Customer service is important. 24-Month is committed to building tools that are reliable for a long time. Their commitment to quality is reflected in their warranties. Any questions will be answered within 24 hours. The electric trimmer/edger has a powerful 5 Amp motor. Extra-wide 14-inch dual-line cutting head gets the job done faster. One-step walk-behind edging--switch from a trimmer to an edger. Extending reach is provided by the telescopic shaft and assist handle. Measures approximately 11 by 14 by 48 inches.
👤I have to fix the string again and again, because it will not stay out, and I have to remove the string holder and fix the rat nest of string.
👤I bought this item because of the good reviews here. The unit seems sturdy and has good construction. The lack of a tap-to-advance string feature is a major fault. Every time thetrigger is released, it advances the line automatically. If you're trimming in a high wear situation, like edging the drive, you find yourself constantly pausing to "gun" thetrigger in order to advance the line, instead of being able to simplybump the head and continue trimming. It cuts my trimming speed in half while I am constantly stop and goosing thetrigger to feed enough line back out to resume trimming. The auto feed feature feeds out line every time you release the gun, which can result in the string being too long, so it beats itself against the guard until the ends are cut off. It was very annoying. I prefer tap-to-advance string advance.
👤I like to read a lot of comments before I buy something, but I got to the conclusion that they were right about the stream, and that was a pain in the butt. It's stupid to keep it working when toro can do better, it was trashed after 2 uses, I destroyed it, don't f...
👤Home Depot was out of stock when I received my TORO 51490 Hedge Trimmer. I found that it shreds cut, but another pass smoothed out the hedge and it went fine. I think the thumb sized U shaped catch blade is the reason for this, it allows the twigs to move during the cut process, whereas my old trimmer had V shaped slots which seemed to grab and hold during the cut. The old blade was only 16 inches, but the new blade is 22 inches. It had enough power to cut through the stems. The hedge is close to me. It will give you a workout through the shoulders and back, and I'm a senior. I would have preferred a clear shield. I could see what was happening better, but it wasn't a big deal. I miss the lock on option of my old trimmer as I experience fatigue with constant pressure to the handle. I get the safety feature. I found it easy to register at the TORO site, even though I feel the warranty should be included in packaging. I would recommend this trimmer for a fine corded tool, as I am pleased with it. We will see how long it lasts.
👤It seemed like it would work out for me. It's too heavy for me to use with the wheel. I tried to cut tall grass next to our brick wall, but I used my clippers. The lines broke on the 3rd time I used the trimmer. I can't remove the spool to check for more line or replace it. I threw the box it came in. It's a complete waste of money for me. It would do better with someone with more strength. I was disappointed that I chose the wrong one. It's a great brand.
The combo kit allows you to keep your walkways and driveway clear of weeds and grass. The power of 12” shredding mower is through the toughest grass and weeds. The auto feed head is for quick and easy line advancement. The leaf barrow has a 390 CFM air flow and a speed of over 120 mph. Control of air flow is provided by a variable speedtrigger with cruise control. Light weight design and superior ergonomics allow for reduced user fatigue. Push button start is easy to use. The battery can be charged in 60 minutes. The leaf blower and string trimmer is maintenance free, with no gas, oil, or emissions. It starts immediately, is quiet, and has the power you need.
👤The cord wore through the grommets on both sides. How this got past R&D is beyond me. It is almost impossible to find a replacement part for the combo pack. Green Works gave me the part number after I called them. The expense to replace is mine because Green Works considers wear and tear to be normal. The Weed eater is only about 4 months old and this happened on the first spool of cord. I will have to buy a new weed eater because this part is attached to the pool housing. I have never written a review about a product before. I made a mistake buying this.
👤The brand is junk. The blower only runs for 4 seconds and shuts off for 10 seconds, then starts again and runs for 4 seconds, until you want to throw the POS back across the pond to China. The trimmer worked well until the battery refused to cooperate and it only worked for Charing. I contacted greenworks and they said their policy is too much work. I get better results by using the blower for 4 seconds at a time. Good luck to consumers.
