Two layers of reinforced material are strong and high quality. The U.S.CPSC andASTM safety standards are used. There are 3 sizes. Small is for children. The helmet size should be determined by the head circumference. It is suitable for various outdoor sports such as biking, skateboarding, skating, scooter, rollerblade, longboard, and so on. The 11 vents provide enough air flow to keep the user cool. A custom fit is provided by the crank adjustment dial, which includes 2 sets of pads with different thicknesses, and length-adjustable chin straps.
👤The helmet was comfortable to wear. I've had helmets that were either too tight or designed in a way that made them hit pressure points on my head that gave me a headaches. I didn't have that problem with this helmet. It was easy to adjust and fit my family as well. It matches my bike and I love the color. I like that the helmet stays on my head when I ride my bike through rough terrain, and it doesn't block my vision when I slide it down. They tend to slide down even if the helmets are fastened securely. The helmet does not move once it is adjusted. I can still wear a low ponytail if I keep my head on my head.
👤I got the large and it fits my hair just right, the cost was worth it. This one is perfect if you don't have a helmet.
👤Works as intended. It feels snug. It came with extra replacement pads for the inside. Most helmets do not include extra. It had a bag for storage.
👤My daughter likes this helmet. No more complaining about wearing a helmet. There are 2 different thicknesses of the pads. She likes the thicker pads for more air flow. She covered hers with waterproof stickers. The finish was great.
👤This is a great helmet. My 13 year old son and my 9 year old daughter are the same age. They use it to ride bikes and skateboards.
👤I don't think this helmet is a good one, but it seems to be made with a good weight and feel to it. Helmets were the same as depicted on Amazon. Extra foam pads ensure maximum comfort. The bag is nice and can be used to store the helmet when not in use. I bought one for myself and my wife. It feels like a good purchase so far. There was nothing negative to say about the helmets. That's it. I have a large head. I will either return the large size or keep it for my son to grow up in. There was nothing negative to say about this helmet. I try to use it for something other than a hat holder if you have an extra large noggin. Measure before you buy a helmet. You get one that fits.
👤I bought this helmet for my niece, who is 10 years old. It arrived quickly and looks great. I haven't given it to her yet, so I can't review it. She is big for her age and some youth hats or helmets don't fit her. The ability to adjust it with a dial is something I like about this one. I tried it on myself, and was able to adjust it from being too small to fit on my head, so hopefully it will fit my niece for a while since it can grow with her.
👤These helmets are sturdy. I had a massive head injury when I was 8. I have worn helmets for many sports through the years. The fit is good and can be adjusted with a knob. I bought 3 helmets at the same time, hoping they were good, instead of ordering 1 and the other 2. I'm happy that I did. Measure around the head and fore head, as there is a difference between medium and large. I ordered two large and one medium. The large was too large for one child and the medium too small for the other. If you don't measure your kids head, you may be upset if you get the wrong size. These helmets are as good as any I've had. I don't know how they will hold up on impact, but from the material and build they seem sturdy enough for a minor impact or crash.
Helmet X1, Elbow pads x 2, knee pads x 2, wrist guards x 2 are included. In Motion official upgrade accessories are an official product. If you need to verify, you can contact them and they will give you the verification you need. With the power pads originals from In Motion, you can hold your V11 during jumps and increase the angular pressure to produce more active acceleration and braking. It is feasible design. It protects the calf muscles and improves riding comfort on the electric unicycle. The shape of this product fits the human body and has a special effect on the wheels. It is easy to install. It's easy to install, just peel off the film and stick on the INMOTION V11. Only the INMOTION V11 self-Balancing electric unicyle is compatible with other electric unicycles.
👤It's legit original pads for the V11.
👤The power pads don't help with riding like other power pads. They are open. If that is what you are looking for, buy another set. They look good on the V11.
👤Go with another style is worth $25 The installation instructions were bad. If you put them on the wrong way, you have to put something on the EUC. Once you research how to put them on, they are ok.
👤It's better to use original glue and use a piece of velcro to stick onto the wheel.
👤Alles in ordnung. It was as advertised.
👤Klebestreifen was dran. Hlt, mal ansatzweise uf meinem v11.
👤The items arrived earlier than expected. Very reliable.
