Brand: Globber

👤Not worth the money. The front wheels don't turn. This is a disappointment. My 2 1/2 year old loves it. She has to get around the hallway and other furniture by backing it up. For airports and hotels, it will work, but for me to turn her, I have to lift the handle. I wanted to like this little thing. It's worth around $55-65.

👤I can't say enough good things about this scooter. It can be purchased with a toddler and lasts through when they weigh 100 lbs. We still have plenty of time, but I wish we had gotten one a year ago when our daughter was 2. The child needs to be able to sit on the seat and hold the handlebars. It can be used as a toy. Our daughter is getting used to the steering. She has had it for a while. The steering can be locked with a button on the front. She was able to navigate a pretty wide turn in the sidewalk the other day. It doesn't do hard turns. That is worth noting. That is a positive thing. Our son has a Ra*or and our daughter would likely kill herself if the Globber turned sharply. It is difficult for a 3 year old to figure out how to use the brake on the back, even though we have practiced using it. She keeps her balance on the 3-wheeler and may run into the grass. This is fast, I know. Our daughter is just 3 years old and will be able to use it for a long time. If you have a child who isn't super cautious, I would go with a big kid model. Our 8 year old does ride on this scooter only, he weighs 70 lbs. If you have older kids who want to test drive it, make sure you have a seat that can hold that much weight. I think it's 40 lbs, but I'm not sure. Happy flying!

👤I ordered two for my children. One was new and the other was used. My child has one of these and uses it all the time. The pieces are not original or belong with the model. The parts don't fit together correctly. The tools can't be used with the product. This is not acceptable. I am happy to purchase gently used items. I expect the parts have not been taken from them and replaced with inferior alternatives. It was very disappointing. I would think the brand was bad if I only bought it. More parts that are not original have been replaced. The scooters are awesome but buyer beware if they purchase a box that has knock off products that are substantially less quality. I would look for another supplier. I have to return two items that should never have been sent because customer service was a joke the second time. It was really disappointing.

👤I enjoy design and quality material. I didn't like the operation of The Globber because it only goes straight and it's hard to make the wheels go in another direction. I'm pretty upset.

2. Hurtle 3 Wheeled Scooter Lean Steer

Hurtle 3 Wheeled Scooter Lean Steer

Save money and save the environment. The PeroBuno electric duster allows more than 5000 times of use, unlike traditional keyboard dust cleaning gel or other one time compressed air use products, there is no cold injury or wet electronics. The design of the material allows you to blow or vacuum dust at any angle. This is a good onetime investment that can save you money in the long run. The fun KIDDIE exercise. A gift that challenges traditional scooting is more fun. The seat and foot pad are replaceable, so your child can sit or stand up. Light and portable. It can be brought to the park or the playground. The scooter is easy to store and it fits in the trunk of a car. There is power blowing. The little ones are enamored with the wheel technology. The flash of rainbow colors is both exciting and safe for kids. AJUSTABLE EASY-GRIP HANDLEBAR. There are 3 adjustments to the handle height. The lean-to-steer technology allows leaning, instead of turning, to control the ride for better balance and coordination. Extra-wide deck to accommodate both feet. The wheels are 120mm/80mm and have 2 at the front and 2 at the back.

Brand: Hurtle

👤The 3 wheeled scooter for kids is great. I got this scooter for my daughter and it's been a hit. The only thing you need to do is slide the handle into place. It isn't easy to remove the handle once it's in place. The handle should not be removed once it's installed. A small tool is included to tighten screws on scooters in the future. The two-in-one style is great. My child is still learning how to use a scooter while standing up. You have to use your weight to propel the turn. She can still enjoy it in the sitting position when she is frustrated. The scooter is well made. There's no rough edges. When you make the scooter go, the wheels light up in rainbow lights. It is easy to take the scooter from standing to sitting. It's easy for an adult to adjust the handlebars for a child. This doesn't fold up flat, but it takes up a lot of space in our storage area and in the car. The value is that this scooter can be used from 1-8 years old. Recommended!