👤Assembly was easy. The battery came to a full charge in less than an hour. I don't have to mix gas or deal with the gas trimmer not starting, it's not much lighter than my small gas trimmer. I trimmed everything I trim with my gas trimmer half a charge because of the battery charge indicator. It would have taken 1/3 of a tank of gas to power my gas trimmer. It's not as good as my small grass trimmer when it comes to cutting the heavy stuff along the shore of the lake, where grass is a couple of feet tall. You have to start at the top and work your way down. The cutting power diminished as the battery charge increased. It was fine. This isn't going to work for the entire charge. I think it will work at 1/3 charge. When moving from one area to another, I kept the Trigger depressed. The line seems to be more durable than the stuff I use for my gas trimmer. The advertisement doesn't tell you which replacement you need. I bought a dual line feed at Amazon that said "fits all dual line auto-feed Greenworks trimmers" but it doesn't work with this trimmer. I can't find the one that works with this trimmer on Amazon. The correct part number is 31101724.
👤I put the product in use immediately after receiving it. My learnings are here. My yard is 1/3 of an Acre with a pool, trees and obstacles. This is a deal. The yard is prepared for summer and the power is adequate with a 2.0Ah battery. Light trimming and edging will do my yard. Only for the 2.0Ah battery. The Blower will do a good job for a small area. If the grass is 12 to 15 inch high, the trimmer can handle it. Still good. I have a lot of tools and equipment. I don't know how long it will last. I will update in a year. I recommend combo for normal size of yard. I will be buying a battery for a trimmer. It is easy to clean and maintain. You need to get handle of the auto string feeding. I like it so far.
The battery and charger are not sold together. The edging wheel allows for edging and trimming. Electric start eliminates gas hassle, less maintenance and fumes. The path has a single line auto feed for easy line advance. The model 29252 and 29092 are compatible with the 40 inch compatible Greenworks replacement spool. There are compatible battery models 29842 and 29852. The drive shaft type isTelescoping.
👤I don't know how I didn't notice, but this doesn't auto-feed string well. Most trimmers have a simple option which this unit does not. I assumed all trimmers had auto feed. You have to start/stop the trimming many times to make the string feed. It's pretty annoying and doesn't seem to work. I already had 4A, 24V batteries. I was a little worried at first, but this unit does a great job. The battery lasts 45 minutes or so and I have plenty of time for my small yard. The edges and trims are perfect. This is a great option for smaller yards. I would have had to run through two or three full charges to complete the yardwork. It will take more time if you want to go this route. If you don't want to chop down your flowers or plants, the guard is useful. It is easy to flip to an edger once you are in that mode. Extra string and cover is nice. If you only have one battery, the batteries charge quickly.
👤I will return this thing first. My lawn mower is battery operated. I was looking forward to the features they boasted about. Nothing about the string assembly makes sense. I don't want to spend half my day clicking the power on and off to advance the string. It is a weak, thin string to begin with. It is pointless to trim and edge because it wears down so fast. I gave up halfway through my yard. My old 12V Black and Decker ran circles around this thing. Don't buy it!
👤I gave this string trimmer two stars because it is strong. The loose lower handle can't tighten further but constantly falls off, and it takes a lot of pressure to keep the handle depressed, so I knocked it off for three stars. I don't recommend this trimmer.
