Brand: Greenworks

👤There is an array of greenworks tools. After 30 minutes, the system overheated and started to melt. One of the batteries started to melt after use. I was scared to use the chainsaw due to this issue. I have had no issues with the lawn mower and tiller for years. After this, may go with another company or gas system. The battery is on the other side of the unit.

👤I used the Saw immediately after I received it, since I also have a 40V mower, and I bought it for the battery and not the saw. Fast forward a couple months into CoVid. I finally have a use for the trimmer, take it out of the box and use it on a small shrub, but it breaks within 2 minutes of use. I've used a lot of trimmers, but never have I seen the blades cross to the point they shave 7mm into eachother. I was frustrated but these things happen. I contacted Greenworks through their website. I get a form email letting me know that my issue has been reported and someone will be in touch but due to Covid their will be some delay. We're all dealing with new work circumstances. I give it a couple weeks, then reach out again to see if I can talk with the rep. Give it another week or two, and ask for an update on the time line. There is still nothing. The pattern continues for 2 months. I haven't heard anything from GreenWorks. This will likely be the last batches of Greenworks products I purchase since they don't seem to stand behind their products.

👤I'm happy. The hedge trimmer and chain saw attachment are just as good as my gas powered tools and the battery lasts far longer than I thought. I've never used more than 50% of the battery, even though I've used the trimmer to trim large hedges and the pruner to clean my yard. The battery can be fully charged in less than an hour. The first couple of tree branches that I cut with the chain saw were very close to the saw and surprised me. My 77 year old arms and shoulders appreciate the fact that the tools are a lot lighter than my gas powered tools.

👤TheHedge trimmer blade is made of a very soft metal alloy and the blade surface got bent. The hedge blade was not able to move. I fixed the blade with a metal file, but am hesitant to use it again, so I used my corded hedge trimmer. There are no instructions on how to attach the lanyard.

👤I did a lot of research before buying this product. It wasn't the most expensive or least expensive pole saw available. This product was attractive to me because of its ability to use a chain saw and hedge trimmer in one tool. The delivery date was not the usual 2 days but over a week and the seller missed that date and came within a whisker of missing the next date. I decided to take it out for a test drive and see if it worked. I attached the hedge trimmer and went out to trim the hedges. The trimmer blades stopped moving after 5 minutes when they didn't cut anything larger than a leaf. I tried many things but had no solution. The trimmer wouldn't work because the lead blade peeled back a small amount of steal in the lower blade just enough for binding to occur. There is a photo of a defect. I will not be testing the pole saw when I return the product. You wonder about the quality of steel used and the workmanship of assembly when a product breaks after 5 minutes. I am not a failure analysis person. The first and second blades had a slight misalignment which caused the defect.

2. Greenworks Cordless String Trimmer STBA24B210

Greenworks Cordless String Trimmer STBA24B210

The polesaw and pole hedge trimmer is maintenance free, with no gas, oil, or emissions. It starts immediately, is quiet, and has the power you need. The design has a 4-position head for easy trimming in hard-to-reach places. Every time, an innovative walk behind edging is used. The fan design has a speed of 100 MPH and a capacity of 300 CFM. Light weight and easy to use. There is a compatible battery and charger for the 24V 2AH battery.

Brand: Greenworks

👤I got this for my wife because my backpack blower is too heavy for her and my hand-held corded blower requires too much extension cord for our long driveway. The extension cord of my corded edger is a lot of trouble. The blower is about 6 pounds with a battery. It is more convenient to do light jobs like blowing off our deck, garage, and light on the driveway. It takes two batteries to blow our driveway, despite the fact that leaves are not very heavy this time of year. In the fall, my backpack blower can only handle a few leaves and light, but it can't handle the piles of leaves that accumulate on our lawn. I don't think it can handle the job if we do it every day. Hopefully I will be able to use the backpack blower after recovering from shoulder surgery. I would have preferred the 80v 500CFM model, but an additional 80v battery alone costs more than this whole system and that blower weighs twice what this one does. Pros -- The trimmer is on a charge. I was able to edge along the driveway and sidewalks before the power went out. The corded edger was more difficult to use than the string trimmer to cut through the grass. Things go faster when the self-ancing string works. Changing between trimming and edging is very easy. My shorter wife and I can use the same pole-handle. The handle on the pole makes it easy to control the trimmer. Any trimming and edging can be done with power. If you don't want the blower, I would get one of these trimmers. There were no cons. The battery that comes with it does not last very long, and the blower can use it for up to 15 minutes on 3-quarters. Some reviewers are saying that they are getting longer times, but I have 3 of these 2AH batteries and they all last about the same time. It was bad enough that I bought it.