Beverly Hills Fitness has a patented design. It protects the calf muscles and improves riding comfort on the electric unicycle. The shape of this product fits the human body and has a special effect on the wheels. King'song: 18L, 18XL, 16X. Msuper 2, Msuper 3, Msuper X, Msuper X pro, nikola plus, monster V1, V2, V3 are some of the GOTWAY.
👤The 3m tape is junk. The peel off backing took the glue off. The proper way to attach is with a product like a Velcro. I put my unicycle in the soft side of the Velcro. The hard hook should be on the pads. You can adjust and remove the pads whenever you please. Since I put the pads on, I've only dropped my uni once. I ran off the wheel but it fell on the gravely asphalt. The pads took it well. They fit the same way as they were made of each other. Take your old pads off and put them on with velcro. It's not a problem if you want to go back and forth between the power pads and your original pads.
👤It ships from China and has great quality and fast shipping. The pads were delivered 10 days after the order was placed. The pads are thick. The foam has not shown any signs of tearing, even though I stuck my pads on and peeled them off a few times. The only negative is that the pads don't fit the Kingsong 18XL as the footplates are unable to be folded back against the wheel due to the pad. I didn't want to remove the top pads on the 18XL in order to get the footlates to fold back. The Green Fashion pads would sit too high for me to use my feet to lift them.
👤It is very expensive with what you are getting. It is very hard to ride on the sherman. If needed, can be used as jump pads. It wasn't my jam, but some people may like it.
👤I love these, they make a world of difference. If you want to buy pads, make sure you place them where you want them, because once you remove the sticky back, it can't be replaced.
👤I decided to go with these because I was looking for decent pads. I have only ridden 35 miles with them, but I can already tell they will be a significant upgrade over stock pads. They help with strong acceleration and braking. These are not designed for comfort, they are designed for performance. The pad is very stiff and can take some getting used to.
👤These pads hurt like hell on your shins when jumping up or down a curb or stairs, but they help with performance of myMSX. They need to have the ability to squeeze into them. Trying to find a way to make them softer.
👤This is a big deal. I put this under my cover. The soft cover keeps the back part in place, so I didn't take it off permanently. If you want to close my pedals, just move the pads up. If you have a cover, I can see the issue, but not if you mount them. I tried making my own Kuji pads, but they were okay, but this gives me more control of the wheel. I would take the $500 wheel with the pads if I had the choice.
The high resistance shell has a strap. The design reduces wind noise. It is possible that it meets or exceeds DOT safety standards. Helmet liners are lightweight, soft and easily replaceable. There is a flip-up function that protects against scratch, anti-Fog and wide view clear visor. The helmet has several lights that will flash at different speeds depending on the rider. The control button on the back of the helmet is where the LEDs can be accessed. The helmet has several lights that will flash at different speeds depending on the rider. The control button on the back of the helmet is where the LEDs can be accessed.
👤It was my favorite helmet. It was a perfect fit. I liked the fact that I could wear it as both a full faced helmet and a half faced helmet. After the return window expired, a screw came loose while I was riding on the highway, the visor caught the wind and flipped up, violently whipping my head in the process. I almost lost control in the process, which could have been bad, as I was crossing a bridge and got uncomfortably close to the edge. I don't want to use it anymore. I almost died after the helmet wasn't perfect.
👤It is not a five star helmet. It's a five star value for a helmut. I have had some issues so far. The screws were exposed by a small plastic piece. You can't put it back on when the plastic tabs break. There is no loss of function. It's just a look. One of the screws on the visor connection fell off. The visor hangs off and needs to be removed. You are driving without it. I went to the home depot and took the remaining screw and the helmut. You might want to keep a screwdriver with spare screws on you. You can get the screws in the speciality rack in hardware that has the metric sizes. It will fog when it gets cold and rainy. You need to apply liberally, let it dry completely, buff lightly to clear, and breathe on it to see if there is fog, but Rain-X Anti-Fog does work. I should be able to get a second application. If it's moist outside, you may need to re- apply every other run if you find condensation forming where your nose breathes on the visor. I always have a second visor ready to go.
👤I always have preferred dual visor helmets, and am happy to find a good priced DOT approved one. The matt black is simple and perfect. I used the helmet's size guide to get small after measuring on the lower end. I have been medium in other helmets and extra small in others so it is good to know the ILM size chart is accurate. The bag is free. The chin strap closes with a clip which is easy and sturdy. The vision range through the shield is important. The cheek buffer is placed low down so that you don't have to pull on your eyes. The feature of the helmet is nice, but I won't wear it much. You could use your phone while wearing a helmet. The dark UV screen visor has a switch on the left side that allows you to see photos. I was very satisfied with my new helmet.