👤I bought this item for my husband to replace our gas weed eater/trimmer when we replaced our gas powered lawn mower after the repair would cost more than a new mower. The weed eater has not let us down. I am very happy with this purchase. The weed eater has a rechargeable battery that doesn't make it uncomfortable to hold, and it's a battery-operated weed eater. If you already have a weed eater, I wouldn't recommend it. I would have preferred to get the slightly larger one so that the battery was interchangeable with our lawn mower, but this one is a different battery and charger. GreenWorks offers several smaller items like the drill, and this battery fits them. We haven't had to replace the weed eater yet, but we've been using it weekly since mid April and haven't had to replace it yet. There is a guide for the string and a guard on the weed eater that you can use to edge without hitting flowers. The weed eater is light enough to be used for a short period of time, and the battery lasts for about 45 minutes. The low end is when we use it in larger patches of weeds. The weed eater we replaced was heavy and expensive. GreenWorks is a good quality built product, and it wasn't nearly as expensive as we thought. I'm a lifelong customer and I'm impressed.
GreenWorks model 29082 is compatible with the replacement spool. The easy feed allows you to advance your line with a push of a button. The Power Drive transmission and 6.5 Amp motor give the best performance when trimming through the toughest weeds, grass, and overgrowth. 2in1 Trim or Edge with wheeled edge guide can be used to convert from trimmer to edger. The lightweight design with height positions provides maximum comfort and control. Accidental cord disconnection is prevented by the cord retention system.
👤The cheap handle ruins a fine electric trimmer. The sting feed system is nice, but the handle is dangerous. The handle is made of flimsy plastic and will jump out of place. The first time I was not expecting it, it slipped out of its lock and dropped down on the lawn. The only way to make it work is to have the handle in the far back position and hold the trimmer at a very awkward angle that is tiring to hold for any length of time. The handle might slip up if you are careless. If they didn't cheap out on the handle, this would be a great corded trimmer.
👤The forward handle is held in place by a spring that is compressed. The natural frequencies of the spring and the spring trimmer are the same. Even though the handle is secure at rest, it will collapse at random times as the spring bounces around. You may have to drill a hole in your lawn. As long as the aliens are small, we know where the alien crop circles have been coming from. The spring isn't working its way out and so checking the trimmer occasionally to make sure the handle is secure is not beneficial. I missed the return window and would have returned it to Amazon. Rats. It may be difficult to remove the guard once it's in place. I don't know what I'm going to do with this. Reviewers mentioned this problem. I would not have bought it if I had known the severity of the problem. The handle and spring are not flimsy, but that they connect with the rotation of the trimmer. It would be easy to double the spring's rigidity, and it wouldn't take much force to make it compress. Please get to it, Black and Decker. If people can disassemble it, you'll get a lot of returns, so you shouldn't stock it until a fix is in place. I have not tried to disassemble it.
👤The center of the string reel is built out so it can't handle a lot of string, which is why it is out of string. I put more in and was on my way but it ran out quickly. I bought some extra reels and wound them up. It does a good job at cutting weeds. Didn't run into the handle, but could see how it would happen. I am happy with the size of my yard and the price. If you have a large yard, this may not be the one for you. It works in smaller yards.
👤It didn't work better than a cheap $25 one, and it only took 10 minutes to use it on a small amount of grass. I was so disappointed that I spent half a day's pay on something that didn't last a day. I had to pull it out each time I needed more line, and I had to take it apart several times to be able to use it more quickly.
Accidental cord disconnection is prevented by the cord retention system. Text Sun Joe to ask questions. The 4-amp motor is powerful. The maximum cutting size is 13 inches. It's ERGONOMIC. The handle adjusts for comfort. The flower guard protects against accidental contact. The full 2-year warranty was approved by the ETL.
👤The product worked great. I ordered replacement spools from Amazon. The only place I could find them was in the negative reviews, so I ordered them. Did the string melt? A pocket knife can fix anything. Is it possible that it fed easily? Like other spool reviews. I read the instructions and took the old spool off and put the new one on. Between melting and not feeding, it got to the point where I had to manually unwound the string from the spool. I can usually figure it out. Not this time. I decided to take a swing at reenacting a scene from the movie Office Space because I knew there was no way I was going to continue owning this POS product. It helped to get the weed eater into a form factor that would fit in my garbage can. This is a waste of money. You should skip this weed eater. Before you buy a weed eater, check out the reviews for the spools. I would have liked to have.