👤I have had these products since June 18th. What can I say? Came quickly. Everything was inside the box. They are very easy to put together. The blower and string trimmer are not very heavy. The leaf blower is blowing well. That's the positive list. The battery only lasts for a short time in the blower. The battery took 90 minutes to charge. It takes 3 hours. The string trimmer head and line are not good. They make it difficult to reel in the line reel. Every couple minutes it breaks. You have to open it up and do it all over again if it doesn't advance correctly. I couldn't use it for more than a couple minutes at a time. The reviews for the line refill are not good. The manufacturer glues the line down and no one can find a replacement like the one with the trimmer. What a throbbing head! No one needs to spend money to deal with this frustration. A string trimmer is supposed to be a problem solution. I never had any issues with my previous Black & Decker. I will get the EGO string trimmer with the head that loads itself soon. The EGO mower is an absolute wonder. Poor design Greenworks! I would return it, but it is past the date they allow. Save money. It's not a good deal if you can't use it. Really disappointed. Didn't live up to the promise of the battery and the string trimmer.

3. BLACK DECKER MTC220 12 Inch Cordless

BLACK DECKER MTC220 12 Inch Cordless

There is a collection bag and a mower. 3 tools in 1 can be used to convert from mower to trimmer. Automatic feed system ensures continuous work. The ideal property is 750 square feet. The power drive transmission prevents the vehicle from stalling. The cutting heights are 1.6 and 2.4 inches. The deck trimmer has a pivot handle. 60 percent 2.5 hours. Includes batteries for extended run time.

Brand: Black+decker

👤It is easy to use and lightweight. It's fun to change it from a string trimmer to a mower. The whole unit is lighter than the string trimmer I used to have, and it handles everything I need in my small front and back yards. In tight spots, I can just pick up the whole unit and turn it around. It is easy to hose down the mower dock. I love this thing.

👤I would love to give this 10 stars. There is a fish pond, raised boxes for veggies, and a walkway to the pool in my backyard. This mower makes it easy to take care of this setup. I don't need to change it to get the string out. I can switch from mowing to trimming by stepping on the lever. I bought an extra battery that doubled the use time. It's not a burden with that battery. I use the 2.0 and 4.0 batteries each time I mow, but still have power left when I'm done. I bought an extra because I have a screwdriver that uses the same batteries. You can go over things you couldn't do with a real mower. You don't have to be afraid of blade breaking. This is perfect for a small yard or elderly person who doesn't want to use a gas powered mower. It's an incredible product. There is a photo of my area.

👤I needed a small, lightweight mower that I could transport back and forth to my mom's house, so I bought this unit. I'm happy it came with two battery packs, but I only need one because my job is small. I can use it as a trimmer and edger and it fits my needs. My main concern wasOWER. I only have to mow a small patch of lawn. It's new grass, but it's grown for a long time. The mower did a good job on areas that it trimmed, but rows of grass got pressed flat by the wheels, so the blades did not get cut by the trimmer. I don't think the mower is to blame for that, because I can't see how a mower could reach those blades. As the grass blades stand up better, I will have less problem with that. In the interim, I mowed like I was pushing a vacuum cleaner with one hand and raking the grass with the other. The blades that were cut were even to the ground. The platform can be adjusted but not in the manual. I only knew about it because of a sticker on the platform, but it's not clear how to do that. You have to pull the axle. It comes set on high. I like the default setting. The handle has telescopes. I played around with it and figured out that they don't want short people to use this thing. Pull the handle out instead of releasing it like you want to tilt the head. Changing from mower to edger and back is very easy. It's one of the best things about this combo. The action of the trimmer is excellent. I don't have any complaints. Ditto for the edger. It cuts like a dream when it converts from edger to trimmer. I wouldn't recommend this as a mower for large areas because I have to push like a vacuum cleaner. It would be too inefficient. I have small areas that are fine. If you want something primarily for trimming/edging, I highly recommend this unit.