👤The helmet that was offered as a voucher was never received. Customer service responded quickly and solved the issue. Customer service is great. There is a item with great height. The wheels light up. My child has special needs and he has a good size and weight. You can't manipulate steering by handlebars, so we had an issue with it. The rider needs to shift their weight to get the scooter to their destination. This scooter is not a good fit for us at this time because it is difficult for a child with gross motor delay to maneuver a turn, and because of that, it is not a good choice for a child who can not bear weight. My son has mastered the steering on the scooter and I have passed it on to him. It takes some getting used to.

👤My children enjoy riding their scooters. I bought one in pink and the other in blue. The quality and price are more than fair. The vendor is pleasant and professional. A helmet is included with each purchase even though it is not stated in the letter. What a great deal! The vendor is a great choice for your children's fun and smiles. Your kids will be happy and thank you a lot.

👤I bought two of them and they looked great. I got one for my son and one for his friend. The design is difficult to stir into the direction you want it to go. It came with a card that said thank you for buying from us. It said claim your free helmet and then you have to fill out all this information for nothing, they are just trying to get your information. That makes you not want to buy it again. Fix the design to stop the scam.

👤I looked through at least a dozen different scooters and what sold me on this was the slick look and practicality. The wheels were larger for more stability and had a place for the toddler to put their feet when rolling. It has a seat that can be pulled down and a handle bar that can be adjusted. My 2.5 year old loves the scooter. Highly recommend this. Solid materials and a great price. Not cheap at all.

3. Razor E100 Electric Scooter Sweet

Razor E100 Electric Scooter Sweet

The pneumatic front tire helps smooth out rough surfaces.

Brand: Razor

👤I bought a surprise for my grand daughter. Put it all together as instructed. It was charged for 24 hours. Set the stage for a huge surprise for her to show it to her friends. It didn't work for a second. I had people look at it. I know that everything was done perfectly after I reviewed my steps, the lights show it is charged and I know that I followed directions. I am disappointed that I have to disassemble the repackage to get it shipped. I don't know if I can trust getting this replaced with one that will work. At this point, the hassle is probably not worth it. What a wonderful day for a birthday!

👤My daughter is 7 years old. She has good balance and strength. She likes this sledgehammer. I charged it for 12 hours. We haven't had to charge it yet because she has ridden it a dozen times. She probably uses the battery for about 10 minutes each time. The child will need to push off. We won't get to use it as often since I got it in the fall. It zips pretty quickly for now. My garage is not heated so I will be taking it in for the winter. I had no issues with it for three weeks. The battery is heavy, only one complaint I have. I don't have to lift it because it's stored in a garage and I don't have to.

👤It was 20 months later that the update was very happy. Since day 1, the ride has been as strong as ever. I only had to put air in the front tire 2 or 3 times in 20 months of owning. It's easy to assemble, but don't tighten it too much because the main frame is made out of aluminum, and I've seen aluminum threads. The battery needed a full 12 hours of charge before it could be charged, but it was able to be charged for about 20 hours before my daughter rode it. Ready to ride. My daughter was so excited to ride it that she almost ended up in the street when she kicked off on the driveway which is sloped downward. If you can, have your child in an open space without cars. We went to a park with a track around a small lake. She kicked it up to 3mph, turned the grip, and off she went with me on my bicycle. The little E 100 is small enough to keep a decent pace. We rode for 15 minutes and then came back home and put the bike back on the charging port to keep it charged for a later ride. After 2 hours the green light was on. We took it out for 25 minutes again. There were no issues with the batteries. I feel bad for the children who had problems with their scooters. Ignore the review that said my daughter hated it. The electric motor has to be started until 3mph. I did not know anything about this when I decided to buy. " Come on... It's a nice safety feature for a beginning rider of powered vehicles to get it up to 3mph before the motor engages. It's fun when it gets going.

4. Den Haven Scooter Kids Brake Pink

Brand: Oxgord

👤We bought another one for our daughter because we loved it so much. It was a Christmas present to our son, and he got to grips with it quickly. It is lean to turn. We ordered another one for our daughter because she figured it out quickly. It held me well and I have ridden it many times. Excellent quality. Especially for the price.

👤This is the second scooter I have purchased. The first one was left in the driveway by a neighbor because they thought kids would be kids. If you're looking for a scooter that won't break the bank and will last, then this is not the one for you.