👤For the price, you can't beat this helmet. The modular functions are easy to operate. Once you get used to where everything is. Even if you use the sizing chart, they do run a little big, so order a smaller size than you think. I was expecting better quality for a $65 helmet. I ordered another one for my wife and added bike to bike communication for long rides after I got mine. All in all, very pleased with this. We ordered one for my wife after we received mine. For my wife, we ordered the helmet to the measured size according to the chart, even though I agree that the helmets run big. I shave my head and put a skull cap under the helmet to improve the fit. My wife has long, thick hair so ordering to the measured size fits her perfectly. When you order one of these, keep that in mind. The helmet functions great, and if you want to make it better, you should remove the screws that hold in the clear shield and put Loctite on them, as there are only 2 screws that hold this in, and they have a tendency to work loose. Happy riding!
The battery system, flag, and charger have a battery life of up to 40 minutes. It's recommended for youth ages 8-14, but won't fit most heads. Take a head measurement. Even within an age range, head sizes and shapes can vary. A helmet that doesn't fit can be dangerous. The neck roll is comfortable. Buckle can be side-squeezed for easy adjustment. The U.S.CPSC has a safety standard for bicycle helmets. Also complies with U.S. safety standards.
👤This is not a motorcycle helmet. This is not a sufficient helmet if you are putting your child on a motorized vehicle. I wanted something with better protection than the standard helmet because my son was getting bolder in his bike riding. It is lightweight with good air flow, so it is good for a bike when peddling and building up a sweat. I gave it 4 stars because the inside has foam pads that are attached with double-sided tape, I found the application of the pads to be done poorly and as a result my sons hair was sticking to the tape and pulling his hair. I think Bell will do better. He was happy when I rubbed the tape to make it less sticky after 10 minutes.
👤Well made face. The chin piece is not an add on. I prefer a solid one piece shell. The interior is sparse. I like this style. Solid foam with soft foam padding. The cheek pieces are soft foam. The front interior chin has protection. I don't want a motorcycle type lining in a helmet. If you don't wash the seat out frequently, it will be too hot and stinky, and you won't get any added protection. The neck should have been more like ethafoam. This is a big negative for this helmet. The chin strap is not the Y around the ear style. I prefer the Y style on reg open face helmets as they are more prone to move and shift in a fall, but I have no problem with this on a full face. Extra foam like helmets used to come with it. This helmet will work for me. I would have given 5 stars if cheek pads and neck roll were functional.
👤I was going to get a helmet for my son, but then I thought about his ears, face and teeth. My son hit the pavement first at the skate park, and this helmet saved his face and jaw.
👤The product shows incorrect sizes. For 8+ years old. The helmet is 54-58 cm for 14 years old. The helmet seems good. Light weight. Nice designs. There could be more face/chin padding.
👤I would like to give this helmet a 5. My son's hair gets stuck to the sticky parts of the padding at the top of the helmet which pulls his hair when he takes it off. One of the side pads fell out before it was even used. We love it, other than that.
👤The size of the helmet works for kids of different sizes. The clasp is not much slack. The rubberband seems to fix the issue.
👤The size listed is not the case helmet, it's 51 cm to 58 cm. Kids who measure between 51 cm and 53.5 cm are not suitable for self shows.
👤The padding on the helmet was peeling off. The foam feels cheap and flimsy. Does not feel useful. It is sad but true.
Flybar helmets are great for a number of activities. The Flybar Helmet protects you from potentially harmful impact while engaging in sports. Every helmet has the same trustworthy protection to keep both kids and adults safe during multi-sports activities. The Flybar Helmet has 12 wide stylish vents that give even air flow to keep cool. S/M is available in three sizes: 53-55 cm, M/L is 55 cm and L is 58 cm. To get a perfect fit, measure your head's circumference starting in the middle of your forehead. It is possible to adjust the fit. The Flybar Helmets have a spin dial on the back that can be adjusted to ensure a perfect fit.
👤My son will get this for Christmas. The plastic clasp under his chin broke after he really liked it. I think he wore it less than 6 times before it broke. He is a camper who is unhappy. My review was changed to 5 starts. They made it right after talking to Flybar customer service. They immediately offered to send another picture after I sent an email showing the issue. I like spending my money with companies like that.