4. Greenworks Cordless String Trimmer STBA40B210

Greenworks Cordless String Trimmer STBA40B210

The combo kit allows you to keep your walkways and driveway clear of weeds and grass. The power of 12” shredding mower is through the toughest grass and weeds. The auto feed head is for quick and easy line advancement. The leaf barrow has a 390 CFM air flow and a speed of over 120 mph. Control of air flow is provided by a variable speedtrigger with cruise control. Light weight design and superior ergonomics allow for reduced user fatigue. Push button start is easy to use. The battery can be charged in 60 minutes. The leaf blower and string trimmer is maintenance free, with no gas, oil, or emissions. It starts immediately, is quiet, and has the power you need.

Brand: Greenworks

👤The cord wore through the grommets on both sides. How this got past R&D is beyond me. It is almost impossible to find a replacement part for the combo pack. Green Works gave me the part number after I called them. The expense to replace is mine because Green Works considers wear and tear to be normal. The Weed eater is only about 4 months old and this happened on the first spool of cord. I will have to buy a new weed eater because this part is attached to the pool housing. I have never written a review about a product before. I made a mistake buying this.

👤The brand is junk. The blower only runs for 4 seconds and shuts off for 10 seconds, then starts again and runs for 4 seconds, until you want to throw the POS back across the pond to China. The trimmer worked well until the battery refused to cooperate and it only worked for Charing. I contacted greenworks and they said their policy is too much work. I get better results by using the blower for 4 seconds at a time. Good luck to consumers.

👤Assembly was easy. The battery came to a full charge in less than an hour. I don't have to mix gas or deal with the gas trimmer not starting, it's not much lighter than my small gas trimmer. I trimmed everything I trim with my gas trimmer half a charge because of the battery charge indicator. It would have taken 1/3 of a tank of gas to power my gas trimmer. It's not as good as my small grass trimmer when it comes to cutting the heavy stuff along the shore of the lake, where grass is a couple of feet tall. You have to start at the top and work your way down. The cutting power diminished as the battery charge increased. It was fine. This isn't going to work for the entire charge. I think it will work at 1/3 charge. When moving from one area to another, I kept the Trigger depressed. The line seems to be more durable than the stuff I use for my gas trimmer. The advertisement doesn't tell you which replacement you need. I bought a dual line feed at Amazon that said "fits all dual line auto-feed Greenworks trimmers" but it doesn't work with this trimmer. I can't find the one that works with this trimmer on Amazon. The correct part number is 31101724.

👤I put the product in use immediately after receiving it. My learnings are here. My yard is 1/3 of an Acre with a pool, trees and obstacles. This is a deal. The yard is prepared for summer and the power is adequate with a 2.0Ah battery. Light trimming and edging will do my yard. Only for the 2.0Ah battery. The Blower will do a good job for a small area. If the grass is 12 to 15 inch high, the trimmer can handle it. Still good. I have a lot of tools and equipment. I don't know how long it will last. I will update in a year. I recommend combo for normal size of yard. I will be buying a battery for a trimmer. It is easy to clean and maintain. You need to get handle of the auto string feeding. I like it so far.

5. Greenworks 12 Inch Cordless Included 21342

Greenworks 12 Inch Cordless Included 21342

The battery and charger are not sold together. The edging wheel allows for edging and trimming. Electric start eliminates gas hassle, less maintenance and fumes. The path has a single line auto feed for easy line advance. The model 29252 and 29092 are compatible with the 40 inch compatible Greenworks replacement spool. There are compatible battery models 29842 and 29852. The drive shaft type isTelescoping.