👤Every year I buy a new trimmer. There is something wrong with them. They cut the line. gas trimmers are hard to start. I have gotten rid of them all. We can't get our riding mower in our small fenced backyard because the grass is too tall, and our small push mower isn't up to the task. The reviews were good, and it was cheap, so I ordered it. It's the best trimmer I've ever used. My adult son has difficulty using equipment. He handled it well. The string didn't tangle, and it cut down the tall grass so we could have the yard sprayed. It's easy to use because of the rotating shaft. The only problem we had was that the extension cord kept falling out, but I think it was because we were using a cord that was too wide for the opening. The company made it easy to register the product. I ordered a six pack of replacement string because our local Home Depot carries the trimmer, but not the replacement pack. I will probably not use six of them in the next three years, but it's a small price to pay for the ease of use. I will recommend this product to my friends and family.
👤March 2019. Who knows what kind of volunteers are in the yard with weeds and stalks. The first trim weeds were high. Within 30 minutes, the trim was finished. 2 weeks later, the weeds grow 4". It took less than 10 minutes. The auto feed works well, the grip is easy to use, and the extension cord does not fit in the upper grip handle slot. Plug in after knotting the cord around the grip. It's not a big deal. After a few minutes, it gets heavy. The belts were tied together to form a loop. One end of the hook is attached to a slide handle. It works well to balance trimmer.
👤If you only use it on a regular base and don't want to run a company with it, then this is a steal.
7600rpm no-load speed, 12” cutting diameter, 5.3 lbs. The cutting line length is 0.065” and the machine weight is 10. The Amp hour is 1.5 ampere hour. The power drive transmission has increased Torque. There are two speed control for more power. The line diameter is 0.065 inches. The easy feed allows you to advance your line with a push of a button. Part of the 20V Max system. For your style, power. The power command family of tools helps solve common user problems when using outdoor power equipment. The components include: LSTE520 20V max easy feed trimmer, LBXR20 20V max batteries, LCS1620 Charger, Guard, and Spool.
👤Solid 5-stars on this one. The weed whacker is the best I have ever owned. The battery/ies are required. It's got a lot of plastic pieces, but they aren't too flimsy or breakable. Life and battery power are excellent. I have a small yard with a fence around it and one battery that takes care of it all. If you choose that option, the second battery will be on the charge in case it runs out. The batteries do exactly what they sound like. At the expense of cutting power, power mode gives you more cutting power and battery life gives you longer cutting time. The majority of my weed whacking needs are taken care of using the battery life mode. If you need more oomph, you can easily switch between the two modes. The battery runs for about 30 minutes on the power saving mode. You can always upgrade to a higher capacity Black+Decker universal battery if you need more power or run time. There are pre-loaded heads that click into place for the string/cut wire. There are ways to string it yourself, from what I've read. I'm using the first pre-loaded cartridge that came with the product and I'll stick with the pre-wounds. You can get a three-pack of replacements on Amazon for $9. The product description doesn't say that the unit has an auto-feed feature, but the button on the handle does work, and the unit seems to be auto-feeding itself most of the time. I've never had to tell them to let out more line. It's been convenient and thus far hasn't been a problem. The unit can be extended to make it taller. You just twist the lock, shorten or lengthen as you need, and then twist it back into place. Very easy and quick. You need to hold the handle down with your thumb before you can fire the gun. It's easy to use and it's located very conveniently. There is a The handle is the only complaint I have with this unit. It works just fine, but it has "lock" points that sometimes come loose. Sometimes, if you've been using it for a while, it will vibrate out of the lock and slip to the next lock. It takes about 2 seconds to set it right again, so it's not a deal breaker.