👤The helmet was a good fit and well made, but within 18 months the straps on both sides were malfunctioning, as the helmet was being put on. My daughter wore it approximately 40 times during that time. If the strap integrity is questionable, the helmet could separate from them during a collision. I am happy we didn't discover the flaw.
👤I use this helmet for riding my skateboards. It's rugged and keeps me safe. I clipped the light through one of the holes on the front of the bike. The helmet is a good value.
👤It was important to me that the helmets my kids use when they go to skateparks and do tricks on their scooters are certified by both the American Society for Testing and Materials and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The certification of the ASTM seems to be more rigorous. The helmet is comfortable and solid. It may be a bit heavy, but not much. It looked great and was a good value. Happy with the purchase!
👤I ordered a black helmet and a grey one. I needed this immediately since my son's helmet was destroyed at school. I called Amazon and they made the trade for the correct one very easy, I got my money back and they let me keep the wrong one. My son's head size was between the m/l and l/xl. He barely fits the one we have to keep. Enough with that issue. The helmet is very sturdy, nice color, and the paddings are great. The adjustment option on the back is amazing. My son did the same. He likes the idea of twisting the adjustment nob to make it a little more snug. He wore the helmet and said he loved it. It was comfortable, comfortable, comfortable and looks cool. I'm a happy customer. The right size will arrive tomorrow. Thank you for fixing it so fast.
👤I wasn't sure if this was a good order because there weren't any reviews about adults using it. I am 29 years old and got a scooter to get around in the city because I work a few blocks away. The helmet fit great and the padding is very comfortable.
👤I'm happy to see this line of helmets. When my son outgrew his previous helmet, I was worried about the cost of a new one. We decided to give this helmet a try because it looked like a solid alternative to the Nutcase, and at half the price, we decided to give it a try. It was as good as our last helmet. The turn dial for sizing the inside is awesome, and the vent is great. It's a great fit, sturdy, and all the design options look great. We'll stick with Flybar in the future.
Ventilation involves pulling cool air in through the front and pushing it through an air-channel matrix to reduce overheating. The helmet pads are soft, comfortable and easy to clean. It's designed for bikes cycling, city commute, electric bike, trek bike, road bike and etc. Good Helmet: Apply high quality PC shell material and high-density EPS foam for better shock absorption upon initial impact, manage the energy from impacts effectively and offer tremendous protection. Bicycle helmets with plug-in rear light provide the highest and best possible protection and visibility on the city streets. The soft lining and full in-mold construction of your helmet ensure that it is comfortable wherever you ride. The one-handed fit system adjusts height and circumference. The helmet's diameter is from 22.44 to 24 Inches.
👤The helmet was advertised and it came as advertised. The light has three modes and is very bright. The two best are the slow flashy and steady. The color is deep blue. It's a cheap helmet and we'll see how well it works over the next year or so. I'm going to give it five stars because it has a real lite at this price and it has a charging port for the rear light. My head is 22 and a half inches, so I ordered the universal large. There is a I chose to get the large as it was an option and I'm glad I did. The adjustments can open all the way up and be loose on my head, but I can still adjust it down very tight and still adjust down a little more. The helmet would fit if I shaved my head. If your head measurement is over 22 inches, you should get the large. If your head measurement comes in at or below 22 in, I would say you can go for the medium, but keep in mind that you'll be on the far end of the loose adjustment side for the medium. I'm writing this review for the size as I'm shopping around for helmets on Amazon, it was difficult to find the right size. If I had gone by the size chart, I would have bought a medium, but I got the large. I hope this will help the next person looking on the internet for a helmet.
👤This helmet has only been worn twice but it is loving it. It's very lightweight and comfortable. I love the modern look of the chin straps. I was hesitant on size, but I was glad I went with Large. For reference, my head is 22.5" I can make the large snug. The price seems to be a great value.
👤I crashed my bike after only having my new helmet for 6 weeks. I put my bike down. The terrain on the greenway was changed to a brand new fiberboard. The tires went out from under me even though it was dry. I was bounced on the right side of my head. I was crushed my shoulder. All clear! I was wearing a helmet. It could have been very bad, but still have a slight headaches and a sore shoulder. My doctor told me that bike helmets are only good for one crash. I will be ordering another one of these helmets.