Brand: Greenworks

👤I don't know how I didn't notice, but this doesn't auto-feed string well. Most trimmers have a simple option which this unit does not. I assumed all trimmers had auto feed. You have to start/stop the trimming many times to make the string feed. It's pretty annoying and doesn't seem to work. I already had 4A, 24V batteries. I was a little worried at first, but this unit does a great job. The battery lasts 45 minutes or so and I have plenty of time for my small yard. The edges and trims are perfect. This is a great option for smaller yards. I would have had to run through two or three full charges to complete the yardwork. It will take more time if you want to go this route. If you don't want to chop down your flowers or plants, the guard is useful. It is easy to flip to an edger once you are in that mode. Extra string and cover is nice. If you only have one battery, the batteries charge quickly.

👤I will return this thing first. My lawn mower is battery operated. I was looking forward to the features they boasted about. Nothing about the string assembly makes sense. I don't want to spend half my day clicking the power on and off to advance the string. It is a weak, thin string to begin with. It is pointless to trim and edge because it wears down so fast. I gave up halfway through my yard. My old 12V Black and Decker ran circles around this thing. Don't buy it!

👤I gave this string trimmer two stars because it is strong. The loose lower handle can't tighten further but constantly falls off, and it takes a lot of pressure to keep the handle depressed, so I knocked it off for three stars. I don't recommend this trimmer.

👤I bought this item for my husband to replace our gas weed eater/trimmer when we replaced our gas powered lawn mower after the repair would cost more than a new mower. The weed eater has not let us down. I am very happy with this purchase. The weed eater has a rechargeable battery that doesn't make it uncomfortable to hold, and it's a battery-operated weed eater. If you already have a weed eater, I wouldn't recommend it. I would have preferred to get the slightly larger one so that the battery was interchangeable with our lawn mower, but this one is a different battery and charger. GreenWorks offers several smaller items like the drill, and this battery fits them. We haven't had to replace the weed eater yet, but we've been using it weekly since mid April and haven't had to replace it yet. There is a guide for the string and a guard on the weed eater that you can use to edge without hitting flowers. The weed eater is light enough to be used for a short period of time, and the battery lasts for about 45 minutes. The low end is when we use it in larger patches of weeds. The weed eater we replaced was heavy and expensive. GreenWorks is a good quality built product, and it wasn't nearly as expensive as we thought. I'm a lifelong customer and I'm impressed.

6. PowerSmart PS76115A Lithium Ion Cordless Batteries

PowerSmart PS76115A Lithium Ion Cordless Batteries

This product is in line with customer requirements. Only one hour charged can meet your working requirements. The edger is easy to convert from trimmer to edger in seconds. The string trimmer has a cutting diameter of 10 inches and a line diameter of 0.065 inch. The blower has a rotating speed of 180kwh and a no-load speed of 13500rpm. It's suitable for clean leaves, dust, garage, porch, driveway, terrace and other areas. It can be used to blow Lesser Snow.

Brand: Powersmart

👤It's light and does a good job. It's not as strong as my gas powered one, but it's great on grass and weeds. It doesn't sling dirt and grass as much because it's a little weaker. It's what I wanted. The batteries charge up quickly. In the past, I've burned out electric weed eaters because I'd run them too long, so there's an advantage in having battery powered ones, the motor and I both get a rest when the batteries run out of power. I thought I'd be less pleased with it.

👤The weed whip took down some tall weeds. I was able to weed whip some tall grass and I am 20 weeks pregnant. It definitely gave me the shakes for about 2 hours after I finished. I had a great laugh when I told him how it went.

👤I used the weed trimmer all summer. My expectations went down the tubes. This was bought in May. I smell something burning in August. The head is smoking. The leaf bower has a cheap table fan. I am done. The review was original. The weed trimmer works well. A portable without a gas engine. The leaf blower doesn't discharge the battery until it's time to call it quits. When the battery charge replenishes the batteries in minutes, I found that out. In short. The thumbs up and thumbs down are for the trimmer and blower.