👤I was pleasantly surprised by this weed whacker. Despite all the positive reviews, I just couldn't shake the idea that a battery-powered tool like this would run out of batteries quickly. Positive reviews are correct, I am very happy about it. This is very powerful and was able to deal with thick weeds, tall grass, and delicate grass. The edging went very quickly. We already own a gas-powered trimmer, but it took all my strength to hold it. I didn't have any muscles left to aim it. This is light and quiet. I'm happy that I can trim around the garden and walkways when I need to, instead of nagging my husband. I recommend the set with 2 batteries. They last about 15-20 minutes for me before it starts slowing down. Having 2 saves it from being frustrating. The manual explicitly states that you can leave the battery on the charger and not worry about it draining, and that you can charge it frequently. It's more convenient. Two thumbs up!
Measures approximately 11 by 14 by 48 inches. The design is lightweight and easy to use. The 15 inch cut path has a head that allows for edging and trimming. No gas hassle with the dual line auto feed. It's ideal for small to medium size yards. GreenWorks model 29082 is compatible with the replacement spool.
👤I did research and read the reviews. It has a lot of positives and it seems to focus on the line. I thought it can't be that bad. I was wrong. I love the shield with the wheels. It's important to go straight along the edge. The line was a cons. When I have to turn it upside down and figure out how to get more line, I should have known that cutting wouldn't work for 3 minutes. All of the line that I just got out broke off two minutes later. You have a mess when you take the bottom plate off because the line comes unwound. I try not to say bad things, but I couldn't return it quickly. It works better if you replace the line with Dewalt sting. It's not a huge investment because it's not that expensive. I don't think having a tool that can do its job properly outweighs those things. If they had provided a better cutting line instead of the dental floss that came with it, I and a lot of other people who posted negative reviews would be singing a different story.
👤This is a good tool. It cuts well and I like the feature that allows you to get a clean line at the edge of your lawn. One major complaint. The plastic twine will be automatically released periodically. This is a nice feature since it is supposed to detect when the twine is short and long, as it naturally gets cut due to hitting rocks. It releases twine unnecessarily every few minutes. When it is too long, the excess gets cut off by the spinner. At the end of the season, I can find dozens of one inch lengths of twine all over my garden from this thing. This means that you can use up all of their proprietary twine very quickly. 3 years ago, I bought the trimmer and have gone through 10 spools of twine. I think it is designed to sell twine like Gillette's razor business model. I bought the product for $54. I've spent $68.65 on twine for this thing, and I'm still going strong. The trimmer is now selling for $41.65. The Greenworks train is a great way to get customers hooked forever. It's a dirty trick.
👤This is a machine. Finding the right string was the most important thing for me because I am new at yard work. I read reviews on the string needed for this trimmer after I used up the included spools. Lots of people writing reviews are focused on the string diameter. I listened to those crazies for most of the time. I bought a roll of rino-tuff string. I stopped doing yard work in 2020 because the rino-tuff broke so much. The sting must have gotten worse from 2019. It's really bad. I bought the ugly line from Shakespeare for kicks. I would have to drill out if it didn't fit. I stepped outside the box. It is pretty durable. I only had to advance the string a tiny bit because my yard is 135 ft wide. I love that line.
The blower is only 4.4 lbs with the battery attached, and the trimmer is only 5.3 lbs. Both are light enough to operate. The 2in1 design allows you to use a string trimmer and an edger at the same time. AJUSTABLE HEIGHT AND SOFT-GRIP HANDLE. Control and comfort for extended use. Automatic feeding of trimmer line without bumping for seamless trimming. The sweeper is ideal for clearing grass clippings, leaves, and other debris. Quiet operation. It keeps noise to a minimum. The string trimmer/edger and sweeper are light. The power connect batteries ensure a consistent charge.