👤I've had a lot of hats and helmets. I ordered this Large thinking it would be the best size, but it doesn't fit well. My head is like a bolt into a nut. It's too small for padding or air movement. I'll have to buy another product because they don't have a larger helmet size. The helmet looks really nice. The padding inside was very thin and fell off easily when I took it out of the packaging. The inner strips of padding are hard to stick to. I might have dodged a bullet if I had returned for a refund.
A skateboard helmet with high impact-absorbing foam and thick soft foam. Sweatsaver fabric is plush. The U.S.CPSC has a safety standard for bicycle helmets for people over the age of 5. The Sweatsaver pads are brand new and will fit for a couple of hours before the helmet is completely broken in, but there are two different size sets of Sweatsaver pads to choose from. There are four different sizes: S/M, L/XL, and XXL. Measure around the head with a soft tape measure or string liners to determine the proper size.
👤I told myself before buying this that I hadn't wiped out on a bike since I was 12. I thought my old one was fine. My spouse told me to just buy a new one because I bike so much, and I listened, and I'm so glad I did. There was a lot of loose gravel leftover because the neighborhoods around us were being freshly paved. I flew off my seat after hitting a lip and stones on my road bike. I felt the shell of my helmet vibrate as I hit the pavement. I never write reviews, but I am writing one today because I still have a brain. No neck pain, no head pain, and no problems. I tore my leg and shoulder. I was able to bike a few miles home with an intact skull. If you have to, buy your head size up, because it's nice and snug, but don't buy this helmet.
👤It saved me from a traumatic brain injury. The brakes on my skateboard failed as I was going downhill. I tried to run it out because I was going too fast when I realized what was happening. I made it about 3 or 4 steps. It was hard. I put my hands out to facilitate a roll, and I did it, but I also banged my head on the pavement 3 times. I broke my collarbone when I was hit on the right side. I had a broken thumb, a broken collarbone, road rash on both shoulders and hips, and no injuries to my head or brain. The helmet's skin has road rash from all 3 hits. I think this helmet saved me from a traumatic brain injury. People, wear a wig. This helmet is sleek, not dorky, and the value of not having a traumatic brain injury is worth it. It's better to have it sweaty than bloody. WEAR A HELMET! Wear pads as well. I had pads on my knees and elbows. I broke my thumb while wearing slide gloves that are not designed for hard hits to the ground.
👤I love this helmet. The color is great. Breathable. The picture is very accurate in showing the true color of the Mint. My head is 22in, so I ordered a size L/XL. It's better to have it fit a little snug for safety. The texture of the finish is soft. If you're like me, and you're on the cusp, I would recommend a more snug fit and go with the smaller size.
👤I love this helmet. It's shiny, comfortable, and cute. If you look at the picture, you'll see that there is a black spot on the yellow in the glitter rainbow, it was from just one small piece of glitter. I sealed it better and now I don't have that issue anymore.
👤My head is at the end of a S/M and the beginning of a L/XL. It was perfect, I went with a S/M. I won't use extra padding since it's snug as it is, but if you're right on the line between sizes, go for the smaller one. Triple 8 helmets are great and I have used them before. It's good at protecting your brain but also comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time.
The foam arms and rubber back rest protect your guitar. The helmet size is about 52-57 cm/20.5-22.4 inch. The size of the skateboard / skate protection gear is M, which complies to the standards of the European Union. Multiple Using Range - skateboard helmet/ Protection Set are perfect for protecting you while skateboarding, roller blading, bicycle and many other outdoor sports. The helmet strap and elastic pads straps have been upgraded with a more secure fit for various knee boys and girls. The skateboard helmet has a sidecut design for an easy fit with a chin strap and 11 Vents. The material is durable and the gift is best. It is a good gift for Children's Day, Christmas, Birthday, etc. The package includes a helmet, Wrist Guards, Elbow Pads, and Knee Pads. ,Skateboard / Skate Protection Pads Set with Helmet--Symbol Life Helmet with 6pcs Elbow Wrist Pads for Kids Youths BMX/Cycling/Rollerblading For Head M (20.5-22.4 inch) Black.
👤The knee straps were a bit tight, but I am 5 foot 2, 155 lbs and the reviews were many. That was all.
👤I ordered a size medium for my grandson to wear. He likes them and will keep them on. The seller has great customer service. I am very happy that my order took longer to be delivered than I anticipated, and the seller was very kind and respectful. 5 stars for the helmet and pads and 5 starts for great customer service.