👤I don't like this purchase. The set was black anddecker. The unit is short and difficult to handle. I am a woman, only 5 foot 4 and it is too short. The blower and trimmer are heavier than they need to be. Not user friendly. The battery life is not great. I used to be able to edge my whole yard with the same battery, but now it's half that capacity. I didn't buy the B and D again.

👤I used the blower to purchase this. I was not happy with the trimmer. The instructions are worthless. Most of it is not hard, but the metal guard. I didn't use it. It doesn't seem that long. I'm 5'11 and I found myself bending over. The quality is low. It seemed to cut ok when I used it. My back was killing me after 30 minutes. The instructions seem to be useless for most of these things. I regret buying this. I wish I had paid more.

👤The product was great. I can't find a replacement. I ordered the combination blower and weed eater and it had a replacement pack in the picture. The replacement caulks do not fit the Weedeater very well. If the picture shows the combo package plus the replacement spools, it would fit together. The weed eater is not listed on the POWERSMART web site. If you can only use it for a short time, it's not a good product.

👤I liked the combo and thought it would be a great purchase. The blower works. Powerful enough to do the job. The battery lasts okay, but I wish it would last longer. Simple quits when it runs out. I'm very disappointed in the trimmer. It worked great when it did, but the string would cut off and I had to open it to get more out. Work for 2 seconds and stop. I bought replacements after I thought I had a bad spool. It worked for about 30 minutes and then boom, cut off. I'm going to throw this thing away. It's so frustrating. Can't finish the job. The three stars were due to the trimmer. The blower could get a five star rating.

7. Centurion Garden Outdoor Living 1222

Centurion Garden Outdoor Living 1222

The garden kneeler and seat also comes with a tool pouch and a pair of gardening gloves for free, and a 100% risk-free satisfaction guarantee. You get a 100% risk-free satisfaction guarantee. Made to Last is manufactured with carbon steel blades that are strong and durable. ERGONOMIC - lightweight aluminum trimmer handle is easy to use. Clean and sheer cut from tiny stem to brute limb with every tool at once, all matching one another. The convenient grip features a non-slip foam hand grip handle that reduces strain on wrists and arms.

Brand: Centurion

👤Couldn't wait for the set to arrive since I lost my other trimming tools. Two hours of lopping tree branches and the blades on the loppers are already dull. Wouldn't cut through a half inch limb. It's unbelievable and a waste. It's too much of a hassle to send them back. Save your hard-earned money. We had to buy a new pair of loppers at ACE Hardware to finish the neighbor's tree trimming job because the old ones kept cutting through the limbs like butter.

👤I have some brush, trees, and bushes to cut. I love the fact that I could get all the tools I needed in one shot, and I use 2 of them on a weekly basis. I can't claim to be a professional. I like these tools because they get what I need done. It's a good thing.

👤It's difficult to make a clean cut with one swipe. I don't recommend it for ladies or seniors.

👤Good value, but poor quality. The ground edges are poor. After little use, the edges folded and crinkled. Look at the pictures! The small pruner was quickly useless. Poor grinding and alignment resulted in major clefts for Lopper.

👤The long handle pair broke off in my hand as I used them to clear brush on our property. It's a pity.

👤The handle on the smallest clippers snapped. I am not very strong.

👤The product was on time. I used a hedge clipper. They chewed up my hedges when they used them again today. Don't buy them, they are cheap.

👤These are inexpensive trimmers. Handle failures or dulling issues have not been experienced by my set.

8. BLACK DECKER Trimmer Sweeper LCC222

BLACK DECKER Trimmer Sweeper LCC222

The blower is only 4.4 lbs with the battery attached, and the trimmer is only 5.3 lbs. Both are light enough to operate. The 2in1 design allows you to use a string trimmer and an edger at the same time. AJUSTABLE HEIGHT AND SOFT-GRIP HANDLE. Control and comfort for extended use. Automatic feeding of trimmer line without bumping for seamless trimming. The sweeper is ideal for clearing grass clippings, leaves, and other debris. Quiet operation. It keeps noise to a minimum. The string trimmer/edger and sweeper are light. The power connect batteries ensure a consistent charge.