👤I wondered if I'd make a wise purchase after reading the initial reviews. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. My husband was skeptical when he first took the tools out of the box because they were much lighter. His first comment was "are these toys?" The leaf-blower is weak according to some of the reviews. If you intend to use it as a professional landscaping tool or if you have a lot of trees that drop mounds of Autumn leaves, it would not be a good choice. It's perfect for cleaning up after mowing and trimming. Our driveway is wide behind our house, and we have a large porch. The blower cleans them quickly and perfectly, not a grass clipping, a chunk of dry dirt, or small stone in sight. The blower is perfect for the tree that drops small leaves. A person needs a trimmer to keep fence-lines neat and pretty, and to edge the sidewalk and garage. My husband loves these because they are much quieter and have a better battery life. We had four batteries that had to be changed in our small yard. He can do it quickly with one battery. He likes the trimmer so much that he edges the sidewalks of the two houses to our left and right. The neighbors love him. Overall, we are very, very glad we chose this set, it was a good price, easy to use, and quiet... What more could a person want?
👤The unit was covered in grass clippings when we opened it. It was probably returned after being used. There was a request for a replacement.
👤The edger does a good job and I don't see any problems with grass, weeds, or anything else. Some of the reviews say it can't handle the load. It's true! If you are looking for something that is light-weight, easy to work with, and electric, then this edger is a good choice. It's pretty much what we got. The blower can't handle wet grass. Unless you are blowing very dry, the blower consumes a lot of power. It works well in that case.
👤I am a 50 year old female and this product is easy to use. The battery only lasts 30 minutes in my yard, so I'm glad I got the 2 battery option. It takes hours to charge.
👤I own a Honda 4-stroke string trimmer that can cut a farm field and a corded blower that can clear leaves from a large lawn. Why did I purchase these? The cord is a pain, the Honda is heavy and a pain, and sometimes my wife wants to just touch up my grass cutting along the side of the house and the trees. She preferred the battery-powered Black and Decker that died. She will only use the Honda if I start it. We spent an entire $88 to buy this string trimmer and "sweeper", they won't call it a blower, for good reason. It's $88 for two tools. Light trimming along the house walls and sidewalks can be accomplished with the string trimmer. It has an edger-bracket that pops out. I wouldn't call it a strong edger. The line feed is automatic. No bumping. It works. It comes with two battery packs. Each person will run the trimmer for a while. I haven't tested the battery life of thesweeper yet. The "sweeper" does a great job of clearing the patio and sidewalk. The "sweeper" is quieter than the corded blower. It only has one string and the speed is not very high. This is not the tool for clearing thick weeds or brush, or cutting a patch of grass on a hill. The sweeper is not a leaf blower. Not even close. The tool set is outstanding for light-duty jobs. I am going to use it on my own after most grass cutting jobs. I will use the Honda or corded blower for tougher jobs. You don't really expect a package of string trimming and leaf-blowing to cost $88?
There is a compatible battery and charger for the 24V 2AH battery. MAXLANDER Cordless String Trimmer/Edger has a powerful and lightweight 20V battery and 1pcs quick-charging for higher efficiency and longer run time. Increased Torque is achieved by power drive transmission. 1 hour can meet your requirements. 2-TOOLS- IN-1 You can get all your trimming done with one tool. The string trimmer has a pre-installed wheel that can help you with straighter lines and cleaner cuts. You don't damage plants, landscape features, and lawn ornaments if you use a protection ring. The Auto&Command line feed system can be used for instant line feeding, so you don't have to stop and can get the job done quicker. You can adjust the settings so you can trim in tight, awkward spaces or edge in even terrain. You can adjust the shaft based on your preference and comfort with the Weed eater. Detachable Weed Eater lightweight design maximizes control and reduces stress on your arms. After it is disassembled, the weed wacker could be restored to its original state. Make your storeroom bigger.
👤I moved into a new house a few weeks ago and wanted to start doing my own lawn care and gardening myself. I searched Amazon to find tools that work the same way as my drill and other small power tools. It takes about five minutes to take this from the box and use it for lawn work. The Allen wrench is the only tool that can be used outside of the box. This comes with six more batteries. There are four buttons that you should be aware of, the first one is the button to flip the black handle forward and backward, it is located in the middle of the handle and has a lock icon. The second button on the motor assembly allows you to tilt the weed trimmer when using it around trees or around the house. When turning this into a sidewalk edger, the rotating 90 on the handle is used. The lock mechanism on the Trigger will prevent you from accidentally squeezing it again if you flick it with your thumb.