👤Young riders have the confidence to improve their skills. A 5 year-old has had trouble with a scooter. He took this on a 1/2 mile trip around the park. He takes it everywhere. The handles don't turn, you lean the bar left or right, and the wheels turn left or right. It is intuitive and young riders enjoy it. The wheels turn better than expected. This is not as sturdy as an aluminum scooter, but it has a lot of flexibility.

👤The scooter is amazing. My daughter hated using the razor scooter. This one is better because it has three wheels. This scooter feels safer and has more control than the previous one I had. We bought a second for my other child because I liked it so much. You won't regret buying this scooter. It's pretty amazing! The best scooter out there.

👤We bought this for kid 5 when he was two years old. I was hesitant because he was young and I thought of a lot of frustration, but there was nothing else I could do. Holy cow. He quickly learned how to ride, steer, and sit while zooming so he can coast into the grass. All the kids could have played with it if I had bought it for kid #1. There are some items that I think about. We had it for almost a year before his big cousin broke it. It looks like a toy. I bought another one for him and it's doing well. He is almost four years old and still rides it. Great purchase.

👤The other kids in the neighborhood had scooters, but they were designed for older kids, so we got this for my daughter. She wasn't able to turn the handlebars with the scooter yet. This setup makes it easy to learn and use the scooter because she can lean naturally. It's easier to adjust to her height when the handlebars are fixed, and it's even easier when my boys grow up and learn to use the scooter as well.

👤I bought two scooters for my kids. It took them a couple of days to understand that turning meant leaning the handle to the side, but they didn't put them down. The two wheels in the front design allow the kids to kick for speed without hitting the back wheel.

5. Shot Taker Co Educational Development

Shot Taker Co Educational Development

You don't need to buy new scooters as you get older. The handlebar can be adjusted for a wide range of ages. As you grow older, this Scooter for Kids is perfect for you as a scooter for adults and teens. There are 4 height options for the handlebar. You can match your ride to your style. Scooters are available in 6 fashionable and stylish designs. The hard plastic design board can hold up to 175 lbs. It's great for kids, teens, and adults. Better safety features can be achieved with the re-design of wheels. Adding a wheel cover on each wheel and increasing the board's height to 4” tall prevents kids' hands from getting injured by touching the wheels or the ground. Children's hands are protected from rolling wheels with the help of the Handles on both sides of the scooters. Their scooter wheels allow users to create movements in multiple directions on hard floor surfaces such as gym, classroom, indoor and outdoor space. Increasing strength and balance helps children develop core strength in both the upper and lower body while having fun.

Brand: Shot Taker Co. Est. 2017

👤These scooter boards are fun to play with. The fun begins when the TV is turned off, the books are closed and furniture is pushed back. Two boys use the scooter boards for everything from races to training rides. They build tunnels to ride through and connect for push-pull games. The handles of the scooters are used to make the toys. The whee!s are designed to turn tight corners, and the 9 year old spins around like an ice skater, though on his knees with his hands above his head. The boards work well on hardwood and tile. The wheels are plastic and would pick up fragments that might harm indoor floors, so not sure about using them out on the driveway. I don't think they should be used in the grass. They are great for active kids.

👤This was too small for my child to do occupational therapy. I keep it for other uses, but I am disappointed that it was advertised for OT.

👤The scooter boards are awesome. I got three of them for my children because one of them is in the hospital. They can use these portable vehicles to scoot around the floor. It's a great way to get out energy on a cold day when we have to be inside, and they're small enough that they can be used indoors. The kids don't lose control of the scooters since they are low to the ground.

👤My kids of all ages have been using these, as well as the kids at co-op during gym class, and they have held up well!

👤A toy that keeps the kids active indoors. The company sent me an email with game suggestions. My kids are 7 and 11 years old and they played for hours on how fast they could put toys in a basket. I tried it once but was afraid I would break it as I am past the weight limit. My kids are not very wild, so I think it will last for us.

👤We had it for a while. My boys love it. Watching them laugh and chase each other was fun. I get on. I originally bought it for physical therapy, but it turned out to be used for fun.