Brand: Black+decker

👤I wondered if I'd make a wise purchase after reading the initial reviews. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. My husband was skeptical when he first took the tools out of the box because they were much lighter. His first comment was "are these toys?" The leaf-blower is weak according to some of the reviews. If you intend to use it as a professional landscaping tool or if you have a lot of trees that drop mounds of Autumn leaves, it would not be a good choice. It's perfect for cleaning up after mowing and trimming. Our driveway is wide behind our house, and we have a large porch. The blower cleans them quickly and perfectly, not a grass clipping, a chunk of dry dirt, or small stone in sight. The blower is perfect for the tree that drops small leaves. A person needs a trimmer to keep fence-lines neat and pretty, and to edge the sidewalk and garage. My husband loves these because they are much quieter and have a better battery life. We had four batteries that had to be changed in our small yard. He can do it quickly with one battery. He likes the trimmer so much that he edges the sidewalks of the two houses to our left and right. The neighbors love him. Overall, we are very, very glad we chose this set, it was a good price, easy to use, and quiet... What more could a person want?

👤The unit was covered in grass clippings when we opened it. It was probably returned after being used. There was a request for a replacement.

👤The edger does a good job and I don't see any problems with grass, weeds, or anything else. Some of the reviews say it can't handle the load. It's true! If you are looking for something that is light-weight, easy to work with, and electric, then this edger is a good choice. It's pretty much what we got. The blower can't handle wet grass. Unless you are blowing very dry, the blower consumes a lot of power. It works well in that case.

👤I am a 50 year old female and this product is easy to use. The battery only lasts 30 minutes in my yard, so I'm glad I got the 2 battery option. It takes hours to charge.

👤I own a Honda 4-stroke string trimmer that can cut a farm field and a corded blower that can clear leaves from a large lawn. Why did I purchase these? The cord is a pain, the Honda is heavy and a pain, and sometimes my wife wants to just touch up my grass cutting along the side of the house and the trees. She preferred the battery-powered Black and Decker that died. She will only use the Honda if I start it. We spent an entire $88 to buy this string trimmer and "sweeper", they won't call it a blower, for good reason. It's $88 for two tools. Light trimming along the house walls and sidewalks can be accomplished with the string trimmer. It has an edger-bracket that pops out. I wouldn't call it a strong edger. The line feed is automatic. No bumping. It works. It comes with two battery packs. Each person will run the trimmer for a while. I haven't tested the battery life of thesweeper yet. The "sweeper" does a great job of clearing the patio and sidewalk. The "sweeper" is quieter than the corded blower. It only has one string and the speed is not very high. This is not the tool for clearing thick weeds or brush, or cutting a patch of grass on a hill. The sweeper is not a leaf blower. Not even close. The tool set is outstanding for light-duty jobs. I am going to use it on my own after most grass cutting jobs. I will use the Honda or corded blower for tougher jobs. You don't really expect a package of string trimming and leaf-blowing to cost $88?

9. BLACK DECKER LCC340C Lithium Trimmer

BLACK DECKER LCC340C Lithium Trimmer

70 Lumens can be used for up to 11 hours. The LST140 is a 40 watt max string trimmer/edger. Automatic Feed Spool feeds the trimmer line. The wind speed of the sweeper is up to 130 mph. Quiet operation with low noise design. Up to 130MPH. The state of charge indicator is on both units. Products are compatible with their system.

Brand: Black+decker

👤I thought the 40v would have more power than the 20v batteries I already have, but I was debating with the other person. It is power wise. I guess. I got this one when it was $125 for the 40v and $75 for the 20v combo. I am not sure if the extra $50 is worth it. I got my entire yard done on the initial charge. I have a yard that is 500 feet wide and has a driveway and sidewalk. Both are light. It was easy to use. The rotating head on the weedeater can lock in at any angle you need.