👤I've had many trimmers over the years but this was my first battery operated one. I was attracted by the low price and the reviews which were all 5 stars. I am stupid! I decided to send this back and buy a different animal, a Black & Decker, which is completely different from the Maxlander. The Maxlander comes with no directions for assembly or operation. The B&D had a manual of 12 pages. It is not entirely intuitive that neither assemble or operation is complex. There are a number of important issues with the storage of the battery that the buyer is not told about. There are two more The trimmer has a number of pre-wound string spools. The string keeps getting tangled as it feeds because they are wound entirely wrong. The first picture is from the B&D manual and the second is a picture of the Maxlander spools, which look like they were cut by a child. I unwound the string after having to untangle the cord many times. The string wound on smoothly, but the Maxlander didn't smoothly feed it. I had to open the cover multiple times to pull out the string that was broken off. The Maxlander is easy to use and light weight, so it's a positive note. I do not recommend buying one from me.
👤I don't have to worry about gas in my weed eater or a cord in my electric one. I am very pleased with this one, I wanted a corded one.
👤The handle and length of the shaft are pros. This is a plus for someone under 5 feet tall. It's easy to replace the string. To run, push the button. The battery lasts around 2 acres in the yard. It is quick to charge. Com- You need to push the button at the bottom of the string to release it. After having a standard.
👤I only use the trimmer once and I have a good amount of battery power left. It is light and less tiring to use than my old edger. I hope it is reliable.
The warranty is limited to 5 years. You can easily convert from a trimmer string to a wheel edger in just seconds. The Command Feed system has a push button. Free Spools for Life. Do it all with the same battery. Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx products. The batteries for the 20V Power Share MaxLithium can be used on any other tool in the WORX PowerShare family. You can get to tough-to-reach places on sloped terrain. Straighter lines and cleaner cuts can be given by support and guide the edger. You don't damage plants, landscape features, and lawn ornaments while you're trimming. 7600rpm no-load speed, 12” cutting diameter, 5.3 lbs. The cutting line length is 0.065” and the machine weight is 10.
👤I have an unfortunate amount of yard work. I gave up on the gas-powered weed trimmer that was leftover from my marriage. I spent more time figuring it out than trimming. My back and shoulders were killed. With gas powered yard machines, I don't know how much oil to mix, what kind of gas to put in and so on. I'm not a mechanical person. My quest for an easier and lighter weed trimmer began. I landed on this Worx Trimmer because of reviews on Amazon and other marketplaces. After three mowing cycles, I have used the weed trimmer. No regrets so far. It's economical. The second battery is very useful because I have almost an acre of yard. If I decide to get a third battery, I can get one for about 40 dollars. I took out the four-year warranty for less than five bucks, which was an added bonus for the mechanically challenged. How does it perform? I like it. A friend of mine stopped by and said how nice the yard was. I have a health issue that causes chronic pain and the trimmer is lightweight. The lack of weight is a huge relief compared to the amount of weight the gas trimmer has. I have enough to take care of my yard, even though the batteries will lose steam. A child could easily feed line. I need to say more. I went back and forth with this brand and another that starts with a B. I didn't know about this brand. So glad that I chose the Worx. It will work for you if it works for me. If you found my review helpful, please click/tap the yes icon. Thank you so much!
👤It's great for a small property. The string that came with it should be changed. It's weak and needs to be fed. I use the.80 string from DeWalt and it is better than the.worx string that comes with it. You just have to tap it quickly, while running, it will pause. It will advance a few times when you need more string. The batteries could last longer, but they only give you two of them. It's not a big deal. It would be an issue if they gave you one battery. The edger feature gives you clean looking lines. Keeping that line straight is not the fault of the tools. It's very flexible in terms of comfort, so you can make it fit your body size. It's light enough. This is a great tool for a person with a small property, as long as they have some heavier gauge string. 99 dollars is a good price for a decent weed whacker. I have a corner property in the suburbs so I have plenty of grass. I can edge it all with one battery.
