driver has a button on it. The magnetic 1/2 bit holder is in the box. The short bit is used in the holder. The can get stuck in the collar if you use the shorty bits. There are small square holds on the sides. How else would you cool the motor? It's an electric motor, so you shouldn't be surprised if it starts. They could have used a motor that was less powerful, but it would have cost more. Since the button is next to your index finger, atrigger would make it more convenient. You have to twist your thumb and index finger to move the paddles. The clutch adjustment ring should be heavier. It's easy to slip your fingers off when you turn it. I will give an update on how long it lasts. Critical thinking is important.

👤The bits are not staying in the screwdriver when held vertically. This is a big issue as most of the projects I had intended for this screwdriver involve the driver being held vertically with the hopes that the drill-bit wont fall out. The screwdriver is less than advertised due to the fact that there is no magnetism. It was very disappointing.

👤There is not much to say about pros and cons. This tool is very well made. It has a great set of bits. The battery lasts forever, I only ran it down once. I've used it to drill and take off nuts. I used to drive the screws into the wood. I use it for popping screws in and out of computer build projects and for that it works like a dream, the light helps a lot when using it to build PCs. 5/5 I'll post it if I can come up with a negative issue. I don't think that will happen.

👤The ergonomics are pretty good. I own a professional Digital Torque meter measurement unit that I use to rate products. I need 10N.m. There is a fastening application. I bought this unit because it had the 10N.m. My application needed MAX Torque. After charging the unit, I tested the Torque multiple times. The time is 10N.m. Only produced 4.40- 4.80N.m. I have a number of similar products, but they are all rated with lower Torque capability, so not suitable for my 10N.m. There are applications. I find it to be very misleading and low integrity. I am a professional engineer and direct a product development company that is trying to purchase a tool that will perform as a manufacturer says it will.

6. BLACK DECKER Cordless Screwdriver BDCS50C

BLACK DECKER Cordless Screwdriver BDCS50C

It's easy to see in dimly lit areas. The battery on the scredriver can hold charge for up to 18 months. The screwdriver has 8 bits for a variety of tasks. The powered screwdriver can be easily accessible with the help of the Rotobit rotating bit cartridge. The light illuminates the work surface. Extra screws are freed up by the on board magnet. Extra screws are freed up by the on board magnet.

Brand: Black+decker

👤A screwdriver. The unit is sturdy enough to allow me to apply some pressure. The Trigger is comfortable to hold. B&D has solved a couple of basic issues with these tools, one of which is a place to store the bits on the unit. It's better than "in my pocket". As for those bits? I can't wait to use them on my next project because they look like the ones from my full-sized B&D drill, and they include square, star, and hex bits. The internal battery is a 4V li-ion, which is the most forgiving type of battery, and is also safe to throw in the trash when the unit reaches its end of life. Why would you want one of these, instead of using your corded drill? I wanted to be able to get into smaller spaces and not have to worry about damaging the material with a powerful device. I've compared them directly now. The screwdriver weighs 1/3 what the drill does. A big difference for the home user. There is a lack of a charging light or battery capacity light. You can't tell how much battery is left, when it's done charging, or how fast it's charging. B&D engineers should use the battery gauge on the cheapest battery packs and the red/green light on the power adapter, instead of the drill, because it's child's play. I don't think the omission on such a mature product is enough to mark down my rating. This isn't the lightest or cheapest electric screwdriver on the market, but it feels substantial, has an integrated battery, and still weighs 1/3 as much as a modest corded drill. It is recommended.

👤Three drivers were bought at the same price. There are two of them, the Greenworks and the SKIL. This is the largest of the three, and is in the middle. It works well, but the cord is fake. The SKIL can be charged from any power source. A common DC plug is used by the Greenworks. The rotating bit holder is not really needed. We will reach for the SKIL first.

👤My husband is the worst when it comes to tools, he always has them in random drawers all over the house, and they never go back where they came from. I needed a small screw driver and electric drill for small household tasks. I got it out of the box and my husband was already looking at it. Do you need anything tightened? Can I take this bit to my shop? I told him that it was made for girls and that he should be happy. Let see if that works. The perfect ittle household tool is a great tool, very compact, decent power, and long advertised battery life. If I can find it tomorrow, I will be very happy. P.S. This is not just for girls, I was just being funny.

👤Black and decker might not be considered one of the top tools, but there are no worries here. The thing does not have as much Torque as a drill, but it does get small jobs done. This is a great tool to use for small jobs around the house or to put together cabinets for a project. It comes with standard bit sets. The storage mechanism that houses the bits makes this thing stand out. The tool works in the final. It's a good deal. It's a good idea to have this tool in your tool set. Brand: Lionmount

👤This is a great toy for women to play with and it is pink too. I survived cancer. It is a great drill.