👤This has been one of my favorite purchases. I was pretty confident that the tools would perform well since they use the same battery, and I already own a Black & Decker lawn mower that uses the same 40 volt battery. I have not been disappointed. If they were only average, this multipack is an incredible value for 2 power tools, a battery, and a charging stand. They perform very well. They are lightweight but not cheap. I was more than satisfied with the power of the trimmer and edger. I found the switch cut through tall grass and weeds and was easy to see along my sidewalks and curb. I like not being tied to a power cord. I have a small yard. I was able to trim along the foundation of the house, along the driveway, all sidewalks and curb, and still have half the charge on the battery. Even though I have had back problems and have arthritis, I was happy that the trimmer is easy to use, not heavy and easy to hold at the proper angle. Attaching the shield and handle after unpacking was easy. A reel of trimmer line is included with the purchase. I can clean up debris and clippings from the curb, driveway, and sidewalks again if I switch the battery pack to the blower. The shape of the blower makes it easy to clean up clippings and debris from hard surfaces. It is a great time saver compared to sweeping with a broom. It's not a heavy duty blower, but it's perfect for sweeping up the leaves around your yard. I get at least 20 minutes of steady use. The time it takes to charge is less than an hour. I usually leave the battery on the charger for a while to give it a good charge. I am able to mow my entire yard and use the blower at the same time because my lawn mower has two 40 watt batteries. I like that Black and Decker has an entire line of outdoor tools that use the same battery, and will probably buy more. It is possible to trim an entire yard in one afternoon even if you have lunch and a nap.

👤This set is stout. The battery works great for my.500 acres, it holds up well and has plenty of power to blow whatever I want. I'm happy with the purchase, especially the weedwhacker, no more fighting gas-powered junk that takes more work than it is worth.

10. Makita XRU15PT1 Lithium Ion Brushless Batteries

Makita XRU15PT1 Lithium Ion Brushless Batteries

The state of charge indicator is on both units. Products are compatible with their system. The Outer Rotor BL Brushless Motor direct-drive system has high power and increased Torque. Automatic Torque Drive Technology mode shifts from 3,500-6,500 RPM for extended run time or added power. There are 3 speed options for power management. The swath is for increased productivity. Includes a trimmer head loaded with a quiet line.

Brand: Makita

👤If you have used a string trimmer before. You would be hard pressed to find better. I love my Makita tools, including the drill, impact driver, and reciprocal saw. I am a 65 year old great grandmother. The trimmer is easy to use. Push a button and quietly trim it. The motor is on the end of the trimmer. The tap and go trimmer mechanism is on the other side of the trimmer. I have been using a gas powered dolmar trimmer for a decade. The trim head uses a single strand of string. The recommendation is.08 to.09 string. The string that came with the trimmer was like trying to trim grass with pasta. The string pops out when it gets low. The length of string that is not usable is the same length as it is required to do my 2 acre lot. I believe I read that Makita bought out Dolmar. If that is true, Makita probably owns the rights to the trimmer head. The one strand trimmer head would be a better option than the tap and go. I love the trimmer. The tap and the trimmer head are things that I don't like.

👤I will write a detailed review over the next couple of months as I use it more. It's easy to assemble and sturdy construction, with batteries it's not as heavy as expected, balanced and easy to use in tighter places. The glasses are not sharp. Give me something to look cool and not a cheap plastic pair for 350. There are stickers on the outside of the box. The item was not in my box. Nothing missing. The price is steep. It ran for 45 minutes on the 5.0 battery. I would try the 6.0 battery. I think they would get the job done in one place. This one is easier to use than the gas version I owned. No more mixing or storing fuel. You won't wake the neighbor on a Saturday morning because of the low noise.