👤My 6 year old son asked to get one after playing with something similar in gym class. Several other were much more expensive. I was hesitant to spend the money on a board. I will say that it was worth it. He had it for about 4-5 months. It's still possible to ride it, but not sure how long. I guess I will take it because he plays rough with it.

👤I was playing with my dogs while I was on the scooter. I only weigh 150 lbs, but the board cracked in half after 5 uses. It is no longer usable. I would suggest anyone who is close to the weight limit to order a different item as this one is not sturdy enough.

6. AQUAROBOTMAN MagicJet Seascooter Snorkeling Adventures

AQUAROBOTMAN MagicJet Seascooter Snorkeling Adventures

Comes complete with a Kenda tire and aluminum rim. It takes up to 60 minutes for the battery to run, and with a whole unit underwater pluggable design, you can swap it in a minute. Power in your palm will give you the power to dive up to 50m. It can indicate the battery's capacity to keep you safe. The propellers have a net to protect fingers from injury. It is possible to use two scooters in parallel for a better experience. Three camera mounts are used for multi-directional shooting. MagicJet will not disturb the sea creatures, which will bring you more diving experience.

Brand: Aquarobotman

👤In April of 2020 we had issues with it after we purchased it. When the button was pressed, the fan stopped spinning. The company told me that I would have to pay for the part and shipping, and that I would have to pay $42 for it. The cost for me to ship it to Hong Kong was too much. I thought it had a 6-month warranty, but I was told it was broken. I was responsible for the cost of repairs. I ordered a different brand on Amazon because I didn't think it was worth $400 to fix it. It cost me a lot to ship it to them, but all is good.

👤The first product was not working and I was sent a second product. I need to ship the first product back internationally due to the large battery being a dangerous good, but I am trying to return it. Amazon is helpful through the process, but it is still not resolved. The product works as advertised, but maybe my expectations were too high. I don't see the massive advantage as I am still very fit and like to play around while snorkeling. I only used it once for that reason. The concept of the underwater scooter is no longer appealing to me. It's a hassle to travel, as it's quite bulky.

👤I can't work under water for more than 5 minutes since I have charged it full. It stopped. It was tried 3 times and the same results.

👤The product is good and the battery life is impressive. Not cheap, but worth the money.

👤It looks like a good product, just unboxed.

👤These little scooters are amazing. Customer service is top-notch. I would recommend these scooters to anyone who wants to have fun in the water.

👤The scooter is fun to ride. Not bulky like others, the design is nice.

👤The unit is not powerful enough for an adult 185 lbs or more. Does not come close to meeting performance as stated in the listing details. Lower lacks thrust, poor design, and overpriced. Aquarobotman was the worst model of dive scooters I have tried. The Sublue Seabow has the best power and features, but needs some software issues fixed in the 2nd generation if they listen to those who have tested it. Most people don't need pocket change. Aquarobotman is an expensive water, unless you get it for free, you will be disappointed.

7. Razor Motorized 24 Volt Rechargeable Electric

Razor Motorized 24 Volt Rechargeable Electric

The weight limit is 120 lbs. Ages 4-7. The motor is powered by a 100 watt, high-torque, single-speed, chain-driven motor that delivers fun at speeds up to 10 mph (16 km/h) for kids ages 8 and up. A long range battery system provides up to 40 minutes of continuous use while also building comfort, confidence, and control. It takes 3-6 hours to fully charge. Extra features: Additional features include soft rubber grips with twist acceleration control, foldable handlebars, and retractable kickstand. The frame and fork are all-steel and will last for a long time. 54 lbs. The Razor E125 has a kid-sized deck and frame making it the perfect introduction to electric-powered fun. The pneumatic front tire helps smooth out rough surfaces.

Brand: Razor

👤I ordered this for my little man yesterday and it was delivered today. The setup was easy and we were able to ride it around for 30 minutes before it was time to come back inside. My 7 year old loves this scooter, it seems quick at first, but becomes easy to use once you get used to it. My son cannot wait until tomorrow to ride it again. I am 5'9 152 lbs and was able to ride it without a problem and the speed is still fast. The on/off switch was flimsy and the breaks could be a little better, but they still do the job. Great purchase!