👤I've used this on a few projects and like it. It is easy to use and charge. This drill isn't a regular size drill and so it doesn't have the power of one, but it does get the smaller jobs done, like building furniture. I have a problem with it because you have to work things into the slots in the case to get them to stay and I have one piece that I can't get into its rightful home. Be sure to open over a surface to catch anything that falls out of the delivery. If the pieces don't fit in their slots, try to swap them out or turn them slightly to see if they fit better. I was able to get everything to stay in their places, but for one piece that just doesn't fit at all.

👤I love it! I've put together 2 Ikea dressers and 2 Amazon furniture pieces with it. It is easy- easy. I wish it had a bag to hold it all together. I have them in a gallon bag.

👤I bought this for my wife. It comes as advertised. The pictures show that it is changeable. Its strong for its size. The set is great for small projects. I can't recommend it for heavy duty work. I'm happy with the purchase.

👤The charging port broke off inside of the drill because it wasn't supported on the charging board.

👤I like the color. If someone else is using mine, I can tell. It's easy to charge and get the snapped end out of the drill pen.

👤It is easy to use, lightweight and works, but the drill bits come out when I remove the drill from the wall. Disappointed.

👤I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it looks great.

9. SKIL Pivot Rechargeable Cordless Screwdriver

SKIL Pivot Rechargeable Cordless Screwdriver

The perfect power screwdriver is easy to use. It's not certain if you want a straight or standard grip screwdriver. The small drill can adjust to both depending on your project. A battery keeps this tool charged for an extended period of time. Ready to go, power up your electric screwdriver. It's easy to see when working in dimly lit areas. It's easy to see when working in dimly lit areas.

Brand: Skil

👤I wanted a screwdriver with a small profile. It works well. The forward switch is on the left side and the reverse is on the right side of the tool, which I don't like. The majority of my tools are reversed. On the right side, forward and reverse. I'm a contractor and it throws me off a bit. To remind me of the direction before using it, I got a black marker and wrote R and F on it. A simple fix. I like the option of pivoting. A good tool. Highly recommended. This isn't a tool for drilling. It is only for driving.

👤This is a simple screwdriver to use. My light-duty Black & Decker wore out. I'll use the Skil for simple assembly tasks only. This has the usual 3-click switch and adds a light to your subject screw. The bit kit is sparse, with only one decent flathead bit for smaller screws, so you'll want to use an additional bit kit from your previous driver. In more sizes. There are 3Phillips heads bits, a couple of wild cards, and a magnetic extender. If you don't abuse it, it should last you awhile. The port for charging is convenient.

👤I like this device. The built in light is great and the battery charge lasts for a long time. I only had one problem. The tip of the device was lost when the magnet fell out. I was able to replace it with glue and a tiny hobby magnets, and now everything is working correctly. I think Amazon sells those magnets for around $10 They are in a small box that is about the size of a AA battery. I use this screwdriver as my primary tool for removing screws. It's not strong enough to use as a drill, but it's strong enough to use as a tool.

👤It has all the drill bits you need for home use. The 2-1/2" bit extension can be used when the pivot's nose can't fit in narrow areas. The forward and reverse drive switch positions are different from what I expected, but once I get used to that it will be the perfect home screwdriver.

👤I use this as a screwdriver occasionally and it does a good job. I use a 5mm nut driver instead of the included bits. It lasts more than a day for my personal use case. The screwdriver cannot be used while the battery is charging and the battery cannot be swapped out. I had to glue mine back in place after I found that the magnet that held the driver bits would eventually fall out. The part that holds the driver bit in the screwdriver seems to be a few mil wider than needed so it might detatch if you use a nut driver. It's not perfect but it's half the price of the yellow brand.

👤It can either be Straight or at a right angle, and it's powerful for its size. I like that I can lock it in a neutral position so it doesn't have a lot of power for its size, and I also like that it can be Straight or a right angle. I like that I can lock it in a neutral position so it doesn't end up running the battery down from another tool pushing on thetrigger. Great purchase!