👤This isn't a gas mower. You can enjoy the benefits of this gem once you get that in your head. I've always had gas trimmers. I hated the destruction of fencing, siding, and edging. I have never liked getting hit in the shins with rocks and mulch chips. I don't like ringing in my ears or vibrating hands, they are not on my list of fun things. The little 20V trimmer is able to address all those issues. It cuts the grass, even though it isn't as powerful as a gas trimmer. What more do you need? It is a lot lighter. It has less noise. It is very quiet. The lack of power is a benefit. It's much easier to control a more detailed cut. The flip over edging feature is great for lining out your natural edges on landscaping beds. I know what you are thinking, how long do the batteries last? I have a quarter acre with large beds, a fence, curbs, a fire pit, and five trees to trim. This thing does them all and has enough in reserve to run my Worx blower on all the surfaces now covered with grass. Would I buy this if I were a commercial landscaper? Nope. Would I buy it if my yard was bigger? I only use one battery now. It comes with two. I have no regrets. The gasser is at a garage sale.
While you're working, the cord retention system protects against accidental unplugging. The electronic weed eater without string comes with 2* 21V Lithium batteries, which can run continuously for about 45-60 minutes for cutting thin weed. It is not fully charged during shipment for safety so please charge before use. When not in use, keep the battery fully charged. There are three types of blades for the weed wacker, plastic, metal and steel. The Cordless brush cutter is supported by a reliable motor that delivers 450W high-power and a superior run-time of 18000rpm. It's easy to use and weighs 3.6 pounds. It can be used by both men and women. TheCordless weed cutter has a long telescopic shaft which is on-demand for all. The rubber handle is comfortable. Double switches require the user to press the safety button and start simultaneously, which avoids misoperation and potential risks. A spacer avoids contact with rocks. If you have a problem with their product like battery issue or blade replacement, please feel free to contact them and they will reply within 24 hours. They are here to fix the problem.
👤I like the tool. It's battery is so low that you can understand. It did perform after running for a while. You have to take your time. It will get the job done if you work little at a time or slow feed. I have a battery issue. One does not hold full power strength and the other does not. The quality of batteries is not the same when I switch to second battery because the RPM's are faster and can take more pressure. I had to get rid of IVY patches for the first time, but it was not very strenuous. I backed off and did not go down again. ivy vines have a max of 1/4" branches. Any thickness is most any. If you're not using a professional landscaping tool, it's worth the buy, but for little projects and maintenance, it works well.
👤I used the battery life for about half an hour and it held up. Do you know about the longer time frames?
👤It's lightweight and has a handle. It's handled neglected yard trimming well and would recommend ordering extra batteries and charging stations for larger yards. It's disability friendly due to the light and quiet. Definitely recommend. It has helped me to help with yardwork again.
👤This is my first stringless trimmer and it is so much less work than fighting and string reloading.
👤I wouldn't buy something they take battery again only because I have a large area to work on and both of these batter only last me 30 min not worth it.
👤This tool worked well for a while. The saw blades are useful, but there is not much Torque with a battery-powered tool of this type. Under heavy use, the battery life is limited. The plastic holder for extension is too fragile for the required jobs and broke in short order. This needs to be strengthened. I had to put it in place with duct tape. Really!
👤The seller is responsive to concerns, which is appreciated. The product works as advertised.
👤The button that needs to be pressed to start is fine for right handed people, but I have to change hands a lot. It's in an inconvenient place. The button in the bottom or in front is more convenient. I like keeping my yard trimmed, but I have to do it in stages. I'm very happy with the purchase and price.