👤The battery light turned green after 12 hours after the directions were followed. My son rode for 30 minutes and the battery died. He was able to ride again for 15 minutes or so after he charged the battery for 8 hours. The battery was charged for a full 12 hours. Completely dead. I contacted the seller to see what they recommend, but I will return. My child is very disappointed.

👤It took less than a year for me to start working again. Was used very little. The warranty expired if the battery won't hold a charge or it just broke. I would have expected it to last at least a couple of years if not more but this one quit working after 9 months. They won't offer an exchange since it's out of warranty.

👤The scooter did not work properly after it was assembled, so it was not returned. I don't think purchasing this is a good idea.

👤I love this scooter. I brought my daughter a Last Christmas gift and my son a really expensive scooter/bike for his birthday. Her scooter was half the price and it worked better. I bought two more of these after returning his. We have 3 for everyone to ride together. They are great. Even for me, speed is good. Sturdy and hold up well. I highly recommend them.

👤My 2 children are around 70 lbs. The scooter has a low center of gravity, which makes it easy to balance. So far great. I can't think of a negative thing about it. Will probably buy another one.

👤Shipping was fast. The scooter has a good amount of power. A decent amount of time has passed so far. I think this will degrade over time depending on the amount of charges put on the battery.

👤The on/off switch is located on the side. You think it's turned off when it doesn't stay lit. The on/off switch location makes it easy to hit with your foot and turn off. No complaints. Powerful and fast. I bought a Christmas gift for my grandsons. They said it was the best gift they had ever received.

8. Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter

Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter

Extra-wide deck to accommodate both feet. The wheels are 120mm/80mm and have 2 at the front and 2 at the back. Each time you twist the throttle, the blue LEDs on the deck light up. The motor is powered by a 100 watt, high-torque, single-speed, chain-driven motor. Up to 40 minutes of continuous use is provided by the 24V and 12V sealed-lead-acid battery system. The air-filled front tire helps make the ride smooth. The frame and fork are all-steel for a sturdy ride.

Brand: Razor

👤I bought the scooters for the boys. I followed the directions and recommendations of other reviewers and charged them 24 hours later. On the big day, the boys unwrapped them and jumped on them. The batteries died after 30 minutes. We tried to charge them, but they wouldn't take a charge. The batteries were all over the place when the scope was put on them by the dad, which means they are not good. They have to be charged once a month, after reading the instructions, if they are used or not. I'm not sure what that's about, I'm sure these scooters have been sitting around for a while before I bought them. Since the instructions say to contact Razor, not where purchased from, any repairs or replacements will be calling them. Once I speak them, I will review again.

👤Not what I was expecting. We thought it would allow you to turn, but it's made for full throttle strait-aways. You have to turn and release the gripb, it comes to a stop, then you have to squeeze the throttle again. He said I would save my money for a better one, for my 9 year old and 12 year old. My 9 year old loves it. The other brothers gave it a rating of 2. It is not shabby for the price. All in all. I give it a 3 out of 5. Don't buy it, I don't want to say that. It is a razor, it is cool. I am happy it only goes 10 mph. I would be afraid of it going faster. You don't just pull the throttle and stand on it. You have to peddle to get the wheels going. That is the reason I give it a 2 out of 5. I would have spent more money on another one if I knew this.

👤I got this for my 7 year old for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. It lights up at night and people can see her riding at night around the campground and at home. The battery lasts a long time and it goes fast. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the handlebars will loosen up after a while and you won't be aligned with the front tire. It's a simple fix, but I have had to re-tighten it multiple times after she rides it because it's just kind of a pain. It's been great. After a year, this scooter decided to stop working. Since we have 6 months of winter in Michigan, it's not like it was used everyday. It was used a lot in the summer and fall. I'm not sure what went wrong. When my daughter takes it off, it no longer goes into automatic mode. She has to ride it manually all the time. The green light says it's charged, but it won't go anywhere. I had a 2 year warranty plan and they paid off my debt. The extended warranty package got 5 stars and the scooter got 2 stars.