👤The lowest Torque limit is too high, slippery grip, no way to adjust speed, I bought this on a whim since I loved the HOTO P1 so much. There's some thoughtful non-traditional design features, like the carrying case which also carries some long 1/4 hex drive bits, theusb-C charging, and the buttons that point in the direction that you want to screw, at first blush. Do you want to screw something in? The button points towards the screw. "Lefty loosey, righty tighty" is no longer ambiguous. The included bits are also okay. Mildly magnetized and with a decent finish. It's much nicer than a gun-shaped power drill and it's also compact. The carrying case is small. Good design features end there. This thing is not usable. There's too much of it, that's the root of the issue. That would be a good thing. The screwdriver has a switch to adjust the speed. When you press the button, you get all of the speed and Torque. You get stripped screws if you combine this with a philips head screw. You might think that the Torque Limiter will save you. The O1 Pro has three settings. The O1 has an electronic Torque Limiter, which means it doesn't have the impact action of a power drill. The lowest setting stripped my screws or caused me to cam out. The O1 does not have speed control. It's on or off. The fact that the body is round makes this lack of speed control worse. The outside is covered in a nice, mildly rubberized finish that won't degrade quickly. It's still slippery. I had to strong-arm the darn thing while trying to press the button. The cheaper version of this product has flats on it, which would improve the grip situation. This one is round. The O1 looks nice, but it's not usable. There are more criticisms. The flashlight is not very bright. There is a lot of wasted space in the case. The battery status on startup should be told by the power LEDs. The HOTO NEX O1 Pro might be the most disappointing I've been in. They've put some thought into the little touches, and I think it's great that they've tried to re-think the power screwdriver. I don't think I'll use it because of the lack of speed control and the round grip shape. I'm hoping for a v2 that addresses these, because once HOTO covers the basics, they'd have a superior product compared to the competition.

👤This is worth the purchase for small jobs. I put the shelves together after I received it. See the video. The blue led light auto turns on when the driver is in use, but it doesn't seem as beneficial as the current power tools. It might get the job done in low light. Powerful enough to assemble manufactured furniture. Storage case feels sturdy to protect from falls and it's easy to switch out bits. If the internals are sensitive, I wouldn't drop the driver. Controls are easy to use. I used it out of the box. The driver's Torque can cause it to spin in your grip, causing you to stop, hit reverse or switch it off. If you are not careful, you can reverse or forward. A switch for direction might be a design upgrade. Adding a screw in handle on the side might help prevent the driver from spinning in your grip as well, since the driver is cylindrical. Initial use makes the purchase worthwhile. I keep this in my day pack so I can resolve small jobs at work and home. I will review it if anything changes.

Brand: Nocry

👤I did a lot of research before buying this. The NoCry 10 N.m Corldess Electric screwdriver is very nice. I've used either my power drill or hand screwdrivers for decades. I'll give a screwdriver a try. I wanted a small, built-in battery, variable speed, and a built-in battery where you just plug in a power cord to charge. NoCry seems to be the only one that hits all of these points, and it's the only one out there. The price point is very reasonable and has great features. You get a tool, a cable extension, and a bit set for just $29.99, and it's in a nice little box. The feel of the tool is very strong and well built. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The NoCry and a normal-size power drill are shown in the photo.

👤I don't know how it happened, but it was very close to being burned down. When I came back, there was smoke and smell of electrical wiring burning, because it wasn't charging, it was just on the table. The drill is beyond repair.

👤I bought this for my toolkit as an IT technician. I bought this driver for its price and performance. Some of the machines I pull have screws that need more oomph. The written material and email correspondence seems legit, even though I was slightly worried about the brand. This isn't a Chinese imitation. It's not the best in close quarters, even using the flexible extension, but that can be said of any driver of the same size. I only need a few more bits for drilling. There is a I thought it would be bigger. The bits are not magnetized for holding screws. There is a worklight and a battery level indicator.

👤I bought this to use on guitar amplifier cabinets. I was close to buying a $9 job from Harbor Freight, but I decided to look at Amazon instead, because I wanted a better screwdriver. I researched the screwdrivers and kept coming back to this one. The price is a bit more than I wanted to spend but the reviews convinced me to buy it and I like it so far. I thought the flex extension would be stupid. I used it on my first amplifier cabinet as there are tight spots inside that I would never be able to get to with an extension. I don't like the fact that there was no case or carry bag, just a plastic shell that it shipped in. The cheapest tool bag is $6.99 and it works well for my needs. The included bits and holder are a nice touch, and I prefer having the bits included and grabbing a toolbag over having a toolbag and having to go buy bits. I'd bet I couldn't find a decent set for 7 bucks.

👤I have used and worn out several screwdrivers. The NoCry is superior in every way, even though it is slightly heavier than the other models I have owned. It has a mechanical clutch with five different settings which helps prevent over-tightening, it has a built-in light to help see, and it is a quality built product. Even though I put together three storage cabinets, it is still going strong. It comes with a small bit set and a 12” wobble extension. I tested the extension out in my shop, and it is a handy tool. I paid a little more for this model than a cheaper one, and I 100% recommend it.