👤I'm 250 lbs and yet everything fits. All pads and a helmet. When you adjust the straps, it's very variable. Even though I picked free shipping, the package came in 3 days. Excellent!
👤I bought 3 sets. Two sets for my daughters and granddaughters. I bought a set for my grandson. My 13 year old has knee pads that are small. She does not have large knees and is well under the weight advised. The small set for my 4 year old grandson fit with the exception of the Helmut which was way to large. The 11 year old granddaughter all fit the medium set. She has an average build of 90 lbs. Some of the items in sets are small and some are large compared to what is advertised. I will have to purchase replacements individually or send the complete sets back to be tried again. I spent a lot of time reviewing but then I decided to go back to the drawing board.
👤The helmet is cheap and has a thin inner lining. There is a strap that adjusts for size. Without it, this helmet would be too big for me. The helmet is uncomfortable to wear. I wouldn't trust this helmet for more serious activity, even though it's fine for casual skateboarding/rollers skating/ or biking. The pads are not damaged. I was looking for them to be a bit tight. My last set was too big and when I fell, my knee and elbow pads slid up my legs and left me with a rough road rash. The only reason I am keeping this product is because of the pads. If you are buying this for only the helmet, you should look for one that is better.
👤We decided she needed more protection after a bad spill on her skateboard caused a bruise on her elbow. She feels safer using it. Since we got the protection, she has not taken a bad spill and is more confident to skateboard.
👤Wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads are very hard to put on securely because of the large straps. I would suggest buying the helmet and other items from a higher quality seller.
👤I had high expectations, but this is not one size fits all. The knee pads were tight, the elbow pads were too long, and the hand pads were loose. I thought I had the knees and elbow pads mixed up. The pads on the knee hurt more to fall because of them. The helmet and hand pads fit. I might as well keep the bunch and give the rest away. I am 5'3 and 145 pounds.
Bell pioneered a process called fusion in-molding that bonds the helmet's outer shell to the foam liner. The process of engineering a helmet liner with variable foam densities is needed to better manage the transfer of energy. Flex Spherical enhances their ability to address high-speed impacts, low-speed impacts, as well as rotational impacts. It's an added bonus to be able to design a better helmet. The chin bar is designed for trail riding. There are no tools required. Chin bars have limits, and serious injury or death can occur. Before using your helmet, read the owners manual. Quick-drying materials, woven with real silver fibers, are used in X-staTIC and XT2 PADDING. Sweat Guide pads pull water away from the brow pad and away from eyewear. A comfortable and secure fit system with an easy-to-turn rubber overmolded dial for adjustments. Overbrow Ventilation has intake ports on the brow of the helmet to push cool air through the air-channel matrix. The visor system can be used without the visor attached. The camera mount is designed to break away upon impact to reduce the risk of injury. Small, Medium, and Large sizes are specified. Take a head measurement. Even within an age range, head sizes and shapes can vary. 19 Vents, 2 Brow ports, and 4 Chin Bar vents are dangerous if a helmet does not fit.
👤I was considering the Bell Super 3 MIPS for a while, having seen a number of positive pro reviews, and through some research found that it was not downhill rated, despite it having a similar wraparound face mask. The purpose of having a face mask is defeated by this kind of thing. The Bell Sixer and the Super 3 have additional color options that I would prefer. I wore the red to help with visibility, especially for towing our toddler in the trailer in the neighborhood. The convertible helmet is great for its utility. For more demanding rides, lock in the face mask and wear the half-shell. My kids know it's my go fast mask. The half-shell is great. There is plenty of padding for shavers. The retention mechanism is not hard plastic and I have not had it with other brands. This is one of the areas of concern with the helmets. The padding in the bike helmets is designed for people with hair. The issue of the traditional MIPS liner providing a thin plastic shell with a variety of "slices" or open areas to allow for air flow, which if resting directly against my head, is something that I have found to be problematic. There are a number of ways in which the Bell helmet remedies this. The internal webbing that wraps around the head is connected to the helmet by the pegs. For a better explanation, look at their product materials. The separate, frequently yellow MIPS liners can be a challenge to fit for head shavers. The padding on the helmet is so large that there wouldn't be any contact between the liner and the person's head. It's named "DH" because it exceeds basic bicycle hemet certifications you see with everyday helmets. It can take a harder hit, has a visor for goggles, and protects your face when you need it. I could use thinner cheek pads for the face mask. I switched to the thinner pads that come with the helmet and it still feels snug. If you're listening, Bell, consider a third set of pads for the helmet for those of us with bigger melons, cheek/jaw bones, etc. I'm really enjoying this helmet.