👤I watched a lot of videos comparing weed trimmers. I already own a chainsaw. It is great. I decided to get a Makita trimmer after watching a few videos and seeing it came with 4 batteries. I have used it for several days and it has enough power to cut weeds. The lowest speed works well for most trimming. I used the highest speed for the thick stuff. The battery life is good. I trimmed for over an hour and a half using a variety of power levels. Any job can be done with two extra batteries. I enjoy picking it up and turning it on. There was no gas, rope pulling or noise. The noise from the trimmer cord is very quiet. Four batteries, long run time, plenty of power, and low noise make this a winner for me.

👤There are great features, automatic, reverse, 3 speeds and balanced. I'll update this review in a few months, it's early in my ownership. It works so far. I did a yard clean up to see how it works. Well balanced. The automatic feature lets the trimmer decide which speed is needed. As demand increases, the speed increases to match the load. It feels comfortable to use. It was a great deal with the batteries and double quick charge. I can use the batteries with my tools. It's very convenient to not have a special battery or charging station. This is my favorite weed wacker I have ever had. I will not buy a gas weed wacker again. I also got a 36 Volt blower.

11. BLACK DECKER BV6000 Performance Mulcher

BLACK DECKER BV6000 Performance Mulcher

The 20V PowerShare platform allows you to share battery across multiple tools. The heavy duty electric barrow and mulcher is used. The high-powered corded blower and mulcher can blow through leaves and debris at speeds up to 250 mph. The yard is kept neat and tidy with the help of 3 tools. There is no scattering of the leaves. The disposable bag system is easy to clean. Up to 16 bags of mulch can be grinded. It's ideal for clearing driveway, sidewalks, decks, garage, and lawns of leaves and grass clippings.

Brand: Black+decker

👤I have a small yard, but my neighbors have a huge live oak tree. The vacuum was delivered as promised. It does a great job with leaves, but does not like twigs, which will cause the vacuum tube to get stuck. If you use it with wet leaves, you will need to remove the vacuum tube and clean out the blower assembly frequently, as the wet leaves will fill up the housing and stop the suction. I used a large screwdriver to clean this mess. Before messing with the fan blade, it is advisable to remove the power cord. It takes some practice to get used to this vacuum. The vacuum can determine the pace. If you try to vacuum too fast, the vacuum tube will get stuck. I was impressed with the ease of removing the leaves, and the fact that it reduced my usual 10 bags of leaves to 5. I would recommend it.

👤This is the largest piece of shit I have ever received. The assembly instructions are a joke, because parts are labeled with numbers, but the numbers are never referenced again in the directions and the pictures are vague to say the least. I was still excited to use the product. I took it outside. The pile of leaves was so large it barely sucked up one leaf. I removed the attachment to clean it out. Maybe I should try to move slower. I could take my leaves quicker. The disposable bag that came with it ripped off the carrying strap mid-use. Don't waste your time or money. Positive reviews are not a guarantee.

👤At fall leaf removal time, my shredder blew a hole in its side. I bought this one after a lot of research and it was well rewarded for my choice. It is balanced, but not light. I barely used the strap because the bag is well supported. This shreds leaves so that they fit in 16 leaf bags. I don't have a big yard, but it was efficient. The leaves and yard debris being shot through the wand and being ground by the shredder are loud. The bag is easy to open, and the bag can be emptied into a monster yard waste bag, which was much easier than my prior shredder. I don't plan to try the re-usable bags. I used each of the fan speeds for mulch, so I don't use the blower much. For its first use, this did everything I needed. I will update this in a couple of years to see if it holds up.

👤I feel like Tim Taylor has this thing. It is easy to use. I am not getting any younger and my children are moving away. Who is going to leave? This product is given to me. It is a great machine and a 5 star. B&D is always a good choice for you.

👤I moved into a house with trees. I had a lot of leaves on my lawn. It took two weekends to get them into 30 bags. I had great success using the Blower/Mulcher for the first time this year. I was able to blow my entire front yard into the ground. The vacuum mulcher only took a minute or two. I vacuumed up all the leaves quickly. I put the bag in the vacuum and then put it in the lawn bag. If I had raked it, I would have had 4 or 5 lawn bags. This product is very good.