9. Jetson Aero All Terrain Hoverboard

Jetson Aero All Terrain Hoverboard

It is designed for riders 8 years and older. Light-up wheels on the front of the light-up lights. Light up wheels make for fun. The All Terrain tires are designed to handle more adventurous rides, not just for the driveway. It's easy for beginners and experienced riders to get on and stay on with the help of Active Balance Technology and anti-slip grip pads. The universal attachment that fits most hoverboards is ready to go. Attach the JetKart 2.0 to your hoverboard with the help of the brackets and straps, and you are off to the races. Cut corners and zoom around with complete control using the easy steer handles and rubber grips.

Brand: Jetson Electric Bike

👤The seat is in pieces when my son plays on it. It isn't very sturdy and isn't made to hold up for long. I bought it for Christmas and it has been broken since. After the first ride, it started cracking. My son is 7 years old and barely weighs 54 lbs. It should have lasted longer for the price.

👤The board is able to handle different terrains, but the board constantly sounds, even after calibration. There is no way to turn off the beeping. It's very annoying. The battery lasts about an hour and a half with regular use. I wouldn't buy again.

👤The front wheel rattles more than a shopping cart. It's worthless at speeds over 5mph.

👤I got my son a hoverboard for Christmas. The same brand go cart attachment was ordered. The base plastic on the go cart was cracked and broken when my son tried to take the attachment off and ride the hoverboard.

👤My daughter loved it at first, but then it wouldn't keep a charge. They replaced it with another one, and it was the same thing. I got my money back for the kart.

👤The battery life is not good. Wait for hours and only be able to ride for 10 minutes. Be careful!

10. Razor E200 Electric Scooter White

Razor E200 Electric Scooter White

Just about anyone can take a ride on the foot rest, which is adjusted to accommodate most heights. The E200 electric scooter is designed for ages 13 and up. The motor is powered by a 200 watt, high-torque, single-speed, chain-driven motor. Up to 40 minutes of continuous use is provided by the sealed lead-acid battery system. The frame and fork are all-steel for a sturdy ride. It is recommended for ages 13 and up.

Brand: Razor

👤The scooter is fun. My son wants the next one to be faster but he has fun with it. We bought it for his birthday. He is very lean for his age but still has a good weight range. I've driven it around a few times but I'm at the top end of the weight limit. It goes faster than you think. I told my husband that we needed to get some for everyone else. The packaging of the scooter box was open when we saw it, and the delivery guy didn't tell us we were all home. The box that the scooter came in was damaged when we opened it. The scooter didn't seem to have any damage.

👤I bought one for my grandson. I bought another one because his little sister is old enough to ride. There were no problems. They like the scooters.

👤We had some concerns about the size, wheel size, and battery life. It is difficult because pretend are in different sizes. They are too big for child size items but not enough for adult size items. This is perfect for preteens and teens. This thing has a crazy battery life. We love it. It works well. This is perfect for my doughty who is 11. She has a large shoe size for her age and the height is perfect. The larger wheels go over bumps perfectly. It goes in the grass.

👤Solid. There was no damage during shipping. There are two small scratches on the metal deck plate. I was only 25 pounds over the weight limit for my son, but I could tell they couldn't handle my weight on the parental test. You could feel a little bit of strain. This is just an update. People interested in this type of product need to read and follow instructions before using it.

👤The box and sledgehammer were damaged. We are hoping the new dishwasher is in good shape to give our son for Christmas. The quality of the replacement will be the basis for the review and ratings.

👤My son received this for Christmas. It arrived on my door in a box that had been beaten up. I hid it as my kids were getting off the bus. I did not want them to see it. He opened it on Christmas morning and it was badly scratched. He wanted to use it, so he didn't want to wait to return it. He loved using it after charging it. It is fast enough for him to enjoy it. I was disappointed that it looked used out of the box after spending so much money. I would have it if I could return it for a new one.

👤The chain tensioner broke on the first ride, but my son loves it. I had to wait until after the holiday to call the razor. I had to send a picture of the broken part as well as my Amazon receipt to the lady I spoke to. She said the warehouse is closed for a few more days so it won't ship until it reopens. It would take another 7 to 10 days after that. I ordered the part for $10 on Amazon because I wanted my son to use it sooner. It was installed fairly easy. If you go off a small bump, you may throw the chain or break the spring on the tensioner. Make sure the tires are inflated to the correct pressure. Maybe even more. The air pump's extender is in one of the handle bars. It is the only way to inflate the tires. The battery has lasted as long as we have used it, and it has been fun. If you go for a long ride, make sure you have a multi tool on you because you might need it to remove the chain guard if you throw a chain.