👤The helmet is great. The fit is snug and feels very solid. The Giro Switchblade looks to be a great helmet, but I was between the two. I compared reviews from here, mountain biking forums and Youtube and chose this helmet for a number of reasons. 1. I wanted this helmet as it appears to have more vents which should help with air flow in the summer months. The Bell is a good weight for long rides. A sore neck is the last thing you need while riding. The weight of a mount and Go Pro can add up quickly. 3. The chin bar securing method was better than the switchblade. The chin bar on the Switchblade is not locked and is prone to falling off in a hard crash, which is what multiple riders have reported in forums. Both companies have the same warranty. Both have a crash replacement program. Giro only offers the replacement program in the U.S., while Bell offers it in both the US and Europe. I found that the most popular searches were "Giro Switchblade failure" and "Bell Super DH failure". There are many forums with a lot of knowledge and you will see what I mean with the Giro's chin bar.
The sturdy is built for both comfort and impact resistance. A skateboard helmet with two liners for different head sizes is easy to wash away. Multi-sport - Smooth Venlitation System helps to protect and enjoy. Double adjustment - well-attached and long- lasting adjustment dial and skin-friendly chin strap maxmize the best fit and comfortable wearing. How can I tell if a prophylactic is effective? To find the right size bike helmet, start by measuring your head circumference, wrap a flexible tape measure around the largest portion of your head, and then find the right helmet. Wrap a string around your head and measure the length with a yardstick. If your size is between 21.3-22.8inch, you should be in Size Large.
👤I thought it looked weird on my head, but it turned out to be cracked open like a melon on the street. It's stupid to fly at 30 mph on an electric longboard without a helmet. The fit is excellent and the dial is fine. Even at high speed, it stays where it should. The vent is good. You're not working as hard on an eskate. An important part of my gear is a good value. It is recommended. It was a year later. It's still working well. I wear this helmet when I commute on a 40mph fast ebike. I use a Moon snowboard helmet in the winter. My 13 year old son flies behind me on his own eskate, far too fast! He fought me with his teeth and nail, but he will also be wearing this helmet. I added a crazy fast e- mountain board to my quiver, it makes me want to snowboard it. Next thing, I turned in a little gravel. I know my head snapped right onto the pavement. This helmet saved my life. There were a few scratches on the side of the hardshell. Be smart and wear a helmet.
👤I crashed my skateboard going over 20 mph. My head was covered with several feet. I didn't feel the impact because it protected my head. If it wasn't for this helmet, I would probably have died from my broken arm.
👤I have a large head. This helmet is good for me. I use it with a liner hat in cold weather and take out the padding.
👤I just started skateboarding this week and wanted to make sure I was protected in case. The top choices for helmets were by Triple Eight and the outdoormaster. The comment sections for both helmets didn't help me much. I measured my head with a measuring tape. I would fit right at the end of a Medium and in the middle of a Large according to the information given. I was worried because other comments said the helmet fit snug. You don't want to get headaches if you wear a snug helmet. I need my helmet to move around a bit since I know I'll be working up a sweat in it, I live in Arizona and it gets hot there. I ordered both the Triple Eight and OutdoorMaster helmets. I didn't go with the OutdoorMaster helmets because of their size, comfort, and profile. Below are details on the issues. The Triple Eight helmet has a 57 cm head measurement. Triple Eight helmets are worn by some of the best skaters in the world, and you can see them on Tony Hawk's website. I ordered the Large and Medium helmets to see if they worked. The medium barely. I mean it with seriousness. The take-off was quick and the Large size followed. The dial in the back of the helmet was adjusted to fit my head. The helmet sits on your head and feels off. This helmet made me look like an egg head, because safety isn't always fashionable or cool. It looked and felt like a rock climbing helmet. The inner liners and ticker padding felt like what should have been the basic padding. This wasn't the helmet company for me. If you want something on your head for now or don't plan on using it much, this is a good option because it is cheaper than a Triple Eight helmet. If you can get a Triple Eight helmet, it's a lot more comfortable and it stays close to your head. The top of my skull felt pretty safe, but the sides and back of my head felt a little exposed.