👤I haven't ridden this scooter in a while. I am enjoying every second of it. I've ridden Bird/Lime rental scooters before so I have something to compare. The main advantages of renting scooters are slightly better power and range, but at the cost of being heavier, not to mention that you never really know what condition the scooter will be in before riding; the battery level, brakes, other adjustments may be less than ideal. I can see why people like this because it's a low commitment option compared to having your own scooter. I prefer having my own place where I can maintain it myself and always know it's ready to go. Like any machine, there is some self maintenance that is unavoidable. I am a 160 pound rider. On my last ride, I went through a college campus with lots of elevation change, starting from a full charge. The scooter performed well with good acceleration and only struggled on the steep hills, it's difficult to walk up these hills for a long period of time. The brakes worked well and I felt in control. I had 3 out of 4 bars, even though I think it may be approaching 2 bars. The handling was able to move around other pedestrians with ease and still hold up at higher speeds. Even though I didn't get a reliable top speed measurement, I was able to reach about 16 mph without full throttle, even though I wasn't able to find a stretch of flat road that was long enough. Rider weight, hill angle, and battery level will be the main factors in determining top speed. TheBattery gauge could have more bars to help show battery level more accurately. It will dip down temporarily while going up steep hills, and then back up once you get to level ground. This is normal. When there is a high demand for electricity, every battery powered device will do this. You are fighting gravity going up hills and it takes a lot of power. It is hard to engage the cruise control with theThrottle being very sensitive. If you want to enable cruise control, you need to hold a steady speed for a few seconds and then remove your hand from the throttle. If you want to disengage, turn the engine on. I didn't know about this feature before I got this scooter, but it is nice to have. If you are going on a long ride, I would use this pin. It's not necessary, but it gives me a bit of mind knowing there's an extra piece of steel in case I don't want it to folding up. It's annoying to have to do it frequently. The next design should have a safety pin. When I realized that the magnetic brake and disk brake were controlled by the same brake handle, I added another brake handle on the other side of the vehicle so that I could control them separately. I used a standard bicycle brake handle and it worked well. They probably went with a simpler design to make it more comfortable for the rider, but I like having the option to use either brake independently or together. The magnetic brake works well overall and provides good stopping power, but it works less and less as you slow down. When I need to come to a complete stop, I only use the disk brake at lower speeds. * If you are comfortable with making such modifications and know that your safety is your own, then you should do this. One thing that annoyed me was the implication that there was a gear system included with this scooter and that "gear" 1 would climb hills better while "gear" 2 would be better for top speed. I could be wrong, but I am certain that this is B.S. and the 1 and 2 refer to an electronic power limiter. I think this feature is great to be able to change it to 1 for someone who is learning and/or a young rider, but I think it's misleading to call it that. I don't plan on opening it up to confirm this, but I have tried going into "gear" 1 to go up hills better and have noticed that "gear" 2 is better for both hill climbing and top speed. There is a weird resonance that happens at a specific speed. It is strange to go from almost completely silent to a louder vibrating sound, but it doesn't bother me. I think it's possible that this is a thing that happens with variable electric motor bikes. If anything else develops, I will update again. I'm still enjoying every ride on this scooter and commute daily. The tire pressure was low. I had to pump them up. The front one is hard to get just right. The tire valve adapter that comes with the scooter is hard to remove quickly enough to not let air out of the tire. I had to practice for a long time to get it. If you can, I would recommend pumping it up to 50psi and then removing the adapter as quickly as possible. It will allow some air out and hopefully stop around 50 psi. I squeezed the back tire with my hands and compared it to the front to make sure it was close enough. The scooter rides differently depending on tire pressure. I feel more bumps when I go faster with normal pressure. Lower pressure will give you a smooth ride, but limit your speed and range. If you release air for more than a second, you will likely already be too low and need to pump it back up. I can fill up the whole tire in a few pumps.
